Since I answered this ask one month ago today, this family has raised less than $2k. They are living in a war zone where the cost of basic items is frequently very high, and they're trying to save up to escape that war zone.

Could you and your whole family even live on $2k for a month where you live now? What would you feel like if you were trapped in besieged Gaza, not knowing if you're going to get enough donations to feed your beloved 14 year old kid?

They've had to raise their goal to $25k because their original goal of $10k was in hopes of evacuation, and after months of fundraising they haven't even gotten that. They've had to use most of what they did receive for basic survival. The dad of the family has lost his job in the midst of all of this and they're all relying on our solidarity to keep living.

Please help them keep living! Take an honest look at what you can afford. Can you skip a fancy coffee this week and send that $5 their way instead?

This is still incredibly urgent!

As of this reblog they're at $9502 raised of a goal of $25k, and nobody's sent anything in several days.

Please help if you can!! If you send me proof that you contributed at least $5 I will make a bad post it note doodle for you or record a silly voice message for you!!
