I also noticed the green house and another spare house on the wide shot, we have two mystery guests returning and I can't wait to see who it is.

Michael was posting some cryptic stuff recently about wanting to know if people missed watching him play games, and Alfredo commented on it.

I hope this might be something they might do every so often, have a server only they can get into where they sometimes meet up in some combination and play games.

Maybe not weekly Minecraft like we had but it would be nice to have them sometimes

Legitimate question, and not truing to start anything, mostly because I haven't been keeping up with rt/AH at all but want to know if more problematic shit has come up.

I find him overrated and annoying. The subreddit annoys me with the constant ass-kissing, especially since it was announced he has a THIRD podcast, a solo one where he just talks about random shit. No content creator should have or host three concurrent podcasts, in my opinion.

I've noticed in content that he almost needs to make himself the center of attention and gets *really* pushy about making everything into content**, making bits to monetize or merch out of. This is most noticeable in F**kace, where I've made my stance pretty clear that I think it sucks, and that I only listen out of obligation as a Gavin fan because it's like pulling teeth to get any new non-SMG content that features him.

In hindsight to all the problematic stuff that has come out of the woodwork, especially regarding how he handled AH, he comes off as someone very out of touch with how to be professional in running a department or a business, even though he had prior experience with working at a call center. He's a grown man who should have known better that when his employees act shitty towards each other off camera, he should have stepped in and nipped it in the bud, but he didn't because at times, he himself enabled it. His alcoholism is no excuse for allowing shitty behavior to propagate and his apologies and statements every time something problematic happens have become almost disingenuous in hindsight. (btw, I think that *all* content creators are problematic in some way or form because they are still human beings after all; some are just better than others at not showing it.)

Even though he says on multiple occasions that Jack and Gavin are his closest friends, how come he treats them the worst, like laughing at Jack when Jack got robbed, or randomly bursting into Gavin's room when he lived with the Ramseys that at times Gavin would prop something under the door to keep him out? Like, I get friendly ribbing at times, but there are moments in content where I feel it crosses a line into a toxic friendship where he needs to have someone latch onto him or have someone be his punching bag.

This man's antics have worn thin over time and I cannot bring myself to care anymore.

There's an interview with Geoff Ramsey I half remember from the mid 2010s where he said the reason he started Achievement Hunter with Jack was because he missed the early years of RoosterTeeth when he got to spend all day hanging out in a little room with his friends, and AH was a way to recreate that experience at a time when RT was expanding ever bigger.

I often think about that and about how AH was taking an identical trajectory to RT until it began to decline. One day you start a Minecraft let's play series with your friends because its fun, and 5 years later you're on episode 5 billion and you fucking hate Minecraft and wish you could play something else but you can't stop because your corporate overlords can still squeeze some money from it.

Around the time I stopped watching AH, their Minecraft world was crashing constantly in every video because it had been dragged across dozens of consoles and dozens of versions of the game for years and was approaching being completely unplayable. But Geoff said they couldn't quit playing on that world because it would hurt merchandise sales. Awesome

of course around the time my obsessed with RT/AH eased (i kept watching in some capacity until the end and i do keep up with a handful of the podcasts bc you can pry Geoff Ramsey from my cold dead hands but mostly i had fallen off in terms of overly emotional investment) is when i came back around to dan and phil as they were making a comeback and that. ohhhh that. oh the phan proof well that i fell down. and then for it to be FUCKING RIGHT

My thoughts on Rooster Teeth

Rooster Teeth managed to last over twenty-one years, first beginning on 1st April 2003. Established by Burnie Burns, Matt Hullum, Geoff Ramsey, Gus Sorola and Joel Heyman.Red Vs. Blue: A series based on the video game, Halo, was their first major series. Very funny and very quotable. Their team of personalities at Achievement Hunter created series such as Let’s Play and AHWU (Achievement Hunter Weekly Update). Achievement Hunter is how I consumed most of their material.

I first accidentally discovered them by seeing Fails of The Weak on YouTube: Back then I didn’t know which company was behind it. It was only a few years later when I realised who made those videos! Then I recognised Ray’s and Jack’s voices everywhere. I then immediately became an Achievement Hunter fan, watching shows like Rage Quit, Let’s Plays and GO. I absolutely fell in love with Geoff and then later, Ryan. Although, I have a soft spot for everybody. I eventually watched some Fun Haus and Cowchop content too as well as The Slow Mo guys, featuring Gavin Free and Daniel Gruchy. Later down the line I began to watch the RT Podcast, but the AH podcast took the top spot for me. I watched Rooster Teeth content for what must have been around fifteen years in total until I started to drift away from them. This ultimately came to an end after the Ryan incident. He was my top favourite Achievement Hunter,so it was a huge blow to find out what he was really like. 

Achievement Hunter ultimately helped shape my sense of humour and I regularly quote videos I’ve seen (which nobody else around me understands). Although I’d drifted away from watching their content, I’m still sad to have seen the decline and the secession of the company: We all wish experiences like that could last forever, don’t we? It was very sad to see Rooster Teeth decline so quickly after being acquired by Warner Bros, but we all have the good memories to look back on. In the beginning, I only really liked Gavin (because he’s English) and Geoff, but eventually I began to love everybody for their own reasons. Jack, because he always has some kind of quick witted retort. Ryan, because he was a bit of a weirdo (which used to be a good thing), and Lyndsay, because you can tell she takes no shit. It would be fun, some day, to look back on my favourite videos. I just don’t think I’m ready yet. Writing about it all is difficult enough. 

I can’t leave here without voicing my thoughts on Ryan and Adam (FunHaus). Ryan Heywood was my top favourite Achievement Hunter: Nerdy, good looking, funny, lovely. All-round good guy. And he has a wife and kids! I resonated with his gaming style and personality so much, which makes his off work behaviour all the more upsetting. A nude of his was leaked and it came out that he’d been using his status as YouTube star to groom young women into sleeping with him. Truly shocking from a man who conveyed the complete opposite in content. I remember being so surprised and upset when he announced he was leaving, and then discovering why. I never had any personal conversations with him or anything, but I somehow still feel hurt by him. I can only imagine how his friends and family feel about it all. I do hope he’s doing better these days, But he can never come back. He’s free to try, but that would go down like a lead balloon. I miss his voice and his humour (and his face, of course), but I can’t help but think of him as a bit of a creep now, which is very sad.

Rooster Teeth and its productions will always have a place in my heart and I don’t think it can ever be replaced. Although, the folks from the company occasionally do their own stuff and collaborate with each other. That’s really lovely to see.

Stop following her, stop messaging her, stop treating her like an internet celeb just because her dad is.

Most of us are 20+ nowadays, and there are a lot of much older fans. There is no justifiable excuse for anyone over the age of 20 to be following a 15 year old girl on Social media if they don't know her.

She's a child. Start treating her like one. And leave her the fuck alone.
