What do you think about Rudolph the rednosed reindeer?
What I think about it? Well I think Father Christmas is really not taking good care of his reindeer, if his favourite one has a severe rhinitis. If its nose is so red it seems to be glowing, then something is inflammed severely, which increases blood flow dramatically, causing the red colour. Either due to allergies, or some kind of infection, or maybe the reindeer feel like flying because of a certain white powder they got provided with nasally, also increasing blood flow. They should call a veterinarian for that one. There is no other logical explanation for those things, the reindeers are high on snow, think they are flying and have a severe rhinitis.
#rudolph the red nosed reindeer#father christmas should take better care of his animals#can provide presents for everyone but not care for his animals typical agriculturist#roleplay#sherlock roleplay#sherlock rp#rp#johnlock rp#johnlock roleplay#reindeer#christmas#father christmas#santa#santa claus#or maybe it would rather be considered doping his racehorses instead of agriculture#rudolph the red nosed reindeer took a big nose of snow and now has severe rhinitis maybe even septum necrosis#father christmas is probably high on his own snow supply as well

EVERY fantasy book EVERY scifi novel every starwars movie every post apocalyptic show. I ask, WTF??? The same same question EVERY time. Say it with me - WHERE’S THE FARMING?
#ursula k le guin is guiding me. hand on my shoulder.#approx 200 generations of agriculturist ancestors stand at the other shoulder and they are yelling#where does your food come from? who makes your clothes?#who repairs them?#how do you store these things? how do you preserve them?#What fuel do u use to cook how many people are you feeding?#look. too much of the art i consume comes from the imperial core/global north where most of us have to think about where our shit comes from#approximately none of the time#but if u are writing about an alternative world u HAVE to have these systems#i just watched the gay episode of TLOU and it was pretty good in that regard but in the early part the guy had chickens#excellent move good work#and then the chickens never reappeared?? nor the food garden? we only saw leisure activities? which sure u could have some time i guess.#but what the fuck were you feeding those chickens? did ur big metal fence keep foxes away too?#and then at the end [spoiler event] WITHOUT LIKE. REFERENCING WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO THE ANIMALS?#YOU HAVE DEPENDENTS MY DUDE. YOU CAN'T JUST [SPOILER].#and how do those quarantine zones work? those walled citiess? we saw the land 10 miles to the east and it was wilderness?#and weirdest thing there was pasture? grazed pasture? but no animals on it? is this city land?#why weren't the fugitives avoiding it? why was it in the middle of forest?#or was it some other self sufficient person? in an underground bunker? who herded all their sheep in when they heard people coming?#which if u have ever worked with sheep. good luck doing that urgently.#me fein#agriculture

Nutrition and Diet for Enhanced Productivity on the Farm
Farming is a physically taxing occupation that calls for concentration, energy, and endurance. Maintaining optimal health through appropriate diet is essential for working in the fields, tending to livestock, or running your farm. In addition to keeping you healthy, a balanced diet can increase your mood, productivity, and ability to handle the various tasks that come with farm life. Here are some crucial dietary guidelines to assist increase agricultural productivity.
The Value of a Well-Balanced Diet Long hours and physical effort are common in farm work, so it's critical to provide your body with the proper nutrition. The following food groups should be included in a balanced diet: protein, carbs, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals. Maintaining energy, mending muscle, and promoting general health all depend on this combination of nutrients.
The proper kinds of food can help farmers get the energy they need throughout the day. Proteins from meat, eggs, and legumes are essential for strength and muscle regeneration, while carbohydrates from nutritious grains, fruits, and vegetables give you sustained energy. Nuts, avocados, and olive oil are good sources of healthy fats that help your body absorb vital vitamins and prolong feelings of fullness.
Staying Hydrated Is Essential Another crucial element of sustaining your energy levels when working on the farm is drinking enough water. Your productivity may be hampered by headaches, exhaustion, and difficulty concentrating due to dehydration. When working outside, especially on hot days, it's simple to forget to drink enough water, but it's crucial to stay hydrated throughout the day.
Drink at least 8 cups of water each day to be properly hydrated, and more if you're working in a hot environment. To further help you fulfill your hydration demands, you can incorporate hydrating foods like celery, watermelon, and cucumbers into your diet.
Appropriate Snacking Farmers frequently have hectic schedules that leave little time for formal meals. It's easy to reach for unhealthy treats like sweets or chips while you're rushing. These may give you a short-term sugar rush, but they won't provide you long-term energy and may make you feel lethargic afterwards. Instead, choose healthy snacks that can keep you fueled throughout the day.
Nuts, yogurt, and fruit are all excellent options. They provide a good mix of protein, fiber, and healthy fats that will keep your energy levels up. Granola bars, homemade protein balls, or trail mix with dried fruit and seeds are also portable and nutrient-packed choices that can keep you going without the sugar crash.
The Emphasis on Sustainable Farming by Ajay Kumar Bishnoi
Ajay Kumar Bishnoi is an agriculturist who recognizes the value of sustainable farming methods for the soil and the health of the farmer. He encourages farmers to pay attention to what they consume, as the energy and well-being of the farmer directly impact the productivity of the farm. A healthy farmer is more likely to maintain a steady pace throughout the day, making fewer mistakes and handling tasks with more precision.
The Right Portion Control Eating the correct foods is important, but keeping a balanced diet also requires controlling portion sizes. Even if the meal is healthful, eating too much can make you feel lethargic and overfull, which may impair your productivity. It's critical to pay attention to your body's hunger signals and eat in moderation.
You can keep your energy levels stable and avoid overeating by eating smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day. To give yourself a good energy boost in the morning, you can begin your day with a nutritious breakfast, like oatmeal with fruits and nut.
The Dedication of Ajay Kumar Bishnoi to Health Ajay Kumar Bishnoi's dedication to health goes beyond agricultural methods to include each farmer's individual welfare. He is aware that increased yield from improved health promotes sustainable farming practices. Ajay promotes a comprehensive approach to farm management that takes into account caring for the people who are the foundation of agriculture by making sure that farmers have access to adequate food, water, and medical attention.
Conclusion One approach to make sure you can manage the physical demands of agricultural labor is to take good care of your health by eating a healthy diet. You may increase your energy levels, maintain focus, and improve your general productivity by eating a balanced diet, drinking plenty of water, making wise snack choices, and getting adequate sleep. As demonstrated by Ajay Kumar Bishnoi, the farmer's health is equally as vital as the land's, and both may flourish with the correct diet.

"Secret admirer" oh!
Oh. oh. oh. An advice! I wasn't expecting it. Maybe it's a call out. Maybe your standards are down right now. Or maybe you are giving much energy for something you shouldn't. Maybe you are waiting too much from emotional, romantic love to happen right now. And maybe it isn't the time yet. Oh! I wasn't expecting an advice. It is really from someone who loves you. Please, take what resonates. So, darling, it's okay, sometimes we mix something up. I remember a phrase from a kinda long time ago. It's something like: when something is missing, we try to overdo something to try to "fulfill". Darling, I understand. It's hard to heal something but it's time to recognize if something is wrong. Right? Like much social media, waiting too much on romantic love, feeling stuck on life...
My friend, when you are going through a, uhn, let's say - rollercoaster. There is some time that it is linear, right? To give impulse. Sometimes, so it's life. Maybe something is like stuck for you to try or focus on something else, something you love or it's good for you. Take care my friend. ❤💞💌

Ary (Female Reptilian Alien) x Anonymous Reader (Sfw)
(Writing some cuteness about two beings out in space >:3 Platonic luff or romantic luff, I am leaving it up to you, dear reader. )
Space is cold. That's the first thing that gets drilled into your skull once you become a spacefarer. The glittering sky may look beautiful from afar, but it is a vacuum after all. Unprotected, Your blood would boil, your lungs would collapse and ultimately, your body would freeze over from the cold.
With all the technology at the galaxy's disposal, none is more precious, more imperative than the suit you wear and the metal transport that keeps its crew cradled below its multitude of decks.
With heat being so important, some places within the ship needed it more than others. Vegetation that couldn't grow without expensive artificial sunbeams taking precedence over other areas of the ship. Food was a necessity, and some comfort had to be given up for that precious resource. The crew's cabins were, unfortunately, one of those places where a little heat had to be forfeit for the greater good. While these areas of the ship could be on the chillier side, intelligent ingenuity would find a way to make it work.
And make it work, we did.
Chilled fingers fumbled with the controls of heating blankets before you duck your head and sneak back under the covers.
"Whew, okay, done and done."
You catch the glint of the eerie shine of an eye under the blankets before toasty fingers wrap around your own. Ary was your cabin mate, and the two of you had bonded thick as thieves due to the cold climate onboard. They were a reptilian with cold green blood and a sensitive disposition to climate change. They were one of the agriculturists, working in the hot and humid biosphere on deck five. Quick on their feet and witty in the warm sunshine. Yet, outside of that environment the cold took a toll on her. She became sluggish and tired, never without a cup of something hot, with a special biosuit that helped regulate their temperature.
The two of you huddled closer together underneath the makeshift tent. Flexing your fingers as heat returned and a dull ache settled in the joints.
"Is it just me or are the sleep cycles the coldest?" Ary's voice whispers next to you.
You laugh, "I was thinking the same thing!" You shudder and the two of you huddle closer together. You tap your watch and hold it out, dim orange light filtering into the space.
"We left off on. . ."
"Episode 6," Ary supplied eagerly, learning their head against yours. "It's where Lord Zenra discovers a stowaway on his regency ship, who is in fact Princess Ezie, who went into hiding because her homeworld was under attack and now she attempts to plead with the Lord to help save her home."
You glanced up at Ary's wide eyes, "Did you skip ahead?"
"No!" Slitted pupils flared round, "But I am pretty sure I have rewatched each episode about five times! Hit the play button already, you're killing me!" You cackle, and the two of you relax back, watching the holographic screen flicker with action until sleep comes.
You wake up nose to nose with Ary, giving a small smile, before pulling back the covers. The reptilian hisses and grumbles, pulling the blanket nest tighter around them to keep away the sudden chill.
"Are you going to get up and have breakfast with me?"
You laugh as you see the tip of her snoot peek out of the blankets.
"Do I have to?"
"If you want breakfast!" You check your com, "It'll be over in an hour or so, so we got some time still but. . ."
You could already see the snoot slowly receding back into the blankets.
"Don't need it. Need bed more."
As much as you agreed with that sentiment, someone had to be the voice of reason, "The faster you get out of bed and get breakfast, that faster you can get into the biosphere~"
Ary grumbled again, "Five more minutes, save a tray for me."
Well, that was that. You give yourself a moment to reflect on how good of a friend you are, for coercing your roommate to leave a toasty bed for a nutritious meal of something that looked somewhat edible. “That’s a pat on the back for me,” you mumble before your body decides that this is the perfect moment to do a full out shudder. You shake your head, and pick up the pace to the mess hall. The faster you can grab a cuppa something warm, the sooner you can stop shivering. You grab two plates and build up two different diet routines. One more on the heavily protein side with different kinds of dried meat and some purplish nut that you have lovingly deemed “almost almonds,” the other plate is a more varied kind, with hot rod red leafy greens, and fruit that is so grey and wrinkled, it looks as if it can’t decide if it wants to break out in mold, or if it’s too shriveled to care. It tastes a lot better than it looks. Thank goodness.
You balance the trays to a table, before you scamper back to get two piping hot mugs of something the troop calls “Space Sludge,” some beings onboard think it tastes terrible, as for you yourself, you aren’t sure if your taste buds have adapted enough to pick up what some beings abhor about the drink. It tastes like a very nutty tasting tea, as if someone threw in a whole spoonful and a half of peanut butter into it. A little odd, but it’s warm, and that’s what matters. You heard from Ary that the drink is one of those close to universal beverages. She would know, she’s part of the team working towards life sustainability on the ship. You can’t imagine what that job would be like. Referencing and re-referencing the crew to make sure that one being on board wouldn’t get poisoned by what some folks could eat a truck load of without batting an eye. It sounded terrifying.
Thinking of Ary must have summoned Ary, for you feel hands hug you from behind.
”It’s too cold out here,” She pulls you closer, nose pressed against the back of your neck which makes you start. “Cosmic creepers, your nose is an ice cube!” You wriggle to try and get away. “Stop, stop, I was just warming up!” She giggles and feigns a wide eyed snuffle as you squint at her. You do another one of the blasted full body shudders and you wriggle uncomfortably. “Brrrrrrr! You’re terrible!”
Ary sticks her purple tongue out and slides across the table to sit across from you. “At least I don’t stick my cold feet on your legs in the middle of the night.”
You grin, one shoulder raising and tilt your head, having your own evil giggle. “Ehehehehe, that was so funny though-“
“Funny for you! I woke up thinking something was grabbing my legs!”
”I can’t help it, I was asleep!” You try to explain yourself while you laugh. It was an age old conversation that the two of you ran through. This shared memory was something you would never live down. It was one of the first times the two of you had pushed your bunks together and shared a bed to keep warm. You had fallen asleep and hadn’t realized you had moved. You had been so cold it apparently woke Ary up squealing, and you had woken up in a groggy stupor. It was absolute chaos, and yet, after that you had been inseparable.
You pick at the food on your plate, pressing your lips together tightly to stop from giggling. Ary drinking from their mug. It was times like these when you two were together that the whole place fell away. It was just you and her, existing together, and nothing else seemed to really matter. The cold wasn’t a problem anymore, together the both of you seemed to diminish the effect of things. Struggles became merely challenges, something to puzzle through as a team. You wondered if she knew that, how much her presence brightened up your whole existence.
Enjoy what I write? I have a tip jar! I also take writing and art commissions on kofi! ヽ(*ᵔ▿ᵔ)ノ

It requires a minimum of 1000 square meters of the area to build a commercially viable polyhouse. The construction site should be higher than the surrounding land. The selected site should be free from contamination. Good road facilities should be provided to transport polyhouse produce to nearby markets. The site should be a well-drained area and not a location with waterlogging problems. Waterlogging can damage crops, especially in areas of heavy rainfall and flooding. The polyhouses should not be built near industrial units. It protects the crops from possible pollution effects. Although they should not be located very close to roads, they should be easily accessible by various modes of transportation.

cw: season 3 spoilers.
Time passes incessantly, whether you like it or not. Before you know it, a year has passed, and Senku and your friends have returned victorious, the petrification device clutched tightly and triumphantly in Senku’s fist.
You should not be surprised and you aren’t - Tsukasa told you to believe in him after all, and you believe in Tsukasa wholeheartedly, able to extend the same courtesy to his friend by proxy. As you stand around the freezer that keeps a man you love dearly in stasis, you try to keep yourself from being emotional - the last thing you want, should this miracle truly come to fruition, is for Tsukasa to see you again as tearful as you were the night you parted for the last time.
The fridge opens after all this time, and reveals Tsukasa frozen in time, beautiful and powerful as always in his uninterrupted slumber. For a moment, you think of the one and only night you lay next to him to sleep, too afraid to return to your own chambers and him too polite to turn you away to one of your friends for comfort. You’d awoken after just a few hours, embarrassed and anxious, and he’d stayed a safe, appropriate distance away from you, trusting you enough to rest peacefully.
Tsukasa fast asleep was a sight you committed to memory, what he looks like in slumber being a secret just the two of you kept… at least up until now.
Holding your breath, you watch Mirai carefully as she prays emphatically, then slips the petrification device beneath the palm of her brother’s hand.
“Just work for a moment please… we just need it to shine one last time,” she begs to whatever god is listening.
Please work, you repeat to yourself from the bottom of your heart.
Mirai looks at you for a moment for guidance, and you freeze, the weight of her gaze a practically insurmountable pressure, but as you step forward to kneel beside her in support, your newfound friends surround you and together, you press the petrification device closer to Tsukasa’s chest. There is a glow of light that engulfs him in stone and you gasp, but just as quickly, Senku pours the revival fluid over his body in a rapid, precise motion.
You watch the man you love, not unlike a fairytale, a Briar Rose of sorts, shed his temporary stone shell, and you are frozen into place as he defrosts into his so very human, healed self. Mirai throws herself onto her brother first, immediately, as they reunite as family, and as you watch, stepping back quickly to give them space with tears streaming down your cheeks, your thankful heart beats frantically.
What do you do now? You don’t want to be too eager to see him again - what if he had time to think and reassess the situation in his cold sleep? You’ve aged a year, and have done nothing to match the effortless beauty the reporter has besides you, and she’s equally as eager, her love is louder and more obvious than yours, and Ruri pushes her closer to approach him despite her embarrassment.
You can’t fault her. No one knows the truth about how you feel other than Senku, the agriculturist and the navigator.
And perhaps Tsukasa himself.
You give yourself a few more moments to watch him, and assess the state of your heart. Your feelings are still the same, you think, as Tsukasa pats the top of Mirai’s head and thanks her for being the good sister that she is. He does the same to Minami, and your heart sinks as he indulges her first.
Of course.
The prince awakes from his slumber and is glad to encounter his princess. Minami has the same adoring look she’s had towards him since the day you’ve met her, soft waves of fair hair to match his brown locks, the figure of a fairy, the gentle tongue of a songstress. You, on the other hand, belong in the back kitchens, in the busiest of pharmacies, the forest and the fields; wild-appearing with a curt tongue and rougher palms, your visage only soft enough to be nurturing and comforting but not awe-inspiring.
You don’t belong in this scene, only as an onlooker.
Suddenly, it’s too hard to look at him, to welcome him home, even if you’d stayed at his bedside as he promised you he’d be back as soon as possible, even if he asked you not to worry about him.
He didn’t say he’d be back specifically for you.
You’d laid your head on his chest and listened to his slowing heartbeat, just out of pace with yours, but you don’t have stethoscopes in this universe. You’d let your hand rest in his, but it’s not wrong to offer a patient comfort in their time of need.
You’re not sure where you stand anymore, so you awkwardly shift your weight from foot to foot, ignoring the eyes of your friends who know that you’re in love, boring into your skin.
The navigator gently presses her hand into your back, and you turn to protest, but suddenly Tsukasa, just reborn, calls your name.
“___.”
You stiffen, your heart practically pounding in your throat. When your head snaps back in your direction, he’s so close he’s practically towering over you, his lips pulled into the brightest smile you’ve ever seen.
You can feel your eyes water involuntarily as the love you try to suppress overwhelms you.
“Tsukasa. I’m so happy you’re-” you croak out, only to be interrupted. It happens faster than you can imagine but Tsukasa takes your face in his hands, and leans in, pressing his lips to yours. Your ears burn, and so do your cheeks and so does the breath in your throat, but you’re kissing him for the very first time, and when he’s pulled back, the tears in his eyes match yours.
And instantly, you know. It’s him, and it’s you, and it’s the both of you, together, even with everyone watching.
He’s saved this love for last.
His thumbs stroke your quickly wetting cheeks as the tears of joy flow freely. You didn’t want to cry, but here you are, and he’s smiling widely, happily just for you.
“I’m sorry I took all this time to tell you, but I love you.”

AU where the Potters are actually South Asian and their earliest ancestor, Linfred of Stitchcombe, was actually an immigrant from what is now known as Tamil Nadu. He came from a family of potioneers and healers who were known for their relationship with snakes and their ability to understand the language of serpents (known within Europe as Parseltongue) but their variant of Parseltongue was believed to be a blessing from their patron deity Aravan.
The Descendants of Nandhini
The Descendants of Nandhini, more commonly known as the Descendants of Aditya by outsiders, refer to a family of Tamil wix who occupy a heavily warded and hidden territory within part of the Western Ghats in Tamil Nadu, India. They are traditionally healers and agriculturists who work closely with snakes of both Magical and mundane origins. Their affinity and bond with snakes lead them to develop the Magical ability to speak and understand the language of serpents.
They are named after the first member of the family who mastered the language of serpents, Nandhini. Nandhini was a Tamil witch who lived at the height of the Chola Empire, specifically during the mid-900s. Nandhini was her parents’ third child and only daughter. When Nandhini began to display perfect fluency in the language of serpents, it was viewed as a sign of favour from their patron Aravan and Nandhini was then announced as the family’s next head. However, she was to disguise herself as a man and go by the name Aditya as well as take on a wife for the rest of her life.
From Nandhini, new traditions were developed. One tradition was the secretive way of succession for the title of family head. While the family head remained a male in official records and to anyone who asked. But in reality, a woman held the actual title of family head. The hereditary Magic and Relics of the family was bestowed upon the eldest daughter of the main line, which she would then pass down to her eldest daughter when the daughter came of age. This is one of the family’s best kept secrets and is still kept close and hushed up to this day.
Another tradition was keeping long-living Magical serpents as familiars and protectors of the family and carriers of hereditary knowledge. These serpents were regarded around the same level as the family’s elders and the family often spoke with them for advice or knowledge.
The descendants of Nandhini, like the other Magical families of Tamil Nadu at the time, lived in harmony with their mundane neighbours. Mundanes were aware of and lived with Magic despite being unable to wield it themselves. This carried on until the start of British colonization in India. The Magical families of Tamil Nadu escaped colonization by a breath’s width by using Magic to completely hide themselves from the rest of the world. The descendants of Nandhini in particular worked with their snakes to “camouflage” their biggest family compound within the Western Ghats, with the snakes themselves acting as the living “boundaries” of their territory who also act as natural deterrents for anyone who comes too close.
The Magical families remained isolated from the outside world for the entirety of the British’s colonization of India and even lasted a couple of decades after. However, they have managed to reestablish connection with the other Magical families as the years passed by. During their time of isolation, the caste system was slowly dissolved and forgotten and many Magical Tamil families abandoned their castes and titles in favour of simply calling themselves the descendants of their oldest recorded ancestor. In the present time, Magical Tamil Nadu are large joint family groups scattered geographically but are well-connected by an intricate communication system set up by their ancestors. They are still mostly disconnected from the rest of the Magical World but not as much as it was during the colonial era.
The descendants of Nandhini in the present time mostly use the language of serpents, Tamil, and Sanskrit as their main languages. However, their members also show fluency in Middle Tamil and Classical Sanskrit. The latest generation of the descendants are currently learning present-day English.
BRITISH BRANCH — THE POTTERS
During the 1200s right as the Chola Empire began to decline, a group of the descendants of Nandhini led by someone now known as Linfred of Stitchcombe found their way to the British Isles. Though considered “eccentric” by his British neighbours, Linfred was nonetheless well-liked due to his helpfulness and affable nature. He and his family were known for their excellent healing remedies and strange plants, but they were warned by their ancestral snakes and the local snakes to hide their affinity for snakes and their knowledge of the language of serpents for their own safety.
This branch eventually adopted the surname of Potter by demand of the British Ministry of Magic, though there wasn’t any significant reason behind the choice of surnames. Though they are Potter on paper, they still proudly refer to themselves as descendants of Nandhini and would often use Nandhini as another surname in addition to Potter. They kept in contact with the main branch throughout the centuries until the main branch seceded during the British colonial period.
Despite their positive reputation in the British Magical community and their position of being essentially Purebloods, the Potters preferred to marry within their South Asian community. The other British Pureblood families attempted to marry into the Potter family for generations especially after the Potters rose to the top of their respective industries, but they remain unsuccessful to this day. It is because of this refusal to marry into the British Pureblood society that the Potters were exempted from the Sacred 28, not that they cared anyways.
The Potters amassed wealth, prestige, and influence through their revolutionary contributions and breakthroughs for British healing magic and potions. Eventually, they also started to build up a business in Magical pottery and ceramics. The potions they sell are often packaged in custom ceramic bottles made by their own company. Their business partners are exclusively businesses owned and run by South Asians and South Asian immigrants and have recently begun to open their connections to other BIPOC-owned businesses as well. As of the present day, the Potters are one of the leading names in both the potioneering and Magical pottery/ceramics industry.
The Potters usually send their children to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where they would usually be Sorted into either Slytherin or Gryffindor. However since they have reestablished their connection with their main branch in Tamil Nadu, the recent generations have been considering sending their children to their ancestral home for schooling instead.
During the mid-18th century, the Potters began to republicize their affinity and connection with snakes and their usage of the language of serpents as a way of preserving their connection to their family back in their motherland and as a silent protest against the growing negative perception of snakes and serpent-speakers in the United Kingdom. It was noted by Magical linguists that the language of serpents that the Potters knew were far different than what Europe had called “parseltongue”. This variant of “parseltongue” became known as Potters’ parseltongue amongst the European populace, though the family themselves have never used the term themselves.
Despite having lived away from their main branch for centuries, the Potters still maintain almost all of the family traditions. The family is patriarchal on paper but matriarchal in practice. Their family manor in Gloucestershire had an entire green space for the ancestral snakes that they have brought from Tamil Nadu and their other snakes that they have adopted and bred. They continue to revere their patron deity Aravan, whose image decorates sacred spaces within the Potter family estate.
In the latest generation, the Potter family is closely connected with the other Magical South Asian families within the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe. They also have close ties with the Black family who claims ancestry from ancient Egypt and Persia. The current heads of the Potter family, James and Lily, have both married Regulus Arcturus Black who is the second son of Orion and Walburga Black. James also considers Sirius Orion Black his best friend and the couple have appointed Sirius as the godfather of their eldest child Hariharan "Harry" James Potter.
