Powered through writing this because you're cool as hell and I like you! 💪 I don't and didn't really have the most idk 'attentive' family, so I'm not the best judge on how to take care of kids or people in a kids mindset, I may be a little bad at writing for caregivers and age regression in general because of this.

ANNA MARIE DARKHÖLME / ROGUE

'Hey, hey now sugah, let's calm down, you don't want to go in time out and I don't want to send ya. Explain to me why you don't like the food, I'm perfectly alright gettin' you somethin' different, there ain't no need to get upset.'

Anna can sometimes tell when you're about to have a tantrum or become more fussy than usual, even if you tend to take a while to throw a full fit, she'll watch you carefully and try to prevent one from fully forming. Gently kissing you on the forehead and brushing back your hair, asking what's wrong with a worried look on her face.

The moment you start yelling, kicking, or even crying, maybe after ignoring her question, she finds it hard not to just fold and give you what you want, after all, you're just so cute. However, her sense of responsibility and care for you overwhelms her need to coddle you.

Anna will say your name firmly, getting you to pay attention to her, and only her. She'll get a tissue for you and wipe your tears away, and ask firmly what you're sad or angry about and if you could possibly explain it to her.

If you can't verbally, for whatever reason, she'll give you the opportunity to write it on paper or she'll play a guessing game with you, the guessing game is only for when you're extremely upset and need cheering up though.

If you explain, in whatever format you need to, that you're upset because of an issue that's causing you distress, maybe food triggered sensory issues, someone was mean to you, etc, then she'll let you off the hook because you clearly didn't mean to cause any harm and you were just acting out.

Rogue will give you a bit of a talking to, telling you that crying and throwing things makes it difficult to help, but that's about it. Given it's not your fault she isn't actually too mad, she just wants you to understand that she won't know how to help if you're kicking and screaming.

If, however, your outburst was because of a silly reason, say you don't like the colour crayons and you throw them at her, she won't be as quick to accept it and move on.

She's still very sympathetic and won't ever raise her voice at you, even when you've done something especially terrible for no apparent reason.

Anna is very lenient and her 'punishments' usually just include a minute or so sitting in the corner, maybe withholding drawing from you for the day, but she always makes sure to explain in detail why you're being punished and it's usually only a last resort.

Rogue is very sweet even when she's being stern, her eyes can't help but go soft and her tone slips from that firm scolding one she uses when you're being bad, to a sweet almost coo-like baby voice.

Afterwards she comforts you like there's no tomorrow, telling you that she didn't want to hurt your feelings by taking away something or sending you to the corner, but you just need to learn some manners and how to handle yourself.

If you're fussy in terms of only liking clothes of a certain colour, food cut or made in a certain way, or things being done in a particular order, she absolutely doesn't mind doing these things for you! When it comes to cooking Rogue tends to ask for Gambit's help, she's not the worst cook in the world, but she can't do it like Remy can.

When it comes to removing parts of food, maybe you like to remove the crusts of bread and have them separate or not at all, she'll happily cut them off for you and maybe even eat the crusts while talking to you.

Sometimes she matches clothes with you! After all, 'If you like these clothes, they must be the best ones they got!' She says with a grin.

ORORO MUNROE / STORM

'My child, it's important to remember your manners when speaking to those around you. I am not angry, but you must tell me what is wrong if I am to correct my mistake or you are able to grow.'

The moment she notices you starting to throw a tantrum, which is fairly fast even if your signs are just a deep frown, asking you if everythings alright and most of the time avoiding any tantrums before they begin.

However, sometimes you refuse to tell her what's wrong, perhaps you go straight to throwing toys or food, pouting, yelling, in replying she will simply hold a gentle hand on your shoulder and kindly repeat her question on what the matter is. Her tone is gentle and her face is one of genuine concern.

Like Rogue, if you're in distress because of something that's not your fault, or maybe you're just overwhelmed, she will never hold it against you at all. If you're comfortable with it and it's something you need to calm down, Storm will pick you up and give you a tight hug, if not, she's alright with just holding a hand on your shoulder, or even removing her hand and only speaking to you.

Ororo will get on one knee, bending down to speak to you in a hushed whisper, she'll tell you that it's all okay, that she'll help you and make it better, give you different food, turn off the lights, whatever you need, she can give it to you.

However, if you're just being fussy to perhaps get a reaction out of her, she'll raise her brow in an almost amused action, as if she finds your attempts to be aggravating as cute as a cat nibbling on its owner's hand. If you're throwing a fit just to throw one, she will definitely tell you sternly that you cannot do such things, at least not in her care.

I don't think that Storm is the type to use the corner or naughty step as a punishment, after all, she has her own fear of tight, dark places, you may fear loneliness, or abandonment, she does not wish her own troubles onto a mind like yours.

Instead, she talks to you, more importantly, she'll help you figure out what you did wrong, how to improve next time, and reflect on her own actions to see if the trouble was caused by a mistake on her part. It won't be an in depth conversation, she tends to use stuffed animals as an aid to show you an outsiders perspective.

If you're struggling with saying your words out loud, never fear, she has tons of paper and crayons, or pencils, pen, markers, etc if that's what you prefer, just for you! She keeps them in her room for whenever you regress and want to keep near her when doing so.

Ororo will advise you to draw your feelings, maybe even write a letter if that's more what you're comfortable with. She doesn't mind bad spelling or handwriting, she's quite good at deciphering even the most atrociously unintelligible handwriting.

At most, and only if you've been really bad, she'll lead you to your room, or hers, just to make sure you don't get embarrassed and act out further. Storm will tell you what you did wrong as firmly as she can so that you'll understand. It's only a light scolding though, she never ever raises her voice when you're around unless you need or want her to.

If she ever does raise her voice and it startles or frightens you, she will apologise, regardless of if you've done something wrong or not. It's never her intention to harm you, you've entrusted her to care for you and she will do anything in her power to achieve that goal.

If your fussiness is about certain clothes, textures, toys, etc, she absolutely doesn't mind exclusively getting you certain clothes or toys, and she won't be angry at all if you throw a tantrum over texture or taste, because she's fully aware it can be distressing to have an unfavourable texture of clothing of food.

Ororo will always ask questions about something before she gets it for you, after a while she knows pretty much all of your likes and dislikes.

She's a great cook and can switch the taste or texture in something with just a flick of her wrist, something she doesn't mind doing, especially if the food she's already making is something that causes a lot of stress.

What if he was the only Little among them?

The others, all mostly consisting of Caregivers, never let it go upon finding out. They know he lived a hard life, so they were pretty insistent on taking care of him.

Laxus, Gajeel, and Natsu are usually the main three to have custody over him for a week or so. Sting and Rogue usually visit to help entertain him. Wendy helps care for him when he's injured or sick.

Erik, who was raised on negative beliefs surrounding Littles, did get a boost of self-confidence from having the group wanting him around enough to warrant fighting amongst each other over who got to spend time with him.

And I’m also in the process of writing a Wolvie request, Rogue headcanons, and tons of other stuff… ANYWAY uhm this is based off of one of my CG!Remy headcanons, so I hope y’all enjoy :]

Remy has been watching you all day. From the moment you came running to him because you had a nightmare at almost three in the morning, making you breakfast, watching Saturday morning cartoons, coloring with you, listening to some music, and playing card games with you. He was so tired right now. He tries his best to keep himself awake while being slumped against the couch. His hand absentmindedly runs up and down your back. You’re snuggled against his side with the back of your head pressing his chest. You kick your feet a bit off of the couch. Everything is so peaceful right now: Remy’s touch, his soft humming, your favorite movie on the TV, the sound of your legs moving against the fabric of the couch. You wouldn’t have it any other way.

Remy yawnes loudly, unable to contain his sleepy demeanor any longer. He moves his arm from your back to rest against your shoulder, his thumb reaching up and rubbing your cheek. “Gambit’s sorry, cher. I’m tired right now. I can barely keep my eyes open,” he mumbles while looking down at you with a tired gaze. It takes you a moment to process what he’s saying considering how focused you are. Once you get a second to take in what he said, you pout softly. You paw at his chest and give him a pitiful look while whining. He lets out a sad huff. Remy hates it when you’re sad. He doesn’t get angry; he just gets sad too. You’re his favorite little kid. He can’t let you be sad.

“Stay awake a little longer. Please, papa. I don’ want you to go to sleep,” you whine to him. Remy nods in understanding to your gentle pleading. “I know, mon chéri. But I can’ stand to be awake much longer,” he tells you. He displays an odd look on his face as he attempts to come up with a compromise. When he does, he kisses your forehead out of pure joy for thinking of such a good idea. “How ‘bout this? You an’ I go upstairs an’ cuddle. You can stay wit’ Gambit and he can stay wit’ you, cher,” he suggests with a sure smirk. Despite his confidence in his idea, you shake your head no. Remy bites the inside of his cheek nervously in response. He subconsciously holds his breath as worry begins to set in. He can’t let you go unsupervised or not be by his side. You and him have to be practically attached when you’re regressed. The last thing he wants is for you to end up lonely or anything worse. You go back to focusing on your movie, and Remy trusts himself; he could take a little power nap. Nothing too long, right?

 

He may have been a little far off. Next thing he knows, he’s waking up to a startling clanging and the sound of your feet quickly padding along the floor. He rubs his eyes and cards through his messy hair while looking around. The second he hears you crying, he goes into complete panic. “Oh! Mon chéri! Where are you? Are you okay? Are you hurt?” he asks out loud while getting onto his feet and trying to find you. You’re cowering in fear behind the couch, terrified that Remy is going to yell at you or punish you. However, when he finds you, he gives you the most genuine smile ever. He squats down and holds his hands out to you. “C’mon. Gambit ain’t mad. He is worried t’ough. He was scared you were hurt,” he explains to you while motioning for you to come into his arms. You nod your head and try your best to get to Remy your vision blurred by tears. “Dat’s it, mon chéri,” he praises as he pulls you to his chest. He wipes your tears and gently pets the back of your head with his warm hands.

“Now, care to tell Ol’ Remy what happened?” he asks sweetly. You nod your head against his chest slowly. You point over to the curtain rod that had fallen on the floor. Remy looks over with wide eyes and winces at the idea of every possibility of what could’ve happened. “I was walkin’ by the window and I slip on the curtain. I didn’ mean to make the metal thingy fall. I’m sorry, papa,” you explain, your voice quivering as you start crying again. “No, no, no. Dat ain’t no reason to be sorry. I promise. I don’t got any reason to be upset with you either. Long as mon chéri is safe,” he assures you, lifting up your hand to kiss the back of your palm. You giggle through your tears when he gives you the gentle kiss. Remy wipes another tear from your cheek and looks at you endearingly. “Dat’s it. Show Ol’ Remy dat adorable lil’ smile,” he coos. Out of impulse to do so, he pinches your cheeks softly, only resulting in more happy noises from you.

Baby regressor reader with caregiver Sting? Since he became guild master he hasn't had a lot of time for her so she end up breaking down and Yukino and Rogue try to calm her down (they don't know she regresses) So when Yukino summons Libra she tells them what age regression is Rogue and Yukino start comforting her. Rogue rocks her and sucks on his cloak and Yukino feeds her a bottle and then when Sting comes back there's more stuff with him?

(Guys I finally finished one lol. I got a burst of energy tonight, so I finally got this one done! So sorry for the inconvenient wait!)

You rested your head on the table. Your Papa promised he’d spend more time with you, but even since he became the Guildmaster, that promise has become harder to fulfill.

You tried not to let it get to you too badly, since you understood the importance of the job, but that doesn’t mean you had to be okay with it. 

You inhaled deeply, trying to focus on keeping your headspace at bay. With Papa busy and the others unaware of your regression, you weren’t exactly keen on slipping here, in the middle of the Guildhall. You couldn’t risk them finding out with how they used to be under Jiemma’s rule.

As far as they were concerned, age regression was some silly thing that only weak people did, but you weren’t weak! You were one of the stronger members of the Guild! But that wouldn’t mean much if anybody found out. Only Sting, and by extension Lector, knew about it, but they would never hurt you like the others might!

Besides, you were a big, patient girl! You could wait for him to become unbusy and then the two of you would spend the whole afternoon together!

But that didn’t stop the headache currently forming. You always got a nasty headache when you needed to slip but didn’t. That just upset you more and it was getting harder to be patient and wait for your Papa.

You tapped your fingers on the table in a mix of impatience and slowly growing distress. Distress that only got worse when you started worrying about your Guildmates noticing.

You gulped quietly. Maybe you should just head home and slip on your own, but with how small you were feeling right now, you weren't sure you could make it back safely. 

And that just made you panic more. With you slipping and the inability to go home which meant you were surrounded by people who would likely call for your expulsion for this ‘weakness,’ you were done for.

And Papa wasn't here to make it better! 

You pressed your forehead into the table, gripping your head, involuntarily digging your nails in as your breathing picked up.

You vaguely felt a hand on your back and heard voices that sounded distant, but you weren’t focused on those right now.

Your heart pounded uncomfortably in your chest as you covered your ears. You didn’t want to be here right now, and breathing was difficult, and your heart wouldn’t stop, and-

A hand lifted your head, and you spotted Libra looking into your eyes with Yukino standing behind her.

Everything suddenly eased up and you felt as if you could breathe easy again.

“I balanced her emotions,” Libra stated, then turned to Yukino, “There was quite a bit of turmoil going on..”

“Well, can you tell us what happened?” Rogue asked, holding Frosch in his arms. You met the Exceed’s eyes and smiled. You liked Frosch. Frosch was cute.

“Hm.. Pisces’s mother half would be able to explain it better, but to put it simply, she’s a regressor.”

You gulped. This wasn’t how today was supposed to go!

“Oh! I think Sora’s brought up the concept before!” Yukino exclaimed, smiling brightly. Rogue glanced at her, giving her a confused look. “Regressors have a mental state, or headspace, that they slip into and it causes them to behave more childlike,” Yukino quickly explained.

“Which means..” Rogue prompted.

“It’s helpful for people who’ve gone through trauma, missed out on a proper childhood, or to help with stress.”

“Ah, I see,” Rogue said, then glanced down at you. “How old are you feeling right now?”

The question didn’t quite register in your fuzzy mind. You just turned your gaze down to your hands and fiddled with them.

“She might be too young to answer, but that’s okay!” Yukino said.

You hiccuped. This wasn’t how today was supposed to go, and you didn’t know where Papa was, and the others now know and who knows how they’d treat you from now on, and you just couldn’t do this!

“I-I want Papa!” you wailed, covering your face.

Rogue gently placed Frosch down, then picked you up and took your place in the seat, cradling you to his chest, “Shh.. easy.. Who’s Papa? How can we help?”

“Papa busy.. Papa always so busy now..”

Rogue and Yukino glanced up at each other in near unison as the realization dawned on both of them.

“Well.. Papa will come back soon..” Rogue tried to assure. He didn’t seem all that good at this but he was trying and you appreciated it anyway. You always liked when he spoke softly to you. He and Yukino were always the more polite ones.

“We can take care of you until he gets back. It won’t take long, I promise,” Yukino said, ruffling your hair.

“Does she have anything?” Libra asked. “Regressors usually have items for their regression.”

“Good question.. Um.. Hey, Sweetheart?” Yukino gently placed a hand under your chin, lifting your gaze, “Do you have anything that will help us care for you?”

You buried your face in his chest, biting lightly on his cloak. Rogue made a face, but didn’t say anything other than, “Does that help you feel better?” as he patted your back.

You made a quiet noise as you snuggled closer to him.

“I wonder if she has any little gear stored in the Guildhall,” Yukino thought aloud. “I’ll go looking! Maybe I can find something to help! Libra?”

“I’ll help too,” the Spirit nodded. And with that, the two took off. Rogue hoped they would return soon since he had little to no idea on how to handle a regressor on his own. Fortunately, he didn’t have long to wait since Yukino hurried back out, brandishing something excitedly. It was a baby bottle, obviously altered to suit an adult better.

“I found this along with some formula stocked in the back of the kitchen,” she said. She shook it, which grabbed your attention. “Does our little baby want her baba?” she cooed, holding it up to your mouth. Thankfully, you took it and started nursing. The familiarity of your bottle helped lessen your tears. Rogue gently bounced you as you drank.

“Aww, she’s so cute like this! I never imagined she had such a soft side to her!” Yukino squealed.

“I understand why she and Sting hid it before, but why after he became Guildmaster?” Rogue asked as he shifted you in his arms.

“I suppose they were just used to it? Or they were too worried to let the rest of us know..” Yukino sighed, “But all that matters is that we do now and we can help them with it if they’re okay with it!”

Rogue chuckled, “Yep.”

“Hey now! What do we have here?” a familiar voice caused all three of you to jump and look up. It was Sting, looking down at you with his usual fond smile.

“PAPA!” you lunged for him, nearly taking Rogue out of his seat as you did so. Fortunately, both of them were able to prevent either of you from hitting the floor. Sting pulled you into his arms and booped your nose, “Be careful, Kiddo! You almost wiped out both Rogue and yourself!”

“S-sorry..”

“Nothing to be sorry about. I’m happy to see you too,” he nuzzled your face, which prompted a giggle out of you. Things became so much easier with Papa back.

“So, I guess you two know now?” he turned to Rogue and Yukino. Yukino giggled sheepishly, “I hope it’s alright.”

“Well, I’m sure this one doesn’t mind! Did they treat you well?” he nuzzled you again. You giggled and clapped happily. “Well, I guess that settles it!”

He adjusted you in his arms to make you more comfortable, “I finally have the rest of the day off. Paperwork..” he muttered the last word under his breath, “So, shall we spend the rest of the day together?”

“Yes, Papa!”
