All the kiddos regressing together and helping each other if someone regresses at school or on a mission

Jean and Scott being big sibs, and trying to be big sibs when they're feeling little, and having everyone assure them that they can be the little siblings

Wolverine regressing and the younger team members being big siblings, cause baby Wolvie is everything to me

Charles, Hank and Ororo essentially running the most chaotic daycare of baby mutants after a hard mission, sometimes Wolverine won't be regressed and he can help, but usually he's regressed too

The Brotherhood being invited over for play dates (bc they are also just kids and I want them to be friends with the x-men)

🕶️ Scott is a very responsible guy as it is so give him a regressor and he is ready to go

🕶️Pretty firm with rules because he doesn’t want you getting hurt

🕶️He’s more lenient on bedtimes and such if you wanna cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie with him

🕶️The only rule he’s definitely strict on is no touching his glasses or visor he doesn’t want you getting hurt

🕶️He will so happily sit and watch your little kid shows

🕶️Happily letting you tell him about your favourite characters and all their friends

🕶️While he does love that you’ve got shows and movies you enjoy and are purely for entertainment he would prefer if you’d watch something more educational

🕶️He defo likes Sesame Street

🕶️He watches it without you sometimes and has been caught multiple times by his teammates

🕶️If you ever go out to a park or even just the garden he has a little first aid kit with plasters of your favourite cartoon on

🕶️When he takes you to the park Scott defo has one of them like over the shoulder bags full of everything you could need

🕶️Snacks, drinks, change of clothes, paci, hairbrush, hair ties etc

🕶️You name it your papa has got it!

🕶️He’s all for making sure you’re hydrated and well fed

🕶️He’s really good at calming you down if you get fussy or injured

🕶️Not particularly one to tell you off if you get bratty or throw a tantrum, he’ll most likely talk you through why what you did wasn’t okay and get you to talk through your big feelings

🕶️Keeps all the colouring pages and drawings you give him

🕶️They’re stored in a box under his bed and he looks at them if he’s ever worried he’s not doing a good job as your cg

🕶️Scott sleeps with a teddy as well so if you ever end up in his bed he’ll make your stuffie and his stuffie be best friends

🕶️It’s only a normal brown teddy but he’s worn and loved. He’s called Beary

Description: Oddly, Auntie Rosie has been preoccupied lately. Niffty notices her diverted attention and the new baby items appearing in the Emporium, and wants to uncover the mystery. Turns out she’s not the only regressor in Cannibal Town! Word count: 1240

Not the only Little in Cannibal Town

Much to Niffty’s disappointment and frustration, Auntie Rosie was distracted.

Per their usual schedule, Niffty had arrived at the Emporium for their playdate.  Every week, she was allowed to visit Cannibal Town’s dear Overlord, who would treat her to tea parties, dress up, playtime, and all sorts of fun things.  It was a time they both cherished–when Rosie had someone to take care of and Niffty could let her guard down and feel like a young girl again.  

But oddly, Auntie Rosie hadn’t been acting with her usual complete attentiveness lately.  It had been going on several weeks now; when Niffty would arrive to play, they would stay on the main levels of the Emporium, not in Rosie’s quarters.  Her babysitter would take frequent breaks while they played and bustled around the shop instead of sharing stories.  Then she would return, as if nothing had happened, as if she hadn’t abandoned Niffty for eight whole minutes!

The cyclops huffed as she pouted on the floor.  Stubbornly, she buried her face into the plush cockroach that Auntie Rosie had made for her.  It wasn’t fair!  Why was she so preoccupied?  Niffty flopped over, her expression pinched in careful thoughtfulness.  She had to figure this out so she could fix it!

Let’s see, Nifty pondered, throwing her plush into the air and then catching it.  Memories of the past few weeks blew through her mind.  She just seemed so busy recently, always running around the Emporium, even when Niffty came to visit.  Several times, the cyclops had taken advantage of the lacking supervision and used a knife to draw some bugs into the hardwood floors.  Auntie Rosie had not been very happy, when she discovered that, even though she always praised her artistic talent before.

The Overlord would bring all sorts of toys, blankets, and baby furnishings to her room, but none of them were for Niffty.  “You are a bit too big for baby things, don’t you think, love?  Your big girl toys are over there!”” Rosie would smile when the cyclops asked if the rattles and pacifiers were for her.  And while she was right, it was still very confusing.

Does she not like me very much anymore? Nifty thought sadly.  Is she too busy for me?

Just as she was pondering this, Rosie returned to the Emporium’s foyer, where she had left Niffty with her toys.  Once again, her hands were full with a baby bottle and small red deer plush.  As she approached Niffty, her wide, sharp smile looked a little more tired than it usually did, but was completely cheerful nonetheless.

“Auntie Rosie!  What’s that for!?” Niffty exclaimed, scampering to her feet to get a closer look at the items.

“Just some other business, darling,” Rosie smiled, patting her head.  “Go back to your toys, I’ll be right back, and then we can play.”

Unsatisfied with that answer, Niffty grabbed onto her skirt before she could walk away again.  Auntie Rosie would come right back, probably in ten minutes like she usually disappeared for.  But Niffty had gotten tired of the breaks in between their play time, and the secretiveness.

“I want to come with you!” she announced.

Rosie’s kind smile somehow widened endearingly.  Nonetheless, she shook her head as she leaned down at pat Niffty’s head.

“I’m sorry, dear, not today.  It’ll just be a minute.”

Niffty pouted in silent protest as Rosie walked away.  It’s not fair!  I want to help! She thought, tapping her foot impatiently.  She stood there waiting for Rosie to return for an eternity; what could possibly be taking her three whole minutes?  What was more important than their play time?

Huffing, exasperated, Niffty gave up on waiting.  Quickly and quietly, she followed the path Auntie Rosie had taken, to the upper levels of the Emporium.  Nif knew these halls well; she traveled them far too many times to count when she would visit Rosie’s quarters above the shop.  This time, however, felt far more daunting, as her conscience pestered her that she was supposed to be downstairs waiting.  She ignored it; far too invested on discovering Auntie Rosie’s secret.

As the cyclops rounded a corner, she could hear the faint sound of her Caregiver singing softly.  It sounded like a lullaby; a song far too calming and gentle for her taste.  This wasn’t one of the special nursery rhymes about death and curses that she personally favored, that Rosie would sing to her while bouncing her on her knee.  These words were much softer, something Rosie had probably learned on Earth rather than in Hell.  Descriptions of stars and tenderness were embellished into the tune.

More intrigued than ever, Niffty crept down the hall in a light run until she reached the door to Miss Rosie’s quarters.  The door was cracked open, through which Niffty’s wide eye could see the Cannibal Overlord swaying back and forth in an easy motion.  Something, or rather, someone, was held securely in her arms; their head rested on her shoulder, their body entirely limp, as the lullaby soothed them to sleep.

Niffty pressed herself even closer to the door, straining and squinting to see through the crack.  She could barely make out a pair of perked ears, red and black in color, and softly glowing eyes.  Ordinarily, these clues would not be enough to deduce anything from, but the soft hum of radio static that buzzed along with Rosie’s song captured her notice.  Only one demon in hell was known for that sound, one Niffty knew particularly well.  Alastor?

Unable to contain her curiosity, she silently pushed the door open.  At first she couldn’t believe her eye, seeing Rosie, whose back was to her, rocking Alastor in her arms as he snoozed.  His eyes were fluttering softly, like a butterfly’s wings as the lullaby eased him to sleep.  He didn’t even seem to notice Niffty, or if he did, he wasn’t bothered by her presence.

Rosie turned around to see Niffty, starstruck as she stared at Alastor.  Like the Radio Demon, Rosie didn’t seem very bothered by her appearance.  She simply smiled again, pressed a finger to her lips in reminder to stay quiet, and carried Alastor to the crib on the other side of the room.  Her soft lullaby, something about sweeping stars, persisted with every step, all the way until she lowered Al’s form into the cradle.  

Tiptoeing, as not to disturb the other Little, the cyclops cautiously approached Rosie and Alastor.  The latter of whom was now fast asleep, blissfully unaware of Niffty’s awed expression.  The gears in her head turned as she finally processed that this was where her auntie had been disappearing to; she had been taking care of Alastor this whole time!

“Why doesn’t Al play with us?” she whispered as Rosie fixed his blankets.

“He’s pretty shy, dear,” Rosie replied.  “But, maybe we can talk to him when he wakes up.  I think he’d enjoy having a playmate too.”

“I’d like that,” Nif smiled widely.  “I can help take care of him too!  I can be his big sister!”

Rosie’s shoulders bounced in a silent laugh, her grin as wide as ever.  “I think we’d both appreciate that.  Now, would you like to have your tea party now while Alastor naps?”

“Yes, please!” Niffty cheered quietly, grabbing her caregiver’s hand, already imagining all the future tea parties she would be able to share with Alastor as well.

Omg I saw that you had Hercules listed in the ask game!

Of course! I've been excited about this, so thanks for asking! :D

Difference- What changes about them from being their usual self to regressed self:

He's definitely a lot more shy. He can hold a conversation pretty well, but if he's around Meg or any of his other caregivers, they'll usually take over. He's so used to being brave and taking charge when he's big, that when he's regressed, he's just burned out. He's also more easily embarrassed & struggles with sarcasm. Like when he's big, he knows Meg's just joking around, but it's harder for him when he's regressed. Meg's understanding of it though and tries to tone it down.

Friends- Do they have any regression friends? A caregiver? Anyone they get along with while regressed but not while big?

He and Pegasus are definitely best buds and Meg's his caregiver! She was a little unsure of herself at first, but wanted to help nonetheless. She knew how young he was & how much pressure he'd been under as a kid. Plus, she enjoys having someone to care for because she never got to be that way after her first boyfriend. I can definitely see both sets of his parents taking care of him, but he still feels pretty awkward about it. Surprisingly, he and Phil get along better when he's regressed. Because while Phil is a lot more stern/his usual self when Hercules is big, he's more gentle/softer towards him when he's regressed. If it helps him, that's really all he cares about and it gives him something else to care about besides work.

Monster- Do they have any fears while regressed?

Being the hero of Greece doesn't mean undying bravery, plus, there's a lot of scary things in ancient Greece! When he's big, it doesn't really bother him all that much, however, the main thing he's afraid of are the monsters that he's encountered/heard of like the cyclops, Cerberus, the hydra, etc. Even though he's already defeated some of them, they're still scary to think about. He's also afraid of the dark & really big animals. It's scary for him because there's so many things that can happen and monsters out there, but Meg reassures him that he's safe :D.

Could you do CG Cyclops/Scott Summers and Regressor Wolverine/Logan Howlette headcanons?

This is not based on just one piece of x-men media so will probably be a mix of different characterizations and canon stuff

Scott tends to get very into the leader type personality and tries his best to provide Logan with structure and routine

Logan responds well to structure, but he does not want it, he would like to spend all day outside looking for bugs and doing whatever he wants, thank you very much

Scott tries to convince Logan that things are his idea to get him to do unwanted tasks, bathing is the hardest one but sometimes he can manage to get the idea in Logan's head that he doesn't want to be a smelly little gremlin

Scott will take Logan for rides on his motorcycle as a reward, Logan thinks it's the best thing ever, especially when Scott lets him "drive", which just means sitting in front with his hands over Scott's, it's a bit awkward to workout, but Logan loves it

Logan has a hard time sleeping a lot, Scott will take him out for a walk to look for night critters if he's too awake to sleep, and he'll take him for a drive if he's just having trouble falling asleep/staying asleep

Scott let's Logan climb into bed with him (and maybe Jean depending on if Jean and Scott are together at the time) after a nightmare to snuggle

When they sleep together Logan always either ends up curled up in a ball in the middle of the bed so Scott ends up trying to sleep on the edge without falling off or laying on top of him, Scott prefers that latter because at least then he can breath

Logan likes to give Scott rocks and sticks he finds when they go on walks

Scott has gotten angry scowls on walks for scaring off Logan's animal friends several times, he just isn't as sneaky but can't let Logan wander out of his sight

Scott gets very worried when Logan runs off, which ends up happening about every other time he regresses involuntarily, Logan usually shows up before he had to use it, but he has a ready plan to search for Logan if he's gone for too long

When Logan shows back up, usually all muddy with wrecked clothes, he has to sit through a long lecture about running off without a grown up, if he's still regressed he'll then be subjected to lots of cuddles, and much to his displeasure a bath

All my figures I got!!! The Wolverine & Deadpool ones are a set and the action figures are from the original animation hehe. Scott’s visor still lights up after thirty one years!

N then I got this bc I never keep up with my keys and keep locking myself out of the house

And I have a sentinel plush now!! With all my favs on it. The comic shop owner let me have it at a discount bc I come in to buy all of his Cyclops stuff

Gambit: Now, Gambit ain't really the regressor type, but he ain't one to say no to a good onesie. Gambit's favorite animal? Tigers. Tigers are definitely one of the greatest when it comes to animals.

Cyclops: Do dinosaurs count? They're extinct, but... I really like them.

Gambit: An animal's an animal, mon ami. Dinosaurs count, yes.

Cyclops: That's good. Onesies would be nice, yeah...

Gambit: Something wrong, mon ami? You're hesitant.

Cyclops: Oh- Sorry. I'm fine.

Gambit: ...Alright, then. Gambit won't push it. For now, at least. And, you have a very nice day as well, anon. :)
