The "Worst" Wolverine

Regressor!Logan x Caregiver!Wade

(Slight Spoilers for Deadpool and Wolverine, also TW!Bedwetting)

Logan knew he was bad, that he wasn't any good. He had been the reason why there were no X-Men in his universe after all. That was why he deserved it. He deserved to never be little again. That was his self-imposed punishment. Though just because Logan's little mind had justified it, it didn't mean he really accepted it.

Logan's little brain reached out and was ecstatic at Papa Wade, taking him away from his scary, lonely, and bleak reality.

Logan went along if only to see what Wade wanted and definitely not because his mind was currently screaming out at him to leave this place.

That was until Wade took him to see Mobius. Tears welled in his eyes as it hurt to hear the confirmation that he was the worst. Logan's big mind had started to crack.

"He's The Worst Wolverine!"

His eyes closed, and instead of him fighting, Logan had started to cry. Even worse, his body decided that now would be the best time to finally regress and let loose. His bladder releasing itself infront of everyone in the room. The very action causing him to cry even more.

Though luckily or unluckily, Logan wakes up from the ever-present nightmare close to Wade.

Good news, it was a dream! Bad news he was soaked.

His eyes welled with tears looking down out of shame, causing Wade to snap into action.

"Shhhh, Shhh, Papa's right here, Wolvie!" Wade had hushed Logan, rubbing soothing circles into the little's back.

The comfort felt so good, but he couldn't accept it, Logan didn't deserve it he was the Worst Wolverine, He waa bad, he was dirty, he wasn't good.

Logan's tears fell harder as his words flew out of his mouth.

"No!"

He started his ramble while putting his hands weakly against Wade.

"I... I..... Mmmm' Bad"

He wailed, forcing Wade to hold him tight.

"Mmm, da worsee one. I bad, I can' be a baby"

He weakly admitted as he looked forlornly down.

"An I can' keep m'self dry. Bad babies can' have papas."

Wade held Logan tightly, ignoring the wetness he looked at Logan and uplifted him.

"I disagree. You're a good baby! You're my good innocent baby. "

(Weakly)Wade sat his heavy 300lbs toddler on his lap. Wiping tears from Logan's eyes he continued his speech

"You will always be my good baby! You'll never be bad in my eyes, you deserve to be happy and smile!"

He says as he kisses his forehead.

Logan's tears had dried as he looked at Wade, wanting to believe his Papa's words but still had that empty feeling he was wrong for wanting this.

"Bu-Bu,"

"No BUTS, no little of mine is gonna talk about themselves like that."

Wade says booping Logan on the nose.

"And I think it's time for me to get you cleaned up Wolvie."

Logan felt reserved and was about to protest until a suspiciously red and black paci found its way into his mouth. The paci quelling the negative thoughts he had Logan looked needily at Wade.

Wade looked at Logan, understanding the need for him. Having calmed down enough, Logan's mind had mellowed out to the idea of being with Wade, and though not entirely open to letting his little side drop, he resigned to let himself be taken care of. Just this once.

you don't even know how you made it back home. it's even more surprising you made it back safe and sound. you were too lost in the void that is your mind, thinking of your past, your future, things that have gone wrong, stuff that still needed to be done. the present, your current reality wasn't anywhere near your consciousness. the entire trip home, your surroundings were fuzzed, voices were muted, the world dimmed.

why must it be so hard to just live, to be an adult? why were you so incapable of adulting?

you stood at the door frame, just standing there. your bag had fallen from your shoulder, landing on your elbow. your eyes were glazed over. nothing mattered anymore. you were gone.

you heard something, perhaps the freezer ice cube maker going off or the a/c turning on. it was fizzy and soft, barely there.

you heard it again. this time it was louder. it was coming from only a few feet away from somewhere out there.

blurred black spots came into view. it shocked your core and made you blink, the puzzle pieces linking themselves together. the black spots turned out to be black, leather shoes. large ones.

"daddy?" you slowly looked up, making eye contact with Logan. you didn't even realize you were speaking. "daddy…" your lip quivered. one tear flew down, then another… and another. they came out faster and faster until you had niagara falls on your face.

"hey there, bub, come here, come here." your daddy pulled you against him. you grabbed his white button down in tight fists and made a puddle of tears on his left shoulder. "it's okay, kiddo. i'm here."

"i'msorryi'msosorrydaddy!" you bawled. "'m sorry…" you squeezed your eyes shut and buried yourself deep into his chest. you held him tightly, so tightly you thought you'd melt into him.

"it's alright, pumpkin. i'm not mad. it's okay, you're okay." he mumbled into the top of your head, planting kisses on your temples and forehead. "sh, sh, sh, sh, sh." he rubbed your back. "it's okay, darling. you're safe, i'll take care of ya. shh, shh, shh." he let you cry, you needed this, he knew.

logan bent his knees a bit to reach his arm underneath your knees. he cradled you in his arms and brought you to the grey, leather couch. you buried your head in his neck, breathing in the comforting smell of his sandalwood fragrance. you commented one time on how much you liked it and now he never went without it.

he gently scratched your scalp and continued placing smooshes to your brow. "what happened today, bub?" he asked once you calmed a bit.

"i don' know, daddy. i jus', jus… idonknow-" your breathing began to quicken again.

Logan shushed and bounced you on his lap. "it's okay, you don't have to talk about it right now, pumpkin. breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out, bub, there you go. good job." he dragged your designated, fluffy couch blanket on top of you and loaded up soft lullabies on spotify. he remembered fondly how you showed him the app and your favorite safe stuff on there. he didn't care about newer technology stuff but after you told him how much it helped you, he was determined to learn them.

you fell asleep on his lap after about an hour. your daddy fell asleep, too. your weight on him was soothing, as was your music. you were so peaceful, it made him nod off.

daddy would always be there for you to keep you safe, keep you happy, and to comfort you. he was the best daddy ever.

his go to nickname for you is 100% kid. even before he became your caregiver, he's whipping that name out on the regular

playing with and interacting with wild animals whenever it's possible. talking to a deer through the gates of the estate, petting a stray dog in a parking lot, making noises at cows as you drive past them

he does that thing where he stands in front of your seat and pats his leg and you have to raise your leg to rest it on his thigh so he can tie your shoes instead of kneeling down

learning everything you can about wolverines and logan has to tell you whether he shares certain traits with them, like an interview hehe

he diys your first ever paci because he refuses to ask for help and the beads randomly fall off until he eventually gives in and talks to the others about getting one

eggs are a go to food option when he's cooking - he makes a mean omelette

pointing at the hyenas at the zoo and going "papa!" and he just softly responds "not quite, kid."

You’ve been regressed all day. Yesterday was a busy, stressful, overwhelming day, and now you’re coping with the stress. Logan is by your side, caring for you as usual. You lay on the living room floor’s carpet, tummy pressed to the ground, legs kicking up in the air. You breathe contently as you carefully color the page Logan printed out for you.

You could hear him in the bathroom down the corridor near the stairs. He was carefully grooming his hair while humming a tune that sounded a little too familiar. A soft smile crept onto your lips once you recognized it, it was the sound of your favorite cartoon’s intro. “I know that song,” you chirp, gaining a soft chuckle from the man. “You sure do, kiddo. So much that you’ve got me hummin’ it myself,” he replied. He set down the comb before letting out a soft sigh. The sound of his boots slightly clacking against the hardwood floor made you turn your head and giggle out of excitement when you see him. “Kitty hair! Kitty hair,” you exclaim. “Not kitty hair,” he corrected while shaking his head.

“Kitty hair” is what you’d call Logan’s hair any time he had it brushed up like little animal ears. As much as he denied that they were meant to be ears to represent any animal, he never truly cared that you called it kitty hair. He found it pretty cute and grew fond of the term.

“Can I pretty please play with it,” you plead, clasping your hands together. Logan shrugs in response. “I dunno, bubs,” he drags out playfully. “Pretty please? I promise I’ll get that one spot behind your ears that you really like,” you add in an attempt to get him to accept your request. He looks down at you sweetly, hands on his hips, one eyebrow cocked. “I guess it wouldn’t hurt,” he groans dramatically, feigning annoyance. “But you gotta clean up all that arts and crafts stuff you got going on.”

Without hesitation, you nod in agreement. You start to clean up your crayons and coloring pages with haste. Within minutes, you’re done putting everything up, now sat on the couch waiting for Logan to come lay his head on your lap. You stretch your hands out to him grasping the air between you two. “Calm down, kiddo. I’m coming,” he assures you. He walks closer to you, leans down to press a kiss to your forehead, slips off his boots, and lays his head in your lap. He shifts a bit to get more comfortable by putting one leg on top of the other and crossing his arms against his chest. “There you go, bubs,” he hums with a deep exhale. You squeal with excitement as you gently begin to play with his hair. You run your fingers through the strands, scratch his scalp, and when you scratch behind his ears, you hear something. Purring. He always purrs when you play with his hair for long enough.

“You purr,” you exclaim with a giggle and a huge grin on your face. Logan sighs in return. He shakes his head in denial “You’ve got it all wrong, kid. I don’t purr. Wolverines don’t purr. You’re making things up,” he protests against your previous claim.

You felt his throat vibrate softly against one of your thighs and listened closely. As you told him, he was purring.

“You purr like a kitty, then,” you chirp back. Another deep sigh. He’s not even annoyed with your claim. He knows you’re right. He just doesn’t want to admit to his kiddo that he purrs. “I don’t purr. I didn’t purr,” he states firmly. “It’s not right to lie to your papa,” he said with a light-hearted chuckle. “But you did! I promise,” you pout to him. “I’ll prove it,” you say before beginning to scratch at his scalp again.

Sure as hell, he purrs. He grumbles softly to interrupt his purrs in protest. You know you’ve won once you hear a soft sigh fall from his lips as you scratch right behind his ears. More purring. “Guess you’re right, bubs,” he chuckles softly while closing his eyes. “Just keep scratching. It feels nice,” he adds with a smile creeping onto his lips.

Do you have any HCs for what makes baby Logan happy?

(For all the Whumps I make, I also love to see him happy!)

Food is a big one for him. Jimmy loves to eat anything. But he especially loves camdy and sweets. His Papa/Mama uses it to (bribe)reward him for anything good he does. Though he tends not to be picky with his food, his candy is a different story. He prefers blow pops, nerds(the chewy kind), gummy bears(he hates Haribos! He's an Albanese kind of boy), and pixie sticks.

Jimmy also loves animals! So, taking him to the zoo when he's regressed is a must! He also loves going on hikes with his Papa/Mama. He loves to talk to the animals. He also has shown interest in going to the aquarium but demands his hand be held through all of it.

He's a stuffie collector and squishmallow connoisseur. They're everywhere in his room, and yes, he does know their names by heart. He also likes to have mi i birthday parties for them when their squishdate comes up.

He loves going outside and exploring. He also loves getting dirty and rolling around in the mud. Hence why he always comes home dirty. His caregiver just resigns themselves to the cycle of him getting dirty and then fighting to clean him because seeing Logan smile after playing outside is worth it.

He has a small group of people he likes, whether secretly or not, and he is constantly with them. Charles, Ororo, and Wade have all been recipients of a particular worksheet that finds its way on the fridge or office wall. He also has Victor and Piotr as his big bros. Mainly because he can rough house with them(though Piotr is significantly gentler), and both can carry him.

He also loves affection and physical touch. "You're a good boy!"; "Good job, Jimmy!"; "You're such a brave boy!" and other phrases like them will make him gravitate toward his carer and smile that big toothy smile. He also loves to hug his Papa/Mama. He also loves to be picked up, but most caregivers can not do it, so he accepts it's not a possibility.

Jimmy's hyperfixation is also coloring! The boy loves to do it and he will draw pictures and yes they must be displayed for all to see!

His old man brain still can't understand technology. That being said, know that he loves to watch tv. His current favorite shows are Bluey, Spongebob, and Blue's Clues. His caregiver can put it on for him, and he will be a content baby for hours.

He may not love bedtime, but he loves bedtime stories. He loves fantasy and adventure books. His favorite book so far is Where the Wild Things Are. He just poves that book, and he will ask for it to be read to him.

⊗ superhero cartoons to watch when little!!! (or big, they're that good imo!!) ⊗

✧.* i've been wanting to make this list for a while now, mainly because i wanna talk about my fav cartoons/open up opportunities for other littles to find something awesome to watch!!! there's gonna be a lot of ranges in age ratings to add some variety for older/younger littles :)

✧.* also, i'd like to put a disclaimer here and say that a lot of these are on streaming services that i own, but other littles may not. i would also like to say that there are ways to get around a paywall if you can't afford certain streaming services!!! you can find full episodes on youtube/other sites for free!!! (just use an adblocker if you're on a site other than youtube if u can!!)

✧.* another disclaimer: any regressor of any age can watch any of these shows!! i just wanted to put the age ratings for those who want to stick to media that's more in their age range!! so, don't feel like you have to limit yourself from watching certain shows just because of how old you regress to!!

✧.* spectacular spider-man (2008-2009, 2 seasons): suitable for 7-8+, but i'd say it'd be okay for littles who regress younger to watch, too!! honestly, my all-time favorite spider-man cartoon!!! not only is it fun to watch while little, you can truly appreciate the show when you're big, too!!! josh keaton's voicework as spider-man is just- ahhhh it's so amazing imo!! the story is really good, the animation/style is just so iconic, and the colors are very easy on the eyes!!! (especially if you're sensitive to bright colors when little/in general) absolute banger of a theme song, too!!!

✧.* x-men: the animated series (1992-1997, 5 seasons): rated for around 7-8+, but i do admit that there can be some scary scenes for especially younger/more sensitive littles. honestly, this show is great!!! i loved all the different story arcs, how colorful the show is, the characters themselves- a lot of cool stuff about this show!!! be warned, there's a sudden drop in quality during season 5... i think they switched animation studios/va's or something because season 5 is NOT the best season of the show, i'll tell you that... 0_0

✧.* x-men '97 (2024-present, 1 season so far): rated for 14+, so this show is more suitable for teen regressors. it's a continuation of x-men:tas, and oh man... this is it. my favorite cartoon of all time!!! the animation is just oh so beautiful!!! the fight scenes are awesome!!! the soundtrack- oh golly the soundtrack!!! the remastered x-men:tas opening is just- wow!!! but, there's definitely reasons why it's rated 14+... not gonna spoil anything, but there's a lot of scenes in the show that can be upsetting for younger littles. trust me, watching some scenes when you're little is just- too much sometimes... (speaking from experience) it's an amazing show, but watch at ur own risk if you're a younger regressor!!!

✧.* batman: the animated series (1992-1995, 4 seasons): i'd say it's for around ages 9-10+, since it can be fairly dark at times. (same goes for a lot of batman related media!!) honestly, this show's pretty good!!! the style of the show is very dark visually, so it's easy on the eyes for those with bright color sensitivities!!! the artstyle itself is also very nice to look at!!! the voicework is amazing as well, especially kevin conroy's (rip) performance as batman himself!!! from what i can remember, the plotpoints were also pretty on-par!! i remember liking the show a lot when i was a kid!! :)

✧.* hulk vs. wolverine (not a show but an animated movie, 2009): this one's rated pg-13, since there's depictions of violence. but, i gotta say- this movie had me hyped up when i watched it as a kid!!! this was part of a straight to video two-movie collection, (the other being "hulk vs. thor") and i gotta say... this movie was awesome!!! the fight scenes were rad as heck, the animation was amazing, even deadpool was in the movie!!! (which, fun fact, was his first appearance in animation!!! other than the 2 second cameo in x-men:tas) very fun movie!!!

✧.* these are just some recommendations!!! i really liked these when i was a kid, and i hope you'll like them too, if you decide to watch them!!!

For years in the making, an after battle nap became routine. He couldn't just nap anywhere, though. It had to be on brown, leather couch in the x-mansion living space. The couch was old, worn, tattered, even blown up a few times. But damn if it didn't lead to the best sleep Logan's had in ages.

He wouldn't consider himself a light sleeper but something definitely triggered his consciousness. Shuffling, movement, soft mumbles. Someone was here.

He groaned and squinted his eyes open, tensing at the blurry figure next to him. He shifted away from it quickly. Who would even dare to- oh.

"Don't move, daddy, you'll mess up my artwork!" you whined.

He breathed a sigh of relief. Logan wasn't under attack. It was simply his sweet little bub kneeling beside the couch, holding his hand and painting red onto the nail of his pinky finger.

"Hey, bub." he muttered.

You turned to look at him with bright, sparkling eyes. You were so happy to see him. "Have a good nap, daddy?"

"You know it." he rumbled.

Your eyes shifted back to your task at hand. You brushed a bit more red onto his pinky finger, trying very hard not to get polish on his skin. Daddy wouldn't care but you knew you would care. It's got to be perfect for daddy!

"Whatcha doing?" he asked.

"Making daddy a pretty kitty." You picked up his limp hand and showed him your work so far. Logan didn't mind the nickname. He liked anything you gifted him.

However, he did quirk his brow at a certain implication. "Wait a minute, I thought you said I was already pretty?" A sliver of a smile poked through his serious facade. He can't actually be serious with you, you're way too cute for him to be all grumpy, wumpy. You've got him tied around your finger and he's a-okay with that.

"Wait but you are, daddy! You are! I'm just uhhhhh...." You looked around the room, aimlessly searching for an answer. "OH, I'm making you even prettier! The mostest prettier ever!"

The sliver of a smile turned into a full grin. He sat up and observed his now painted hand. "What colors did you use?" He wouldn't be your daddy if he didn't test your knowledge just a little bit.

"I used some red and pink and blue, oh and orange, and only a little yellow cause it's basically empty, see?" You turned the bottle upside down and shook it before tossing it to the side. "Do you like your nails, daddy?"

Logan lifted his hand, moving it this way and that. Up, down, left, right, sideways, up ways, down ways, more ways. You patiently waited for his approval with wide eyes. "Of course, I do, pumpkin. It's perfect."

You pulled him closer by his shirt, jutted your lip, lowered your brows, and squinted your eyes. With your other hand you pointed at him very sternly. It took everything in Logan to not coo at your cutely angry expression. Your face was scrunched, just like your daddy does sometimes. "Never take it off, daddy."

"Don't worry," he giggled. "I won't."

"What's happening here?" came a voice.

Mr. Butern... the professor of mutation genetics. When did he get here? "Turning into a pretty little princess, huh, Logan?" he scoffed and began to walk away.

Logan moved quickly and shoved the professor against the wall. His claws came out to play, pricking at the meanie's neck.

"Say another word and I will slice your fucking head off-"

"Daddy, that's a bad word!" you scolded.

Your daddy turned to face you. "Apologies, pumpkin." He turned back round. "Now, you tell my little one how good of a job they did."

The other guy stuttered, shaking so bad he must be a milkshake inside. "You d-did a good j-job."

Daddy dragged him to the tattered couch and shoved him down. "Sit your ass down."

Daddy's face immediately went from angry to mushy mush as he looked at you. "Bub, I think you should give him a makeover, too."

"Right on it, Dada!"

🌻 note: wolverine was actually my first ever fictional caregiver and i adore him so much, he's so dad coded.

having him as a caregiver consists of:

long night drives and road trips and eating at diners regularly

him saying no to the gumball machine but immediately folding when you get sad about it

bringing you to the gym with him but you're not allowed to touch any equipment

early morning walks around the mansions yard before going back to bed for another hour

begging for a puppy and while he says no, he comes home with a doggy plush to make up for it

he has one of those portable dvd players in his car, along with a case filled with your favourite movies and some of the movies he watched as a kid. he won't admit it but he loves hearing your giggles and the sound of the film in the background as he drives
