Agentcorp. After Lena finds out kara is supergirl she leaves. She leaves the company to Sam and sells her penthouse and cars and is just gone. No one knows where she is and no one can find her. But Alex doesn’t give up, she’s tracks and search’s and after like a year she finally finds her in some small beach town somewhere across the world. And when Alex see how happy lena is, she has to debate if she she should go to her or not. She wants Lena happy but she loves her so much. You choose ending

It surprises Alex, how much she feels Lena’s absence. In their joint work on the harun’el, she’d gotten used to having an unexpected friend in the building. She knows now that only happened because she’d erased her memory of Kara being Supergirl. Every prior instance she and Lena had shared a space, the secret had hung like a sword between them, just waiting to drop. Only in those scant, confusing months had Alex been able to be completely open with her.

Alex misses it.

It takes weeks for her to stop looking toward her lab expecting Lena to be there, hunched over a microscope. Every time she goes to the coffee stand she remembers Lena’s order. Occasionally she catches herself thinking what Lena might say, what looks they’d share when Brainy was being, well, Brainy.

But where Kara’s grief is loud and blatant and visible, Alex keeps hers close. Her sister is the one who lost her best friend, after all. Alex only lost… what? A coworker? An almost-friend? All she knows is that it’s easier to focus on comforting her sister’s loss than to examine her own.

So she listens to Kara mourn. She dries away Kara’s tears and plys her back into sister nights with enough pizza and potstickers that she can barely stand the taste of either. All the while, she mourns in her own way– namely, by using DEO resources to scour every video feed, uploaded picture, and internet post for any sign or mention of Lena Luthor.

When Lena’s name pops up on a land registry in Santorini, Alex doesn’t stop to think. One travel site search later, she’s on a plane headed across the Atlantic. Upon landing, reality sets back in. What the hell is she doing? Flying halfway across the globe on a whim to track down a woman who doesn’t want to be found? Who doesn’t want anything to do with her, or her family? Who likely now regards her only as the sister of enemy number one?

It’s so far from anything Alex has done before that she feels completely unhinged– yet she flags down a taxi anyway.

Winding through the streets of Santorini towards Lena’s address, Alex quickly understands why Lena chose this place. It’s far enough from the tourist center to be quiet, yet near enough to the sea that the sunset takes Alex’s breath away. Alex stares at itso long that she nearly loses track of their destination.

Just before her driver makes the final turn onto Lena’s street, Alex asks him to stop. She’ll walk the rest of the way. She knows she’s made the right decision the moment her boots crunch on the cobbled lane. She need the grounding, the chance to stretch the anxiety from her limbs.

Armed with nothing but the overnight bag on her shoulder, Alex finds Lena’s new home and pauses at the end of the walk. The white walls and blue shutters of the small cottage somehow feel more imposing than the Luthor mansion outside National City– creepy Lillian portrait and all. She swallows thickly, her heart pounding in anticipation.

Before she has a chance to steel herself enough to brave the short walk up to the door, the blue slab of wood unexpectedly opens. Lena herself steps out, a woven straw bag over her shoulder. Her hair is longer than Alex has last seen it, left straight and relaxed against her shoulders. When she turns, Alex discovers she’s foregone her trademark lipstick, and has instead gone natural to complement the golden tan that makes her skin glow.

Lena stops short at the sight of her. Behind her sunglasses Alex watches the woman’s gaze bounce somewhere behind Alex, before lifting briefly towards the sky. Belatedly, Alex realizes who she’s looking for.

“She’s not here,” Alex assures her.

Lena regards her without betraying a single emotion. “I have to say,” she says, “you’re the last person I expected to come find me.”

Lifting one shoulder in a shrug, Alex lets her head tilt to one side. “I’m full of surprises.”

Silence hangs between them for long moments. As each second passes, Alex’s sense of displacement eases, setting her back on solid ground. For the first time in a year, something akin to happiness sparks in her belly, and she knows it has everything to do with the woman standing before her.

Lena looks… relaxed. Peaceful. At ease with herself and the world.

Too late, it occurs that her arrival here could very well ruin all of that.

Removing her sunglasses, Alex shifts nervously on her feet. “Can we talk?”

For a long moment, Lena says nothing. She doesn’t move, only studies Alex with an inscrutable gaze. But then, just as Alex opens her mouth to apologize and leave, Lena turns around and opens the same blue door she’d just closed minutes before.

“Come on in.”

FIC UPDATES

Okay. So. I have so many ideas for fics and what I want to do with them, but we all know I have a habit of taking forever to finish stuff. But I have a plan to at least get me through a month or so worth of fic updates. I have a full week of work ahead (during which I'll have lots of downtime because I'm still training and they're slow to train me) and then a week off between Christmas and New Year's. During that time, I'm going to try and write at least a few chapters for my upcoming Bly Manor stories (sequel to the lesbian farmer AU and maybe one other new AU), hopefully get another chapter or two going for my jesslupe fic, and maybe, just maybe, bring myself back to the Supergirl fandom with a little AgentCorp treat (assuming that fandom still exists). That way, for the first month or two into the New Year, all I have to do is post stuff.

I need to be more structured with both my fic writing and my actual original work, so hopefully this will help me figure out how to do that. It'll be an interesting experiment!

so, in summary: Nothing new will be posted until after the New Year, but I'll be working on it until then in order to get ahead of it a little.

Hello AgentCorp Fans!

Our cabin is having a discussion about throwing another AgentCorp week in celebration of the last season of Supergirl.

Being that the season premieres pretty soon, it’s doubtful we’ll get this thing going before then, so we’ll have to come up with a date.  Probably the first week in April (TBD)

Also, most of us have a lot going on now, so we won’t be able to give the same love and attention that we did when we first launched the first ACW in 2020, but we all still love AgentCorp and we know there’s a bunch of you that enjoy them too, so, why not do a mini-event :)

i’m not saying it’s better, but it’s a different kind of ouch, an ouch of a different flavour if you will, so that might be fun. 

Rapidly, it goes like this, with Alex clinging tightly to her sister as they swoop down over the waterfront and through the massive sea door of the target warehouse. The space inside is dark and cavernous, echoing with the sounds of the water flowing in and out through the broken sea doors, lapping sullenly at the ramp that disappears up into the gloomy interior. It smells of rust and diesel and brine, and the faint glow of the city reflecting off the clouds and the ocean and through the high windows isn’t enough to cast more than a sliver of ruddy light against the massive stack of shipping containers that have been left there to rust. Kara swoops in high among the rafters and sets them down in the gantry, dropping silently onto the metal walkway, easing them down and wincing when the metal creaks under their weight. She gives Alex a moment to find her feet before she releases her, then points towards the smaller rooms nestled against the far wall, probably old offices or storage rooms.

“There are voices coming from over there,” she breathes into Alex’s ear, and now she’s said it, Alex can faintly hear them too.

“Can you see them?” Alex asks, her voice barely above a whisper, aware that any sound they make will echo endlessly in the vast space.

Kara shakes her head. “There’s too much metal in here, it’s making everything fuzzy. There’s at least five of them, though.”

“Okay. I’ll find Lena. You take care of the bad guys,” Alex murmurs, and Kara frowns at her for a moment but then nods.

“Be careful,” she cautions. “This building is old and not very stable. If I start bursting through walls to get to you, it’s gonna collapse.”

“I’ll keep that in mind. Stay safe.”

“You too,” Kara echoes, sweeping Alex into a quick, tight hug before she takes off, rapidly disappearing into the gloom.

Thanks for the ask, anon. I don't read a lot of Alex/Lena fics anymore, but I have something for you.

First: check out my AgentCorp tag. The best way (especially in the mobile app) is to click the tag below the text of this post, but if that doesn't work, here is a link. There is some fanart and lots of fic recs and shorter fics that I reblogged over the years.

I will eventually come back to AgentCorp in my Supergirl retrospective, but this might take a while.

In the meantime maybe try captured by potstickermaster (who is one of my favorite authors)

And of course StarvingLunatic who is a great and versatile author and has written several AgentCorp fics that you could check out, such as Addicted to the Thrill (a fic collection for AgentCorp week 2021) or More Than Enough (which I have not read so far).

I read Second Thoughts last year and I liked it a lot. It is a bit "non-traditional". It is Alpha/Beta/Omega and the best way to describe it is probably a partner swap A/B/O fic. It is very much focused on Alex and Lena and very well written. A/B/O is not for everyone, check the tags and warnings; there is no cheating and everything is consensual.

It is the first part of a series (with a satisfying, non-cliffhanger ending) and I haven't read the next part yet.

Quarantine Prompt Party 2.0!!

Mark your calendars! I wanna produce some fan content, but am low on inspiration lately, so my inbox will be open for prompts from 8am to 8pm EST on Sunday, May 31st.

This time there will be no cap on the number of prompts I'll accept, but as a result there will be no prediction on when the prompts will be filled or in what order. They'll be answered at the whim of the muse!

Kara flew off her window at the first sound of someone screaming, promising Alex she would try to be brief. Her sister just sighed taking the blanket the two of them were sharing moments before closer to her chest.

 

Her eyes closed unwittingly. She was tired, it was a rough week. She was still feeling Jeremiah's loss.

 

Someone knocked at the door making her frown, it was too late for visitors and Kara didn’t mention she was waiting for someone.

 

The redhead got up and looked through the peephole. A “huh” left her mouth and then she opened the door.

 

“Now that’s a surprise.”

 

Lena Luthor was standing on the other side, with just as much of a confused look as Alex.

 

“I could say the same. You’re not the Danvers I was expecting to see.”

 

“Well, what a shame then. I'm the Danvers you've got. Can I help you?”

 

“It depends, does your help includes exploding me for some reason?” Lena sort of snapped, but there was a small bit of a playfulness on her tone that made Alex think she wasn't there to fight.

 

Alex closed her eyes, however. Come on! It was one wrong move that wouldn't happen again. Lena really needed to get over it.

 

“I didn’t know we were making jokes about this now.”

 

“We are not.”

 

Alex sighed going back to the couch but left the door open. “Okay good, because I'm not in the mood for jokes anyway. What do you want really?”

 

Lena went inside and closed the door behind her. She put her purse on the coffee table and raised both her hands in a clear sign of redemption. “I come in peace."
