FBI Supervisory Special Agent Kurt Weller is a lot of things. 'Quick on the uptake' isn't always one of them.

This week, Kurt and his wife Jane were in for a surprise when a blast from Remi's past visited their home in the night. Cade seemed totally unsurprised to find Jane there, and told her to call her boyfriend into the room.

GOOD. He knows where we stand, Weller thought. "He's my huband now," Jane answered.

HELL YEAH we're married, Weller thought. All in all, it was a good start to the night for him. Unfortunately the news Cade had for them necessitated working with Jacob "every month is movember" Keaton, because somewhere between a downed plane and Roman's apparent penchant for classical music, you will find the CIA. They're sneaky like that! In the end, they were able to work out that a former CIA officer had gone rogue and was using escaped black site prisoners as backup to go after her old employer, and the team was narrowly able to save the day. But along the way, there was still plenty of room for confusion....

Cause: The spy boss was difficult to locate.

Did his confusion involve inanimate objects? NO. X

Will he get it together next week? We'll see.........

This week, Special Agent Tasha Zapata became Very Unpopular with her friends, when it came to light that she had been handling one Nigel Thornton aka "Robert Borden", and concealing the fact that he was alive despite him having taken a dump in poor Patterson's heart. That alone earned Thornton a wildly different reception from the one the last former Sandstorm terrorist received mere days ago, despite him similarly wanting to work with the FBI. It turned out his input was useful, and the team was able to track down and seize a large weapons cache that was to be used on New York City. But along the way, there was still plenty of room for confusion....

Cause: The terrorist was having a nice evening nap in his own easy chair, in the place they'd been told he had been living long and securely enough to have moved in his and all his mates' families.

Did his confusion involve inanimate objects? YES. ✓

Will he get it together next week? We'll see.........

SIOC Goss

I keep thinking about Blindspot fanfic about SIOC admin after spying Patty’s emails in the last ep. This might be partly because I currently live in my office (which I assure you, despite also being government work, is nothing like the NYO of the FBI).

I’m still curious who signs off on Jane’s and Rich’s consultant time sheets. What’s the SIOC breakroom refrigerator sitch? I feel like Jane would have those disgusting yogurt drinks that promote gut health and Rich has hard to find Asian sodas. Is there a Rules of the Breakroom posted on the refrigerator (I swear to god there is in my office)?

Somewhere is a fanfic from season 2 about SIOC interns. I need more of this in my life (that I have absolutely no time for).

Does anyone watch Agents of SHEILD and Blindspot?

We need Kurt Weller to take on more of Fitz’s “I feel like we’re skipping over the travelled through time and space thing too quickly”

Weller needs some “chased my wife across the globe for 18 months risking my life because of a $10million bounty, left my kid behind, and sent myself broke” type of recognition.
