I’m binge-watching Blindspot for the first time, it’s been on “My List” for a while. I started 3 days ago & just started season 2 (23 episodes a season!)

Some thoughts:

-I don’t think the 2 leads are the best actors but I’m hooked on the story line.

-Jaimie Alexander has an awesome haircut & I wish they’d invested in better wigs for the flashback episodes

-I’m loving all the BIPOC women in positions of power

-Damn did you really have to kill off the main Black woman lead in the first season? (Bonus: is she becoming typecast, wasn’t she FBI in some other series? Also, who knew she was British? Her American accent is a very specific regional one & damn good)

-these twists and turns are fixing me emotional whiplash!

-Rich DotCom is hilarious (“you were definitely invited, I’m kinda sweet on you too”, “the sex is surprisingly vanilla” made me laugh so loud I scared the cat)

-I can’t tell whether I ship Tasha/Remi or Tasha/Edgar (I’m not usually into m/f ships)

-I’m disturbed by Mayfair/Patterson ship (got too much of a surrogate mother/daughter vibe which makes it feel like incest)

-Mama Shepherd is HAWT.

-what’s Patterson’s first name

I’ve already accidentally spoiled myself by reading some of the Wikipedia page (I stopped myself from reading further). And I just spoiled myself by googling how to spell their last name.

I really want to read #FoundFamily fic (maybe even some good Tasha/Remi—especially with them sparring hubbahubba), but I don’t want to get spoiled. Any reccs that are appropriate for where I am in the series?

21 Days of Remi, Day 3 - Hide what you love.

I was trying to think of a way to refer to Remi-with-her-Jane-memories-back, and the only simple way seems to be a smushname. So I guess, if this turns out the way we’re theorising, the easiest way to refer to her would be...

Alice: pre-Shepherd orphanage child-turned-mini-soldier Remi: homicidal terrorist raised by Shepherd, reappearing at the very end of season 3 post-ZIP Jane: born in a bag in Times Square, has no memories of Alice or Remi to start, most likely will not make a reappearance unless in flashbacks after season 3′s finale Jamie: Remi with Jane’s memories (hopefully a softer, more Weller-friendly Remi) as season 4 goes on?

Not quite Jaime, but pronounced the same (unless you’re French).

I decided to put together a little edit for all of Jane’s names. I was kind of hoping that Remi’s meaning was a little more exciting, however from rheims was all i could find other than “oarsman”; which in my opinion is even worse.
