Often bought together- DO NOT SEPARATE (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
Aka- saw @alliedn drawing (on the left) and decided to create a version with my fairy queen oc and her royal guard 🐰💖
Her ocs on the left are Nicnevin (queen of the Autumn Fairy Court) and his royal guard Paladin.
Mine, on the right, are Mab (queen of the Spring Fairy Court) and her guard Agdon Longscarf (taken directly from the dnd manual The Wild beyond the Witchlight, which I am mastering rn).

Last night I was able to finally present my #dnd5e group with this intro to their fight with one Agdon Longscarf! Storyboard by me, I also sang most of it, though Aishia is voiced by her player, @fundz64 for the one line. Karaoke backing track from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F14v3tlm-8c Lyrics adapted from https://www.reddit.com/r/wildbeyondwitchlight/comments/tr9rv9/want_even_more_song_lyrics_for_agdon_longscarf/ by by u/alientonx. Also, here’s the handout of all 9 brigands, in full color. Agdon’s based on the illustration from the book (though redrawn by me), Esgar’s based on the “default harengon” art, and the rest are my designs.

TRANSCRIPT UNDER THE CUT!
[VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
Andy: ...And I'll be like, (as Torbek) uh, Torbek is now playing Agdon Longscarf, who is very much alive, well and healthy! Uh, don't ask anything about it.
(Torbek clears his throat)
Andy (as Torbek): Ready?
Twig: Yeah! I gotcha back!
(Twig, Gricko and Torbek begin snapping in sync)
Andy (as Torbek, to the tune of Jet Song):
When you're a hare, you're a hare all the way from your first cigarette to your last dyin' day!
When you're a hare, if the fur hits the fan, you've got brothers around, you're a family man!
You're never alone! You're never disconnected
Hmm-mm! You're home with your own
When company's expected, you're well protected!
Then you are set with the capital 'H'
which you'll never forget till' you're claimed by a witch
When you're a hare! You! Stay! A! HARE!
(Torbek clears his throat, returning to his usual rasp)
Andy (as Torbek): That was Torbek's other song!
(laughter)

To be entirely fair to the Krew, IN UNIVERSE, they actually get a lot of shit done within one day. I mean, the Krew got their quest, went to the Witchlight Carnival, entered Prismeer, saved Hootsie, and met back up with Torbek within a single day. Or how about dealing with the Mud Mephits, meeting Jingle Jangle, killing Agdon Longscarf, entering Downfall, performed the Hoppera and Electrum Chef, all within one day.
I mean, of course, in our universe all of that took place within about 30 or so episodes, because the players themselves get nothing done in each session, but the characters are quite efficient in their adventuring

Back when Kremy first joined Garou, he had to make a sacrifice to keep his job. Something that would tether Kremy to Garou for the rest of his life. On his back is a large scar that was carved into his scales Remy Garou’s seal and the Baron’s symbol below. It hurt like hell and bleed for weeks as it scarred over.
The only one that knows about it is Gideon of course, it’s not something that Kremy likes to talk openly about. So, when he got branded tbt Agdon Longscarf it brought back memories he tried so desperately to bury and hide. The pain in his back that lingers for weeks.
I love Kremy angst!
This is a true fact.
Ouchies.
I definitely think that is not outside the relam of possibilities. From what I know Garou is a ruthless man, though the idea that perhaps a magical rune was imprinted on Kremy's skin to make it so Garou always has eyes on him is also potentially interesting (and actually something I found quite compelling in I Like It When You Lie and I'm assuming it's sequel by Sweet_reaper, which is similar to this idea)
The inclusion of the Baron's symbol raises interesting questions that I've had about how much the Baron actually listens to Garou (or if Garou is just lying through his teeth and Kremy doesn't wanna find out), but that's for another day.
Though when I read the first statement, the idea of "making a sacrifice" in other ways is also interesting. Physical wounds are one possibility, but ridding himself of personal joys? Cutting off a finger? Killing a random person just to prove that he can? Or, in that case, ridding himself of all innocence he had remaining? Memories? The faces of loved ones? His name? His literal heart?
What is terrifying about the time Kremy worked for Garou is that at no point was he ever safe, even if he felt like it. He was always a puppet, and Garou made sure that he'd remember that you don't escape his claws easily.
And even in the feywild, he's not safe.

Today's Trinket Compilation is...
SONGBOOKS
A good/fun excuse to practice the writing half of these trinket pics, since they're mostly very similar images. Also has been a bit of a fun research project, trying to plumb canon mtg cards for mention of songs and lyrics. Can people recognize any songs mentioned in the descriptions?
Riverspan Songbook - A collection of tunes from the Alighieri Ol' Battleaxe Inn & Tavern. Drinking songs, folk tales, and murderballads.
Harper Songbook - Songs from the Forgotten Realms in one way or another. These are indeed all real songs from the games and movie.
Greyhawk Songbook - A reference to Valoa and 70's D&D stuff. Most of the tunes mentioned are the names of old modules.
Femeref Songbook - Mirage and Visions references led me down the rabbithole wherein I discovered there is indeed a whole properly written poem of "The Love Song of Night And Day" and it is indeed groovy.
Dwarven Songbook - Like... there were a lot of these in old mtg flavor text. That was a solidly fun discovery. Just some classical dwarfy rhymes about digging, drinking, and smashing orcs.
Bullywug Songbook - An excuse to get classy. The music in this is meant to have something of a baroque quality to it, with a little bit of grossness and violence given the bullywug court of Hither.
Sacred Songbook - Another Dominarian book full of hymnals and history. There are indeed a lot of cantos.
Witchlight Songbook - Probably written for the carnival calliope or the steam organ. Why yes the pipe organ version of a certain Cyndi Lauper song was stuck in my head for the circus part of the adventure.
Feywild Songbook - It is nice that the campaign itself comes with some, and this was an excuse to just keep the Agdon Longscarf theme written down and memorized.
Baldurian Songbook - Aaand an excuse to callback to the BG3 Decima I've been meaning to play with more. (Seriously Shadowheart and Laezel have been just a delight, and its fun roleplaying Decima, the sweet morally bankrupt cinnamon roll as the adult in the room.)

Early on in my current DnD campaign when we were still in a swamp we had a very memorable interaction with some Brigands. specifically Agdon longscarf...
Granted the interaction didn't go well...he was a asshole and our DM did a good job at making us hate the guy within seconds
His fate was sealed when he murdered our Escar
He was giant snail pack mule we found and made our friend, he was our best budy and his name was a pun.
RIP Escar Go, the best snail
