Do you have any ideas for Us and Them (characters) in the zombie au? 👀

(I apologize that it's taking me so long to answer these!!! I'm trying to work on getting a better work ethic...!!!) I think in Zombie Wrench, Scratch's assumptions that he makes about Us and Them in Episode 3 are a reality. All Agari seemed to have become drones that seek to consume others to expand the reach of the Hivemind. HOWEVER, I don't think they're entirely mindless. They still feel their love for each other: these feelings so strong that I think it led them to literally fuse into one VERY powerful being. They can still communicate to other Agari naturally, and other Races through music, but the fallout has led their personalities to significantly alter. They're always hungry... they'd do anything to make it stop... ooo how edgy.

Crazy OCs that are basically savory fruitcake [Rowan the tomato (He/him)] Hopped up on a fresh hit of AUDHD/hj He is very sweet, excitable, and creative. He has a... unique taste in food but cooks very well. He treats Aga like an equal. [Agari the mushroom (He/They)] Filled with anxiety 24/7 They are cautious and fidgety but caring. He has less cooking skill than Rowan but aims to make really delicious dishes. They are allergic to almost everything. He sees Rowan as an idol. Both teach kids how to maintain a nutritious diet and make allergy-friendly alternatives to typical dishes. [Adult supervision required.] Tagging as Dandy's world but take that with a grain of salt cuz idk if I'll make something else with them some day hehe, def inspired tho!!

That one bit where Shrike was playing a video game and Nobert kept poking his sides and belly, and Shrike flinched each time. Until eventually getting fed up with it, like any ticklish person would.

The part where Shrike starts messing around with plant an and Beebs tells him to stop because he’s gonna hurt it. To which Shrike shrugs it off by say that it’s just a dumb plant and won’t feel anything, Beebs, then towers over him and they share glares, then Beebs has petals on his face which make Shrike lose his glare and start laughing.

Beene and Shrike get abducted and tied up by endangered creatures called Lythops, Shrike, having been tied up a lot in past and future episodes, says that if this continues he might start to enjoy it. Then a high pitched voice, belonging to a crystal Lythop, tells its brothers that due to thinking Beebs and Shrike are a part of the “Striking Sun” operation, they must be an example of (what I assume) happens to people in said operation, however the Lythop doesn’t get to finish due to hearing Shrike trying to hold back laughter. When asked why he’s doing so, Shrike apologetically says that it’s because they’re lindo (cute in Spanish)

Shrike and Scratch are playing tug of war with a fanny pack filled with Terran trinkets that Scratch has, and Shrike, being a fan of “Terran cartoons” gets tries taking it and, albeit fails.

However in the outtake, Shrike laughs a little bit and THEN proceeds the tug of Fanny game (I’m never calling it that again…)

Agent K tells a hostage Shrike about how Kara has been very popular online due to someone as unstoppable as her being defeated by tape, to which he laughs at and mocks Kara about how embarrassing that is, to which she glares at him.

Agent K lists off many remarkable qualities of the Kara plushie then stops when noticing a.. certain addition to the plushie’s design (boobs), which makes him uncomfortable and instead turn the attention to the ears on the plushie, thus leading him to begin gushing over it and inevitably start baby talking and petting Kara, saying things such as

“Who’s a good murder kitten? Hehehe! You are! You are! Yehehes, you are!” Before Kara swipes her claws at him, which gets cut off by a “We’ll be right back” screen.

some manga i've read

I have a LOT of manga in my room, so I thought it would be cool to tell you about some of them!

Mr. Villain's Day Off

I first heard about this series when I saw its anime trailer on YouTube. Coincidentally, I found two books of the original manga in my local Barnes and Noble, so that's why I bought them! I like this series because it's a slice-of-life parody of the sentai genre, and I also appreciate the titular character's love of pandas! I even liked how each of the heroes had backstories.

Favorite Character: Mr. Villain

X-Gender

This book was a great pick because it discusses queer topics in a respectful and informative manner. It is an autobiography about the author's experiences with their gender and sexuality, and if you're wondering what "x-gender" means, it's a Japanese term for being nonbinary.

Favorite Character: N/A

Uramichi Oniisan

Oh my god. This series is HILARIOUS. All of the main characters have a dysfunctional, but harmonious dynamic when they work together on stage. Everything Uramichi does or says makes me cry and laugh at the same time.

Favorite Character: Uramichi Omota

Heaven's Design Team

This is another series that makes me laugh, and I've seen clips of the anime before getting my hands on the manga. It reminds me of those "God creating animals" memes that were popular on Twitter back in the 2010's. It's peak edutainment, and each character has a very eccentric personality!

Favorite Characters: Venus and Yokota

Kirby Manga Mania

I decided to give this one a try, because who doesn't love Kirby? The art style is bubbly and bright, and the humor goes off the walls! I find it weird how Kirby talks normally instead of going "poyo poyo" all the time.

Favorite Characters: Kirby and King Dedede

Precarious Woman Executive Miss Black General

Yeezus, that's a long title. I picked this one out because I thought the art style looked cool. It's a story about a villainess with a crush on Totally-Not-Batman. I enjoyed the slapstick and the amazing character design.

Cells at Work!

Here's another edutainment anime. The depictions of each microorganism are really cool, and I liked the scenes where the cells had to fight off against nasty viruses! It even does a good job at explaining how the body works by providing bits and bobs of information throughout the panels.

Little Miss P

I've never seen a manga that talks about periods before, and I'm glad it exists. This book is relatable because I hate it when my period arrives, but I understand getting your period is normal. I'm quite fond of the messy art style, too.

Merman in My Tub

I remember cheerily reblogging and liking posts about it last year, and I still love it to this day! All of the characters have vibrant personalities, and I really like the designs of each merman. This series is light-hearted and goofy, so that's why I think it's awesome.

I'm gonna make two more parts later on. The second one will be about cats, and the third one will be about horror.

anyway, take a closer look at all that green. now, where have we seen that sort of green cracking before?

we also see that the other darts are not tipped with that suspicious green. and jawbone tips his by licking them. see:

which means he probably has some form of the cataclysm in his body. ALSO. as ive mentioned before the episode title is “plague walker” and. the cataclysm is a bit akin to a plague, dont you think? since the cataclysm turned the agari into mindless drone things, im assuming its some sort of zombie infection type of deal? and maybe hes only partially “infected” with the cataclysm.

THAT OR!!! we know that it has been almost 800 years since the cataclysm (granted. galactic years, and i dont think a true length of them has ever really been confirmed?? but they are YEARS so it has to have been a very long time) maybe theres folks who are like, half infected due to a parent being infected with it? and maybe this is the case for jawbone.

ANOTHER POSSIBILITY: fucked around and found out maybe?? and/or purposely found a way to use it as a weapon. we know he has a bounty on his head, so it could be the latter!! then again L.A.W. enforcement are the ones containing the corruption so it could also be the former.

i might think of more later, and if i do ill make an update!

I walk up a path going uphill about four meters. There is a large tree overhead, and my body suddenly feels cold. Tsubaki(s) are blooming in a dark place on the opposite bank. The leaves of Tsubaki are so dark green that they don't look bright in daylight or in the sun and are not lighthearted. These Tsubaki(s) in particular are located four to six meters back from the rocky shore, quietly growing clumped together in a place where one wouldn't notice what is there if not for the flowers.

The flowers! there are so many that I could count them all day long and never finish. But they are so colorful that I can't help but count them when I see them. However, it's just vivid, not the least bit jolly. For a moment it appears as if flames have flared up, attracting attention, but then they become eerie. There is no flower more deceptive. Whenever I see Miyamatsubaki, always associate a beautiful, bewitching woman. With her black eyes, she attracts people and puts a sweet, gentle poison in their veins without their knowledge. By the time they realize that they have been deceived, it's too late. When the flowers on the other side came into view, I thought, Oh, I shouldn't have looked. The description to the mysterious flowers of Tsubaki blooming in the dark forest still continues after that. Incidentally, there is no species named 深山椿. 深山[Miyama] means deep mountain.

Hello! Good morning, afternoon or evening depending on when you are reading this.

Seeing your Monkey Wrench zombie AU made me wonder: between Shrike and Bulldog/Beebs, who is the one who handles himself better in terms of being under stress in a tense and serious situation? And above all, how were the opinions of the two of them regarding the virus between when it began with the first cases of infection until today when, well, apparently they have already gotten used to this environment of survival? If there was any change in their opinions regarding this whole situation in the galaxy, of course

1) I think in tense situations Beebs definitely handles his stress a lot better. Shrike tries his best, but when things get life-threatening he becomes a mess. He's capable of defending himself of course! And he knows what he's doing! But I think sometimes he doubts his own capabilities. :(

2) I'm trying to align with the canon of the show, and the virus starting appearing shortly after the Cataclysm event, and the infected Agari began to spread it throughout the Galaxy. I think at the point it breached containment, and L.A.W became unresponsive, Shrike didn't believe it at first, while Beebs was more concerned.

3) I think Shrike didn't take it very seriously until the incident with Tyneen. (I did a little comic about it in a previous post!!) And after that, he set aside his interest in Terran stuff out of disdain for the destruction they caused. As for adapting? I think they're doing fine... but it could be better.

4) And Beebs is pretty disappointed in L.A.W for their disappearance, arguably maybe even angry with them. I think after losing his eye he became less willing to goof off and have fun like he used to. He's a lot more serious now.
