Reading the silmarillion for me was like: thingol and beren and luthien were horrible, horrible people, how can someone possibly like them? (LOL if you use this kind of word against the feanorians I can use it to describe the characters that you support. Happy, huh?) Probably someone's going to call me a feanorian apologist or something, and I oppose it. Like what do you mean by "apologist"? There actions were not wrong, and actually admirable, so there's completely no possibility for me to be an apologist.

Asking for someone else's creation as your own daughter's bride-price is just simply ridiculous and foolish. Regardless of how fucking pretty your daughter is. It is even more bitchy trying to emphasize how much effort b&l put into this whole thing in order to steal the silmaril.

The entire set of blame that Celegorm and Curufin received in N was just simply moral kidnapping. They did not have connections to beren. They had no responsibility of supporting the whole foolish bride-price thing or the childish stupid mary-sue love story between b&l. They raised their fair points that first of all, the silmaril was created by their father and belong to their family. Second, lauching an attack on morgoth at that time was not practical and stupid. (And there's no possibility that they know about the whole "pretty L is actually JRRT's wife so you know what she can achieve everything" thing.) These are their reasons opposing the whole bride-price practice, and standing in their shoes these reasons were very true and convincing.

Celegorm and Curufin's points might not be politically correct, I can even imagine a bitchy voice nagging "oh you sooooo bad~ how can you not support the looooooove story of b&l? how can you not just allow them to get your father's creation and satisfy their bossy father-in-law? ooooooooh you sooooooo bad." Literally these are the blames that they received. In my eyes, these are completely wrong and even laughable. I feel that C&C's courage of standing up against this foolish mary-sue story is extremely admirable and their actiosn are absolutely right. Sometimes we just need to jump out of those stereotypes fed into our mouths and form our own, independent thoughts.

ok okay i neeeeed o write this down and share it before i explode buT. as the title says. twins danny and dan (who im going to be calling James/Jamie bc i cannot express how much i despise the name dan) where, instead of disappearing into the ghost zone after he's separated from danny's body, Dan rips out Vlad's ghost half, tears THAT in half, and fuses one half with himself and the other with Danny.

Shit happens, and BOOM. Two morally ambiguous and perhaps slightly murderous demonic twins from hell. Daniel James Fenton and his Twin WHose Always Been Here What Are You Talking About :) James Daniel Fenton. They are both depressed, lonely, and one bad day from becoming a mass extinction event :)

this is because i got grabbed by the hair today and dragged into the SVSS fandom screaming and the fanart of Shen Jiu/Shen Yuan/Shen Quingqiu (????) with his fan entranced me. Ice Prince Core is my favorite thing so naturally i have to implant that onto my favorite blorbos ever :)

After the Incident, both their appearances changed and they're practically identical to each other. Sorta. They both have heterochromia and salt-and-pepper hair. But Danny has one green eye and one blue eye and white hair with black streaks, while Jamie has one blue eye and one green eye and black hair with white streaks. I'm iving them both long hair, for funsies <3

nobody can tell them apart, they keep getting confused on whose who and frankly the mix-match hair and eyes make it worse not better asjd. they're horrifically codependent. please do not separate :)

and because i must. im pulling a blood blossom/tales of the passerine and giving them to pre-robin batman. batman and his terrifying demon(??) twins. nobody is quite sure if they're human or not, and the scourge of gotham are a little too terrified to ask.

(they dont HAVE to go to batman while he's pre-robin. however. i think its much funnier that way bc gotham isn't use to A) Batman having kids, and B) Batman having TERRIFYING kids yet. think of all the new fun rumors)

they both use war fans while they're out, and neither of them use their ghost forms because they at least have the remaining empathy to know that they're more likely to murder someone accidentally as a ghost :). Ghost form is for fellow mythicals and Functionally Immortals Only! Not for Squishy Humans.

It's so clear that Orbo doesn't hate Scarab, I firmly believe he gets fed up because Scarab refuses to look outside of his own point of view and any attempt to bigger the picture with him falls on deaf ears, that he's more likely to listen under threats rather than just words he obviously doesn't care for.

(I DON'T AGREE with threatening or actually tearing his legs off, but it's to consider ORBO'S POTENTIAL POV. I feel that's more likely than him just being a huge asshole who hates him for some bs reason)

can i just say. and this is probably a niche hill to die on. that i am so gobsmacked every time someone vaguely hints at the idea that jotaro doesn't care meaningfully for the other crusaders, usually particularly kakyoin and joseph, when those two actually tend to be the ones he reacts to being hurt the hardest

like he cares for his loved ones!!!! that literally plays into his character motives in every single part he shows up in!!! stop lying to me!!!!!!!

against more misunderstandings

All the victim-blaming of people harmed by the entire thingol-greed and dior-greed thing, is one of the ugliest things about this fandom. It created a sort of alternate reality that’s imposed on new entrants. Things that are nonexistent in canon are spoken of as if they’re just fact, to the point that people can absorb them as defaults.

Wanting to keep something that was not created by you (and you know that was created by others) is just a horrible, horrible behavior, period. People taking it for granted that "oh it seems ok for b&l to have a silmaril as a bride-price and let thingol keep it and it is not ok for C&C to take actions and oppose this" is the ugliest thing in this fandom.

And these days people wildly exaggerate things...the whole doriath thing is just super straightforward: The Feanorians claim the silmaril, dior refuses to return it, they disagree with each other, diplomacy fail, war begins. That's all. In my perspective war is just super natural, and it happens in our human world every day. Haven't seen things like the US civil war? Like the US independence war? Like the war between Britain and France? Come on you need not ruthlessly blame them on fighting. People die in war? It's more than natural. Ever heard of no one dying in a war? People die on both sides. And blaming the feanorians for this is the most disgusting thing I've seen in this fandom ever. Their quest was extremely normal and reasonable. It was dior and his grandpa who was not reasonable at all. Stop making up those so called miserable things and use them to blame the feanorians. There's nothing wrong in taking military actions when another country refuse to return your national treasure and relic and important strategic resource.

in the sheep, he was relied on but not fully trusted as leader. it was a job he had to take for no one else could.

in the port mafia, meanwhile, he didn't have to rise the ranks as he did. he need not be relied on but the members trust him, would follow him as leader should mori die.
