the pitch does assume you're basically already into mcrp and just curious about lifesteal in specific BUT we went to dsmp together so this works out
I really love shitty little tryhards causing problems via impressive feats of minecraft, and lifesteal is full of those. if you like people being good at minecraft, I really recommend lifesteal--in s2, clownpierce was top 50 worldwide at crystal pvp, and now he's washed and in s6 there are 2-3 (depending on who you ask) lifestealers who are better than him at pvp (admittedly maybe not at crystal); in s4, there's some stuff that's impressive in ~vanilla (eg parrot wins a 1v1 while on one heart) and some stuff that's impressive through exploits/social stuff (eg a group of people use a glitch + social engineering to get /op and prove to mojang that the glitch is a security issue that needs patched). every season is like this! lifestealers have backdoored the server 3 seasons in a row (s3-5). for a more recent weird Lifestealer Behavior, rekrap and jumper filled in every end portal room and built new fake ones to make it look like the world glitched and generated without them. lifesteal is weird and constantly coming up with new weird yet impressive things to do. a lot of stuff that's currently banned on lifesteal (F3+A, pie ray) are things i only learned were possible from lifesteal. (on the flip side i'd say: if you are not into shitty little tryhards making weird impressive clickbait, you probably won't like lifesteal, although you may still like hearing about it from time to time.)
related to them being shitty little tryhards causing problems: the rules are...more of a suggestion. getting around the rules, and hiding from the server owner and/or other players that you're doing so, is often part of the fun of lifesteal! (see also the thing where i mentioned that it's been backdoored three seasons in a row.) if that's intriguing: check it out. if not: once again, you have been warned.
lifesteal absolutely has lore and some people roleplay on it, there is nonzero c/cc divide, but it's more like traffic life than, say, late dsmp--it's fully improv, not scripted, and even more than traffic life it is genuinely adversarial. you can sometimes be confident that someone is in character but you can never be sure if someone is out of character, on lifesteal-- things like "going to someone's house irl to turn off their computer" or "lying about your homework/school/sleep schedule" or "changing your entire discord layout so that when you DM someone they think you're someone else" or "claiming you need their footage of an event for your video when actually you just want to see where their spawn point is" are all things that have been done on lifesteal that are considered fair game! everything on lifesteal is real; sometimes this goes well, sometimes it doesn't, but both are interesting to see imo because they are real
partially for this reason and partially for other reasons, lifesteal is fascinating to me as a piece of unique storytelling? a lot of mcyt is doing interesting things with its medium and being improv, lifesteal's not fully unique in that, but definitely if you like that you might like lifesteal. along with the improv, there's the fact that many lifestealers lie about what actually happened in their videos (comparing different videos with the vods, or in some cases with "what people say in various vods" when events weren't streamed, gives some fascinating insights imo--how do people frame their stories? how honest are they? what do they blatantly lie about, what do they gloss over or omit, what do they include in full? who, if anyone, do they see as the heroes or villains? whose videos agree with each other, and whose present a totally different story?), and the fact that conflict about "where do we want the story to go next, what do we think would be an interesting video/the best ending" is often the driving motive for in-character wars and conflicts! if you're interested at all in lifesteal and storytelling, check out barrier blocks part 2 by @mering/@myrmica, which is a deep dive on eclipse federation and the end of lifesteal s4 (those are my special guys); it dips into some academic game studies and it's really, really good. i genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough. (part one is also real good for non-lifesteal-specific discussion of mcrp!)

The anon...thank God I'm not the only stacy enjoyer lol. That said, I love the idea that cuddy knowing stacy before house knew her and introducing them to eachother. And stacy×house finding time to makeout with eachother is nearly canon(there is an original script of "honeymoon" which said they had sex in MRI machine and she lost her cross only for house to replace it)
And more about pre-infarction content: Do you think house had fellows he was close to like our ducklings#1 and #2? I always thought if he was this close to his team at a time when he was shutting off everyone, he must've had closer bonds in his sociable days. Also, stacy said her first date with house was a disaster. What happened there and what did house do to make her love him within a week? And what was their relationship even like(we got so little content as them as a couple)
And hilson content: Was their relationship always this invasive and messed up(affectionate)or were they more........normal(or as normal as hilson could get)? Did they used to spend their free time doing physical activities like golfing or was wilson lazy for that? Did wilson used to put house on a pedestal as an infallible figure since he was a genius doctor who is actually happy?

aaaahhhhh good morning thank u for the ask, so many good questions!! This is rly long so I'm going to put my response under the cut.
I'm glad there are other stacy enjoyers too. as much as I think house did the right thing by denying stacy and not trying their relationship again, part of me would have loved to see the disaster of their relationship play out all over again. none of the trauma of season's 3-5 would've been needed, the guy would've ended up in a psych ward, prison, or dead if stacy left him a second time (bc let's be real, their relationship would've fallen apart and she would've left again, it never would've worked long term even if they gave it a genuine shot. what they had was just too broken to fix.) but in their heyday, house and stacy were 100% going at it all over the place. they have such insane sexual chemistry, even when they're broken up. plus, stacy is more aware than anyone of just how much they can legally get away with at work and how to not get caught alfjalfk.
as for house's fellows pre-infarction, I always wonder the same thing!! bc you'd think if he had an old team he was close to before, they would come up at some point in time, right? but I almost think it's the opposite of what you said— I think prior to the infarction, house had enough close relationships in his life that he didn't feel the need to kind of imprint onto his team the way he does in the show. so he may have had a team, but he wasn't particularly close to them outside of work. I also feel like smth was said at one point in time about house being unable to keep a team back then? I could be wrong, but I feel like I remember him and cuddy having a conversation about it in the beginning of s4 and house says smth along the lines of how he didn't used to need a team and cuddy responded smth abt how he always needed one, he was just unable to keep a team employed until we got the og s1 ducks.
the thing about house is that he is a disaster, but he's so damn charming that him being a disaster is almost a part of his charm. we see ppl fall for house again and again despite the way he becomes more destructive and unhinged every season (cameron falling for him even through watching him come to terms with being an addict, cuddy falling for him despite everything she witnessed and dealt with bc of him, even lydia falling for him while in a mental hospital. the guy has so much accidental game it's crazy) I think stacy fell for the same thing as the rest did, that softness and charm and whimsy that hides under the rough exterior. when house loves someone and actually tries to show it, it always comes across as very sweet and genuine. I wish we got to see more of their relationship bc it seems like they had such a fun and loving relationship. stacy loved him so much that she was willing to be hated by him just so he would live, it's so incredibly heartbreaking to be loved so much and yet resent the person who loves you. I think had house been willing to get the help he needed after the infarction, they likely could've worked things out.
I firmly believe house and wilson have always been incredibly Weird and Not Normal about each other. wilson was married to bonnie long before the infarction and she even talks abt how wilson was always there when house needed him and spent all his time with him. (sidenote that I can get into separately if you want me to expand on it, I think house was an addict before the vicodin and that's part of the reason he always needed wilson.)
they were both extremely active people prior to the infarction and I think about this all the time. wilson was a college tennis player and house was a cheerleader/runner. I love the story they tell in s8 where they went on a 30+ mile long hike together and the only thing wilson ate the entire time was the creamy filling out of oreos. that was such a special trip for them that house alludes to it almost 20 years later and wilson knows immediately what he's talking about at the very sight of oreos. I always think about how they lost that part of their friendship bc of the infarction and honestly I think it's part of why house seems to demand so much of wilson's attention. prior to the infarction, house could invite wilson on a hike and spend all day and night alone with him out in the woods, cell phones weren't even rly a thing back then. they could go golfing together, they could go for a run. house had so many excuses back then to have wilson alone, but he couldn't use them after the infarction, so if he wants wilson alone, he has to either ask for it (honest and vulnerable? no thank u) or manipulate him into it (his go-to move).
I like the question about wilson putting house on a pedestal and I'm going to say yes and no. I could see it in the very beginning with wilson being so young and naive and emotionally in need of love and support, and then you have house kind of playing this knight in shining armor, older and wiser and insanely smart, smarter than anyone else he's ever met. in the very beginning, maybe wilson started building up the pedestal, but I think house being the person he is, tore the pedestal down before wilson could ever truly put him there. I don't think it took long for wilson to realize what a human disaster house is, but that didn't turn him off, if anything it made wilson like him even more bc the disaster felt familiar (I have so many thoughts abt wilson's chaotic childhood). plus, I don't think house would've respected wilson if he put him in a pedestal. wilson keeps him grounded, keeps his feet on the ground ("I was worried your wings would melt") he is one of the few people who can disrespect house and house will take it (and feel like he deserves it).

compared to their canon counterparts, did houseswapped! fall in love hard and quick? and was cameron more or less in denial about her feelings?
Yes and yes.
There's a few differences inherent to the AU. We've talked before about how Chase is different, even before his accident: he's starting in his late thirties, not late twenties; he never had House and Diagnostics and a place/mentor he was really attached to, felt like he fit in and would do anything to stay in. He's lonelier, more isolated: he never had his later friendships with 13 or Park or his friendship with Cameron (and a lesser extent Foreman).
And a lot of this applies to Cameron, too. Her career has been a success, but… she's also a decade older, right? She didn't have House and Diagnostics to thrive in/learn from/fixate on. We don't talk about her character development enough, but Cameron changes a lot from her time in Diagnostics, she leaves a much more confident, assured person. She's really cheerful in S4-5 in a way she wasn't often in S1-2, where she was more pensive and overly-serious. I don't think in this AU she'd be as isolated and lonely as Chase, because Cameron actually is good at connecting to others; I think she has friends in the ER and maybe dated TB guy for a while and is great at pretending to be well adjusted… but she doesn't have that confidence in herself and her convictions. Cameron's also… kind of a person who wants relationships, who defines herself pretty heavily through love and men and romance, for good or ill. In this AU, she's gone through her thirties alone. Her husband's been dead fifteen years at least. She can't cling to him as an excuse the way she did when she was barely thirty. She also can't cling to her love of House as something selfless and real and as a substitute for an actual relationship.
In the AU, She and Chase were colleagues in the sense that they knew one another and worked in the same hospital, but they didn't have that kind of overlap or years of friendship/working together/seeing one another every single day, either. There's no let's be FWB because it's convenient: when they started their relationship, it was always a relationship. I think he asked her out because Chase has no problems doing that, and Cameron agreed because she's lonely and not fixated on anyone else and can always ghost him after the date if it sucked, and it didn't suck, and so… they did it again. There was no meth sex or fwb denial or anything; they were dating. Cameron didn't have a chance to play relationship chicken. There was no wanting more/not wanting to admit feelings. It was always a relationship.
Chase probably still did his Chase thing and fell harder and faster because he's even more starved for intimacy and affection, and Cameron… I think she kind of got off on that a little. She got to have the emotional control of the relationship, to be the more experienced one, getting all the benefits of being adored without having to be completely vulnerable in return. Which isn't to say she didn't care, or was a bad girlfriend, but she's still going to be reserved and afraid and the extra time and loneliness makes it worse, because how can this be happening now? Can it really last?
But it was their honeymoon period, any problems (Chase's inability to open up when things bother him, as another example) are easily overlooked, it hasn't been that long… and then the accident happened. Their divorce was bad enough in canon, and that's with them knowing one another and their flaws inside and out. Cameron and Chase's biggest problem was always that they have wildly opposite reactions to difficult situations — she runs, he feels rejected and gives up; he shuts her out, she feels rejected and gives up — and now compound it with them just learning these things. Cameron doesn't know why Chase won't talk to her anymore. Chase is only now learning about her savior complex and maybe even the details of her dead husband. It was messy.

aggretsuko s5 was the best and the worst at the same time, and here's why.
so, the last season of aggretsuko is here, huh. it's one of my favorite shows ever and i just really want to discuss all that happened in s5 with someone. it's totally okay if you disagree with some of the stuff below, i'd love to hear your views and opinions!
so, obviously, it wasn't perfect. it was fun, but it had some issues. luckily it was better than s4 and had some really good moments, but the 2nd half of the season was a big misunderstanding. i decided to make a list out of all the stuff that bothers me:
retsuko literally got forced into politics. saying she's a people pleaser is not enough to justify it. i'm not saying "you can't do politics in aggretsuko", i'm saying that it would be better if she went "maybe i can make lives of regular office workers like me better?". and what was the politics arc for, anyway? there was no point but if you have to do it then just don't force her into that? give her a reason that would make her go "maybe it's not that bad of an idea".
why were retsuko and haida always going to a grocery store that was far away? plot hole! you see, after the stalker incident in s3 retsuko moved and i remember haida literally saying something along the lines of "the shop below keeps it safe and light at night". in additon, the building retsy lives in was shown several times and there really is a shop below her house.
remember when retsuko dreamed of being a lil blushy bride with a big smile in a beautiful dress all the way back in season 1? it was important for her, it was her dream. and in the end, haida and retsy just went with the civil marriage thing and? why?? honestly, why...
one of the biggest issues is obviously the fact that we didn't get enough about retsuko's and haida's relationship. since when were they even together?? i might've missed this part, but my point still stands - we really didn't enough about them. 5 seasons of waiting and this is what we get?? i just didn't get the feeling that haida and retsuko are actually happy and in love with each other, so them getting married so suddenly was a big suprise to me. and it's not like there weren't any opportunities for them to show affection to one another! i'm not saying they should act lovey dovey all of the time, but take for example retsuko's visit in haida's house. when they went out for a walk to the garden, he could say something like "i know it's hard, but deal with them just for today, okay?" or "sorry that i'm making you go through this. you really shouldn't have went here with me." stuff like that is what would make it feel a bit more like a real relationship and this exactly what their relationship lacks.
in the end we didn't get a single bit of info abt whether haida have found a job or not. he was supossed to get into IT and? after visiting retsuko's parents it was never mentioned again?? did netflix really just forget about it?
this isn't really an issue, but i still wonder who have hit haida with that truck. his brother said that he didn't do it but how did he even know that happened? not like haida would've told him about that considering their relationship... is, yknow.
and now, to the good stuff!! i have to admit, the 1st half of s5 was good, great even. those honestly were the best aggretsuko eps after the stalker incident in s3.

Remember the fact that the whole idea of this guide is absurd and pointless? And yet, I feel like if every season was like this one, it actually makes sense. So here we go, with a season that actually could warrant something like this. S21E1 White People Renovating Houses is CANON
Eric and Heidi break up and we get subjected to the main theme of the season, which is about toxic relationships. S21E2 Put it Down is CANON
This one is important in that it actually moves three separate plotlines. Eric and Heidi's relationship (right after breaking up they got together again), Craig and Tweek's relationship (shown in a different light than earlier) and Herbert Garrison's presidency. S21E3 Holiday Special is FILLER
Randy was a fan of Columbus and now he is ashamed of it. We never see anything related to this and neither does this relate to the rest of the season. S21E4 Franchise Prequel is LORE
This is a prequel to the video game, Fractured but Whole, it provides some backstory. The Fractured but Whole is LORE
And I have an important announcement, @skittering-roach was right, when I did the season 12 post I didn't think about how the episode S12E3 Major Boobage is essential for this game. If the New Kid wasn't such a canonicity questioning presence, I'd probably pass these two off as canon, since Mr. Adams from S15E14 becomes the step-father of Mike Makowski and Bradley returns from and shares details of his home planet. And I'm pretty sure both these events are fully intended to be canon. S21E5 Hummels & Heroin is FILLER
Josh Gad guest appears just so we see Marvin Marsh in the nursing home. S21E6 Sons A Witches is CANON
Heidi and Eric are in the center and Eric wants to murder Heidi for the first time, which sets off Kyle's alarms about this whole thing. The President also longs for his time spent with the guys in South Park. S21E7 Doubling Down is CANON
Kyle inserts himself in Heidi's life, but in the end Heidi stays with Eric, however the price for this is giving up everything she previously stood for. The Member Berries return and continue to help Herbert with the presidency. S21E8 Moss Piglets is CANON
Heidi changes. That's the main event, however Nathan and Mimsy also get a story just to make sure that the inclusion of their plotlines was necessary. S21E9 SUPER HARD PCness is CANON
South Park elementary gets a new, permanent vice principal, Strong Woman. This episode is also a sequel to the movie, and Kyle is no longer a fan of Terrance & Phillip. S21E10 Splatty Tomato is CANON
The first episode with a major spotlight on the White family. Strong Woman sleeps with her boss - one thing that will have major consequences - and Heidi finally leaves Eric for good.

Why must you hurt me in this way.
Trevor: 7/10. A cliché personality, but enjoyable enough, and with a nice mini arc in S1. Too bad he was turned from protagonist to silly comic relief by S2.
Sypha: 5/10. She's supposed to be the plucky innocent girl, but she's just too rude and insensitive, and not even by design.
Alucard: 1/10. A cunt with a bad boob job.
Dracula: 9/10 in S1, 5/10 in S2. He started out so well in the first episode, being actually the grief-stricken monster he was supposed to be... and then he became a Stupid Old Depressed Man for the sake of propping up Carmilla. bruh.
Lisa: 4/10. Way less likeable than she appears. She's condescending towards the peasants she supposedly wants to help and she doesn't give a single shit about her only son, even preferring to let him grieve the death of his parents.
Hector: 8/10 in S2, 5/10 in S3, 2/10 in S4. Started out as a promising character with an unique worldview and genuinely morally grey. Became nothing more than a punching bag for Ellis, losing his personality and dignity in one fell swoop. Will always be remembered as the dude who fell for vampire pussy. The way he was written in S4, which was supposed to "fix" him, makes me want to destroy a house by punching it.
Isaac: 2/10. He gains some points by being the only character with a coherent character arc, even if rushed like hell. But he's still a pretentious prick who got unfairly sucked off by the story and nowhere near as "deep" as his fans tout - he was just lucky to be the only character written with respect in the shitstorm that was S3.
Carmilla: 3/10. She's like Mephiles and Starline all rolled into one unlikable OC villain who only exists to paint Dracula in a bad light. She seems like a mastermind manipulator only because everyone around her lost IQ points exponentially. She became utterly irrelevant after S2 and had a grandiose death for nothing. She could have been much more, but this is what happens when a sexist pig writes a radfem villain.
Lenore: 1/10. That one point is because she had the potential to be an interesting, fleshed out antagonist with again an intriguing grey morality. But she had the misfortune of being written by a hack who can't give his characters a consistent personality and a sex pest with a clear dommy mommy fetish, so she became rape apologism bait and now she pisses me off at sight :D
The Lesbians: who?/10. Waste of good character designs. At least Striga was used for Berserk bait.
The Japanese not-twins: 0/10. Completely pointess torture porn fodder.
St. Germain: 8/10 in S3, 5/10 in S4. Pretty enjoyable in his first appearance, and surprisingly faithful to the game counterpart in spirit. I didn't even mind his descent into villainy, in theory. But let's just say that his motivation is... lacking. and hilarious.
Death: fuck/10. He's the ShTH of NFCV.
Richter: 6/10. Not too bad? I don't understand the hatred for him. He's perfectly inoffensive, if not bland. The only line that made me go "bruh" was him correcting the girls about the meaning of "fraternity" lol
Maria: 4/10. This is not a character. This is a parody of a communist teen on Twitter.
Annette: 1/10. As I said multiple times, she doesn't feel like a character, but as carefully engineered rage bait.
Tera: don't care/10.
Abbot: 4/10. I would care about his conflict more if he wasn't the stupidest man alive. Also his Devil Forging machine sucks ass.
Cecile: 3/10. Maybe don't teach your student that she is perfectly in the right in looking down her white French friends...?
Edouard: WHEN I'M LAID/10.
Olrox: 7/10. As for now, he's fairly interesting, mainly because of his intrigue. A bit too try hard, though.
Bara Agent Stone: bro really was shocked at the abbot having a child when he was happily sticking his dick in a male vampire/10
Sun Thundercat: 0/10. By far the worst villain I've ever seen in any kind of story.
Tiddied Isaac: 4/10. I would like her more for her unapologetic style (calling it "personality" is a stretch) if she didn't expose the sheer hypocrisy in the fandom :^)

No she didn't, it started because of her but you're purposely looking to blame her if you what John and Tommy did, which was to cut and disrespect the changrettas is Lizzie's fault. It clearly and very fast became a dick-sizing contest between the two families and had nothing to do with Lizzie by the end of it.

Yes because you can say she never felt bad about something that was never even seen or filmed and by that logic again Tommy is more at fault than she is. He started sleeping with her and other women disrespecting his late wife. She was asked about it and told Polly and Esme who is everybody? We don't see one interaction between Lizzie and Grace for anybody to be acting like she hated her.

What are you talking about, she never says anything about Tommy's marriage bed, excuse the hell out of her for wanting to have sex on a bed and not bent over a desk and it's a jump to assume she wanted it to be the one his late wife slept in.
Again by the end of the changretta war that was a problem between the two families and had a lot less to do with Lizzie than what you're trying to imply. There was also multiple times that they could've stopped it from going that far but decided to keep pushing it.
"In S4, she wanted to humiliate two women, May and Jesse Eden, who did absolutely nothing to her, but she saw them as the ones to blame for Tommy not wanting to be with her. She even called May a whore."
Yeah she was jealous, and she gave Jesse a dirty look at the end of season 4 but where is she directly blaming them for her situation? Whenever she's actually mad about her situation she goes after Tommy and why wouldn't she be mad at him?
In season 5 she clearly tries to accept and work on the state of her marriage and why do you keep bringing up Grace when she doesn't have anything to actual do with the relationship between Tommy and Lizzie? If it was as simple as that, she would've been the direct cause of their failed marriage when she wasn't. God forbid she want the man she married to actually love and what was the time jump 8-9 years, to be over enough of the grief of his late wife, to care about his actual wife. Tommy had the same reaction to both pregnancies of his wife and ended up marrying both of them still not seeing the relevance. She again, took responsibility for her marriage in season 5 and was willing to work things out with Tommy. Season 6, she's upset that he just tried to kill himself without saying good and in the next episode is worried over him. She's upset with him throughout that season because of Ruby and how they were handling her death but she again tries to work with him. He ends up sleeping with the "enemy" and that's when it's too much for her, to have a woman sit in her face and try to humiliate her and you're response to this is she's surprised that "Tommy is being Tommy" when he brought a woman in the house to humiliate her while she's still very clearly not over the death of her daughter?
Still don't understand getting pissy and mad at Lizzie for sleeping with Tommy right after Angel (who she was going to break up with) died and not mad at Tommy for sleeping with her and a woman his wife was arguing with on the night she died.
Like let's be reasonable here

so I finished house s5 and it was great but I also feel a little underwhelmed? I know house losing his mind and not knowing what was real was a well-written plot twist, I loved the parallel between chameron getting married and wilson driving house to the psychiatric hospital. but it still isn't on the same level as s1-3 for me... maybe bc it's too dark? too dramatic ?
There's this one episode in s5 where foreman solves a case with chase and cameron, it's supposed to be a subplot, but I found it way more compelling than house's big case. it was the kid whose brother gave him too many vitamins bc he thought it would make him strong, and when he learns he made his brother sick he's scared he might hate him. but at the end of the episode, we see the little kid holding his brother's hand. it was very sweet, and what s1-3 were about imo. in comparison, house's case with the emancipated 16 yo who keeps lying about her parents was too much. another case that I loved in s5 was the faithless priest, it was realistic and reminded me of the nun in s1.
I'm still gonna watch s6, at least until cameron leaves (I started watching the show bc I saw some s6 reruns on TV, so I got spoiled) but after that idk... maybe I'll take a break and watch the rest some other time

So I have a few things I wanna say about Fuller House S4.
First off, I'm glad this season seemed to be a bit more like Full House was, with the serious topics thrown in more often, it was nice to see that, it wasn't all jokes like it has been in the past.
It was nice to see who the boy's father was, to see that Christmas was hard for Max cause he didn't have his dad, it was a nice touch to have that moment be one that DJ herself used to feel and could connect with Max about.
I know the comment about Stephanie having a girlfriend was most likely a throw away and it'll never be mentioned again. Which is a shame, it would be nice if it wasn't, if it was something that was acknowledged as a part of her.
You could tell from the reactions after she mentioned a girlfriend that it probably wasn't something that was meant to be said, maybe an improv line from Jodie Sweetin, which if it was, thank you Jodie for throwing that out to us fans that believe Steph is Bi.
Jimmy annoyed me. The way the character is written, he's not ready to be a father. I'm sorry but he's not. That baby girl wouldn't stand a chance if it didn't have Stephanie as her mom.
Jimmy is immature and childish, he's dumb. Even Max, a 10-year-old boy can out smart him. I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy ended up becoming overwhelmed by fatherhood and ditched Stephanie and the baby.
On the other hand, I could see the writers just completely over turning the character, making him smarter, more mature, completely changing him now that he has a baby. And that would be just as bad as if he ditched Steph and the baby.
Again, Fernando pissed me off. I've never been a fan of him. I don't like cheaters and at the end of the day, that's what he is. Once a cheater always a cheater. Kimmy can do much better than him and should never have taken him back.
Fair enough have him mentioned and be around in a few episodes for Ramona's sake, but him and Kimmy should not be together. Kimmy deserves someone that will actually care about her, Fernando claims to, then goes and sleeps with other people 'many, many, many times'
I love that DJ tried to sort things out with CJ, that relationship is never going to be perfect, but I'm glad that DJ could see that she hurt CJ and apologized to her for it.
I'm annoyed we don't get to know Stephanie's daughter's name. It would have been nice to know it.
Hopefully when we do find out the baby's name, it will hold some significants to the family. Obviously it can't be Pamela, since that is Jesse and Becky's daughter's name, but hopefully it'll have some meaning to the family.
I didn't like that Jimmy asked Stephanie to marry him. It felt forced. Like he was only doing it for the baby and so Stephanie could 'relay' on him, something she hasn't really been able to do throughout their whole relationship.
All in all, I did really like this season of Fuller House. There were just a few things that didn't sit right with me. Mostly the throwaway line about Stephanie having a girlfriend. But it was a good season, and here's hoping for season 5!

I just finished watching Superstore and it was sooooo good ! The ending was so sweet, I loved it. I wished I'd had discovered the show sooner though...
Anyway, absolutely loved it ! Highly recommend it !
I think I'm going to do a rewatch really soon.

I can't believe he's dead... I loved Dr. Melendez. Usually, when I discover a serie late, I always get spoiled. I wasn't this time....
I'm so sad. And pissed off ! I'm not sure I'll be able to watch the next season... At least not right now.
And Claire deserved so much more. I mean, come on ! I would have be fine with them being friends and cute together forever. Or maybe not. But I'll take friendship over death anytime...
Fuck you David Shore. You were already a Bastard with House, and now this... I think I deserved better too.

3. Sherlock, because it brought me a much deeper enjoyment of the thing than I ever had known before, and opened me up to other variations of Sherlock Holmes, and also because I've never felt so close to people in a fandom before. (runners up are House and Harry Potter)

6. House/Wilson, Lupin/Snape, John/Sherlock, Holmes/Watson, might have dabbled in Kurt/Karofsky when Karofsky's gay storyline first came out, Destiel, Pythagoras/Icarus, Will/Hannibal, Doctor/Master for a while, also Doctor/Turlough, Kirk/Spock, Arthur/Merlin, Gwen/Morgana for a while
7. NoTPs? Tonks/Lupin for sure. House/Cuddy. Sam/Dean. Spock/Uhura in the reboot. Doctor/River, though I like them individually.
8. I was already a bit involved insofar I watched the show and liked many fandom posts online. But then I saw a series called TJLC Explained that I got obsessed with and it pulled me in far deeper into the fandom. One thing led to another…
9. Everyone's so clever and coming up with more theories all the time. They honestly love the thing, and are very open about sharing it.
10. Star Trek, occasionally. Yu-Gi-Oh! because I wasn't any good then. Most things I usually at least attempt a ficlet, but that hasn't happened yet with Star Trek. I did start to write a longer Trek fic, but it's not done yet, so I didn't count it.
11. Holmes/Watson. After s4 of Sherlock, we all need our own ways of coping. Mine is to retreat into ACD fic. I don't consider this cheating, because tjlc.
12. OT3, eh? I have dabbled in Joltolock.
13. Warstan. Also Mycroft/Smallwood in s4 was pretty disturbing.
14. Mrs Hudson and Sherlock and John.
15. Jolto is pretty intriguing. Margaret/Mrs Hudson is too.
16. Sherlolly. He's just not that into her.
17. At the start, I was torn between Sheriarty and Johnlock. Now I've completely abandoned Sheriarty and only like Johnlock.
18. Johnlock.
19. Molly/Lestrade. Maybe I've lost my taste for straight ships?
20. I once read a series of fascinating Johncraft fics that were so well done it made me fall for the ship a little. Who knew?
21. Secrets and Lies was my first real attempt. After trying and failing to write fanfic in the Yu-Gi-Oh! fandom, I tried again in the Harry Potter fandom. I wanted to write a long fic, not just a ficlet. After a few years, I ended up with a novel that was heavily edited in the front and roughly written in the back. Eventually, I quit, telling myself it's done, and made myself move on.
22. A few things. Mostly in the Supernatural fandom, though a few in the Potter fandom. Mostly the regret is embarrassment of bad writing, or fear of revealing too much.
23. During a Snupin Summer Fest on LJ, I took a prompt and wrote Who We Are. The fic was based on a prompt about Gryffindor sword and the locket of Slytherin, and I ended up using those as metaphors for Snape and Lupin finally reconciling and getting together behind the scenes in DH. I like the language it used and thought it worked well.
24. The latter half of Secrets and Lies. Also, this one ACD fic I wrote where they investigate some obviously queer murders only to end up in the killer's trap.
25. According to the kudos on AO3, it's Lovely Invasion or, Invisible Enemy
26. Usually, it's whatever pops into my head. Otherwise, I try to think what the fic is essentially about, and name it based on that.
27. Titles. Summaries are fairly simple; titles have a more limited space to sum up what the story is. Especially with longer stories, it can be hard.
28. After I finished Who We Are, I desperately wanted a pic of the kiss at the end. But what's the likelihood? I can dream…
29. I've never had a beta reader. In part because I'm afraid to reach out/don't know how. In part because I would imagine them as proofreaders, and I'm pretty good at that.
30. Often characters do. Sometimes, I come up with concepts that I just have to write. For example, what if Holmes and Watson actually were caught out for being too gay and were put on trial for it just like Oscar Wilde, and that was their Reichenbach? I actually started to write that one; I haven't finished it yet.
31. Years ago, I received a couple of nice comments on my fic, Old-Fashioned. In particular, I liked how well done they said the dialogue was.
32. If I need it for motivation, I do. Sometimes, though, it's too distracting.
33. Oneshots most often, since they don't require huge commitments. Sometimes, though, my idea naturally requires multiple chapters. But I don't write epics.
34. Secrets and Lies apparently finished out at 113k. Does that count as an epic? 😳 I didn't mean to. Let's see if Reichenbach Downfall can give it a run for its money.
35. I definitely write drabbles. Usually they're about little moments that pop into my head.
36. Difficult to say. Angst has certainly been a pet genre to read in the past, but I don't think that translates to my writing. My fics are often character-driven, so maybe drama?
37. Generally I use close 3rd person. When I first started writing fic, I gravitated to first person, but over time I developed close third because first was too limiting. Close third still allows me to stick with the character without being tied down to their perspective alone.
38. Generally, I stick to canon characters. I only introduce OCs when I wanted to make a specific point or express a particular thing.
39. Well, I'm told I'm good at dialogue. I also like to think I'm good at characterisation, but that's usually limited to my favourites.
40. Plotting out longer works is something I'm working on. I also struggle to understand characters I've neglected developing.
41. Technically, I'm still reading The Burning Heart, since I'm still on the last chapter; Sentiment and Espionage, and All That Lies Between is an excellent fic, and I'm eagerly (impatiently) awaiting the next update; I've been working on this one for quite a while, a Mystrade fic called The School Boy, which is finished but of epic length and also part of a series; don't think I ever finished Three Continents Strikes Again; and finally, not my usual fandom, but I was looking for the "soft epilogue" quote, and kuebiko might be the fic

44. Johnlock's my ship, and it's also the main ship. But I guess more femme slash ships would be nice.
45. Across fandoms? Tough call. I loved Coffee Girl by Peacewish in the Yu-Gi-Oh! fandom, Twist and Shout in Supernatural, Performance in a Leading Role in Sherlock… but Sherlock's got more than Performance. There's Riptide Lover, there's my top 3 smut fics, I'm Not Actually A Pervert, Evening Ride, and Idle Hands. My favourite? Out of those, I guess either Twist and Shout or Evening Ride.
46. I'm the most proud of Old-Fashioned and Who We Are, both of which are Snupin fics. Perhaps I simply relate to them in some way. I would probably recommend either one of them, just because of the complicated way they relate to each other and approach each other. I think it's interesting to contemplate what they are to each other.
47. AO3 is great! It's where I go to post my better, usually longer fics. However, tumblr's where I go when writing ficlets on a whim.
48. Not as much as I should. I'm usually too focused on bookmarking to comment. Also, sometimes I'm afraid to, even though that's ridiculous! When I'm moved, or when I think I should, then I'll comment.
49. Often I'm too scared to read comments. I should really get over that. I live in the hopes that I will, and then I will be pleasantly surprised. So, I do hope there's some waiting for me for that someday. So I guess I care.
50. While exploring the net for some Yu-Gi-Oh! I found ff.net, and went crazy with reading. Immediately I knew I wanted to participate in fandom, and chose fic as my medium.
51. omg, I love how everyone can come together for this thing they love. We got artists, writers, meta writers, betas, podcasters, podficcers, sometimes even musicians. We got vidders too, just all kinds of creators that unite for this one thing. And they get good, really good! one could go pro with all the skills you learn in your medium. and everyone's so supportive, so full of love, nurturing this gift! that's something you might not find elsewhere.
