Happy #transformationtuesday y’all!!! Let me just say this— progress however slight is still progress. I am still amazed at the difference a year can make. I will be honest, after taking the photo on the left, I slacked off for the summer. I got comfortable. Y’all never get comfortable, don’t lose your accountability. That’s when things get crazy. Though I slacked, I am really happy with where I am as of this morning. There is a change however slight it may be. Truthfully, I still find myself amazed at all I have accomplished in the last 2.5 years despite falling off the wagon a handful of time (I’m human 🤷🏽‍♀️). In September of 2016, I really started taking my health seriously. 320lbs with more health issues than any 25 yr old should have makes you realize how important your life is. I needed to make a change. I needed to take responsibility for what I’d done to my body and turn things around. That’s what I did. Yes I fell off the wagon, yes I got back on. No one is perfect, least of all me. I struggled, I wanted to give up and say screw it more times than I can count. I am so glad I didn’t let myself get in the way of me making the changes necessary to be happier and healthier. I look back at the woman who was 320lbs and I honestly never want to be there again. The confidence and love I have for myself far outweighs the struggles I went through getting here.
