So Shigaraki, well AfoShig, gets all these quirks and never gets a real chance to use them. Each time they are stopped. This is the final battle, Deku just got there. You really think it's over. It's not. The conclusion of the manga and you think we aren't gonna see his full power. After all this build up, we will. It would be cheap not to. And real Afo is on the way. Something will happen to let him use his quirks. I'm curious about the search quirk which tells him weaknesses and we want to know what other ones he has.

I remember reading past chapter 306 and wondering HOW Hori was going to do this. Deku is overpowered. It's almost laid out for us during the entire vigilante arc. Because, ad we know, AFOShig is overpowered.

We've seen how to deal with AFOShig. Keep it to mutations.

But still, I've wondered how Hori can make the final battle /MEAN/ something than just a higher power level ("it's over 9000!")

I think, though, he does this with Bakugou.

The main fight, the main physicality if the fight, is AFO/SHIG beating up whomever they can. Whether it's AFO "reversing" heroes to thin the heard or AFOShig being a weird hand monster to combat the top of the top, this is the main PHYSICAL fight.

When Izuku shows up, tho, it'll be to offer a hand.

We have a hint of it now, Tomura/Shig asking "why not me?!" I know people want to see Deku arrive and go feral but I think he'll arrive and go.... calm. That eerie, too powerful calm that threatens to rip the plan apart bc of what Shig did. But Izuku SEES the little boy crying out.

I believe in Hori. His story beats have hit every time, even the ones people know/guess in advance. He's one of the only comic/manga writers I actually admire for that.

I'm just... so excited to see how this all ENDS.

Regarding Mr. C and tartarus, I think we're actually about to get that jail break arc ppl been dying for, considering thats were AFOshig is heading with the nomu? We might see Giri, Stain and Overhaul?? I hope?? My concern is, if thats the case will Mr. C even be in the condition to be sent there before then? If afo is on his way RIGHT NOW, im guessing Mr. C wont be part of the freed-villains crowd :/ Ill be counting on fannon for that 😔

YEAH I was gonna mention that but it sounded really convoluted when I tried to type it. It looks like Shig is there RIGHT NOW and Mr. C is still in an ambulance. Time stuff tends to overlap but it seems pretty clear there.

I know I def want to write stuff of him already being there. But I wonder if he'll even show up again anytime soon. Maybe if we're lucky someone will raid the heroes, grab Mr and Toga, and run?

Yes, I was told about the callout post. I won't reblog it but I can give a summary in case someone wants to know what's going on but like me wants to avoid certain blogs.

Malashimura, a mod of the shigadabi zine Dry Heat and Bad Ritual a nsfw villain zine, outright commissioned art of her holding Miruko's bloody head all because she doesn't like a certain ship going around.

The optics of a white woman beheading a brown-skinned woman for some fucking fan art completely escaped her because she is... white and stupid about it and wants to continue to be a fucking troglodyte.

She also apparently defends shigadeku and afoshigs. The artist she commissioned is samghoulie on twitter.

Anyway, do what you want with this info. I don't think, essentially, white fans will attempt to grasp what's wrong with this sort of thing. There's a very gross attitude to Miruko, and it's perpetuated by Horikoshi being gross about her and her characterization as a brown-skinned woman too.

As much as I wish callouts had consequences, having made one, they do not. People still have clout in this fandom who really shouldn't. In all likelihood, the most that can happen is a dip in sales for those zines unless she does the right thing and step down.

Given her responses to said callout, I doubt she'll find a shred of decency in herself to do just that.
