A/N: Pffft his face here is a whole mood 😭 I got a similar request for Felix too, so he's next 🙃 Dating headcanons coming right up, with a side order of freaking obsessive, naturally:

⚜️• I don't know what to say about this guy that isn't already shown in the pic 😏 he's a cocky, rude, arrogant flirtatious player who takes every opportunity and advantage to use to his best. Once something's caught his attention, it'll play on his mind and he'll get to it in his own way, because that's the Farleigh Start we know and love.

⚜️• You'll meet him at Oxford, maybe hanging out around his friends with Felix and the rest, maybe not. I think he'd be very much drawn to someone who's not like the girls he sees always running after Felix or trying to make him jealous when they don't have his attention. You be you, and when he uses a very bold and seemingly smooth line on you, give him a look of amusement and slight confusion, and he'll be stunned that you didn't fall all over him for his charms like he's used to.

⚜️• Farleigh just watches you leave for a solid minute in bewilderment and intrigue because the guy got kicked out of every school because of how he is, but apparently, you're not that easy? This is new...?

⚜️• Don't think Farleigh's just some rich prick playboy who has to pick on the smarter kids to stay in college though, because he's surprisingly smart, which wouldn't be a first guess based on the way he acts around people and mocks anyone who isn't anywhere in his circle of friends and social class with Felix. If you saw him reviewing essays and stuff with Oliver and the teacher near the beginning of the movie, you can see he knows his terminology and how to study to get good enough grades in class. The only reason he kept getting kicked out of schools was for messing around with the teachers. It's not like Farleigh's stupid, not at all, but there's no way he's going to work harder than he has to... which isn't that hard at all.

⚜️• So when he saunters over to you yet again with his familiar arrogant smirk and charm, offering you a drink while his eyes unsubtly trail up and down your figure in intrigue, and you smile in amusement and casually turn him down... 😑😐 (his face) and then realises that okay, he might have to work harder than he usually does, because there's something about you that's made him curious, Farleigh has to rethink for a second before trying to get you to tag along with him and his friends more often.

⚜️• If Felix doesn't ask you over to Saltburn for the holidays, Farligh will nag at him to do it, with seemingly no other reason than "you're hot" and "why not have a new face?" and whatever else he thinks up on the spot that's half earnest and true, and also because a big manor out in the country with private gardens is just the perfect place to take this person he's been mildly obsessing over for the past while to draw them in... Felix, say yes now, because boy won't take no for an answer.

⚜️• During the course of your stay and hanging out around Farleigh, you'll come to realise that he's actually not a total jackass and snob that fools around with any girl he thinks is hot enough. His ties with the Cattons are pretty fragile and complex, and there's a lot more to him than he'll ever really show. There's a lot of pressure in fitting in and matching Saltburn's aesthetic and definition, but if you're someone who's not completely used to all the wealth and standards and makes him feel more relaxed and accepted without a facade everyone seems to wear, you'll see more and more of what makes Farleigh, Farleigh.

⚜️• So well done to him for discovering that there's more to an aspiring relationship than just the sex and passion, there's communication and actually getting to know each other too 👏

⚜️• As you get properly closer, you'll see that the dude gets ridiculously jealous when any other guy or girl shows an interest in you that goes past platonic in his eyes. He's started arguments and fights before about lesser things, so don't think he won't tense up and his eyes won't narrow into an annoyed glare at whoever it is that's taking up too much of your time. Farleigh will probably finish it off by humiliating them in some way, smirking in amusement from his seat as he watches his efforts pay off, and shrug with a faux innocent look when you call him out on it.

⚜️• If Oliver Quick happens to be Felix's guest at Saltburn too, Farleigh's jealousy levels and possessiveness will spike too, along with a hint of protectiveness. Since he basically thought right from the beginning that there was something weird about Oliver - maybe not to the realistic point that's revealed, but enough to not have one friendly or lighthearted word for him - Oliver going to you for friendship or most likely something more will only motivate Farleigh to exclude him as much as he can from the rest of the group.

⚜️• I feel like Farleigh would grow to quickly love what it means to be in a committed and official relationship, when before he turned his nose up at the idea of being restrained to only one person instead of a fling, and not having to worry about telling each other things that go too deep. It seems to all come naturally with you, and he loves it; being a loud and gleefully obnoxious supporter when you're doing whatever club or sport or anything at all with half a crowd watching from the sidelines. Proud, smug boyfriend right in the front row taking an unnecessary amount of photos to put up on a wall in his room.

⚜️• Farleigh makes simping look good. 😎

⚜️• He'll take advantage of the money he gets to buy you as expensive things as he can get, smirking proudly when he remembers you talking about something you like to get you. Farleigh can absolutely be romantic if he tries, mostly when you're alone and he makes sure he's the first one to tell you he loves you, it'll be surprisingly heartfelt and sweet and vulnerable, and then you've officially, one hundred per cent, seen Farleigh Start for everything he really is, which isn't all bad at all.

⚜️• Big-time pda, and if you're not into that, tell him now, right now, because he's fairly shameless and won't think twice before showing off to his friends by making out with you at uncalled moments, or being more subtle and sweet by having his arm naturally around your shoulders when you're watching a movie or at some social event. Big handholder as well; walking to and from class, alone, in public, doesn't make a difference to him.

⚜️• His jealousy factors into his affection outside sometimes, not that he doesn't trust you, but Farleigh definitely isn't the only player around, and when you're at Saltburn with Felix, he might find himself being frustratedly insecure that you'll be drawn to him because... well, it's Felix, and everyone loves Felix. So when you show that you're not interested at all and it's Farleigh you're dating, duh, he'll chill out a bit after being clingy for a day or two.

⚜️• I will say that even though I don't write smut, it's gotta be obvious that you'll have more than enough going on behind closed doors, because it's Farleigh, and he likes you a lot, so... yeah, brace yourself 😏

⚜️• All I'm gonna say, though, is watch out for Oliver Quick, who's most likely watching it all with that familiar longing and envy of having such a close and strong relationship with someone beautiful and unique, who seems to fit in with the rest of the family just by being you. He's going to. want it, really want it, and whether he gets it or not is a matter of luck and dark fate.

I want to be creator, how do I join?

No sign ups, no checks, just create whatever you feel like creating! Choose one or all of the prompts. Please read and follow all rules to be a part of this event.

What type of fanworks are accepted?

All types of fanwork are accepted; light, dark, fluff, angst, romantic or platonic, etc. please be sure to tag properly. And you were right. He only went back to work when he couldn’t take any more days off, even though you insisted that he shouldn’t worry about you. The thing is, you are very stubborn, and it became even more obvious when you couldn’t do things on your own, but still wanted to.

Once more, you opened your eyes and felt a sharp pain when trying to move. You always forgot about your legs.

“Oh, fuck.” You murmured, trying to be as quiet as possible. You didn’t want to alarm Buck even more on his first day back to work. “Buck?” You called, hearing noises of things being stumbled on and quick steps on the stairs soon after.

“Honey, hi!” He said, almost falling on the ground when rushing to the bedroom. “Here, let me help you.” Buck grabbed your waist and carefully got you out of bed. “Are you sure that’s ok for me to go back to work?”

“I promise, babe, it’s fine. I can take care of myself while you work.” You said, caressing his hair and cupping his face with your free hand. His blue eyes finding yours. You could tell that he was worried, but you knew how much he wanted to go back to work.

“You can call me anytime, ok? If I don’t pick up, someone will.” He hugged you and kissed your cheek, making you laugh.

“You’re going to be late, Buck.” You said as he trailed kisses down your neck.

“I love you, ok? See you tomorrow.” He said, kissing your lips and leaving the bedroom.

“Love you too!” You said, catching a glimpse of his smile as he went down the stairs. You waited until you heard the front door closing to start getting ready.

People always talked about how Buck was a workaholic, but they didn’t notice how you were just as bad as him. In the last weeks, you didn’t have the chance to leave the house and go to work, since Buck wouldn’t leave your side. But now, with your boyfriend going on a 24 hour shift, you had plenty of time.

You got ready as fast as you could and left the house, driving to the Los Angeles Service Center.

As soon as you arrived, you received a message from Buck asking if everything was ok. You smiled at your phone and answered, saying that there’s no need to worry.

You got to your floor, using a walking stick to get to your desk, which was right beside Maddie’s, so you knew she would see you there soon. But you were prepared to argue why she shouldn’t tell Buck you were there.

As soon as you sat down, you heard a familiar voice calling you by your full name, which would have startled you if you weren’t expecting it

“Maddie! You look so pretty today, you know that?” You said, smiling at her.

“You are unbelievable. Does Buck know you’re here?” She asked, crossing her arms.

“... No, and you’re not going to tell him.” Maddie opened her mouth to answer, but you were faster. “And you own me one, remember? I didn’t tell Chimney that you came in sick when he had specifically told you not to.”

“Well, it’s different. You are recovering from a surgery, when I was just a little constipated.” She said, putting her hands on her hips.

“You still said that you owned me one, so I’m claiming that favor now.”

Maddie looked at you up and down, trying to decide if you were being serious or not. Usually, you would hold onto a favor for dear life until you wanted something nearly impossible. Getting back to work was something that would happen eventually, so all you had to do was wait.

But you couldn’t wait anymore. At home, everytime you heard your phone ringing you got excited because it reminded you of work. It was pathetic. Before becoming a dispatcher, you always judged Buck for being so obsessed with being a firefighter. Being a nurse was good, and you loved helping people, but you got too overwhelmed at the end of the shifts with all those people around you.

“Look, I will be careful. It’s not like I will be moving much, right?” You could see Maddie holding her laugh.

“You do have a point.” She said as she sat right beside you, preparing for the first call of the shift.

Time passed, and you tried very hard to not talk on the radio when the 118 was attending the calls. Sometimes you heard Buck speaking and smiled, trying not to talk to him as you always did. You got used to having conversations while he did things that didn’t really require his full attention, and he loved doing that too. It was something that helped him a lot when he needed to relax.

As the day went by, you got more relaxed. You and Maddie shared lunch, and she helped you change your bandages.

“Everything looks great, honey.” She said as she finished, making sure that the medical tape was well put on your back. “Buck is doing a great job taking care of you.” You smiled at the comment.

“You know, the moment I woke up from the surgery, I knew that he wouldn’t leave me alone.”

“He was so scared, honey. He wouldn’t leave your side.” She said as she started to walk back to her desk with you.

“He is a sweetheart, Maddie.” You said, sitting on your chair. “Even though I missed working, he made sure to make those weeks enjoyab-” Before you could finish your sentence, you heard a loud bang, followed by screams. You looked around and found one of the new dispatchers unconscious on the floor.

You and Maddie went as quick as possible ��� considering you were using a walking stick — to the girl, who looked like was having an allergic reaction. You asked someone to bring the medical kit, hoping to find an epi-pen.

“Nothing here.” Maddie said, looking at you, worried.

“Look at her bag! She might have brought it with her.”

You soon started to hear sirens, but you didn't think anything about it. Your focus was on the girl.

“She's here!” You heard Sue say, hearing footsteps coming in your direction.

“We think it's an allergic reaction, but we don't have any epi-pen.” Maddie said, making space for the paramedics.

“You are right. Chimney, give her some epi.” Hen said, measuring her heart rate.

You got up, standing right beside Maddie and putting your hand on her shoulder for support. You both were worried about the girl. It took you a minute until you realized that Buck was in the same room as you.

You waited until the girl woke up, which didn't take long. Hen and Chimney explained to her what happened, and she agreed to go to the hospital to get checked. This was the perfect moment to try to hide from your boyfriend, but you weren't fast enough.

“Y/N?!” You heard your boyfriend say, just as you were trying to get away.

“Hi, Buck.” You said, turning to his direction. “How's your day going?”

“What the hell are you doing here? You should be at home!” He said, looking worriedly at you, holding your hands.

“I was just getting some things with Maddie!” You lied, looking at your friend, who agreed with her head.

“Why are you in uniform, then?” He asked, crossing his arms, staring at you. You could see Chimney and Eddie looking at Hen, who had a smug smile on her face.

“Pay up.” She said, looking as both of the firefighters picked up their wallets.

“Buck, I’m fine! I swear. And there’s lots of well trained people here to take care of me if something goes wrong. Maddie even helped me change my bandages!” You said, and your boyfriend looked at his sister, who gave him an awkward smile.

Buck looked at you hesitantly before tilting his head and biting the inside of his cheek.

“I guess I can’t make you go home, huh?” He said, smiling slightly and caressing your cheek with his thumb. “Look, please be careful, ok? Promise me that you will take any pain seriously. I don't want you getting any worse.” He smiled at you, kissing your lips.

“I promise, Buck.”

“And now that I know you're here, I want to hear your voice through the radio, ok?” You smiled, confirming with your head.

“I miss doing that.”

“Me too.”

“Ok, lovebirds, let's go. And I'm talking to you too, Chimney.” Hen said, startling Maddie and the firefighter.

“I gotta go, bae. I'll see you home.” Buck said, quickly kissing you before running through the door with the 118. “Love you!”

“Love you too!”

And just like that you spend the rest of your shift talking with your boyfriend through the radio.

omfg you put into words all of my internal angry mutterings i have when I see stuff like that

friendly reminder that putting 'x reader' as the label on your fic and then using a cover photo with a waif thin, petite, rapunzel ass, instagram aesthetic, white woman as the very first impression of what your fic is supposed to be about is a dick move

even if you don't add any descriptors of what the reader looks like in your fic (which, most of you slip up and do add them and don't care to edit them out) - having the audience's very first impression of your fic be that the love interest is a thin white woman says a lot about your unconscious thought process while writing the fic.

it says a lot about who you consider to be desirable in society and who you want your audience to be thinking about and picturing while reading the fic, when they should be thinking about and picturing themselves being desired by their favourite characters for polite escapism.

WHEN MC HAS A STALKER

These past few days, you’ve felt like there are eyes following you everywhere you went. Each time you turn back, there’s always nothing behind you. Maybe you were imagining it? But it sure felt real and it’s making you very uneasy. So you go to one of the brothers for help.

Lucifer

You approached him one day while he was in the middle of doing his paperwork. Normally he doesn’t want to be disturbed, but you told him it was important so this was an exception. You explained how you felt like someone had been following you around town and he listened to every word.

There was a look of concern on Lucifer’s face. At first it sounded preposterous but seeing the unease on your face was enough for him to believe you. So he started making the necessary arrangements to make sure you’re never alone at all times. 

He basically made a schedule so there’s always one brother with you. Whether it's going to and from school, getting groceries, and other events that require you outside he sees to it that you feel safe and protected. 

During one of the festivals, Lucifer paid close attention to you as you went to the booths to play some games and win some prizes. He’s been scanning the crowd ever since you all got here and he’s noticed a certain demon always in the same area as you are. His eyes turned dark when his eyes landed on your stalker.

‘I found you.’

His aura became so intense and menacing but Lucifer didn’t want to cause an uproar and ruin the entire festival, not when you’re having so much fun. He didn’t need to speak any words, but he’s made his threat very known to that demon. 

His words echo in the demon’s head, voice full of malice “come near them one more time, I will pluck each of your limbs off you like a petal of a flower…” and it never stopped there. His threats became more violent and grotesque that the demon was practically shaking as they ran away. 

Knowing the face of the demon, they can no longer escape Lucifer’s radar. As soon as he can get his claws on them, then punishment will be done accordingly. He would force information as to why this lowlife was following you. Their answer will determine if they get to keep their life or not. But it’s Lucifer’s torture that would decide if it’s still worth keeping. 

He turns back to find you running to him with a big grin, holding the prize you worked so hard to get. The smile on your face was a reminder of how your safety should always be his top priority. 

“I can assure you that the ‘stalker’ has been properly dealt with. You should never feel unsafe in these streets, MC. As long as you’re with me, I’ll always make sure you feel protected.” Lucifer had his arm around your shoulder, holding you close and letting you enjoy the rest of the festival with him. 

You managed to win a matching pair of keychains. It was something so cute that it goes really out of place with Lucifer’s aesthetic. You insisted he use it and well… he can’t really say no to you can’t he? 

He never let go of the matching keychain you got him during the event. It’s dangling on his phone while he texts you that he’ll be late for dinner, there’s just some certain things that require his immediate attention. 

In fact, he was in the castle’s dungeons with your stalker. After he sends you that text, he turns to the demon chained up “now… where were we?” He grins. Lucifer’s hands were dripping with thick inky blood at the end of the night, the keychain being the only thing on him without blemish and stains. 

Mammon

You never had to tell him, Mammon already knows. 

When it comes to you, Mammon is aware of everything since he spends the entire day glued to your hip. Any chance he gets, he wants to spend it with you because he’s your first! And since you two have spent more time together than the others, he knows your tells.

For the past few days, mammon felt eyes following the both of you. At first he thought that maybe it’s one of the witches he owed money to that’s been at his tail. Though that feeling goes away when he’s alone. 

You’ve been looking uneasy lately and Mammon took notice. You insist that you’re fine, you just get this weird gut feeling that you’re being watched. It finally clicks in his head. It wasn’t Mammon that was being followed, but it was you. 

He tries to play it cool, but behind his shades his eyes are filled with irritation. Someone got his eyes on his human, how can anyone expect him to be calm?! Mammon tried to keep a close eye on you afterwards, and he never fails to find excuses to be with you. 

“OI! Where have you been? I've been waiting for ya!” “… Mammon I'm in class.” “That ain’t an excuse!!” Those are the kinds of texts you’ve been receiving from Mammon lately. 

There was a time you were out to get some supplies for an upcoming event and when Mammon came to look for you, he spotted a demon peering over the corner and staring at you. 

In an instant, his hand is by the back of that demon’s neck. “They’re a real treasure, dontcha think so?” Mammon smiles, a kind way too sinister it would send shivers down your spine. “Truly one of a kind, I’d even say priceless…” There’s a slight endearment in his tone when he talks about you, but his grip was getting far too tight. 

“If you’re tryna find a chance to get a grab, well you’re out of luck. Because I don’t plan on sharing.” He says between clenched teeth, claws digging a little too deep into skin. He is Greed after all. If he can’t even let his brothers, not even Lucifer, have time with you then he’s not going to be as patient and giving to lesser demons.

And then there’s a sickening SNAP!

You were carrying a box of supplies back to the House of Lamentation, too busy trying to focus on not dropping them to even notice when Mammon came by. He took it off your hands effortlessly and whined at how slow you are.

“Jeez, it’d be faster if I carried it for ya. After this, I’d say we should hit the mall. Dontcha worry, I got a few Grimm on me this time!” He says while proudly holding out a wallet you’ve never seen before. It was definitely not his. 

Levi

It came up randomly with Levi. Since the demon was always alone in his room, you asked him if he ever felt like something was watching him, if he’s ever felt eyes always following him. 

Levi was bewildered and wondered if you’ve been watching too much horror anime’s because that sounded really creepy. He didn’t think about it much and you dropped the subject as you both continued to play games. 

He didn’t completely brush it off though, because sometimes he noticed you looking behind your back whenever you’re both outside together, or when you enter the house. 

Levi left you for a moment while he went to check out the latest merch line in one of his usual go-to stores. He was on his way back when he heard the sounds of clicking nearby. 

When he turns to one of the alley ways, he finds a demon with a camera at hand as they take pictures of you. You were patiently waiting for Levi to come back as you sat by a bench, unaware of the demon documenting you for reasons unknown. 

Just before they could take another picture, Levi’s tail whipped the camera out of their hands and crushed it so easily. “What the hell were you doing?” He snarls, his hand grabbing the stalker by the throat to keep them from running. 

He’s never confrontational like his own brothers, but it’s always different when it comes to you. You’re his first friend, his Henry, and being the Avatar of Envy… Levi doesn’t take too kindly to anything or anyone that can take away what’s his. 

With a simple Water Creation spell, Levi filled the demon’s lungs. To drown without any body of water… It was a clean and quiet method to get rid of the stalker. His bad mood and irritation was short yet overwhelming that dark clouds appeared in the area.

It started to rain and just when you were about to search your bag for your umbrella when Levi walks up to you with his pink frilly Ruri-chan umbrella. 

“Sorry I took too long! There was this stupid normie getting in my way” Levi whined. There’s a hint of color in his cheeks before he speaks, “w-we should share an u-umbrella though! I don't want you to get drenched!” (Even though the rain was his doing)

You agree to share with him, saying that you’re glad he brought an umbrella since you forgot (while you hide yours in your bag). If your shoulders ever slightly brushed together, Levi will start turning as pink as the umbrella in his hand. What would’ve been a storm became a light drizzle with your presence around.. 

Satan

It happened while you two were reading in his room. Both of you were so focused on your own little worlds until you asked him “how would you know if you’re being followed?” and the question got him concerned. 

You tried to play it off as something that’s currently happening to the character in your book, and Satan wanted to pry but he didn’t want to force you for answers directly. So he listens to every word you say whenever you try to explain it while avoiding your name.��

He knew it was about you, he can tell from how nervous you looked when he picked you up from the library once. You brushed it aside, but he can never pass this off as nothing. Not when it comes to you. 

Satan is always tagging along with you afterwards around school. He never stops making excuses to be next to you and if he can’t be around, then he’ll ask one of his brothers to accompany you in his stead. 

There was a time he left you by the table to pick up a book from the shelf that he needs so he can teach you the materials for class better. While he was doing so, he found a demon that’s been staring at your table for quite some time while hiding behind several bookshelves. 

Without hesitation, he grabs the demon by the collar and shoves them by the wall before leaning close, fangs bared with the intent to kill. To maim.

“The only reason why I’m not killing you right now is because I don’t want them to see how easy it is for me to rip your throat off your neck. I could gauge out your eyes for following them. For watching them.” And each threat made Satan’s grip on the demon’s neck tighter, but he let them go. 

You watched from your chair as a demon started sprinting to the doors outside, as if their life depended on it. Satan appears with his usual smile and a book on his hand “let’s continue studying shall we?”  

You never felt those eyes following you again, and Satan made sure of that because after bringing you home from your little study session, he mentions that he forgot to ‘take care’ of something back at the library and will be back late. “Don’t wait up for me MC okay? Get some rest” 

He only comes home the next day, with a dark and satisfied smile on his face. ‘I told them it was easy…’ Satan thought to himself as he cleans up the blood off his hands, not a fingernail stained in sight. He always wants to look presentable to you after all.

Asmo

You and Asmo were having a little fashion show in his room since he insists on preparing a perfect outfit in advance for an event at the castle. You couldn’t seem to focus on his clothes and the demon was quick to take notice so he asked what’s so important that you can’t even pay attention to such a beautiful dressed up Asmo. 

Taking this chance, you told him that you weren’t feeling very safe whenever you’re outside. It’s like there was someone following you around everywhere you go and you’re not sure what to do about it. 

“Darling, are you sure it’s not just my dumb brother Mammon? He can never seem to stay still without you around, maybe it was him” You wanted to say that you doubt it, but you dropped the topic since he didn’t seem to believe you and instead listened to Asmo talk about the latest fashion trends. 

Even though Asmo didn’t mean to dismiss it, your words never left his mind. So he decided to keep a low profile today and see for himself. Trying to stay hidden was so hard when it’s part of his nature to stand out but he did his best, and his efforts paid off when he found a demon following you around while you were shopping for clothes. 

Thank Diavolo for the shades covering his alluring golden eyes, for they were blazing red with anger. How DARE some creep just follow you around like that shamelessly?!

You went into a store to try out a new outfit in their dressing rooms and before the demon could even follow you any further, their shoulders were grabbed from behind. No one expected someone so high profile as Asmo to be in such a small store like this, and he did not look very happy. 

“Lay a single filthy claw on my MC and I will make sure you will never have a private life again. Unless you don’t want to end up as that demoness that disappeared months ago, I’d suggest you leave.” people had rumors about Asmo making a high celebrity disappear after she threatened his precious human, at least this one was smart to run.

Asmo dusted off his hands with disgust written all over his face, as if he held something so unclean, while he watched the demon scram. He reverts back to his happy usual self when you come out of the dressing room, surprised to even see him here. 

“MC! Are those the clothes you chose? Oh I bet if you threw in this blazer or maybe these accessories it would look even better!” He’s now filling your cart with more clothes than you intended to buy. Don’t worry, it’s his treat!

Asmo did spoil you a bit too much for today, but that’s his way of apologizing for not believing you about your stalker. Though you did find out about it when he drunkenly admits what he did while you were in the dressing room. Barbatos overheard his little confession and decided to deal with the stalker for you. 

Beel

Beel is not too observant, but he’s always the first one to notice if you haven’t been eating enough. He’s heard that humans can lose their appetite (which he finds absurd) if they’re stressed enough, so he turns to ask you if you’re okay. 

You know you could be honest with Beel so you tell him everything. You’re feeling uncomfortable wherever you go because you feel that something has been following you but you don’t see anything when you turn around. 

By the time you finish your story, Beel has this sad look on his face before he moves to hug you. It’s comforting to be held by this giant with puppy eyes. “I didn’t know this was happening… I'll walk with you to school from now on. Is that okay with you?” And who could say no to him?

He’s always by your side after classes, looming over everyone that dares to come near you like a big guard dog. “MC, that person looks suspicious.” “Beel, that's just my classmate…” 

Whenever he’s too busy for Fangol practice, he sends over his twin or any of his brothers to be with you. It doesn’t matter who’s with you because what’s important to Beel is that you’re not alone for a single second. 

One day, he asks the brothers for help in practicing his throws for his next Fangol match the park, and you come along to watch Beel as he tosses the ball over to Mammon. Since the second born was the fastest among the brothers, he was in charge of catching the ball for Beel. 

It was going fine for the first few throws until he spotted a demon hiding by the trees, their gaze on you while you were cheering for Beel. His eyes darkened and without hesitation, Beel reels his arm back before throwing the Fangol ball with full force. Straight towards the demon. 

The amount of force was enough to snap several branches and twigs, and it even ran a hole into a thick tree trunk. The ball missed the demon’s head by a few inches but they knew that they were standing a bit more to the left then it could’ve been their head. Beel did that on purpose, as a warning. 

“OI! Beel what the hell is that?!” Mammon yelled but Beel paid no mind to his brother as he stared directly into the stalker’s eyes, full of killing intent. “Next time I won't miss.” He says, and the stalker ran for their life while they still had the luxury of keeping it.

He hears your cheers from the distance, impressed by the strength of his throw and in an instant, all of that murderous intent was gone. He has this happy look on his face while he lets himself enjoy your praises. 

It’s only later on after practice did he actually tell Lucifer so that he can deal with it, and you two decide to celebrate with a few snacks and drinks while the oldest was out there torturing the poor demon by the castle’s dungeon.

Belphie

“How long are you planning to lay there like a log…” Belphie murmurs, voice heavy with sleep. He noticed that you haven’t been sleeping, always too lost in thought even when he’s cuddling with you. “What’s keeping you up?” 

You tell him about your worries, that for some reason you always feel that there’s something following you wherever you go. Belphie would’ve joked about ghosts, that you were probably haunted or cursed. The dread in your tone is what stopped him and made him take you more seriously. 

Belphie put in more effort to try stay up more than usual when he’s with you. He’d play it off as an excuse to spend more time with you, but in reality he was trying to figure out the cause. If he was determined to do something, he would stop at nothing until he gets what he wants. And Belphie wants answers. 

Despite his half-open eyes, he was vigilant of his surroundings until he finally was able to figure out where this mysterious presence was coming from. It’s been following you both from the House all the way to RAD from a distance, but the youngest was able to trace the direction. He’s had enough.

The demon continued to stalk you from behind at a safe distance when you were going home, though when they blinked, Belphie appeared in front of them and completely blocked their view. 

“Sleep.” He commands as he places a hand over the demon's eyes. In an instant, they fell into a deep slumber with Belhpie’s magic.

In their dream, the demon found themselves chained up in an empty room with Belphegor looming over them. “You’re not waking up until you pay for what you’ve done,” He says with a playful smile. With a swift kick on the leg, the demon’s bones shatters. And then their arm, their other leg… It was an endless nightmare.

The pain was real and agonizing, but their actual body was fine. That nightmare served as a demonstration on what Belphie was willing to do should the demon try something like that again. 

Belphie stared down at the demon’s real body that was asleep, looking bored. He knows that the poor thing was being mentally tortured by him in the nightmare, but right now Belphie could care less and left them alone in the dark alleyways.

He has his arms around you as soon as he gets home, asking you how you’ve been doing lately. After you tell him that the weird feeling you’ve felt last week disappeared, Belphie is already dragging you to the nearest bed before you could expound any further.

“If that’s the case then it’s good enough for me. Come on, let’s go take a nap.”

What happened with Barbour ?

Dear Barbour Anon,

My favorite kind of Anon, even if I know the question has recently been asked again and not in this corner. Never mind, I think it's time to talk about it, too.

I bought my first Barbour (entry-level, so olive) Bedale wax jacket 25 years ago, from their (long gone, now) shop on Boulevard Raspail, in Paris. It was a mandatory clothing item to own if you wanted to properly mingle with the law school crowd (it still is) and it ended up being one of my most prized possessions, possibly a part of me. I still have it somewhere, back home. Two more followed, along with a fetishist array of shirts, scarves, beanies and even one of those sturdy crossbody bags you can fit half a house in. So you can imagine my absolute thrill when I found out, very very late, that S had had a rather substantial collaboration with them, from 2016 and until 2019.

I am very bad with timelines, as you probably know and possibly even cackle about, but still: S was appointed as the company's first ever Global Brand Ambassador on July 16, 2016. His mission statement was very precisely defined by the brand and for some reason we'll analyze a bit later, this is important:

A shirt and vest signature collection followed in 2017 and 2018, with the contract being renewed. Advertisement was absolutely gorgeous and designed to shape a very positive image, both for S and the brand. Last autumn's SS Gin promo retained some of that irresistible aesthetic DNA and I discussed it at length.

See for yourself, Anon. The fandom endlessly discussed the first long clip (with the chocolate labrador), but I have no idea if these two have been seen, let alone debated. If they did, let that be my nostalgic mistake.

Spring/Summer 2018:

Fall 2018:

And then disaster stroke, with S's trip to Ha-wa-wee 1.0, in the spring of 2019. A short reel, featuring a rather agglomerated boat trip, was posted on socials. Unfortunately for S, it also featured an allegedly horrifying scene involving the 'traditional' bludgeoning to death of a tuna fish. Emotions ensued and as it often happens here, they spun out of control. Many people, including some of the most vocal S haters, tagged Barbour in their diatribes, filled with environmentalist indignation. They suggested this guy (who did not participate to the savagery and I would be even unsure he realized what was going on) was, by no reasonable means, a proper 'embodiment of the brand's identity, values and aspirations' (remember that mission statement?).

Tone deaf as ever in the midst of a serious PR crisis, S put friendship above anything else, and publicly praised the boat's owner, calling him 'the heart and soul of the island', if I remember well. I still would like to think he has no idea what the hell exactly happened. And then, when somebody finally (August 2019) asked Barbour on Insta about their collaboration with S, they got this politely dry, but clear answer:

"We don't have any plans for a collaboration with SH in the near future" means, in my book and to my understanding, "we are never going to work with this guy again". Truly, some people in here who dare to give morality lessons to others, should be proud of themselves: they did it knowingly and in a very organized way, using multiple sock accounts, to give the impression of a collective retching reflex. To cut the story short, the dread of any ad campaign on this planet.

The effort was genuine. The result of that collaboration was very good. Take, for example, this somewhat heartbreaking customer review by an American guy who has no idea who SRH is and who bought one of those jackets from a Barbour factory warehouse, in 2021, with a hefty rebate (70% off). Clearly something Barbour wanted to get rid of at all costs - what a pity and really what a SHAME on all those hypocrites who will never admit to a public assassination by the book:

This time, I am absolutely not sorry for the length, Anon. This is something that still makes me boil. Unfairness and cheap nastiness simply disgust me.

To start off, I just wanna say that Fae (acuar-io) has some absolutely STUNNING sims, it's hard to exactly word it, but their sims are SUPER recognizable, and their saves (Snow flower, Cozy save, etc) are SO nicely edited, so aesthetically pleasing to the eyes 🫶😩

@oshinsimblr is the reason why I started storytelling (even before my simblr time) and why I try and find a story-related reason on why my sims/characters do certain things, her videos are also SO comforting and i love her lovesick series!!! and of course, @minimooberry the whole inspo for this simblr and why I render in blender!

@mattodore and @cinamun are AMAZING simblrs if u want rich storytelling and/or well-thought out characters, River has inspired me to really tear into my characters and give them more personality, and cina just genuinely makes such realistic characters and the tea is ALWAYS hot and simblr aside, she has very good takes >:P

@groovetrys and @circusjuney have been around on my blog and as my mutuals for a LONG time and they really are some of my biggest hype people, lori has an AMAZING legacy going on with her sim, Melody, and u should DEF check it out, and june makes the most amazing clown sims 🥹 theyre always so pretty and STUNNINGGGG

@jarakio has an AMAZING story called Girls with Guns and its prolly my fav story that ive read on simblr, the dialogue? amazing, the poses? amazing, the vibes? AMAZING, i'm ALWAYS hooked in whenever i see GwG pop up on my dash

do u have any tips for starting out your own blog? i’ve been writing for awhile now and want to start sharing my work, i just wanna know how to post and make everything look good 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

so some tips i can give you to start, have a pinned post to start. it doesn’t have to be anything fancy, just a simple pinned with important things your readers can access—view, like rules, byf / dni, masterlist, if requests are open or closed, and if you’re a mdni blog. this stuff’ll be important after you start posting and receiving interactions on your work ☝️

tag your work properly!!! tumblr runs on a tag system, and it’s important to use the right tags so you reach the audience that you want. there’s different kind of tags, like smut / fluff / angst. for individual characters, you’d tag it like (character x reader ) + ( character x you ) etc. for a fluff piece i did, here’s an example on the tags i used—

there’ll be different tags for different fandoms. so if you’re writing for the one piece fandom, it’ll be a tag like #one piece x reader | ALSO !!!! this is kind of optional, but i usually tag my works with fem! or female reader, in case others don’t want to see my stuff on their filtered tags. always specify what you’re writing for, whenever i write angst or fluff it’s usually gender neutral reader but for smut i always write fem! reader. you’ll notice how in my works when i tag the warnings, i add fem! reader near the very beginning so people know what they’re getting into !!!

as for the aesthetics go, you wanna sorta ‘stand out’ i would say. hentai / doujinshi banners are pretty known around the smut community, and you can find a lot either on twitter on tumblr by searching under the tag #mangacap . one popular manga i could recommend is called ‘lady k & the sick man’ and i made a tutorial on how to color them here !!!!

don’t base your works off notes. always remember, it’s not a competition but it’s completely normal to feel happy whenever you receive traction !!!! 💗 if you’re just starting out as a new blossoming writer, it’ll take a bit for your work to reach an audience but you just have to be patient. writing is meant to be a hobby, and it’s important to have fun while doing it!

INTERACT WITH PEOPLE 🫵🫵. this goes for reblogging other people’s fics, commenting, sending sweet asks, etc. throughout your time, you’ll get some nice encounters from people. you’ll even get some anons !!!!! making mutuals is my favorite part of tumblr i think, and yes it can be scary. im still shy to make mutuals but i looooove interacting with different people !!!! you just gotta remember, everyone’s been in your shoes before so don’t be shy.

i think the last piece of advice i can say, is to just have fun :) of course, tumblr isn’t all positive. there’s lots of negative sides about this platform and one of it is the harsh reality that not everyone will like your work. that’s just something you have to accept, you cannot cater to everyone and that’s fine! but, just remember there’ll always be that one person that genuinely loves your work and gets excited whenever you post. once you start posting, you’ll see what i mean 💗. don’t be discouraged if you feel like you aren’t receiving interactions right away, that’s normal and growth takes time. just know that i believe in you, and i wish you luck on your writing journey nonnie!!! mwah <3

Will post really sad, in depth posts talking about her experience with bullying and her family and how alone she feels sometimes and then reblog a bunch of bug photos (like, at least 20 in a row) and then go dormant for like 2 months and then repeat the cycle when she finally regains the energy to post

Alec: reddit, twitter. Reddit but only so he and Aisha can post like really outlandish obvious troll posts in aita and legaladvice, tumblr so he can stare at princecore aesthetic moodboards and nod approvingly (he will only like it but never reblog, his blog is like a barren wasteland)

Aisha: tumblr, twitter. All fucking over the scene kid aesthetic. Reblogs and retweets Kandi making tutorials and sparkledog ocs and 2008 geocities blinkies or something. Everyone always sends her asks and makes vague posts about forgetting they have her as a mutual

Brian: reddit, twitter. Retweets exercise advice and goes on a fuckton of exercise subreddits but also frequents parenting subs and asks questions on how to properly deal with whatever Aisha has done this week and everyone who comments thinks he is actually a dad and not just the world's most emotionally repressed 17 going on 45 yr old boy. Gets into arguments with obvious trolls all the time on both sites and gets really needlessly upset and personal over it. The person who argues with him most on Twitter is actually Aisha on an alt account (she knows it's him and is doing this for the bit, he does not know it's her)

Rachel: can't read or write v well :( but if she could it'd be tumblr maybe? Or twitter? Unsure. All I know is that her account would be filled with really blurry photos of her dogs with no captions or tags or anything with the occasional all caps really angry rant post about people petting her dogs without permission. The people that follow her are mostly there to study her like they're a scientist and she's an interesting discovery they've found under their microscope. They also all assume she's like 60 and not like 15

Lisa: twitter, reddit. Have few thoughts on her but if she were to get into arguments she would use "sweetie" "honey" and ":)" condescendingly to whoever she's arguing with. This isn't Lisa hate btw i just think she truly is That Person

SDV Aesthetic Mod Recommendations (1.6 Edition!)

I’m back with more mod recommendations that work with 1.6! This time, we’re gonna focus on stuff that mainly just changes how things look: recolors, portraits, animal skins, etc. No major gameplay changes, but the visual changes can really enhance the experience or make the game feel totally different! Again, links will be in a reblog. And you can check my ‘sdv mods’ tag for my other recommendation post!

So starting off, recolors. I have three that I really love: Vibrant Pastoral Recolor, DaisyNiko’s Earthy Recolor, and Starblue Valley.

They all tone down the saturation and give everything a softer, more natural look. Vibrant Pastoral is probably my favorite because it makes the scythe-able grass look like it’s full of wildflowers! Also of note, Starblue Valley’s 1.6 update is a work in progress, so some parts might not be properly recolored. It’s such a pretty recolor, but you might want to just track the mod for now while they’re hammering out the kinks.

Next up, portraits! First, I wanna talk about Seasonal Outfits.

I love that vanilla has beach and winter outfits now, and this mod takes that ten times further! Not only are there outfits for every season (with matching sprites), there are also unique outfits for festivals! I love all the Halloween costumes for Spirits Eve! There are seasonal mods for Stardew Valley Expanded and Ridgeside Village too!

Next, Nyapu’s Portraits.

I love the cute, old school Harvest Moon vibe these have, but one of the really great things is that Nyapu has made portraits for almost every modded character in existence. I’m fussy about getting my portraits to match, because it’s just weird when you’ve got totally different art styles for different characters, and that is a non-issue with this collection! If there’s a character mod, there is probably a Nyapu portrait. SVE and RSV are just the tip of the iceberg! Also Nyapu is a real life farmer when they aren’t making adorable portraits, which I think is just cool!

I made a post earlier about Elle’s Cuter Coop Animals/Barn Animals/Cats/Dogs/Horses, but it’s worth mentioning again because they’re just too cute and the huge variety of different colors and species is unmatched.

And I mean. Highland cows. Just look at them. Elle also has mods for seasonal farm buildings and farmhouse kitchens with lots of different options! You really can’t go wrong with any of Elle’s mods.

And speaking of farm buildings, one of my absolute favorites is Gwen’s Medieval Buildings, and matching mod, Gwen’s Medieval Craftables.

The antique, overgrown vibes are just gorgeous.

If I do UI recolors, I usually just pick one that matches my recolor (Vibrant Pastoral, Earthy Recolor, etc) but I recently discovered Lavender Dreams UI Recolor and I adore it.

The colors are just so nice and soft, and the accents of moss and leaves in the menu is just delightful.

I’m on mobile and running out of pictures, so I’ll just talk about the next three that change your character. First is Female Farmer Overhaul. Despite the name, everything is available to any gender, although the style is definitely more feminine. It adds a lot of new hairstyles, clothes, hats, and has the option of short or long sleeves so you’re dressed appropriately for the season!

Next is Animated Hair. It makes your hair move as you run, use tools and so on. There are lots of hairstyles and it just looks so nice!

And one last one, Expressive Elf Ears. Like Animated Hair, they move around with your character! They are so floppy! If you want a little fantasy flavor to your character, they’re a must.

You may or may not have been knocked out during your first encounter with one of your favorite heroes. By Robin himself.

Look, Damian doesn’t usually knock out innocent civilians like they murdered his cat or anything but you were a liability and a half.

Yeah, maybe revealing that you knew everyone’s identities wasn’t a good idea.

Besides Damian was kind of iffy about you since you were feeling up his body when he swooped in to save you.

(Turns out you were just confirming your theories but still)

Now the surveillance started mostly due to your uncanny encyclopedic knowledge of the Batfam and basically every other hero and villain out there.

Once they figured out you were basically harmless and just needed to get a better filter when it comes to things you say, you were mostly home free.

The thing is, the Batsons might have formed an obsession with you. Since you’re asking a yandere blog here, it was definitely not healthy.

They liked the idea of someone knowing them in and out. You’ve had competitions with Tim to figure out who knew the other better while Bruce and Damian just deadpanned in the background.

Dick loved entertaining your ships and headcannon questions. Bruce was more reluctant but found it to be a great way to incentivize you to behave and work with him better.

Jason just adores you. You’re the only younger sibling that isn’t stuck up or reminds him of his low self esteem and struggle to be a good vigilante. He was definitely weirded out at first but grew to be like Dick and definitely fuels your fan habits. Both guys definitely not so subtly strip in front of you sometimes so you can get more “reference” material.

Which brings me to the next point, who you choose to write or draw on your blog definitely gets discussed. Your blog’s every post is actively monitored at all moments. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bruce installed a large monitor in the Batcave just to watch over it.

Him and Tim definitely analyze your stats and help you with growing your blog. Watch Bruce spend thousands of dollars to get your page everywhere (subtly cause the first time he did it, you were so embarrassed you refused to talk to him for a week). Alfred works as your personal assistant when it comes to timing/scheduling your posts and making sure you tag them properly + have the most aesthetic formats.

Anyways, back to the discussing your posts thing, you learnt to make sure your posts, heck even your drafts, are all equal when it comes to who it features. Otherwise prepare to get overwhelmed with love bombing.

It took Damian the longest to warm up to you, but when he realizes how much you mean to him there’s no turning back. It starts from him unconsciously humoring your questions to full blown out debates over how he’d definitely win in whatever battle you pit him in your fanfics.

Speaking of fanfics, Damian loves to blackmail you about them. He’s the type of brother to love tormenting you about your totally ‘weird hobbies’ while simultaneously reading every piece of literature/art piece in your blog as if you’re bringing out the modern bible and he’s a staunch believer in the God that is you.

He then proceeds to critique your art and written works if not outright bash them.

You’d have been in tears from the essays he writes about you if you didn’t already know it was him.

Now when your powers awakened, you went from that one sibling that knew way too much to almost an essential part of their team.

Almost because every time you were allowed to go out, someone had to be on “mouth guard duty” for when you accidentally spill what you know.

You worked a lot with Bruce during those times. Who definitely flexes the hours you two spend in comparison to the batsons.
