ooh this is interesting. clover would never admit this but she is attracted to people who revere her. reverence, almost worship. a deep sense of loyalty and unconditional love. that is attractive to her.

i would say that she's found that in ricardo to a degree and that's part of what draws her to him. he holds her in high esteem, far more than she believes she deserves and she's drawn to it like a moth to a flame. the connection is undeniable no matter how much she tries to fight it

i wouldn't say that clover reveres people. she's not loyal; in fact she views those around her as disposable. people are a means to an end, items to be discarded. there is an unbreakable bond between her and ortega so i'd say she is in a way loyal to him and by the end of the second book she's learning what it means to love. but she definitely has no qualms about betraying people to get what she wants, especially early on in the books. she's very one track minded after her second escape and vengeance is her top priority

i have to note that despite her callousness she doesn't kill people; she's a bit of a softie despite her cold nature. idk she's a walking paradox at this point full of contradictions. that's what i love most abt her. she's complicated and layered and there are SO many mixed emotions fighting within her

Hi thank you!!!! Giving one from Vonzi's playlist this time:

Radical Face does so much for Voness Family Feelings. Vonzi is both the golden child and the scapegoat in her family's dynamic--literally chosen by the entity her mother worships as God's Favorite Child, and therefore the reason for the Voness Family's suffering. Vonzi absolutely internalized this role as she grew, understanding her place as the family's protector and bulwark against the world. Her family is her greatest weakness and what she can eventually die over.

Just... "If you wind up in the dark again/just turn and call my name / And if the fire in your chest goes out / Well I'll hold you all the same / And if you need to take this out on me / Well you know I won't complain..." This really just encapsulates how Vonzi feels regarding how her family sees and treats her.

Woljif's tail whips as it hangs loose from the battlement's stone where he's perched, impatience increasingly difficult to feign.

This was- maybe? Finally? The last boring crusade report in the queue of small parchments piled up next to the Commander, but with the half-elf studying each of them so meticulously, all he could do was sit and pout. Well, he could leave.

He peeks over to the person in question, their eyes still set on the paper, mouth stained by red lipstick flat in a straight line from concentration. The tiefling's eyes linger there as his tail switches from a frustrated rhythm to cat-like curiousness as pressure spreads cheek to cheek and his face warms up, and Woljif forgets - for a moment - that he's supposed to be really, really bored right now.

"You can just kiss me, you know." Rellihn breaks the silence, gaze still firm on the inked paper.

His eyes widen, head fully snapping to the side, where the staring is finally obvious. "Uh- What?"

He's heard it loud and clear, but the excuse was needed to gather up an evasive reaction.

The barbarian's head shifts and they look at him with the usual unimpressed stare, although the soft curve on one of the corners of Rellihn's lips says otherwise.

"You keep staring and waiting for me to notice and make the first move. You can just do it instead." Relly quips.

"C'mon Chief I wasn't- I don't-"

"Oh, really? Alright then." And just like that, they turn back to the war movement report, though the smirk stays.

The gears inside Woljif's head spin as fast as his heart is beating, part of his brain grumbles as it latches to the wounded ego, while the other does what it always does whenever Rellihn is around as something else than the Knight Commander.

Panics.

He blinks, slowly, and snorts as he hides behind a hand, face still burning. Maybe he should let the panicking side win sometimes.

It takes a hop and a step to place himself in front of the half-elf, and Relly's smile widens when they're pulled closer by the thief's dexterous hands, the report lost and forgotten to the floor when Woljif lips are pressed to theirs.

3. weapon of choice? any particular reason they chose their weapon?

classic revolvers are something he covets. you'd think its fangs bc of the whole vampire thing but he finds that very messy and undignified and monstrous.

the revolver obsession feeds into his love of typewriters too, since many of the first producers of typewriters in the states were gun manufacturers due to the similarity of the components (tiny mechanical hammers!)

4. how crafty/resourceful are they?

he's not super crafty but he's pretty resourceful! knows when to ask for help and when he can solve things on his own. he's decent at fixing cars and bikes, but only the basics.
