A short fic to kind of introduce people to my new Minister/Son of Discord character.

The Minister’s thumb comes to rest on the corner where the hall ends, and the drags it up the apex where the two walls meet until he’s standing again, hand running across the yellow floral wallpaper, looking for… For a sign. There’s nothing. He blinks his green eyes a couple times, pupils forming thin slits as he focuses in and looks for anything–any imperfection, any eyes, any cameras, any signs that something is there that should not be there.

One complaint/reaction we often get about Eureka: Investigative Urban Fantasy that I find really baffling is that we expect you to hide your PC's character sheet from other players at the table. A lot of people act like this is an impossible task, but, like tons and tons and tons of well-established tabletop games expect you to hide elements of play from other players? Poker? Blackjack? Go Fish? Uno? Settlers of Catan? DM screens?
