Me writing up character notes for my mortal lady for the next chronicle like "people are either going to hate her or tolerate her and that's how it's gotta be"
I've got "make her worse" disease

Adopted into the Puttanesca family then embraced when her time came, Florence has a solid decade's worth of experience under her belt as Kindred. Most of that experience is reflected in her strength + brawl and intimidation pools.
She has a complicated relationship with her sire, and tends towards being quiet to avoid upsetting him--best to be seen and not heard.

Anyone else not care if a character is “redeemable” even a little. Either they get better or they die terrible. I am not Anubis, weighing their hearts against a feather. I wanna see what else they can do and how they can grow or change or even get worse. Stop asking me if a character can be forgiven. I don’t care.

I’m watching Splash (1984) which is a romcom about a guy who falls in love with a mermaid, and when she chooses a human name she chooses Madison and guy says “that’s not a real name, but alright” which seems to imply that Madison was not a name until at least the 80’s and all girls named Madison are actually named after the mermaid. thought you should know

i really believe that discussing the character with someone who shares ur interpretation is the closest u can get to modern day philosophy. we are like plato and aristotle but talking about a fictional guys trauma
#even better with like ocs#having people who just understand the little guys in your head are sooooo good
