Path of Life Ramblings (Story Spoilers below)

mentally I compare Mylnar and Ulpianus a lot. They're both the 1 dude of previously all female groups (the Nearls and the Abyssal Hunters) and both hold the title of being basically the Eldest and one of the strongest of the group were a lot of the overarching lore comes from.

But, I dislike Mylnar. Mainly bc of how mean he is to Blemishine in her debut event and I kinda always hated how he felt like he wanted to drag everyone else into his permanent pity party (his voicelines making him out to be a complete Eeyore didn't help either). I'm guessing that he gets better in his own event (bc I still found him annoying in Near Light), but it's taking me a while to sit down and read it bc I still hold a grudge for how he treated Blemi (who is one of my fav characters) And what I heard from people who play CN during Path of Life's original announcement made me worried that I would fine Ulpianus either boring, or as irritating as Mylnar.

But that wasn't the case! Despite Ulpianus' withdrawn and similar stick up his ass attitude, it was easier to see that he like, cares about the other Hunters and other characters like Underflow & Jordi even when he's still refusing to actually team up with anyone else! I was actually really concerned about him by the end, bc what he's doing is incredibly dangerous and he doesn't even have someone to help him/witness the info he's about to gain if he loses himself to the seaborn. So I'm excited to see what happens when the other AH finally catch up to him, whether it be to help or capture him, or both. And maybe he also needs a lecture about how wonderful working with a team can be instead of wanting to carry everything himself.

I do have to say that it's also, kinda weird that Path of Life is when he's playable? Like, it ends with him vanishing to gain the knowledge that the Seaborn/Matus has on the past of the Aegir/The Firstborn, the danger of him maybe losing himself the same way Martus did and the other AH vowing to find him and bring him in for like, an actual explanation of everything. But now he's just...on the landship...still completely lucid....with an epilogue of his experiences being in his files...kinda working with the other AH now but not really

It feels kinda anti-climatic? Honestly it felt kinda weird how the narrative kept kinda asking us to doubt if he was still in the right mind when he never did or said anything for us to really doubt him besides like, refusing to work with others or explain more than what he viewed as the bare minimum. Also I kinda wanted him to like, actually have a moment where he accepts the other AH's help and officially joins them under Gladiia's command.... Tho it also kinda feels like Ulpianus was basically the only person they could have had as a 6* this event. The rest of the AH already released and Jordi & Irene are too early in their developments still to get alters. Lucilla's screentime would be too criminally low given what the story is trying to accomplish as well. I guess...maybe Underflow could have worked as the 6*? But I'm not super certain. And then it feels too early for Gladiia's moms as well.

But hey I'm glad I don't hate him. Now my next wish is that the next AH event finally lets Andreana and Iridescence join the fray. I kinda feel like Aegir would be interested in the church of the deep creating a half-abyssal, given their own difficulties with the procedure. (Also I just want Andreana to be more present in AH stuff....please HG...)

while i generally do agree that 'evil' depictions of thor are valid, seeing jotnar as like a race of people that are massacared is also ignoring a lot of the cultural context of the jotnar. Its generally accepted that the jotnar represented nature, more specifically, the often dangerous parts of nature. like aegir, the ocean whos married to ran who is literally the personification of drowning. while the æsir and vanir, on the other hand, represented aspects of society and civilization, so thor killing jotnar could be read as humanity prevailing over nature's forces. while its 100% ok in a modern context to reinterpret these stories as an allegory for genocide (and those stories are equally as valid) its also important to remember where they came from.

is this actually important to ur arguement? probably not i just have a special interest in the study old norse and germanic mythologies and i thought of this while reading ur posts :]

That's understandable, and I've heard that take too (i think uncited or can't remember where lol). My argument is that there are things to work with in regards to villainous Thor depictions. They're not necessarily pulled out of nowhere, and acting like there's no basis at all for them is weird.

A thing that occurs to me is how Claude acts a foil to Edelgard. During a GD run, he realizes that the Agarthans tried to feed him information to turn him against Rhea and the Church. Considering the timing of his brother’s invasion in Hopes, they could even have members active in Almyra as well. As such, Claude in Houses begins treating that information as suspect, at worst he doesn’t defend the Church from Edelgard’s attempts to wipe them out despite his beliefs while at best he realizes he was wrong about the Church. You could even explain his actions in Hopes as him never realizing the source of his info because of the lack of White Clouds, and as such never questions what he was led to believe because the Solon reveal after Solon was caught trying to feed him info never happened.

Now compare this to Edelgard, who blames Fodlan’s ills on the Church and formed her own ideals because of what her father told her. But prior to the event where she reveals her source, Hubert has an event where he explains that the Agarthans were the ones who experimented on Edelgard, killed her siblings, and made her father their puppet.  Not the nobility, like Edelgard previously claimed backed by Ionius himself blaming Aegir, but the group that consists of the likes of Solon and Kronya. And that this group has it in for the Church. Cornelia’s dying words reveal that while Edelgard may be the ones manipulating them, she is acting in such a manner that TWSITD believe she’s their puppet doing what they wanted her to do. What’s more is that Hopes reveals that Edelgard ignored how much influence the Agarthans had on the Imperial nobility, but she still goes to war in order to conquer Fodlan.

So Edelgard supposedly knows that her source was controlled by the Agarthans, she knows the Agarthans are against the Church with Thales himself telling her why they experimented on her, she deliberately ignores how much influence the Agarthans have on the corrupt Imperial nobility, and her going to war against Rhea was all part of the Agarthans’ plan.

At one point, I would have argued that Edelgard may be so traumatized by the experiments that she has this compulsive need to be the good guy and ignores reality. But with Hopes having her work for PR and knowledge of her information campaign in Houses, that really doesn’t seem to be the case. Even the Japanese lyrics to the game’s theme song make it out that Edelgard wavers before deciding to go through with the war during White Clouds. It ultimately is that Edelgard could have walked a righteous path, but instead went down the path she did so that she could get what she wanted.

Edelgard rejects the truth for her own desires, whereas Claude amended his ideals at the end of VW as part of his character growth. Edelgard is still going to fight for the ideals installed in her by the Agarthans as part of their plot, meaning her victory sees Fodlan as a whole be reshaped in their image (just not under their control). It’s why the villains win despite them being wiped out in the end cards.

IS4 is apparently focused on sami and im suuuuuper excited about that. we don’t have a lot of operators from sami much less story relevant ones.

but when i did my dive into arknights lore specifically the countries n shit thats when i noticed sami didnt have a lot!! and this was around the time they started to fill out info on other countries like getting the laterano event and the starting of the kazimierz events.  upon my research ive learned that budget frostnova from the original IS is sami related and her lore is so sad... much like frostnova...

these eldritch demons are held at by with the assistance of the Emperor’s Blades and i think its interesting that they contain fragments of the eldritch demons - its reminiscent of the abyssal hunters! with the seaborn stuff!   im super excited tho if im being honest i was definitely hoping IS4 would be saga focused bc im desperate for her to get a skin. what i am curious about is bc we lack sami operators especially 6s is that we’ll get an event then? we dont know who this purple haired girl is do we... who’d get the skin for this IS4? free operator? shalem was part of the troupe and highmore is aegir seaborn hybrid so theyve got connections to whats going on in the IS4. god im so EXCITED bc IS is definitely one of my fav parts of arknights

Ms sharks first couple days on land 

SkaSpec reverse AU Headcannons and incoherent plot under the cut

-after getting straight up almost murdered she would wash up on the shores of Sal Viento

-the streets/beaches were in a frenzy after the cultists were in a panic after learning that Ishar-mla was presumably murdered so they’re busy desperately trying to find a way to bring him back or something (I might cut that part out)

-Since Amaia is ““helping another aegir” lower Church of the deep members are the ones trying to act all hospital with their broken Aegir and lure Laurentina in but she was like something’s up no thank you 😊 

-They drop the act and try to kill her not realizing she’s an abyssal hunter 

-wipes the floor with them and then flees town almost dying again

-hobbles across the road until she finds an inland town

-here she passes out for a couple of days. Finally she stops to recover and learn more about Terra and her situation. Most people are very weary of her,  but she’s able to pry some info out of them before hitting the road again 

-becomes a wandering bounty hunter in order to 1) survive, 2) study and experience Terran art and culture and 3) get more info on the situation in Aegir

-also pockets a map on her travels during a particularly rough bandit tried to rob her. Based on her very basic knowledge from Aegirian seafaring maps she mostly sticks to the coastline until she can find a way to translate it 

HEADCANNONS:

Despite the language barrier, Laurentina would use her hands and gestures to get her point across, with varying degrees of success

Miraculously a small leather notebook/diary wasn’t Completely soaked when she was lost at sea. She uses it to sketch out old sculptures she finds interesting 

Travels mostly on foot, but there have been occasions where she hitches  rides with caravans 

This is just an excuse for me to think about her riding a horse across a bunch of fields like she’s a cowboy 

Can’t cook too well. Just never cooked back when she was in Aegir cause she was too busy hyperfixating on her sculptures and then her training

I hold onto every scrap of info about surrounding regions with Fódlan, and this is how I learn that Aegir apparently has a colony in Morfis. It's not a good look, but it's very Ludwig. Ferdinand has his work cut out for him, poor dear.

Edit: I'd say this is more headcanon than anything, since it doesn't say where the land is that they own. But it's an interesting/scary thought either way.

Personality: They are a very calm and collected person. They're both sweet and cool. They look after others when they can and are wary of strangers. They take care of others and are a bit of a workaholic. They have friends who help them balance out, and they enjoy drawing and writing. They always have a personal journal with them. They have more bite than bark and prefer to remain silent. They're very passionate, but they keep their emotions in check to some extent. They also have a laptop on them at all times.

Appearance: They're a human. They're about 5'7" and have long white hair and blue eyes. They're slender. They wear an eyepatch over a scarred eye of theirs.

Aerwyna - The First Mate

When creating outfits, she likes to use Calder and Delmare as models. She also enjoys swimming and sells her outfits. She also likes knitting and embroidering. She also likes crochet.

Appearance: She is a sea dragon. She is about 5'9". Her monster form has purple scales and wings. She has a human form where she has purple hair and red eyes. She's slim, but muscular.

Delmare - The Quartermaster

Personality: She is a bright and cheerful individual who takes her job seriously. She finds the fun in everything and turns it into a game. She works hard and never gives up. She adores her crew and is fiercely protective of them. She enjoys cleaning and cooking. She is also fascinated by weapons and blacksmithing. She can create anything out of nothing. She enjoys inspecting and selling weapons. As a model, she occasionally assists Delmare in the creation of outfits. She also is not allowed in kitchens.

Appearance: She's a skeleton monster. She has light purple eye lights and she is about 5'5".

Aegir - The Carpenter

Personality: He's a sensitive and caring individual. He's very serious and takes his job very seriously. He suffers from mild emotional constipation. He is constantly worried and concerned about others. He frequently has his nose buried in a book or avoids emotional conversations. He dislikes talking about his feelings and prefers to write a lot. He assists when he can and emphasizes the importance of being cautious. He spends his time writing, reading, and trying to remember things. He makes numerous attempts to assist. He takes his job very seriously and likes making things.

Appearance: He is a ghost monster who takes a human form. He has longish red hair, green eyes, and glasses. He's about 6'0".

Conway - The Boatswain

Personality: They're upbeat and cheerful, but also playful and flirtatious. They enjoy singing and performing, and they find enjoyment in a variety of activities. They worked hard to help others and to look after them whenever possible. Stringed instruments and the flute are favorites. They are both fascinated by music and charming. They are not permitted because they are unable to sew or knit. They occasionally assist the crew around the facility and are very clean. They enjoy the adrenaline rush and are a bit of a daredevil.

Appearance: They're a skeleton monster. They're about 5'9". Their eye lights are gold-like justice.

Calder - Rookie #1

Personality: He's quite flirtatious, a little rough around the edges, and quite playful. He genuinely cares about his friends and family. He's a smooth guy who can be harsh at times, but he's mostly nice to everyone around him. He enjoys drawing and sketching, as well as making and designing items for the group. He assisted Conway in the creation of their inventions. When Tethys gets a cold, he takes care of everyone and learns to cook. He's also quite charming. He really likes swimming and weapons, but can't sew.

Appearance: He is a sea dragon. His sea dragon form is like a leviathan. He is about 6'5" and he has longish green hair and blue eyes. He's muscular-ish and very strong. He's got a small scar on his left eye.

Personality: They're a sugary-sweet individual who taught everyone about deities and cooking. Delmare is not permitted in the kitchen. They're very mischievous and entertaining. They enjoy teasing others and pulling practical jokes on them. They are extremely cautious and concerned. They are very charming, and their cooking is just as good. They are very nice people who occasionally model for Aerwyna. They enjoy modeling and being painted on occasion. They are excellent sewers, but cannot knit. They don't like Blacksmithing and aren't fond of fighting.

Appearance: They are a skeleton monster. They're about 5'2". They have red eye lights. They have a large crack on their face.

Currently encountered Relics

Decided to visualise the two weapons of the band of Macguffins (affectionate) that the party have bore witness to.

Blutgang is of course the dagger that was recovered by the party and returned to the Aegir family, it’s distinctive character being it’s slightly undulated blade. The dagger also almost killed Phuzz, but we move. The abilities of Blutgang were also identified by Skwreeb, those being granting the wielder shorter rests and quicker attunement, as well as an ability to deal a single potent strike.

Then, Thunderbrand is the longsword wielded by Thalo, which (also almost killing Phuzz) was witnessed, and he also showed the party when they were in Olfield to imply the importance of their task, and establish that there were multiple weapons of this variety. The (quite) distinct feature of the blade is it’s multiple branches.

Though these weapons, and their contemporaries, remain somewhat a mystery to the party, there have been tidbits of information witnessed and gathered about them, which I suppose for the sake of recapping couldn’t hurt to catalogue here:

- A total of 7 of these weapons are known to exist, and they are associated with the 7 individuals who founded the continent of Elysia (though it was not named such until a lot later). To this day, the weapons are still associated with the leaders of the continents nations.

- Blutgang belongs to the Aegir family, and the Duke of Aegirfall, the minister of financial affairs

- Thunderbrand belongs to the family of the same name, who are the advisors of Parthus royalty

- The weapons were noted for their unique physical qualities, not being comparable to any metal, displaying a dull golden colour, and a texture more comparable to rock.

- The other unifying physical quality of the weapons are the orb-shaped “Cores” that are a dark red, and begin to glow when in an active state

- The weapons are seemingly dangerous to those not fit to wield them, as has been seen by them lashing out at Phuzz on more than one occasion

That’s about all the info concerning the weapons as a whole that has been gleaned, there are of course the individual names of the other weapons and their original wielders that were catalogued in the book found in the archives, but I won’t retread that here.

To go a little meta, the story of these weapons was the first piece of lore ever written for the entire setting, and has sort of been built around them. They are the be-all-end-all macguffins of the world lmao, but I’m looking forward to the elaboration of their abilities, origins, and uses in the plot of the campaign.

Ok, I keep seeing things about this (not this specifically, just the alternate deities in general, mainly for Mary) and I wanted to try finding alternative patrons for each of the shazamily/marvel fam except Billy. Mainly because I think it would be cool if all of them had a different set of patrons and because I don't think Billy needs a different set.

I'm also going to attempt to have zero overlap. As such, I'm going to try to keep to one pantheon per person and make it coincide with their ethnicity, because, to me, it makes more sense than having them all have greek patrons. Plus, I think it would be cool if each of them had patrons from different pantheons.(except for Mary and Billy who both have greek/roman patrons.)

I'm gonna stick as close to "courage, strength, speed, wisdom, power, stamina" as possible.

This is going to be really long because I added who god/goddess/ deity is and some of my reasoning for choosing them so everything's under the cut.

Mary's patrons first: Greek pantheon like Billy's. (because that's where her original patron set is from.) Soteria - courage. She's the goddess of safety, salvation, and preservation from harm. Alternatively, Sophrosyne, the goddess of self-control, could work as it takes a lot of self-control to not allow yourself to succumb to fear. Hera - power. One of her abilities is to bless people with clear skies or curse them with stormy weather and it would be a fair equivalent of Zeus in terms of power and importance. Adrastia - stamina. She's (the goddess not the nymph) the "unyielding" and "inescapable" goddess of rebellion, revenge, destiny, and the balance between good and evil, and often accompanies either Ares or Nemesis.(If you can't tell I love her, then I need to info dump more) Zephyrus - speed/flight. There's a disappointing lack of names that start with the letter "z". Don't get me wrong I think he's a pretty good addition to this line-up, but I really wish there were more alternatives. Arete - strength. She was Heracles' teacher and a goddess of justice. Metis - wisdom. She's the goddess & personification of cunning. Mnemosyne, goddess of memory, would also be a good alternative.

I wanted to give her Achlys(Primordial Goddess of Night) and Asteria(Goddess of falling stars and nighttime divination) as alternatives, for an alternative to "power" but neither line up with the character's power set. (plus Achlys is the goddess of sadness, misery, and poison so... Still love her tho.)

Freddy's patrons: Norse pantheon Skadi - stamina. Goddess of winter, the hunt, justice, vengeance, and righteous anger. Hermod - courage. He's the son of Odin and he rode to Hel to try to save his brother, Balder. That takes guts. Aegir - strength. He's the norse god of the sea. Z - power. there aren't any z names in norse mythology so I'm going to do a Þ name instead. Þórr aka Thor. Although if you think that's too low hanging of fruit, s is the closest phonetically to z so Sol? She's the goddess of the sun. Vali, god of flight, could also work. Aurvandil - speed. His name seems to come from Auza-wandilaz as a compound meaning 'light-beam' or 'ray of light'. There's not much about him but I'm going to take it as he's fast as light. Mimir - wisdom. Aesir god of wisdom.

Pedro's patrons: Aztec pantheon S - speed. there aren't any that start with 's' so i'm gonna use phonetics to my advantage again. Cihuatecayotl (roughly pronounced 'see-wah-teh-kye-olth') is the god of the west wind. Huitzilopochtli - strength. God of will and the sun, patron of war and fire, the lord of the South. Atlahua - power. He's the god of water, fishermen, and archery. This doesn't make perfect sense for the line up but it's better than other options I found. (Tlāloc- god of rain, lightning, thunder, and storms- would be a better fit, except for the fact his name doesn't fit with the acronym.) Zacatzontli - wisdom. God of the day road. He can be a protector of merchants. Atlatonan - stamina. Goddess of earth and water. Mixcoatl - courage. God of the Hunt and the Milky Way.

Eugene's patrons: Chinese pantheon (I gave him orange because his suit color is gray and there's no gray color choice.)(I regret researching chinese mythology because all of it confuses me. It is interesting tho.) Shi Gandang - strength. Chinese god and the protector of the home. He was originally a spirit sent down from Mount Tai by Bixia Yuanjun to protect ordinary people from evil spirits Hebo - stamina. He's the god of the Yellow River. Some of the world's greatest floods accompanied by massive loss of human life have been due to the Yellow River overflowing its banks and even shifting course and establishing a new river bed. Ao Guang - power. He was apparently an a**hole that caused chaos via storms. There were only 2 guys with names that start with the letter 'a' that I could find. Zhuge Liang - wisdom. He is recognised as the most accomplished strategist of his era. He was a Chinese statesman, military strategist also known as Sun Wukongegist, chancellor, and later regent of the state of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period. Azure Dragon - courage. I chose him for courage because (1) he symbolizes the approaching of spring, new life, and plant growth, and I thought it might fit in a symbolic way(because change can be scary), and (2) there are only 2 guys with 'a' names. Monkey King - speed. He is able to travel 108,000 li (54,000 km, 34,000 mi) in one somersault. (how a somersault translates to speed I have no idea, but that's how they put it in the wiki. "he's so fast he can travel this many miles in one somersault".)

Darla's patrons: African pantheon Sudika-mbambi - strength. He's a hero and son of Kimanaueze and is an Ambundu mythological figure. He's featured in several Ambundu legends and is well-known for his feats as a child hero in Angolan folktales. His story also became the origin myth for thunderstorms, with Sudika-mbambi representing thunder. Huveane - courage. There's only 1 god that I can find whose name starts with a 'z' and I search him up and his name actually starts with a 'c'. Best I could find was: Eshu - God of travelers, roads, crossroads, fortune and misfortune, spirit of trickery and chaos who leads leading mortals to temptation and possible tribulation in the hopes that the experience will lead ultimately to their maturation; Iansan - Goddess of the winds, hurricanes, and tempests; Nyame - Sky God; and Anzar- the God of rain. I'm leaning towards Iansan. Amadioha - power. He's the spirit of thunder and lightning of the Igbo people of southeastern Nigeria. Mukasa - stamina. god of prosperity, harvest, fertility, and health and is also associated with divination and prophecies. Mukasa was originally a hero who ascended to become a deity. He's also recognized as the guardian of Lake Victoria. He's from the Baganda religion. I figure you've gotta have a lot of stamina to become a hero and then ascend to deity-hood, and harvesting crops takes a lot of stamina.

Bonus Celtic Pantheon: Sulis - stamina. She's a goddess of nourishment, healing, and curses. H - courage. either: Nehalennia - a sea goddess in Zealand or Cailleach - goddess of the cold and the winds. Ambisagrus - power. God identified with Jupiter Optimus Maximus(aka god of the sky and thunder). Z - skill or speed. there's no z so I'll try to find the next closest thing. Vesunna - goddess of prosperity, abundance and good fortune. (skill) Visucius - god identified with Mercury. (speed) Andraste - strength. goddess of victory. Her name has been translated as meaning "indestructible" or "unconquerable". Medb - wisdom. She's strong-willed, ambitious, cunning and promiscuous, and is an archetypal warrior queen.

Extra Bonus Japanese Pantheon: Susanoo-no-Mikoto - power. God of storms, as well as the ruler of the sea in some cases. He is also somewhat of a trickster god, as Japanese mythology extensively documents the "sibling rivalry" between him and Amaterasu. Hachiman - strength. God of war and the divine protector of Japan and its people. Originally an agricultural deity, he later became the guardian of the Minamoto clan. Amatsumara - stamina. God of iron-working. Benzaiten - wisdom. She is the goddess of everything that flows: words (and knowledge, by extension), speech, eloquence, and music. Ame-no-Uzume - courage/happiness. Commonly called Uzume, she is the goddess of dawn and revelry. Mizuhanome - speed. Goddess of water.

Sorry for the sudden ask but I had something I really wanted to talk to you about, mainly about Mary Bromfield (twin version or college age version, either) and her patrons, because, wowie, it sparked a lot in my brain microwave

So, in her first appearance, Mary had a completely different set of gods and patrons who gave her powers, but they still spelled out SHAZAM in the end due to the connection with the wizard.

This was really interesting to see, even more so that most of them were women and that her strength came from Hippolyta herself! Of course a major Goddess like her would have to have been there instead of Zeus, kinda funny, and the connection to Wonder Woman and the Amazonians would have made for an incredible story arc!

However, some of the others didn't set well with her/I didn't think were all that great in my opinion. Grace and Beauty? The times back then kinda influenced her powers to reflect a more feminine version of Captain Marvel, but I think we could do better.

It took me some time, but I ended up compiling a little thing of possible patrons for Mary

I figured that Mary should stick to having a connection with Solomon as her source of wisdom, since I feel that it's her strongest power out of all the ones she's forged a bond with. It also gave me the idea that if any of the other marvel family members made new contracts, they would stick with one of their former patrons that they resonated with the most. Also, you would not BELIEVE the amount of stress I went through to find someone, ANYONE, with a name that started with the letter Z and was not Zeus! Holy cow.

Let me know what you think, and if you have any ideas of what other patrons Mary could have instead! I'm absolutely buzzing with energy over this girl!

And yeah she could do a lot better than having Grace and Beauty as powers (though that was a product of the time and largely didn't contribute anything to her character since she was just as powerful in a fight as Cap)

So not only has Mary had those patrons listed above (and the regular set that Billy has) but she has also had a set of entirely Egyptian ditties (courtesy of Black Adam).

Also fun fact: originally the S was supposed to stand for Sappho but in development the creators were worried people would think she was a lesbian. (It's one of the fun meta reasons I headcanon my girl as Sapphic)

But who would I use for her acronym? That's so hard and I went down several Wikipedia holes while contemplating this. One of the hard parts was the fact that so many cool women in mythology had names that start with A and I could only choose two.

H: Hippolyta (Strength)

A: Artemis (Skill)

Z: Zephyrus (speed/flight)

A: Atalanta (Courage)

M: Minerva (Wisdom)

I didn't change much because I liked most of the dieties used. I was going to have the Wisdom of Athena but then I'd have to get rid of one of the other two so I kept her Roman equivalent (basically the same reasoning as to why Billy has Mercury instead of Hermes). Atalanta could also provide speed because she was well known for never being beaten in a fair foot race. In that case Zephyrus would supply flight and minor elemental control.

I really love the idea of having Sappho as one of her patrons but f Billy gets to have Solomon randomly in his acronym then its fine. But I'm not 100% sure what power she would give Mary.

Since nearly everyone and even LW themselves seems to forget about her. I totally would’ve been down for Ran to have become an actual playable unit and having her own art instead of being a mermaid mob but that dream is probably dead :/
