Okay, so… playing with well-established characters as babies (not to mention a character who is canonically dead in the current storyline) was kind of doing my head in. As cute as baby Victor is, the gameplay was not working for me, so I decided to try something else. New idea is based on comments made on one of my posts from back in January about the realistic childbirth mod.

I still haven’t decided whether this is an AU or not. For the moment, please assume that it is, because a baby would 100% derail my current storyline and I don’t know if I’m ready to commit to that much chaos.

Anyway...

If you’re following along with We Are Sugar Valentine, you’ve already met figure skating coach Nikolai Pavlenko and his ex-wife/current lover Anya. They’re insatiable, which increases the potential for an “oops” baby. They are also two of the people in my fictional universe who are probably worst-equipped to be parents without actually being completely horrible individuals (looking at you, Hana Okamoto & Ren Kitagawa).

They're back in Brindleton Bay, trying to cope with the reality of their unplanned baby, Alexandra (a.k.a. Sasha). It's... not going anything like it does on TV and in films (their main source of information up to this point), and they’re feeling misled and somewhat overwhelmed.

This is Nikolai’s house, which is now the family home since Anya moved in and Sasha was born.

#Day58 - Feb 27th - It's February Vacation! So for today's Arts & Sciences, I gave my 5 year old and 8 year old sons a painting lesson. We talked about using acrylics, mixing paints, and using the right size brush for the job.
