Pales tine’s Shadow

As a Palestinian myself, seeing the Dome of the Rock with Palestinians in Shadow’s debut game Sonic Adventure 2: Battle meant the world to me as a child. Palestinians have always been erased from the public. If you said Palestine, people would “correct” you by saying, “you mean Isr4el” and I have many painful memories of this erasure throughout my life.

Shadow has always been my favorite character of any media, and as a child, I liked to headcanon him as Palestinian because of the rare appearance of Palestinians in our homeland, his story arc (targeted and imprisoned by an oppressive military force for no reason besides their own personal gain, his grief and anger over his best friend’s murder, etc), and the silly idea that whenever he held a green chaos emerald, he was the colors of the Palestinian flag :)

The patterns on Shadow’s quills is called tatreez, a traditional form of embroidery from Palestine for women’s dresses and such. Many Christmas sweaters will actually use tatreez, but not many know of it because of the erasure Palestinians constantly face.

Don’t let them erase us.

🧸Stuffie Care Tips!🧸

Keeping your stuffie friends clean, healthy and happy is super important, but can be very intimidating if you don't know how. A lot of people are afraid of messing up their beloved friends. Hopefully this post can help!

៚ ⋯⋯⋯ ˁᱸᲲᱸˀ ⋯⋯⋯⋯ ༄

Tip 1: Lint rollers!

These are super cheap and easy to find at basically any store. They won't pull out your friends fur or hair, but they are great for removing loose dirt and dust. We recommend going over your stuffie friends with a lint roller at least once a week or after any trip out (especially during pollen season!) Make sure to get under their arms and behind their ears!

Tip 2: Unscented Wet Wipes

Scented ones work too, but we prefer unscented because of our sensitive skin. These are great for giving your stuffie friends a proper cleaning. We usually use 4-5 wipes for a standard 16 inch BAB plushie. Your stuffie should be damp after being thoroughly wiped down. We like to gently rub in circles all over their plush. After they've been cleaned make sure to use a towel to dry them. Most stuffies will be dry in just a few minutes! We recommend wiping your stuffie at least once a month, more often if they are going out on adventures or spending time around food and drinks!

Tip 3: Slicker Pet Brushes

These brushes are perfect for most stuffie friends, especially Build a Bears and other stuffies with straight fibers for fur/hair. They separate fibers and detangle easily. We like to brush against the direction the plush lays (against the grain) and then with the direction it lays (with the grain). Don't press too hard when using them. If you notice the brush is full of your stuffie friends fur/hair after brushing, stop using and refer to tip 4. These brushes can be found online and in most pet stores and sections.

Tip 4: Detangling Brushes

For stuffies with curly, textured, or older fur/hair, a detangler is the best option for brushing them (they're also great for human hair too!). See how the tines are different lengths? This helps detangle, but they're also soft plastic so they won't pull fur/hair out while brushing. If they snag on a knot the tines will bend and the knot will slip off without damaging or ripping anything out. We have a bear with loopy fibers mixed into his plush. A detangler keeps him soft and clean without damaging him at all. These brushes can be found online and in the human hair-care section of most stores that carry brushes.

Whether you use a slicker or a detangler, giving your stuffie friends a good brushing at least once a month (and after baths!) will help keep them soft, clean and happy!

Suga is loved by everyone in the community, he's seen as such a sweet person, always kind and caring and all around the perfect person if you need someone to cheer to you up. Anytime you offer ideas, plans, dates, even ask him something that redirects his way of thinking gives him comfort. Asahi will have the confidence to tell you someday, don't worry.

This absolute little shithead demon has such an obsession with stuffing every hole possible with his cum. Nishinoya has so much energy and stamina. Too much for his own good and this follows him even into sex. He can go for hours, while just having small breaks. He understands when you say no and can't keep going, a bit sad he'll happily clean you up, cuddle and give you all the forehead kisses you can ask for.

The storm raged outside the doors of the Bobbing Cork, though inside the lights shone warmly against the gloom.  It was a quiet evening, with custom being as slow as it ever got–which meant not very.  Traffic had picked up between the Shroud and Coerthas, and the outpost of Revenant’s Toll having built up over the years and being almost as close as Ishgard meant almost all travelers coming from that side of Eorzea inevitably ended up at the inn.

Through the doors came an adventurer–not an uncommon sight by any means–bundled up against the weather, pack upon their back, hood pulled up to cover the face.  Unremarked, they headed to the counter like anyone else, before shaking the covering from their head.  Dark hair shone in the light, blue like the storm outside tinting the edges.  Aeluuin the innkeep shouted in surprised recognition, catching the attention of a few of the patrons, who now looked at the newcomer with curiosity.  

The lady chatted amicably for several minutes with the staff, a friendly argument obviously arising as her coin was pushed back to her once, twice, three times before she sighed and put the gil back into the pouch at her side.  It was not often that someone would be allowed to keep their gil, instead of paying fairly for their lodging, but this adventurer must be someone who was owed a favor.

Placing her bag in the corralled area with the rest, the wood wailer nodded to her amicably before his own eyes grew wide, and he adjusted some of the belongings so her’s was closest to him, and most protected.  An amused smile graced her lips as she pulled a harp out from its case attached to the pack.  The filigree walking stick that had been in her hand went with the pack as well–some noticing that it looked more akin to a mage’s staff than a fancy hiking aid.

Whispers had started as they saw the instrument, the musician finding a spot to play–and gathering some odd looks when she balanced on the upstairs rail, looping a foot around the tines and tuning the harp.

“Who’s this third-rate fool that’s about to play?” the words were loud enough for almost the whole room to hear, but it only made the adventurer's mouth twitch into a smile, her blue eyes scanning the room.  The man’s refill came with a gentle smack upside the back of his head from his server.

“Hush you, if you don’t know who that is now, then you’ll figure it out soon enough!” Y’lantaa scowled down at the patron, green eyes flashing, before turning to help another guest with their order.  All around, people adjusted their seats to try and glimpse the Miqo’te who was preparing to play.  Most assumed (partially right) that it was how she was paying for her fare, but the few that recognized her already were watching wide-eyed that they were about to get this performance at no cost.

The harp strings sang, the opening chord one of joy and happiness, yet a calm tune to match the storm.  Conversations drifted off, chatter dulled, and a lull overtook the establishment as the true magic of a full Bard resonated against the rafters.  As the first song came to a close, a rustling of hushed whispers wove a background to the applause.  Could it really be her?  Why would she want to play in this small hamlet?  Surely she could easily be the guest of the Seedseer! Or the Sultana or the Lords of Ishagard!  What was she doing here? For one and all had figured out the mysterious stranger was none other than Karoiseka O’dayla; archer, bard, Saviour of Ishgard, Eorzea’s Champion, Liberator of Ala Mhigo and Doma, Savior of the Star.  Warrior of Light.

Heedless of the whispers, she launched into another song–one unheard in this world, but a simple shepherd's song sang in a community much like this.  It was familiar and not, one could almost hum along before the tune changed just subtly from what expectation allowed.  One after another, she dazzled one and all–mixing songs they knew with tunes they would never hear again.

After a bell or so, Karo felt a nudge on her shoulder, and a familiar face looking down with a smile.  The harp was held loosely for the moment–but not forgotten as she turned to half-hug L’selle, come to bring her a drink.  Mischief could wait for another night, for tonight was a night of magic, and after downing the cider, was woven once more.

Thoughts on billy/possessed billy from adventure tine?

Being asked my opinion on unconventional characters is so much fun.  

I haven’t watched Adventure Time in a looong while. And when I missed entire seasons. Billy I remember, but I don’t think I saw the Lich. But the fandom thinks he’s terrifying, so I know of him. Marshall Lee, Prismo, and the Hierophant can all get it, though. 

But I really like male possession…

…and grotesque evil overlords. And he’s voiced by Ron Perlman? 🫣

Adventure time au i've been working on for a while:

It's a roleswap between Simon and Betty, but instead of it always having been like that, Betty put on the ice crown in an attempt to understand how it works during the episode with the same name, and Simon having to become a vampire in order to not die of old age. Over the next few weeks, she becomes more and more insane from the influence of the crown, all while trying to conceal said madness and research it.

The story continues as usual except for him and Betty switching up until the build up to elements, where (for whatever reason), Patience had failed to preserve herself for 1000 years. Simon's plan at this time to free Betty from the crown is to overload it with ice magic (potentially via Patience's ghost, but I'm unsure), which leads to Betty (now known as the ice princess) placing ooo into a second ice age.

During this arc, Finn and Jake return to Ooo to find it not made of four elements, but just one; an arctic wasteland, patrolled by ice monsters on the hunt for Simon, who is now in hiding, along with fern, one of the few survivors of the freeze. The team would then have to gather the various elemental gems, now controlled by icy versions of their respective elementals, in order to cast the enchiridion's purification spell.

The biggest deviation from the main cannon is at the end of the arc, when magic Simon's plan to wind back tine and stop the crown being found partially succeeds, and he and fern(who is undergoing an identity crisis) are sent through time, first to the docks where the crown was bought, eventually back to its creation. This unfortunately is interrupted by finn and Jake, who have convinced prismo to teleport Simon and Fern to the time room. Whoever is dealing with the messed up timeline (scarab or prismo) would have Betty sent to Golb's dimension, margles-style to prevent Simon being able to reach her, but just before he has his magic stripped as a further precaution, he pulls a magic man and swaps places with old man prismo.

There is so much more in the timeline, but I'm too tired to talk about it ATM. I will continue to post about it soon.
