As far as I’m concerned the most challenging of #thecoremaster exercises is being able to hold onto the The CoreMaster with one’s hands while lifting one foot off the ground. You can see how unstable I am yet this is the best I have done so far. This must be one of the most challenging instability exercises I know of. Just giving you a little tour of Lee-valley athletics centre and showing you what you can do that’s a little different from the norm. The athletic centre has both an indoor and outdoor running track add all the Olympic sports facilities. Included I three gyms Including cross fit weight training and North London weight training as Wellers a cardio area with free weights and kettle bells. If you fancy a little stretch you’ve got Gary Grey stretch machine. However I’ve also included some of the exercises I do happy athletic centre that most people wouldn’t think about. Single Arm Planche? Plank? I don’t know what to call this, but it’s a trick I stole from my old days of burlesque, only I’m focusing on getting more into the horizontal plane. It’s not obvious, but one arm is bent and the elbow is tucked into my hip. I like to tell folks, "elbow yourself in the ovary!" The other hand is taking about 10-30% of bodyweight, depending on how stable I am. It wasn’t until I really visualized the superficial back-line and connected my spinal erectors to my hamstrings that I was able to get adequate glute activation to hold the plank together. If your glutes aren’t contracting, you’ll never get this one.
