Isekai'd as Marinette Fanfic Idea

Okay, not saying I'm going to be the one to write it, but wouldn't it be cool if we got a 'woke up as her' fic where someone woke up as Marinette before the events of the show (preferably before 'Derision' so Chloe and Kim are their friends).

The OC/reader remembers the WHOLE show (and also remembers how much they hated the later seasons and Marinette), so they go through the show and fix pieces they don't like unintentionally affecting the show in ways they didn't think about.

Also their version of Ladybug would fawn over Chat Noir but would be friendly around Adrien (they love both, but feel Adrien needs a friend first whereas Chat needs love). However Adrien falls for Marinette (the OC/reader) first. So this unintentionally swaps the love square as well.

Again, I'm not sure I'm going to be the one to write it because I already has three fics (Miraculous Quad, Alterbug, Butterflies and Kittens) that are stuck in Season 1. But it'd be really cool to have it written because I think it'd be super cool.

But the reason why I decided to make a Adrien x Fiancé fanfic was because I always liked the trope and never found any with Adrien. I feel like because of his father, it could be possible for Gabriel to arrange something like that 🤷🏽‍♀️. And I just love arrange marriage or marriage of convenience trope. I hope you guys enjoy !

part 2

A month after Emily’s funeral, Gabriel went to the Sinclair mansion to talk about the Emily’s last dying wish. They walk into Raphael’s in home office, “ So what did you want to talk about Gabriel,” Violet asked following them. “On her death bed, Emily asked of something..” Gabriel started as Violet perked up at the mention of her deceased best friend. “ It’s been a topic we all considered, but she asked for an engagement between Adrien and Evelina.” After Gabriel saying the reason why Emily wanted this arrangement for Adrien, Violet was fine with the engagement; Raphael was a bit harder to persuade but he eventually agreed to it. So after a month of preparing the contract and talking it over, Adrien Agreste and Evelina Sinclair at the age of twelve and unknown to them at the moment were now arranged to marry after high school. When they told Adrien and Evelina, they were clearly shocked.. and flustered as they looked at each other in realization at the changes of their relationship. They've known each other all their lives but an arranged engagement between fourteen year olds was a bit taboo. The weeks after the announcement was a transition. At first it was kinda awkward, it was like they were force to cross the line between friendship and relationship and they weren't prepared for it but soon enough they got used to the idea. When they told their childhood friend, Chloe about their engagement she teased and bluntly said, “Well even without your parents arrangement, it would happen eventually. It’s so obvious!”

after as long as Evelina could remember, she had always had a crush on Adrien Agreste. She loved almost everything about him. How kind and thoughtful he was. How he always was a gentlemen to her. How he almost never rises his voice. How he calls her Princess and treats her as such. As she lists off all the things she loves about him, it only made her think of her Auntie Em (Emily ) and how much she missed her. She was there for all of her big milestones so far. like a second mom. She encouraged her when she was nervous about starting her modeling career, went to all her ballet recitals, helped mom with teaching her about her period, and taught her to used make up with mom. There was probably more from when she was a kid that she didn’t remember from being so young. It had been a couple of months after Emily had passed but whole family, especially Mom , had trouble with getting over her passing. So when Dad’s Modeling agency needed them to move to California, after talking it over with Mom, They decided it would be better for the family if they moved.

Evelina wasn’t happy with the decision of moving to California. She didn’t understand how being away with help with grieving. She also didn’t like the idea of being away from Adrien and Chloe. They were her only friends and being home schooled didn’t help. When She told Adrien and Chloe her family was moving, Adrien was sad and Chloe angry, saying “ Ridiculous, Utterly Ridiculous! How is moving to California gonna help anything!?” After moving she stayed in touch and started a long distance relationship with Adrien. They would call, FaceTime, or text almost anytime they could but with both of their modeling careers it was hard but they made it work.

One day on Face time, Adrien was ranting about wanting to go to school, make more friends, and how Natalie stoped him from entering Chloe’s school. As he plops onto the couch, he notices a little box on his coffee table. Evelina watched through the phone as he opens it, Adrien looked around talking to what seems like air. “ Adrien what are you looking at,” she asked him confused. “You don’t see it,” he asked, pointing at the air. She replied with a confused “no.” She continued watching with a confused expression as Adrien talks to air until he suddenly yells a “Plagg, Claws Out!” And turned into a boy wearing a leather cat suit with ears and tail? “ I’ll explain everything when I comes back Princess, I have a villain to defeat,” he says to Evelina smugly with a smirk before hanging up and try to defeat an Akume for the first time.

I go to america for around eight years because of *reasons* to live with my father Spencer Reid (of criminal minds) and I come back around the time the series starts.

Adrien Agreste and Evelina Sinclair’s Mothers, Emily Graham de Vanily and Violet Whitmore, were childhood friends from high school. Once they got older and were both married, Emily to Gabriel Agreste an upcoming fashion designer and Violet to Raphael Sinclair whose family own a famous modeling agency. When they went through their pregnancies together, having Adrien and violet they always joked saying they’d be best friends or hopefully end up together. As they grew up and grew closer at the age of ten their fathers started thinking what if they were engaged when they were older? It would help with each others companies, and they were already fast friends, maybe it would work… they talked it over with Emily and violet. They didn’t really like the idea of forcing it on the children, so they just kept it in the air a while. when Adrien and Evelina were twelve, Emily started getting sick. She would get dizzy spells, randomly feeling weak, and would cough up blood. The whitmore family would visit the Agreste mansion often to keep her company and so Adrien and Gabriel wouldn’t be alone during this time. As Emily laid in bed she told Gabriel to go on with the agreement of the arranged married for Adrien and Evelina. Gabriel looked at her tired eyes confused, he knew his wife would never force this on her son and there would have been a reason for her to change her mind. “ you changed your mind ? But I thought-,” before Gabriel could finish Emily coughed and explained, “ I can’t leave Adrien alone in this world, and I can tell he already loves her, call it mothers intuition,” she joked. When Emily soon passed, Gabriel closed himself off of everyone, even the from his son and family that his was so close too. He felt as if every time he saw them he’d get reminded of His Wife. During that time he started neglecting Adrien emotionally, not realizing that it may have been his wife that had died but she was also his mother, his whole world from the moment he opened his eyes.

when Emily died, Adrien couldn’t go to his father, so instead he went to the Sinclair mansion often to see Evelina or just to be there. Evelina, Eve, his best friend, she knew him like the back of her hand. She saw how he pretended to be okay. One of the days that Adrien had came over she was done with his act. Him pretending for his father, for the press, “ for the company.” As Adrien’s father would say it. So as they walked in the backyard garden, Eve said softly as they held hands, “ you don’t have to be okay, you know ?” Adrien stoped walking abruptly and stared at her in disbelief that she had noticed. “ it’s okay to miss her Adrien..you don’t be to pretend to fine, especially with me.” She step forward and hugged him as he silently started crying. He didn’t have to say anything for to know. As he sobbed into her shoulder with her hand running though his hair as Comfort as they crouched down to the garden pebble pathway.
