Alexios se retourna vers son amie, haletant légèrement alors qu’il rangeait son arme.

« Quoi? »

« Toi. Brave. Gagne quatre-cents répétitions de chanson sans jugement. »

Il lui tira la langue, roulant des yeux.

« Tu sonnes comme une barbare. »

Adrasthée prit un air choqué, portant les mains sur son cœur.

« Tu me blesses, Alexios. »

L’interpellé rit doucement, avant de se retourner vers l'animal qu'il avait éliminé. Le loup, allongé sur son flanc, avait les yeux vitreux fixé sur un point à l'horizon. Il était gros, bien trop gros pour n'être qu'un animal ordinaire, et si ce n'avait été de ses vieux réflexes, le jeune Thébain serait probablement mort une seconde fois. Il donna un léger coup de pied sur l'une des pattes de l'animal.

"Trois millénaires et c'est encore pleins de monstres," il soupira, "toujours pas un signe d'Apollon non-plus…"

"Il doit être occupé," Adrasthée secoua la tête, "ou peut-être qu'il est avec Ama…"

"Je le souhaite…" Alexios s'éloigna de l'animal. "Elle doit être… tellement confuse…"

Son amie haussa les épaules.

"Elle en a vue des pires… si toi tu as été capable de t'adapter…"

"Hey!"

"Ce que je dit c'est que Ama et moi, on a grandit dans le bizarre. Ça ne nous fait plus rien. Toi, non. Si quelqu'un qui a été élevé comme mortel peut comprendre et pas perdre la tête, elle aussi doit bien pouvoir le faire!"

Alexios roula des yeux.

"Je ne peux pas croire qu'on soit fraîchement sortis d'Hadès et que je sois déjà victimisé par ma meilleure amie!"

"Oups…" Adrasthée éclata d'un rire franc. "Moi j'appelle ça l'amour vache."

"T'es pas croyable!"

"Nah, je suis génial."

Alexios turned to his friend, panting lightly.

"What."

"You. Brave. Win four hundreds repetition of song no judging."

He stuck out his tongue, rolling his eyes.

"You sound like a barbarian."

Adrasthea gasped, pretending to be shocked as she brought her hands over her chest.

"Alexios, you're wounding me."

The teen chuckled, before turning to the animal he had killed. Laying on its side, the wolf was staring glassily at the horizon. It was big, way too big to be an ordinary animal, and hadn't it been of his old reflexes, Alexios would have been dead for the second time. He lightly kicked one of its legs.

"Three thousand years and it's still a world jam packed with monsters," he sighed, "and still not a single sign from Apollo."

"He must be busy," Adrasthea shook her head, "or maybe he's with Ama…"

"I hope…" Alexios walked away from the beast. "She must be… so confused…"

His friend shrugged.

"She's seen worse… if you were able to handle it…"

"Hey!"

"What I'm saying is that Ama and I, we grew up with weird stuff. It doesn't affect us anymore. You didn't. If someone raised a mortal can understand what's happening without losing his mind, then she surely can do it too!"

Alexios rolled his eyes.

"I can't believe we're freshly out of the Underworld and I'm already getting victimised by my best friend!"

"Oops…" Adrasthea laughed btightly. "I call this though love, ye know?"

"You're unbelievable!"

"Nah, I'm Adrasthea."

Adrasthée? She's a regular mortal that does no magic but is rather impressive with a bow. She's a leader type, rather impulsive and impatient, who grew up on Circe's island. There's still a lot to work out abt her personality rn but uhhh think something in between me and Danae?

Lenita. They'd bump heads but for the better.

Another leader type, undoubtedly they're argue and challenge eachother. Adrasthée being impulsive would clash with Lenita's "we need to be reasonable about this" view on things.

With her having a long range weapon, and Lenita fighting mostly hand-to-hand... er... hand-to-iron, there's distinct differences that could seep into their conversations, though it's clear they could both learn from eachother.

Lenita would def make fun of her for being so "old fashioned" with bow and arrow.

Heya! Adrasthée here (aka the one that takes care of like, Danae and Delia but shh), we didn't actually think about this at all when we made the blog tbh, thanks for pointing it out ^_^ we're currently trying to decide how exactly to do this and stuff (like do we make each a new one and delete the old blog, etc etc lol) so we'll be back soon with an update! Don't worry about being rude, it's really nice of you to point this out! Fun fact: the unity version of V’la l’bon vent completely fucks me up because they end it differently than I’m used too? So yeah, I did something like 5 takes before settling down on this one because the other one (that was a bit better) was actually recorded in my washroom, except ther ewas more echo than I’d thought would be in such a small room? So yeah, you can prolly notice that the ending is on a second take but I’m too tired to retry it again :’ ) Also I might post the washroom take too for funsies so yep, tell me what you think of this? The latter sighed, twirling around one last time, “it’s the hair, isn’t it?”

Her girlfriend nodded. “Though if you want my humblest opinion...”

“I don’t.”

Amatlhée’s tone was sharp like a knife and Adrasthée found herself bitting her cheek and nodding as she looked away.

“Mom would have known exactly what to wear for this...”

“And she’d have turned every single man at the feast into a pig and created a diplomatic incident that would have been sure to put our best friend into bigger trouble that he already is in... assuming she didn’t turn him into a pig again.”

Amalthée huffed quietly, untying her hair, “are you angry?”

“What-”

“Just because I didn’t want to hear you make an idiot of yourself again?”

“No- I-”

“I know what you think of me,” Amalthée’s tone softened, “there’s no need to remind me all the time.” She tied her hair up in a slightly better bun than the last. “I don’t like the looks we get when you do it.”

Adrasthée nodded slowly, looking to her feet once more, “sorry.”

Extending her hand to cup her cheek, her girlfriend hummed. “It’s alright, I like you anyways.” The enchantress, leant in, pressing a gentle kiss on her lips.  “How about you help me fix myself up now?” Amalthée offered her a gentle smile.

“Yeah... let’s do that.”

I don't exactly have any stable concepts of soulmates anywhere, in all honesty, but the most likely to have soulmates are the greek trio and Delia, since Plato reported a myth on soulmates (sadly idk who would be everyone's soulmate, though at least Delia's is a platonic one); and then you have Sam, and maybe Aloys. Souls are very important to naga culture though Sam doesn't know it (they've been entirely cut off from it since their grandfather got exiled, back in ye ol' probably Mesopotamian times), since they can see them under certain circumstances, and part of me have been debating whether or not Aloys and Camilla shouldn't be the same soul that keeps coming back in hope to finally be able to remain with Sam. So yeah! That's about it!
