Are there any franchises besides LiS that you're into?

I'm going to take this as media generally. And the answer is... quite a lot. Life is Strange is what got me to start writing fiction, but I've got a pretty eclectic list of favs.

I'm pretty into Warhammer, as evidenced by the painted minis I've posted on this Tumblr in the past.

I'm also a recovering League of Legends player (which Arcane REALLY isn't helping with).

The 2006 Battlestar Galactica is also a pretty enduring fixation of mine, and it's criminal that Starbuck didn't get to be as much of a bisexual disaster as Baltar.

El Goonish Shive deserves a special shoutout for finally breaking my egg when I was a teenager. It starts out rough but it gets so, so good. Ellen is 100% my blorbo and Grace must be protected at all costs.

Other enduring faves are the Metro series, Mass Effect, Star Wars, Discworld, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Sins of a Solar Empire, Gone Home, Questionable Content, Half Life, Bastion and Transitior, and probably the Halo series? I'm probably missing half of the stuff I'd want to list because I'm really sick right now.

To celebrate my 1,000th post on this blog I bring you Good News!! I'm writing a new SpanNard fic and the first 2 chapters are now LIVE on AO3!!!

It's called Not Quite. It's set in Season 5, starting in the middle of Business Trip and spanning along the length of many episodes with regular references to canon. It's rated E [and is VERY smut heavy] and explores their messy ass nosedive into realising theyre idiots and in love.

It's a LONG fic, not sure exactly how fast I'll be publishing chapters but I'm already pretty deep into it so there's a backlog for regular updates while I finish off the last few chapters.

THIS ALL STARTED as me wanting to write PWP [bc i was stressed abt my multi-chapter work being too mentally draining lmao] but then I wrote for 10 consecutive days and we are almost at novel length so fuck me I guess!!!! ADHD go brrrrrrrrrrr

Also, I don't usually do this but like [in case the post gets more eyes on it than the usual 4 ppl] I'm poor and wrote a whole novel for free u could send me a dollar to say thanks

So, I know this blog is mostly memes, hornyposting and fandom shit, but I’m gonna actually blog to vent this time. Idc if anybody sees it. I just need to get it out and the ADHD makes real journaling a Olympian task sometimes.

I’m really low. Really low. Lowest I’ve been since starting my transition. It’s mostly hormonal but somewhat situational. I’ve been without my estrogen for almost three weeks (supply chain issue not financial) and so I’m terrified about the effects reversing. As such I’m not feeling very femme. I’ve been feeling my depression more than usual. I mean my fat really just starting hitting my hips just right and now this?????? What the fuck. And it makes going to what is a nightmare of a job, as far as stress is concerned, even harder.

I know I’m a woman no matter the estrogen level of my body but that doesn’t make facing this any easier.

it's 4:42am and I'm awake Not because I'm working but because my partner is working and not to like pathologize my every action but adhd brain is stuck in Waiting Mode (waiting for them to finish work so we can do next activity(sleep)) so every time I try to go to sleep without them my brain goes brrrrrrrrrrr can't do that yet and I am Awakened.

this is probably more accurate but much less romantic than when I thought that going to bed without them just made me sad
