#addresses arent just random numbers

That's cool. We didn't have AAA, I didn't know they did all that! I wouldn't say it was invaluable because we survived by just knowing how to read maps and knowing how cities were generally laid out, sure we got lost occasionally, but we moved to a new city every few years and could get back on track pretty fast. I still don't use GPS.
#addresses arent just random numbers#odds on one side of the road#evens on the other#the first digits are how many blocks away from the city center you are#roads are generally a grid unless theres a river/park/stadium#if the sun is down you can figure out which Direction youre going in by checking the road signs#not trying to be a cool guy#just i dont think paying for triple A was the norm#i really want to look at one of their maps#most people i knew didnt even pay for car insurance#because that wasnt mandatory until the mid 2000s

confirmed that we are doing glam rock
this is just a "jean genie" but thats fine a lot of things are
on the one hand, i like that we've chosen a genre where having lyrics that dont make any sense and arent that good is kind of baked into the whole thing. like i love t rex and "hubcap diamond star halo" is beautiful to me but thats an exception rather than a rule
again i am worried that theyre just gonna make him a massive rock star with number 1 pop hits and stuff and i dont love that idea, like we get that shit on occasion these days but maneskin is a fluke and also they are bad
it might be kind of fun if they play with the fact that lestat is resurrecting a genre that isnt really in the zeitgeist right now, and that hes getting farther on charisma and novelty than anything else. like in the queen of the damned movie he crashes a random nu metal band's practice space, maybe in this it can be an aging bowie cover band or something
we can underline all this by adding elements of 80s hair metal which will be very funny
actually the fact that we are now existing in a landscape of weirdos analyzing song lyrics for details of the lives of pop stars theyve overidentified with might work well with this. in the moobie i think the vibe was more "we are trying to see if led zeppelin has satanic messages hidden in their lyrics" but this might be more "which ex did taylor write this about"
i want stan twitter addressed in a way that is more than a joke

for the art ask thing. every third question. except on 15 you actually do have to provide your ip address along with your street address
FUCKKKK not my ip address along with my street address :[
3. What ideas come from when you were little
honestly probably most of them. not necessarily 'little' but my two main stories and ocs in them that i float around in my head every so often came from when i was in middle school
6. Anything that might inspire you subconsciously
NOT REALLY I THINK...? i think for subconscious stuff its more like music that i then cant help but think of my ocs with. anything design wise is either on purpose from a clear inspiration or just not thought of at all until someone else tells me hehe
9. What are your file name conventions
i havent named a single procreate file on my ipad in weeks i am not fucking joking. but when i save them on my computer to post theyre usually something like '[x] doodle' or '[x] yay' and then i just have to add a number at the end if this is the 50th time ive drawn [x]
12. Easiest part of body to draw
PROBABLY HAIR? its so fun to me honestly cause you can do a lot with it. hands also arent that bad really though im not gonna say theyre easy but theyre fun when you know what youre doing
15. *Where* do you draw
anywhere. everywhere. all at once. typically in my room though at my desk [smiles]
18. An estimate of how much art supplies you've broken
honestly not much since i just draw digitally but i do think that moving stuff back home earlier this year Did break my drawing tablet which kills the bee
21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways
once again EVERYTHING... i love simplistic art styles. i love detailed art styles. realistic ones. cartoony ones. theyre all fucking good baby
24. Do your references include stock images
most of my references tend to be fashion ones but i really tend to use stock images for hands and such
27. Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with
SOMETIMES i should really do that more. ill either just draw a bunch of random wiggly curly lines or just do some more simple little doodles.
30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated
all of them. but really id just point to these ones below. i kinda wanna redraw that summer doodle though cause its in my old art style

More Divaz confos
Mod: Round two of these, previously: link. There’s some interesting customer reviews in this batch (5 and 8) which may be useful to readers.
1.Vic3mage "the secret bjdivaz vip group is just pictures of boxes coming in and going out". Yeah, between the bitching about d0llshe, asking people to post on doa for them, dunking on ex-customers, posting pics of random doll parts that they can't identify which doll they're supposed to go with, whining about how little money they make, whining when ppl e-mail them, whining. Yeah, other than that it's just boxes, and alpacas u can buy off amazon anyway lol.
~Anonymous
2.The butthurt users crying and guilttripping under every Divaz confession who have never been seen before elsewhere on this blog are extremely unsuspicious and unproblematic and definitely unconnected to Divaz and unbiased in every possible way
/s
~Anonymous
3.idk shit abt bjd1vas but v1cemage i can absolutely tell you the shit about ch0o is 100% accurate, fucker's got a long, long history of being an awful little man that stretches well beyond his involvement in the doll community. between the two i'd still trust bjd1vas over ch00 ch00 the fool any day!
~Anonymous
4.The Z3st and Div4s thing is really silly and both entities were being shady but did they really have to take the DZ waiting room down with them? :( He had even made a separate thread about it......

5. RE: BJD Divaz
I’ve been a customer of BJD Divaz since they first started, when it was only run by Chart3rline. I even contacted other BJD companies trying to persuade them to work with Divaz as their US representative. Most declined because they didnt like D's commission fee, but I was able to persuade a few of them.
I asked them to purchase a doll off DOA because I couldnt afford the asking price, and while they did, I found out later that instead of agreeing to purchase the seller's price, they negotiated the price to be lower. This significantly cheaper price was not passed down to me. I paid the full price +the commission fee based on that full price. I am disappointed I was not told this. This is when I stopped viewing them as a "friend" and instead, as a business. I dont hold this against them, it’s context to what Im going to say later.
I’ve stopped purchasing from D after my recent order from them. This company usually takes 3 or less months to make a doll. I’ve ordered the doll from D and it took 11 months. They let me know it arrived to them in March and that it will be shipped soon, except it only shipped on July, and only after I sent them several "reminder" emails. Before people in the comments try to put the blame on me for not sending a reminder soon, please keep in mind that I acknowledged the email in March and confirmed everything and they keep stressing to not send them emails because they are busy, I’ve emailed once every month since. I’ve since switched to ACBJD and Ive been happy with communication and the dolls ordered. I imagine ACBJD gets the same amount of emails, but they dont berate their customers if they email more than once.
I regret when people wanted a D0llshe, but not deal with him, I always recommended D. I would warn people of ordering directly and instead go through D. They assured buyers they would be handling communication and all the efforts so they wouldnt worry, except they didn’t. A person that I’ve recommended D to, who surpassed 2 years, keeps messaging me for help because D wouldnt reply to their emails. She is respectful, sweet and a timid person, not a Karen. This person, emailed D without a reply so would email a week later, only to be told that their email would be pushed down to the bottom if emailed again. No response, so she goes to FB and IG, who both tell her to email because they arent the person running orders. Finally got a response that they would get their refund, after D0llshe sends D's payment, but minus the PP fees. 3 months later and theres no refund, only a promise of them getting it later. Why is the customer missing out on fees when they have no doll? Customer emails d0llshe and he says he cant offer refund, because they didn’t order through them, which is understandable, but when all options are out for a customer, do you blame them for chargebacks?
If anyone files a chargeback, D will be blacklisting them from every company they rep, as in blacklisting you from buying direct from those companies. I urge everyone who has negative experiences with D to email the companies they rep instead of venting on confession blogs, and writing your experiences on social media. Make it count and send letters to the companies they represent, and please provide proof because they will try to make you out to be a liar.
Speaking of, they made vague posts on cl0ver singing for charging paypal fees, and that they offer guarantees as an official dealer, except when offering refunds, to non delivered products I might add, they are keeping the fees, and offered no help with d0llshe, even before they ended their dealership with them. Someone on DOA was told to not email them unless the wait time surpassed 1.5 years. They are even so petty that they post screenshots with the full name and address (dox) of the customer on purpose and then delete it out a day later as if they just realized their "mistake".
Before you try to make excuses for them about the fires, keep in mind, I am dealing with a business. The lower price negotiation with the DOA sale, I am in no way obligated to give them a pass or treat them as a friend when they made it clear that our relationship is strictly business. Their issues, are not my issues. D0lk got dragged for not shipping in time, others, including artisans, got dragged for being so late with communication and sending back refunds for cancelled orders. Why does D get to be exempt?
The supporters are the worst part of this, because of instead of being honest so D can improve, they support them for being "real". For example, look how micemage words it, to make it seem like this criticism is from one person, when there are people on addicts who didn’t have good experience. Check the bjd dealers tag here, you will see the supporters in the comments going off on any and all criticism of D. Some have sane comments, but the majority are cult like and try to identify the person venting as if it’s one person. Addicts deletes threads with criticism asking people to instead direct it to their feedback group; which lets be honest, no one is going to do because its "not that bad", and most dont want to join a new group, which is mostly dead.
This is my first and last confession on D, I’ve emailed each company they rep and told them my experience as well as contacting the 3 month wait company, with screenshots of my order, how they handled it, and the excuse they used to put blame on the company for being so late (package arrived march to D, 4 months to be shipped is on D, not the company). I’m not using company or order details because I know they are petty enough to try to identify me and publicly shame me like they have to others. This and the threat of suing is why not many people like to go public with their experience. They just keep feedback neutral, move on and never deal with again.

6. Listen, I can't take you seriously in regards to BJD!vas because you're posting on a confession blog. If you were serious, you would have posted in buyer beware groups, DoA reviews or the board to get things resolved, or you would have made a complaint to the BBB. And your language makes you come off more as someone with an agenda rather than someone who is trying to warn people. If shipping is the issue, stop buying with standard shipping and pay the extra price for express shipping. I saw one of you complain that it sat with them for 20 days; that's probably because you're not the only one and they more than likely have a queue to check and then ship out. Do mistakes happen? Yes, because we're human. I've been in this hobby for a few years now and it seems like most people know you're going to have to wait, sometimes even outside the expected wait time. And shipping something as big as a doll is a timely endeavor. I shouldn't have to say that.
My point is simply to stop complaining on an confession board and either take it to the places previously mentioned. Posting here behind the anonymous mask makes you sound like a petulant child who didn't get their way right away.
~Anonymous
7.My only issue with BJD Divaz is how I never get any updates. Every email, they tell me to join their facebook page for status updates. I dont have a FB and I dont want to create one. I bought my doll through their website, updates should be posted on their website, or they could send me an email. That isnt asking much.
~Anonymous
8. Since there seems to be a lot of either "completely negative everything sucks" or "everything was sunshine and rainbows" confessions about bjd!vaz I thought I'd chime in with a neutral review.
PROS
-They were always polite and professional in their emails, and gave me very detailed answers to my questions.
-I got exactly what I ordered, so no mix ups or missing parts or anything like that.
-I think them being forthcoming about personal issues (only one person on staff, illness, the flooding isue etc.) on social media is good, since it keeps customers updated as to why there might be delays.
-If you live in the US their shipping is very reasonable.
CONS
-Reply times were varied. Sometimes it could take over a week, sometimes a couple hours.
-My order took about 10mo which, when comparing to other people who ordered through the same company around the same time, was about 3x as long as if I bought it direct and 2x as long if I had gone through a different dealer. I get some of the waiting time is out of their control, but it was kind of ridiculous.
-They dont necessarily ship the same day they send you a tracking number. I wish they said something like, "Here's your tracking number, our pickup is Xday so it should start moving after that" just so I could be aware.
All in all no major complaints. I got my doll and all that. Their lone employee is clearly overwhelmed. I hope they hire another person, if only to give the one a break.
Truthfully, I most likely won't buy through them again. I'd rather pay the international shipping and go direct, than deal with the extensive wait time. I'd still recommend them to someone looking for a very long layaway, though. I paid in full, but if I had a 12mo layaway I would've never known they weren't ready to ship my doll until month 10.

hi im back on my borderline unhealthy love of a book from my elementary school days
if yall dont know i love cryptid hunters by roland smith and like i always do about twice a year I was thinking about it the other day. the hard thing about reflecting on books from childhood is how much fucked up shit happened that is not properly addressed. so under the cut is my rant/things i would change if someone ever gives me my dream job of turning my favorite books into tv shows (@ CW i’m looking at you i may hate riverdale but this would probably work in a similar fashion i was the co-authored of a great thread on twitter about turning cyberchase into a riverdale like show so you know i got skills)
the plot is basically teens sent to live with uncle they didnt know existed who is searching for dinos and theres a bad old white guy who hates people and animals and also mystery
1. how tf does grace have a passport?? i know wolfe’s friend was in the US gov and wolfe also did work for the government so does that mean grace has a bunch of false documents??? what happens when she applied for colleges?? does she have a social security number??
2. did we ever find out what wolfe did that made the us government agree to give him a fucking island??? (idk if roland smith mentioned it in the 4th book, i read it once and havent read it again bc its my least fav and i didnt like the hitler stuff)
3. no hitler. if i remake this into a tv series theres no hitler connection. blackwood is just gonna suck on his own and we wont have any clones or hitler. i want roses mother to be some random chick blackwood knocked up (if we are going dark its an intern or young employee) and then paid off to keep the baby and then probably had killed because hes evil.
4. rose is an abuse victim. this is one of the more serious changes i’d make because in my head i have a whole four season tv show plan where season 3 focuses on grace at noahs ark and we also get flashbacks to when rose was alive and there. in my tv show/headcanon blackwood is hella emotionally abusive, rose could leave but he gaslights her and guilts her and is awful and basically makes it so while she could leave she can’t really leave. rose meets wolfe, they form a bond, and he helps her get out, then they run away and eventually go to the congo (#honeymoon). this abuse is echoed with grace and blackwood but grace wasnt ya know raised by him so it has a different effect. the abuse is one of the main reasons why rose doesnt want grace to ever be with blackwood because he is awful.
5. Blackwood is the worse that needs to be highlighted but also hes not a cartoon villain. he also has a power complex thats why he has a whole display of taxidormy animals and thats why he wants all the rare animals to be his cause he wants power over others thats also part of his abuse
6. grace is very conflicted throughout all of this because she found out her parents arent her parents, her mom is dead, her thought to be parents are still missing throughout all of this!! and her grandpa is a fucked up madman who wants her dad dead and she also has preexisting anxiety. i would want to showcase her inner turmoil and this idea of her being unsure of who she is in the later books/seasons and this plays with her relationship with blackwood, not that shes on his side or anything, but maybe how manipulative he is and how desperate she is to learn about this whole other side of her apparent family. grace didnt get enough attention in the later books. also doesnt she straight up think marty and luther are dead at one point in book 3? girl is not walking away from all of this trauma free she doesnt need to have a breakdown but shes confused and should be allowed to be confused
7. reluctant dino parent grace I SAID WHAT I SAID i just have this humorous headcanon that grace has always been a bit afraid of dinos (repressed from ya know the dino that killed her mom) (also she couldnt watch juarassic park as a kid and mentions that whenever someone references it because no one is gonna be dealing with dinos and not quoting jurassic park)but she and the dinos bond at noahs ark and she ends up in a comedy relief bit where she has to feed them and gets annoyed at them in season/book 4. this may or may not be inspired by me and my dog
8. yeah marty and luther have a thing lets be real here
9. more laurel
10. im sure i have more but i have class tomorrow and ive already spent too much time on this thanks for reading (and im sorry)!!!
#cryptid hunters#roland smith#marty o'hara#grace wolfe#noah blackwood#emily talks#what do you mean 22 year olds shouldnt still have obsessions with a book they read when they were 8??#wtf that was 14 years ago i need to lie down

love is blind
a/n: ayye! thanks for 3k! i’m so happy and excited and thankful that u guys arent bored of me :) word count: 1.195 masterlist
When Y/N stepped out of work, the cold had seemed mild at first but it soon numbed her body. It licked at her face and crept under her clothes, spreading across her skin like a lacy tide. The residual heat she had absorbed from the office building was long gone. The thick winter jacket and boots didn’t act like the buffer she had hoped they would. With each breath, more heat rose in puffs of white vapour and with each gust of wind more heat dissipated into the whiteness.
On the ride home from work she noticed that the nearly empty city looked like an unfinished painting. So much of the canvas was still perfectly white, as if waiting for the artist’s hand to arrive. The trees stood starkly in the winter night, like x-rays of their summer selves, only in reverse; black on white.
It was the cold that brought her to the decision of not going grocery shopping. The less time she spent outside, the better. She just hoped that her roommate might have bought some food.
It turns out she didn’t. After shrugging of her coat and kicking off her boots, Y/N walked to the kitchen, rubbing her hands together to make up for the lost warmth. There stuck to the fridge was a small yellow square and already, Y/N it would not bare good news.
Y/N, it read. Date night with Jamie. No food, sorry! Stay warm. Love, Bee
Y/N sighed and pulled the note off the fridge, crumpling it up and tossing it in the bin. Take-out it is, she grumbled to herself as she opened the drawer in the counter that held the various menus. She spread them out and looked at them. Nothing seemed to please her. Tony’s Pizza, she read wrinkled menu. I guess pizza it is, she shrugged before pulling out her cell phone and dialling the number written in bold black numbers.
“Thank you for calling Tony’s Pizza, how can I help you?” Y/N immediately noticed how comforting the low husky voice sounded.
“Uh, yeah, can I order a medium- sized plain cheese pizza?”
“You sure can,” Y/N heard some typing noises in the background as well as people laughing. At least someone is having a good time.
“Is that all?”
“And a coke, that’ll be all.”
“Carry-out or delivery?”
“Delivery,” she responded with not a moment’s hesitation. The manly voice chuckled.
“Address?”
“The building across from Potts Technologies,” she paused, “do you need directions? Cause I can give them to you.”
“It’s fine, ma’am,” the said with a soft laugh, “I know it. Your order will be delivered in half an hour or less.”
“Okay, thank you!”
“No, thank you for ordering with us today. Have wonderful night, ma’am.”
“You too, love you, bye.”
Y/N’s blood stopped cold. It was an easy mistake since she phoned her mom almost everyday, it was just a natural response. She knew that the guy on the other end heard her. But instead of hanging up, she stayed on the line. It was silent, there had been no click since there wasn’t the dial tone playing.
“Love you, too,” he responded.
There was more silence. A long silence. Y/N’s body was frozen in place. She didn’t know if she should laugh or profusely apologise. Though she knew it was the latter but before she could respond, the employee had started to speak.
“I hope you’re not expecting a discount on the pizza just ‘cause we confessed our undying love to each other.”
Y/N visibly relaxed and chuckled lightly.
“Well that’s unfortunate. But I really am sorry about that! I’m also sorry to say that I don’t actually love you, it’s just a force of habit.”
“You usually tell people you order from that you love them? I mean, Tony’s Pizza is the best pizza, but I can’t run away with a random customer. I’m sure you understand.”
“N-no, no that’s not what I meant!” Y/N waved her free hand around, before resting her forehead against her palm. She could definitely feel her cheeks heat up in embarrassment.
“Wait, are you sayin’ you’re telling all your take-out places this?”
“What? No!”
“Are you cheating on me?!”
Y/N groaned in frustration. “No! It was just a slip up!” There was a small moment of silence until the employee burst out laughing. Oh god! She thought, his laugh is beautiful. It distracted her from feeling even more foolish that before. His was contagious as she soon found herself laughing as well.
“Haha, I’m sorry about that, ma’am. It was just too easy.”
“You think you’re so funny,” you chided with a smile.
“Your pizza,” he laughed some more, “your pizza should arrive within the next half hour, ma’am.” It was embarrassing how hard her heart sunk. She was enjoying the conversation, having some company. But she also remembered he was at work. This was his job.
“Right. Thank you.” He said goodbye and hung up. Her phone was warm and she hadn’t realised how hard she had been gripping it until her place it done and uncurled her fingers. She raised one hand to the side of her face and felt that it was warm as well. A small grin grew on her face. Y/N quickly wiped it off her face and flopped down on the sofa, turning the tv on and trying to forget the conversation.
She didn’t realise how much she missed on her show until the buzzer went off. She jumped up and ran towards the door, quickly buzzing the door open. Really? She chastised herself at how eager she was.
Her mood dropped when it was a redhead who stood in her doorway instead of the husky voiced employee she had spoken to, but the smell of freshly baked pizza perked her up. As Y/N was handing the girl the money, she was handing Y/N a napkin.
“The guy I work with, Bucky, said that I should give this to you. He said you know what means.” She handed the pizza box to Y/N and raised the money, “thanks for the tip! have a good night!” And then she was gone.
Y/N placed the pizza on the counter and looked at the napkin. There was something written in blue ink.
Hey, This is sort of cheesy, but you’re one supreme slice. With lots of love, The love of your life (AKA Bucky)
There was a badly drawn arrow pointing to the corner of the napkin. She turned the little square, unfolding the napkin.
P.S. I love you. And next to that a phone number was written out with a small heart at the end of it. Y/N let out a loud laugh and covered her mouth her hand. She couldn’t stop the smile forming and placed the napkin to the side for safe keeping. She took a big bite of the cheesy pizza and hummed as she chewed. For the rest of the night, there was only one name on her lips.
Bucky.

GUNDAM SEED DESTINY EPISODE 3: ATHRUN ZALA IS BAD AT DRESS UP
idk man, im kinda shocked. another episode thats actually pretty neat. i feel like im in the twilight zone because these first few episodes are honestly, in my opinion, better then the original seeds initial episodes.
its a matter of pacing honestly, well seeds first few episodes felt dragged out and artificially lengthened for no real purpose destiny gets going alot faster and with a lot more purpose/gas in the tank. the colony gets fucked up, gundams are stolen, and a chase is on only with the subversion of being with the pursuers rather then the pursued and the looming threat of full blown war if this isnt clamped down quickly enough.
granted this does come at a bit of a cost towards character building as stated previously, but considering its only the first few episodes i can forgive that. for now. plus what character i have seen i... honestly really like. mostly from the minervas crew mind. the bridge captain i dont remember the name of, but she reminds me a lot of natalie from the archangel who was definitely my fave of the officers because she had her shit together and was generally really awesome, even during the shit show that was seeds second half.
the background crew members have their little quirks that makes them oddly endearing, including that one random black suited officer who seems to be captain ladys number 2. lunamarie looks like she wants to kick some ass as well which is always a plus in my book.
shinn continues to somehow endear himself to me. part of that is the kamille aspect of barely contained rage and fury towards the world, but i like that well he doesnt immediately flip out on seeing cagalli and even tries to restrain himself, his outburst only comes when cagalli starts talking about orbs idealistic neutrality which shinn has personal experience with and the problems of said neutrality. he aint just angry at orb as a nation, hes angry at the hypocrisy baked into orbs ideals and practices, hence why he calls cagallis words sugar coating/bullshit.
for some clarification before we go further, what is the hypocrisy baked into orb as a concept? because we have real world prescient for nations that remain stubbornly neutral in times of war. and if anything orb is simply an extension of the total neutrality pacifism of the peacecrafts of gundam wing and gundams general give peace a chance moralizing. what makes seeds orb so much worse? simple, their condescending liars. say what you will about the peacecraft philosophy of total neutrality, and i have my quibbles, but they stuck by their stupid philosophy and even made it kinda poignant even if how they got there was stupid. Orb? they regularly build up military strength and can only get by on their neutrality stance because they have big enough guns to scare people off, not because they have good diplomats or the like. the peace that orb preaches is an isolationist one, a fuck you got mine approach, and well its an interesting contradiction and flaw to orb that could make for interesting story telling it never really gets seriously taken to court in seed. cagallis father even gets a heroic sacrifice, and instead of wondering if their isolationist approach to peace is wrong seed instead waxes about how orb building its military up at all was wrong. id give cagalli credit for atleast trying to reach out, but the only reason she was there at all was to frown disapprovingly at zaft for using orb tech and personnel/refugees to help build up military strength because its making the earth alliance rattle sabers towards orb (ignoring that the earth alliance was going to be rattling sabers anyways because none of the problems that started the first war have actually been addressed or dealt with, and if anything have probably gotten worse what with the disastrous end of the first war). and sure, thats a legit concern but that still feels like a fuck you got mine approach to things. so its very half hearted approval really.
ugh, getting out of that quagmire though we get some nice animation again, some repeated shots but they arent to obnoxious this episode and give the brief fight a nice flare. some neat tech show off such as the anchor, and some neat tactics like using the extra fuel cartridges to cover ‘bogey 1′s’ escape (zaft your still terrible at coming up with names). dont know why the specific part of the bridge can fall into a battle mode sub bridge when you could just build it there to begin with, but its neat. the blast impulse is really cool looking and hopefully looks good in action.
athrun, if you were going incognito you should have actually bothered to dress up beyond a pair of shades. still, maybe the next episode will let you explain yourself and start building on that character of yours.
holding my breath in vain really.

I just wanna say thanks to the @LolaTempest thread,, you can read it here
I can't agree enough, as both a Suicidal person, and someone who has lost people through suicide. This is going to be long I guess, I appreciate if you do end up reading it all.
I urge you to check out their thread, its highlights tons of good points about Suicide after culture? (Idk what to call it) As someone who deals with these thoughts, and some of my friends might be surprised to hear I still have them, I can't say how much I relate. Whenever someone dies it feels like its just that thing of the month, everyone reblogs the hotline lists and that and then it just vanishes till the next person dies. I’m not saying its wrong but I hate the feeling of it being almost like a fad. And like Lola Tempest says, half the time it doesnt actually have much impact, its not bad, but as a suicidal person, I avoid telling people already about being suicidal, depressed etc because it makes me feel like 10 Million times worse, and on top of that I feel like I'm burdening everyone by telling them which ads even more stress. And while I know this is not true, I still can't help it.
No matter how many times people say they love and care about you, it doesn't stay because the brain won't think straight. I'd much rather you make me forget that pain, tell jokes, tell me about your day, something so stupid that it makes me smile inside.
Anything but the talk on suicide because then I roominate and thats the worst thing for me, I really don’t then want someone telling me all the solutions when my brain at the time can’t comprehend the solutions. the worst nights of my life where when I was alone, in a cramped room, with no one to talk too and forced to thing about the ways I’d go.
When one of my closest friends left me due to a suicide attempt, I felt so empty, I hated myself every moment of the day, I got sent home from work for not being focused, I could not stop shaking, I went to the hospital because I didn't know what to do and I respect their choice because your own health matters too, its your own life I can't control that, but please don't do it at their worst. Im not saying I hate this person, I still value them, they once stayed awake with me for 25 hours to make sure I was okay
Its something I still value. But when they left, they told me I was selfish for wanting to die, and while it might come off as selfish please, please never call a suicidal person selfish. I can tell you now, they think about every person, each of their actions, what life is like without me and how I have 0 impact on them, or the positives of what happens of when I'm gone. When I was in school, I'd sit and think about every classmate, how I was so irrelevant regardless of the level of friendship between us.
I used to take "Breaks" Online and offline, and just hold away in the hopes someone, even one person would chase after me and ask me I was okay, I remember when my friends from my maths class came to my house, they didn't know where I lived and idk how they found my address but it meant so much, I cried a lot that day, When my dad died, my mum thought originally he did it to spite her, but she later found notes left in places precious to each of us, in our favourite books, films, hideaways etc and told us about the hopes and dreams he had for each of us when he was gone, and how he knew we'd be something great in the future, he even prebrought flowers to be sent to my mum every month for 2 months on the 16th, the number of their wedding day, to keep her happy.
He thought so much about the people around him, and yet he still made that choice. His choice was wrong because he couldn't think straight, thats what this does to you, so please don't ever call someone selfish for it.
After my friend called me that though that was when I stopped letting people know, I held back more and more out of the fear of losing anyone else, it took me a long time to get over it, but I still don't tell people now, I nearly told my aunt the other day, that I was feel suicidal over my work and how they've been treating me, how the pressure of my family falling apart is making me feel, how my social circle, body image, money issues, gay struggles etc are all making me want to end it And I didn't because in the moment I sat down with her, I changed the subject so fast because I couldn't bring myself to tel her, hurt her, make her cry, and I couldn't bring myself to do that to another person.
please I beg of you if theres a takeaway from the people who have died, who think about it, famous or not, support them, be there for them, send them love and encouragement, in the good and the bad times
Never forget them, please don't let it be a week and treat it like yesterdays news, I may not have know Etika but I'm hoping he's happy up there, the same for my father or any one else who has committed suicide
If something seems off just asks, please don't wait for them to make the first move, approach them, heck even if they arent down, but you've seen them I'd urge you to try become their friend, they might never tell you directly how much you mean, but I bet you mean a lot.
I know I'm not as influential as I once was on tumblr, and thats partly my own choice, as like Etika I felt Social media had a influence on me good and bad, but if you read this go check on someone, make the first move, make sure they're okay, don’t wait for them to come to you! You don’t have to be some therapist or a doctor to see when someone is on the edge, be their friend, remind them of the good through good times, play a game, tell stories, tell a joke, sing them a song, to no matter who it is, Be it brother, mother, friend, classmate, random person on the internet, you never know, you might save their day.
#text#suicide#sorry this is something which ive been thinking about for a while and today and the thread set me off but#please please#ask people#go to the#m#its so much better trust me#distract them#do what you can#you are not a psychaitrist but you are a friend first#so be the best friend you can be and make them smile#they understand you cant do everything for them#but they appreciate what you can

Destiny 2 chaperone catalyst
In destiny you actually feel the difference between a shit rolled gun and a god roll.Īlso, as a side note, I specifically asked about a company where employees arent being overworked because its a trap question. Its just very grindy content that a player who doesnt need to catch up can blast through in about a week, or in 2 days if there is no savage tier that patch.Īlso, while the updates are on a regular schedule, they are as far apart as Destinys seasons, usually 4-5 months, with only very small additions in between them, and even those are usually very boring, if they actually even bring any gameplay.Įven though both games are grind fests, the grind in destiny is much better, FFXIV its mostly either numbers only (items dont affect gameplay at all) or some insane grind that puts even artifact power level grind to shame, being mostly time consuming and brainless (artifact weapons). I have played FFXIV for a long ass time and they dont really provide too much content anymore. DMT's excuse eludes me but I guess it's related to the singularity causing time bs, so we were collecting very slightly different versions of the gun because we were visiting slightly different versions of he Glykon, like a multiple timelines converging in one spot situation. But even then, Hawkmoon at least justifies it by being a recreation of hawkmoon crafted from/by the Traveller's shard, so it's making a new gun of the same model each time. The only 2 breaking that are Hawkmoon and DMT and frankly that aspect of them is tedious There's so much rng to grind everywhere else in the game as it is. With a given legendary weapon people could argue about which perks/ combinations make a god roll, but exotics are supposed to be specific unique weapons, it makes sense for them to intrinsically be their respective god rolls. Exotics are almost all curated weapons and that's part of their appeal to me They are their respective definitive versions. I agree with keeping the time limits but I really don't want random rolls on exotics. Note that we specifically look at catalysts as a way to buff underused Exotics (for example, this is why we made catalysts for Trinity Ghoul and Deathbringer, so expect similar reasoning moving forward).Īt the risk of being vague, we also have long-term plans to address the issues of Exotic Orb generation and kill trackers without making a catalyst for every Exotic in the game. We have some tweaks planned next week, in Season 15, and beyond which should shake things up. We also keep a close eye on feedback on Exotic weapons and which weapons are under/overperforming. We have an idea of what may need more adjustments as these changes shake out, but will wait to discuss them as our plans solidify. We'll keep a close eye on Special weapons and will make adjustments once we see how they perform in the wild, particularly Fusion Rifles and Grenade Launchers. TWAB ( is currently down so ere is the reddit post link) Thank you u/smegdawg for respectfully letting me know. Turns out this has been referenced to in a previous TWAB. I’m fine with Catalysts being gradually rolled out (although currently it feels really slow) over time, but I really wish I could masterwork immediately, or at least be granted a pathway towards doing so. The frustrating thing is that even without an additional perk, I’m putting myself at a disadvantage using my favourite Exotic in place of one that can make orbs for me and my team. As a LeMon fanatic, I feel this pain on the regular. A common thread on this sub is the desire to see X weapon get Y catalyst.

I originally typed these for this post i saw in the tag but they got long so i pasted them as their own separate post
1. Race wise? Definitely courtney and alejandro. Mostly biased because when i was little courtney meant a whole deal to me. I never really saw many characters that i could point out and go like "hey she kinda looks like me!" So seeing courtney was a big moment in my childhood. Alejandro because well? I'm peruvian too and i'm 100% sure that he is as well. In south america soccer is a huge deal, besides places in peru that serve guinea pig as food and i remember he mentiones having eaten guinea pig. Altho i feel like fresh does try to have characters that look different from each other and try to emulate real teenagers. Theyre all diverse. I'm glad at least they dont make ALL their characters look like wet wonderbread and make an effort to put diversity and be inclusive of other races.
2. Despite all this, td can also be pretty racist. I think it had chris in like yellow face in tdwt. Ofc it could be that fresh wasnt too informed on the subject. They dont seem to be informed on a lot, its as if a different company worked on 6teen. Also when it comes to neurodivergence or lgbt representation, in my own personal opinion, i feel fresh does a shit job at it. So i'm gonna say neither of these have been represented accordingly.
Fresh mentioned they wouldnt have gay characters because "gay ppl are controversial" or something like that back in 2015 when they were in shock to hear so many ppl hc'd noah as gay. Basically all moments of noah cuddling up to cody and justin were practically jokes like "haha what a gay cuddling up to boys"
There's also the infamous duncan transphobic line in tda.
Regarding mental illness, trent mike and dave exist. While i would also like to count izzy, sometimes i consider her like a scene kid thats just on their "xD RANDOM!!!" phase. However izzy is described very negatively by her teammates throwing out words like "ps*cho" and "crazy" in a negative way when talking about her. So theres that.
Trent was shown to have signs of OCD in tda. Which unfortunately ended up being played up as a joke and unfortunately the whole fanbase has flanderized him to the number 9 and constantly making jokes about it despite it being a coping mechanism for him. A lot of how he coped w his own anxiety was used for laughs and his teammates thinking he's weird. Like it was stereotypically overdone for the sake of a joke and it's so sad bc thats the only development he ever got.
We all know about the mike issue. There's a lot that people have learned since mike fiasco 2013, but let me address some things that are still damaging or potentially damaging. Again i could be wrong since while i am nd i dont have DID myself. A lot of it mostly roots from tdas having mike have an "eeEEeeeviL!!" personality, kind of like how Split the movie did. Also a huge issue being the whole reset button to "rid of his mental illness to have a normal life w his gf and a happy ending uwu" like. People w mental illness cant be happy unless they rid of their mental illnesses ? It kinda sends a really. Negative message from fresh on their views of mental illness. Altho idk if i'm making too much sense. A lot of mike arguments are outdated and a lot of nd people have spoken in favor of mike and heped others understand more, however i do believe the button is the one thing everyone can agree on. It was bad.
With dave i cant really say much bc i barely remember tdpi but i know he had germophobia and had an anxiety attack on set when he was covered in filth. I think thats the only time i can say fresh handled neurodivergency in a realistic matter, however i dont think more is explored on that? We know he hates getting filthy but the most u see his character do is just talk about sky and constantly bugging her to date him despite her not wanting to. I havent watched tdpi in so long that i dont really remember anything else besides the one panic attack he had so from my poor memory to me it's like they just. Threw it away in favor of turning him into brony friendzony yfeel? Most of the time he spent crying over sky.
So yeah i don't really think fresh and td handle neurodivergent and lgbt representation very well. Every hint that a character could be gay was made for laughs as fresh confirmed they wouldnt actually show a gay character on the show bc they think the gays are controversial, and every nd character they've had is mocked and talked negatively on for their mental illness or had it completely erradicated in order to be given a happy ending.
This got long and i hope my answers don't sound rude or anything like, i dont wanna start 5 year old discourse lol. Like yeah i'm glad their characters at least arent all white kids but. There's so much more that could be done better or could've been done better yfeel?

any writing tips u can share?? i adore your work so much, just the way everythings described flows so nicely~
Mmmm, im not the best with this, but ill try ^~^ thank you by the way! Ehehe, it means a lot. This advice will go on like stepping stones, haha.
1. This is probably the most broad thing i can say, but just keep on writing. When i used to tutor creative writing (or english as a whole, lol) i met a lot of students who were so focused on sculpting their writing to perfection, and the purpose of it was lost along the way. This happens a lot, from what ive seen, in creative writing. I feel as if when writers are more focused on creation their pieces to perfection in hopes of it being acknowledged and seen, theyre not writing for themselves anymore; thus, this leads into the second piece of advice. Practice makes perfect. Everything that you will write you are improving in every single piece—even if you dont realize it. The things ive written two weeks ago make me cringe, but thats a sign of improvement.
Work with your strengths, and improve your weaknesses.
Go back and read your old work so you can see what you like and dont like—what you should improve on or keep doing.
2. Write for yourself. The value of your work is so much more when you write for yourself because it makes you happy.
Moving onto the composition work…
1. Vocabulary bank. It takes a while to build up a wide vocabulary bank, but its worth it. In my opinion, its more engrossing to read a piece with a lot of high vocabulary over the simple words. It bumps up everything, and if theres a good sentence flow then its a plus.
I studied word lists everyday, and i always do every other day because i want to keep on building up my vocab. They are always out there, and its a total helper!!
For me, id rather read an entire piece that was written like an SRI test over pieces that dont have that much high lexicon.
This also becomes the case for the word said. There are many words out there to use aside said, like drones, equivocates, gasps, jeers, etc.
Ex: “He wanted to tell her the truth.” ➝ “He had an urge to apprise her of the concerning verities.”
2. Sentence structure. Some sentences are far too shot, and some are really extensive (and do not have commas, semi-colons—oh my goodness). Now, sentences dont always have to be extremely long; there should be a variety. Itll make the paragraph flow more, and you can get the emphasis where you want on certain places.
Ex: “His eyes shined under the darkness of the night. The smile that graced his face warmed you from the heart. And it was not an everyday occurrence for that to take place.” ➝ “The smile that graced his face made his eyes crinkle into crescent moons, the glint evident in his two orbs. It warmed you from the inside—his beaming grin—and it was not often you felt this from another individual.”
Speaking on this, try to not use the same prominent word twice in one sentence.
Ex: “He turned the paper face down, turning his head to face his friend.” ➝ “He turned the paper over, tilting his head to address his friend.”
3. Being metaphorical. Im not really sure how to elaborate on this; i guess it provides more depth/character to the paragraph?? Aah, heres an example instead.
Ex: “The sky was a calming blue, the cluster of brilliant stars surreal to your eyes.” ➝ “The curtain of aegean draped over the muted sky, golden pins splaying upon the surface.”
4. Adjectives. It bumps up your sentences—trust me. With more details, it becomes easier to picture in your mind. Have you read a smut without adjectives, and another smut with? The difference is quite prominent because with one you can imagine the scene with more detail, and the other not as well.
Ex: “His member was twitching, the pleasure of being inside you unbearable.” ➝ “His stiff member was twitching uncontrollably, the overwhelming pleasure of being inside you borderline unbearable.”
or
“Sweat dripped from his forehead.” ➝ “Beads of sweat slowly dripped from his forehead.”
But try to not be heavy on the adjectives… i still struggle with this, haha, but i think many readers can tell if you have a thesaurus in hand or not.
5. Paragraph breaks. This might not seem like a biggie, and it is completely up to you when you decide to break paragraphs, but there are times that one must paragraph break… like with dialogues or setting changes, or when a new character is introduced. Please… avoid the block… oh my goodness…
6. This might be a me thing… but go into detail with the actions. To say this under a brighter light, imagine this: actions during a kiss scene. When you kiss someone, you and the other’s mouths arent the only thing that are moving, and the touch of the lips arent the only thing youre feeling.
Ex: “He pressed his lips against yours, his mouth prancing to the melody of your heartbeat.” (and thats it) ➝ “He pressed his lips against your own, his mouth prancing to the melody of your heartbeat as his hands trace the outline of your body. You palm snakes up his back, only to place it on the nape of his neck to tug him closer. At such a closed proximity, you noticed something else: his scent. There was a swirl of cinnamon and vanilla that intoxicated your senses… etc.”
What im trying to say is that going into some detail, brief or not, about actions will add more sparkle into the paragraph—especially dialogue.
Ex: “’You’re kidding me,’ he groaned, flailing his arms in the air animatedly. He was in a disbelief at the sudden news, lodged at a crossroads on how to respond. ‘You’re fucking kidding me!’
You took a step back, placing a fist over your heart cautiously. ‘I-I’m sorry,’ you uttered weakly, tears pooling at your eyes. ‘I didn’t mean to.’”
Obviously the apostrophes wont be there in the final product, lol, it would perturb me if i didnt write that grammatically correct, ahaha.
Think of these composition levels as a pyramid. From letters, to words, to sentences, to paragraphs, the purpose of the piece, etc. The letters would be the bottom. So if you mess up at the bottom of the pyramid, the rest is disrupted. I read over a paper before where the first and second base were horrendous, and i was correcting it so much. The student came up to me and asked me what i thought about the message of the piece, but i actually paused and thought. I was so focused on correcting the mistakes—paying attention to the mistakes—to the point i missed the entire purpose of the piece. So, honestly, proofreading will be your best friend here.
All of this falls under the tab of your style. Remember, dont try to force out word after word to sculpt your piece into perfection. Work with your strengths, find your weaknesses and improve.
On the finding inspiration and keeping motivation side…
1. Work at your own pace. Do what makes you feel like your best work will be exhibited, and dont let other deadlines push you at your limit. Personal deadlines would most likely take the fun out of your writing process, and you might miss some particulars youd wish to convey—so dont rush! Trust me on this, lol. I made this mistake again when writing overrated, and im so hesitant to even hit that upload button because of how much i rushed it to meet my personal deadline. I keep re-reading and editing it, but i know that if i spent my time on it and pushed aside the personal deadline then it would be better.
2. Inspiration comes at the most random of times. I got ideas from waiting in the line in the bathroom and in the middle of my english class; they come when you least expect them too. If you force it out then it wont be that good (for me, that is). Of course, you can go out and find inspiration by walking outside or listening to music, but dont try to force out ideas—let them come to you.
You can write about real life occurrences that have taken place, or base stories off those. ‘Two Cups of Sugar’ is based off my friends experience of trying to get a guys number at an ice cream bar, but always failing so she went back around seven times—and only got his name in the end.
An upcoming fic i have is based off my boyfriend and i, and how we came to be. To be honest, all my fics are based off some real life experiences i had, or some outrageous stories my friends have told me. ‘Study Sessions’ was some real events, and a few scenes in ‘After Hours.’ What im trying to say is that those simple stories can take you a long way. The scene that started ‘After Hours’ was my friend talking about a bar. It was supposed to be a 4k bar scene, but after thinking about her experience and incorporating it into my own piece, it built its own way to 21k, and an ongoing series.
3. Keeping up motivation. Depending on what youre writing, you should focus on those elements. For example, im writing two fics—one of them being a basketball au and the other a soccer au. My motivation for that has seriously been dying, so ive been watching basketball videos and soccer games to keep my motivation running. Also, it helps when writing out action scenes, ahaha. I also talk to my friends that play those sports and ask them about how they feel about it and the rules of the game. Just kindle your flame with more information.
I know im not the best at giving advice… and there is way more in this whole writing sphere that im not addressing, but i hope this helps!! This is just what i think, what i go through, and my opinion—i really hope this helps you out. I wasnt sure what department you wanted concrete information on, whether it be the writing process or inspiration side or etc, so i briefly did all three :)
I know its a lot, so thank you for spending the time to read all of this ^~^
#Aaah this was great to type with my coffee ahaha#im sitting in the uni right now mortified at the fact i made a typo in my submitted work LOL#but yeah!! i hope this helps somehow ;;#rae rambles#writing advice#anonymous#messages

(I found a very quick (and somewhat crackish) summary of the event with Miku getting SSJ and AU Hibiki and I’m dying. So thought to share the explanations that made me laugh yet suffer all at once & some extra stuff.
With all the AU’s, I’ll be typing in the fact which version of the characters they’re talkin’ about. Plus these are just random parts. The whole thing is here.
>Maria asks (AU) Tsubasa if she knows anything about (AU) Hibiki >Says she doesn’t, but seems like she does >Chris wishes she would just tell them what’s up >Maria and Chris find (AU) Hibiki at a park, she seems like a different person >Maria confronts her, asks her about the previous night (prologue) and the Karma noise >(AU) Hibiki tells her to fuck off, runs away
>Back in the hospital, Hibiki is awake, heard the alarms >Miku says not to worry >Hibiki wants to help people by fighting, but can’t in her condition >Hibiki is falling into -monokuma voice- despair (I personally added the monokuma bit because that’s what it reminded me of lol) >Miku won’t let her >Miku continues to worry
Battle >Everybody welcomes Maria and Chris back >Chris asks about Hibiki, Tsubasa tells them what’s going on while they return >Chris arrives at the medical room >Hibiki seems sick, is very depressed >Chris says they managed without her >Hibiki wonders if she is really needed >Chris says she didn’t mean it like that >“A time will come when we need your power. Until then, take care of yourself. Understand?”
-SCREAMING FROM ME ENSUES-
Everyone arrives really quickly. Tsubasa and Chris hurriedly ask about the situation. Elfnein thinks she knows the reason for Hibiki's sickness, but she hasn't confirmed it. She believes the two Hibiki’s spirits are resonating. That is, AU Hibiki's negative emotions are coming to Hibiki, making her suffer. Chris asks why its only happening with Hibiki. Elfnein: Its because of the natures of their spirits. Hibiki has strong righteous emotions; on the other hand, AU Hibiki has strong negative emotions. Due to resonance, the difference in emotion potential makes it so that if either side moves, it flows into the others emotions. Even though righteous emotions arent bad, they either dont have much influence on AU Hibiki, or she isnt aware of them. However, Hibiki is rapidly taking in negative emotions, and her mind and body arent adjusting well. It doesn't affect anyone else, since their personalities are probably close. Hibiki's recent collapse was probably influenced by AU Hibiki being hit by the Karma Noise, since Karma Noise are connected to negative emotions strongly.
Chris: Hey, you… AU Hibiki: What is it? Chris: I’m Chris Yukine. 17 years old. My birthday is December 28, and my blood type is A. The thing I like is… Anpan! AU Hibiki: What, all of a sudden? Chris: Remember it! Maria: I’m Maria Cadenzavna Eve. 22 years old. AU Hibiki: Even you…what in the world? Maria: Haha, just a self-introduction. Just remembering the old days a little, right? AU Hibiki: I’m leaving.
(obvious callback to Hibiki introducing herself to Chris when they were enemies I cry)
>Chris: I am senpai please rely on me >Maria tells them to stop wasting time and go to Div2 >Chris is upset that Miku addresses her as "Chris" but Maria as "Maria-san"
>Edgebikki (aka AU Hibiki) says she doesn't care, tells Miku to go away because she's distracting >Miku says she wants to talk to edgebikki longer >Edgebikki doesn't want to talk >Miku asks about how edgebikki saved her in the Karma noise fight >Edgebikki is surprised >Miku says that she did, and so she wants to thank her >Edgebikki says that it wasn't her intention and is merely Miku's misunderstanding >Miku doubles down and says that edgebikki protected her >Edgebikki reiterates that it was merely a coincidence, and therefore no thanks is needed >Miku says that it was certainly thanks to edgebikki >Hibiki tells Miku to go home and not follow her >Edgebikki wonders what Miku's deal is >Continues to deny to herself that she saved Miku >Edgebikki's heart hurts >Realizes it isn't pain, she wouldn't feel pain from something like that anymore >Convinces herself that she doesn't need anyone, being alone is fine
>AU Genjuurou put the Karma noise data into the simulator so that they could train >Chris is surprised that he could do that >Maria says that their Gen is a martial arts specialist >AU Gen says he knows basic self defense, but has no further knowledge of martial arts >Rather, he likes to handle machines and watches sci-fi instead of action movies >Maria remembers hearing that Kanade's Genjuurou liked to watch mysteries >They train with Gen's new simulator upgrade
>AU Tsubasa thinks ignite is very cool >Maria explains how Dainsleif interacts with the Karma noise, making it useless >Chris says that if they could use it freely then any number of Karma noise would be no big deal >Maria says that she wouldn't say that much, but it makes fighting very easy >AU Tsubasa wants them to fight her ignited >It's too dangerous >I don't care, I'm Div2's sword
>Miku in the forest again with edgebikki >Miku asks if edgebikki likes the forest >No response >Miku says she wants to fight with edgebikki to defeat the Karma noise from before >They need to join forces or else they won't be able to defeat it >Therefore they need edgebikki's help >Edgebikki is shocked by the proposal and wants none of it >Says that Miku will have to drag her kicking and screaming >Transforms >"I won't work with anybody. If you want me to cooperate, use your power to force me to submit"
>They are having trouble against the Karma noise >AU Tsubasa wants them to leave it to her and buy some time >"Listen. This is the song of a sentinel." >Tsubasa jams, as she does when she feels threatened >Maria and Chris shout at her for being dumb >Tsubasa apologizes in her thoughts, continues to jam anyway >Karma noise is dead but Tsubasa faints >The ground starts shaking, as if there was an earthquake
(when your zesshou is considered a jam session)
>Maria asks what the fuck the Kaiju was >It's an autonomous complete relic called Goliath that was stored in the Ruins of Memory
>Activated by the large amounts of PHONIC GAIN from Tsubasa jamming >So what should we do >I dunno >I guess we should deal with the Kaiju >By the way you should help us with that >We were going to do that anyway
>Back in our world, the home team is still fighting noise >Wonder if there's too many for the three of them to handle >Let's ganbarou >Wouldn't X-Drive be really nice right about now >We don't have X-Drive
Anyway, point being despite how crackish 95% of the summary is, this really helps with a look in AU Hibiki’s sense of mind. I love it. I had a feeling about some of this stuff, but it just feels better to see/read so I can get a feel and play around with it. For example;
Miku tells AU Hibiki about normal Hibiki and she’s like--
>(I'm envious... I'm jealous... This person... I want to destroy her...) >(No! I won't think about something like that--!)
She’s basically all of normal Hibiki’s negative emotions/flaws culminated into one being with small glimpses of happiness yet doesn’t allow herself to hope so she won’t be disappointed. She’s also kiiiiinda violent in her way of thinking, situation depending.
Also called normal Hibiki “failure of a person” due to how inadequate at things she sounds.
I could go on in terms of other stuff but I shall not. It’s late. Lmao.
Bury me in AU Hibiki where I shall write her one day.)
Kinda unrelated, but it seems that the AU Miku in that world can use SSJ, while AU Hibiki got her Gear erased and can’t use Gungnir anymore which is amazing. Like their roles switched.)
#ooc#(But for real this shizz helps me now; I feel SOOOOO much better about knowing what's going on kinda XDD)#(Anyway I can just play around with this shizz bless)

Thoughts on the recent terrorist attack in London
So long time followers have noticed that I don’t really talk about my in these posts, that is kind of “my opinions” “nonsense I like” and “Objective facts” and most of what you get from me comes from the tone I have and the various insults i use, and the works I recommend (hint hint). I don’t really talk about myself on the internet and I am not a very personable person when I am not in person (I fucking love that sentence and I am standing by it fuck you). But my entire life has basically been growing up with the panic of “Random crazy people are going to kill you at any moment” all my life and I’ve gotten kinda normalized to it, so I kinda want to talk about this in response to the terrorist attacks we are seeing in Europe.
As you can tell by my love of diversity and general attitude, I am a New Yorker from NYC and my mom use to work at the Twin Towers, my family had a friend on one of the planes, and between 9/11 and Columbine, almost all of my life has been under this constant sense of dread and fear about the random violence that makes up the world and how we can respond to make that fear go away. I consider it ironic that I was born in 1991 just as the Cold War fell and the US was ready for its “lets relax” phase. So growing up constantly being told that somebody was trying to kill me is pretty normal and unlike my parents, the person who is trying to kill me isn’t easily recognizable like the Soviet Union or the Nazis for my Grandparents, its “terrorism” this vague undefined nebulous thing that never seems to go away or have a face other than Muslim and middle eastern. And it says something for the kind of world that I live in that when i read about a terrorist attack in London my initial gut reaction was three simultaneous emotions
1) Oh no, those poor people
2) Oh goddamnit not again
3) Oh boy, now we are going to go fuck up the war on terror even mroe
Now some of you might be like “holy shit you monster, you are cynical to this” but yes, yes, I am, because there have been so many of these terrorist attacks that this is normal to me now, despite never actually being the victim of one. this is my new normal, and as has been observed many times, democracies cannot work if a wartime mentality is the norm rather than the exception.
Part of the reason why I am so desensitized is because the entire way we understand terrorism is stupid and motivated by emotions rather than you know...facts. In the big box of “get people to vote against their own interest” Terrorism is like...the biggest thing in the box, I mixed up my metaphor. But we totally understand terrorism wrong and part of that is the fact I earlier said that there have been so many of these things but...there actually haven’t. It seems like a lot but since 9/11 there have only been a few dozen international terrorist attacks in the West, the largest number of terrorist attacks continue to be domestic terrorist attacks by people like Dylann Roof, which we arent’ doing anything about because it isn’t as sexy as a foreign enemy, thanks military industrial complex. ALso because its easier for us to dehumanize our fellow citizens particularly if they are white men, then it is brown people from countries we can’t find on a map with names we can’t pronounce
I realize my tone and writing in response to this event is utterly irreverent of the fact that 4 people are dead and at least 20 more are injured, that for those people they were just having a normal day and suddenly found themselves in a war zone, that for the families of those people in the span of five mins their world has come crashing down and all across the UK people are going to be in a state of fear, but I can no longer respond to terrorist attacks without responding to...well the response to the terrorist attack. Because we spend so much time turning this into a nebulous form of fear and don’t ever try to understand the motivation of our enemies, we always seem to do exactly what they want us to do.
You know how the right talks about “tough choices” and “making hard decisions” and “looking at things from a military perspective?” Well lets try that for a second, lets look at things from a cold pragmatic military view point. 4 dead and 20 wounded, in terms of the UK as a whole what does that do to hurt it? If 4 people had fatal heart attacks and 20 more people got into non fatal car accidents today, would that effect the UK’s ability to function as a country their ability to fight ISIS, their power as a major nation? No, just like 3,000 people killed in a day didn’t actually harm the US in a major way from a resource level, I mean look at how many people die from automobile accidents per year. So if you were a terrorist trying to destroy the West, why bother, why kill a few people when it makes no difference? There aren’t enough of these attacks to really add up the numbers, you’d have to have an attack like this every day in the UK to even start to make a difference and that would take years. So why do terrorists do it? They are trying to bait us, its a trap. Bin Laden never though 9/11 was going to destroy America in its, he thought that American would get involved in a long pointless unwinnable expensive war in the middle east and that would destroy America and...hey he was right. Terrorists do attacks like this to try to provoke us into doing what they want, and because we are emotionally upset by the attack and because we refuse to imagine the middle east complexly, we always fall into these traps.
For example, why do you think the Paris attacks and the Germany attacks, and the Belgium Attacks happened last year? What did that do to help ISIS in a practical way? Why did ISIS do that? Couldn’t they have used those men and bombs to fight more directly in Iraq/Syria? Its not like random Parisians are responsible for ISIS’s recent military defeats. Well they are trying to change European politics in two ways. Firstly, they want people to blame the refugees and secondly to allow the Far Right to rise. The Far Right is good for ISIS, because not only do they make recruitment easier and are more likely to get bogged down in stupid middle eastern conflicts, they also agree with ISIS on one basic principle. That Islam and the West are incompatible. Which of course isn’t true, there are literally millions of Muslims who are totally assimilated into the West, but that claim is what keeps ISIS alive. See the refugees terrify ISIS, like if you read their posts to each other and look at what they are talking about, they are batshit horrified by the refugee crisis, because of something called the Grey Zone, the hypothetical moment when Islam becomes as integrated into the West as Judaism is. Because once that happens, the entire argument of fundamentalist Islam will be proven to be a lie and all of these terrorist groups will find their support vanish. ISIS claims to be the new caliphate, and the fact that millions of Muslims are running away from ISIS to the secular, decadent, democratic, feminist, Islamophobic west makes ISIS look terrible, it ruins their PR. If we wanted to win this War on Terror, we would take in as many refugees as possible and integrate them as quickly as possible, so that we could use that as a rhetorical sledge hammer against militant Islam “Hey look, the West accepts Muslims more than you do” So ISIS tries to prevent this by doing terrorist attacks that will provoke heavy handed responses, and they cheer every time we do a Muslim ban or use refugees as scapegoat or say Islam is a religion of hate, because that is exactly what they want. Brexit did more to help ISIS than any terrorist attack ever could.
After the Paris Bombings new security measures basically made that kind of mass organization impossible, and more and more terrorist attacks in Europe today involve cars and knives, things that people can access in their day to day lives. And in many ways that shows that the security system worked, bombing campaigns simply aren’t possible anymore. But then since we haven’t addressed the core problem they switch to cars. These hard line responses don’t work, torture didn’t reduce terrorism, neither did the invasions in Iraq, nor the Drone Strikes nor the airport security. Because we are basically playing defensive, responding to everything they do to provoke us, the only way to really win this damn thing is if we played offensively and our political leaders don’t want to do that because that would involve actually imagining Islam complexly. So we just use a bunch of tough sounding rhetoric and hope the problem goes away
Wars aren’t ever won by doing exactly what the enemy wants us to do, and until we actually sit down and try to understand what this war is about, we aren’t fighting to win, we are just wasting time. And those poor people in London will have effectively died in order to give ISIS what they want, it makes me sick. This is why I don’t get personal in these sorts of things.

Adtwixt - News: 400+ Things to Declutter When Downsizing What I Decluttered
Downsizing the size of your home isnt difficult. It is finding things to declutter to ensure you fit comfortably in your new space that is difficult.
My husband and I learned quickly how to declutter stuff from our home we didnt need or want. Sure, a big part of this was because we moved out of a 1,400+ square foot house into a 600 square foot studio apartment, but we knew we were up for the challenge.
We realized that we dont have to have a lot to be happy. In fact, I now know the opposite is true.
Because downsizing isnt easy, I think it is necessary to walk you through my decluttering list before and after we downsized.
The decluttering list before we moved were things we realized we didnt need early into the process. However it is the decluttering list after we moved that really opened my eyes to what we didnt need.
Everyone is different and the things you need are different from my needs.
So when you see that my iron and ironing board made the list, dont panic! Im not telling you that you dont need them if you use them frequently. By all means, keep them. They havent been used in my home in Im not sure how long, so they dont get space in my very limited real estate.
Another thing I would like to address is that I didnt count each and every little bitty item, because the true number would be over 1,000 easy. Honestly, just thinking I decluttered over 1,000 items is crazy!
Things to Declutter When Downsizing
Before I get into my decluttering list, I want to share with you some quick tips for identifying what you can let go of when preparing to downsize yourself.
1 // Declutter Multiples
If you have several items that are the same, declutter them. They can take up a lot of space quickly, so be sure you only keep what you use.
2 // Consider your storage space
Does your smaller home have adequate storage space compared to where you live now? Most likely it doesnt.
In this case, you need to have a priority list of what youre willing to store in the space you have. Trust me, if there isnt space for something low on your list, you really dont need it.
Youll make space for what is truly important.
Do not worry with a storage container, unless there are moving schedule issues. A storage container enables indecision and costs you a lot more than keeping things that arent as important to you.
3 // Be ruthless and honest
Depending on how much youre downsizing, you may have to declutter a lot more than you anticipate.
Be very ruthless in the things you keep and honest about what you truly dont need. Ensure that the things you keep deserve the space they need.
4 // Get it out of the house quickly!
When decluttering to downsize, it is helpful to remove things to declutter from the house as quickly as possible.
This helps you see what you have that you feel is important. Over the period of a few days, your ideas of the things youve kept will adjust and you will likely declutter a few more things.
5 // Declutter as you move into your new home
This is very important! As you move into your new home, youll see what you do and dont have room for after youve moved.
Dont clutter up a space just because you kept too much before the move. Give the items a second thought and declutter what you do not have space for now.
Things to Declutter When Downsizing
Anything mentioned in my lists were either donated, sold via a garage sale, or tossed depending on their condition. I believe it is our responsibility to declutter responsibly and not simply toss everything in the trash.
One mans trash is another mans treasure.
Decluttering List Before We Downsized
Again, I just want to note that just because I dont find things within this list useful doesnt mean that you dont find them useful.
This list consists of everything I can remember decluttering, but I promise there is more. When youre downsizing you figure out the difference between need versus want, especially if your goal is to be comfortable in your downsized space.
Our specific goal was to have a home for everything we kept, so that we knew where everything was when needed. We also wanted to feel like we still had plenty of space after downsizing and not be cluttered by our things.
Now that all of that is out of the way, lets get to this list! Ive categorized things as best as possible, so if youre looking to see a specific part of the list, you can.

Who knew we had so much we did not need in our life?! As far as the space we freed to downsize, a close equivalent would be a car and a half sized garage.
I will say we were not hoarders by any means.
Having 1,450 square feet to fill allowed us to have that much excess. With the exception of my Office/Craft Room, everything had a place. When we decided to downsize, we no longer had that much space to fill, and I wanted a clutter-free space.
Related Post: Tidying Goals that were Achievable In A Weekend!
My husband and I discussed what downsizing would mean in terms of what we owned, and decided the best thing was to let go of everything we could, which led us to continue decluttering after we downsized to ensure we achieved our goals.
Decluttering After We Downsized
This process was a bit different. We moved into our smaller space and after some time passed, we felt like something was a bit off. My anxiety was a bit high, so I took some action to clear out a bit more.
Let me take you through the process of what I did, then Ill share the decluttering list below that for you.
How I Decluttered Each Space
For the bathroom //
While the first thing I did wasnt decluttering necessarily, I did paint my aloe vera pot white to create a calmer environment within my bathroom. A small and simple fix!
For the kitchen //
I moved all of the vegetables off the counter top to have more space. Replaced my two small utensil holders with one large basket to hold my utensils better.[I do not have a lot, but some pieces are bulky, and I like having them all together.]
I purged a few items due to excess. [These items will be listed at the end of the post.] I also ordered a sample of fabric to see if it will work to get the kitchen project complete.
For the living space //
I purged my book collection. Looking at it every day reminded me of which books I have not to read, and which book I need to finish. Asking myself why I needed a book helped a lot!
I let go of40% of my collection by analyzing why I held onto a book! For the books I have yet to read, I read the synopsis to see if it still sounded appealing to read. If it did, I kept it. If not, the library received it!
Below are two pictures of the books I donated. The two towers were easy enough to make a decision on, and the other picture were the two items I thought about before making my decision.
For the bedroom area //
I simply cleaned up the space, put everything in its place, and organized my clothes and shoes. I tried my best to simplify the appearance of what we have.
We do not have an enclosed closet, and having empty hangers bother me! I caught up on laundry and hid the extras we have, so that my mind could release this silly annoyance.
For everything else //
I went through and tossed what was not necessary to keep. I have old sports awards that I want to keep, but I told myself I could only do it if it fit in my keepsake box.
Also, I had a couple of boxes to go through and sort, and was able to clean out all of the boxes and rid them from our space. One box contained random cords, another contained office supplies, and a box of things that accidentally ended up in the garage sale stuff.
Having these boxes out of the space is so nice! Since I do not have or need an office anymore, I took my supplies to work and actually use them instead of storing them!
Now I can look around my home and not see just-in-case boxes or a task I need to complete!
By the time I finished, I had 2 large totes and 2 boxes full of things to donate, 1 sack of things I tossed, and a more tidy space than before I started! How in the world did I still have so much excess?!
My goal now is to have the rest of my stored things organized into the empty totes and get started putting my fall and winter capsule wardrobe together.
Now let us get to the list of what I donated! Starting with the list of home goods, and then a list of the books I gave to the library including the reason why I let go of each one.
Decluttering List After We Downsized
1 Three piece jar set 1 full size Christmas wax warmer 2 plug-in Christmas wax warmers 2 scare crows on a stick 1 scare crow and pumpkin decor piece 1 recycles glass bottle 3 Christmas wall plaques 1 Red Dish 1 Christmas 12 piece Dish Set 1 Serving Platter 1 Snowman paper towel holder 6 picture frames 100+ ornaments 2 crochet dollies[?] 2 Christmas decor wall plaques 1 Christmas card holder 1 organizer box 3 Christmas gift boxes [decor] 1 scare crow candy container 1 Trick or Treat candy container 2 Red Beaded Christmas Tree cones 22 cabinet hinges [From a project that did not happen. Returned to store for store credit.] 1 Wine Glass 3 Baskets 2 Perfumes 1 blender cup 1 dish scrubber 1 reusable plastic bottle 2 small boxes of tea 1 plastic tupperware [does not match current set] 4 candles 1 salad lunch organizer 1 pair of earrings 1 blue blouse 1 pair of grey heels 1 vintage cream holder 11 scarves 1 toboggan 1 belt 3 pairs of jeans 1 pair of flip flops 1 random fork 1 feather [decor] 3 Christmas nesting bowls 3 Christmas dish cloths 1 pot holder 1 oven mitt 1 cake pan with lid 3 wooden cooking spoons 2 spatulas 1 cookie spatula 1 pair of tongs 4 vintage picture frames 20 old pictures[ tossed not going to donate pictures of myself of course] Several sheets and pillow cases I did not know we had[I repurposed these into shop rags for my husband.]
Downsizing was the best decision we could have made for our lives! It forced us to identify the clutter in our lives and allowed us to let go of personal attachment to items. This freed us from the stuff that did not serve a purpose in our lives.
Looking back at the things I tossed always leaves me baffled, because I had no idea there was so many things clouding our lives that we truly didnt need.
I know I always talk about how minimalism changed my life, but it definitely changed my husbands life as well.
If youre ready to declutter, I highly encouarge you to check out my 30 Day Minimalist Decluttering Challenge. It will help you not only declutter your physical things, but also your mind!

How to Implement a National Tracking Strategy
Posted by TheMozTeam
Google is all about serving up results based on your precise location, which means there’s no such thing as a “national” SERP anymore. So, if you wanted to get an accurate representation of how you’re performing nationally, you’d have to track every single street corner across the country.
Not only is this not feasible, it’s also a headache — and the kind of nightmare that keeps your accounting team up at night. Because we’re in the business of making things easy, we devised a happier (and cost-efficient) alternative.
Follow along and learn how to set up a statistically robust national tracking strategy in STAT, no matter your business or budget. And while we’re at it, we’ll also show you how to calculate your national ranking average.
Let’s pretend we’re a large athletic retailer. We have 30 stores across the US, a healthy online presence, and the powers-that-be have approved extra SEO spend — money for 20,000 additional keywords is burning a hole in our pocket. Ready to get started?
Step 1: Pick the cities that matter most to your business
Google cares a lot about location and so should you. Tracking a country-level SERP isn’t going to cut it anymore — you need to be hyper-local if you want to nab results.
The first step to getting more granular is deciding which cities you want to track in — and there are lots of ways to do this: The top performers? Ones that could use a boost? Best and worst of the cyber world as well as the physical world?
When it comes time for you to choose, nobody knows your business, your data, or your strategy better than you do — ain’t nothing to it but to do it.
A quick note for all our e-commerce peeps: we know it feels strange to pick a physical place when your business lives entirely online. For this, simply go with the locations that your goods and wares are distributed to most often.
Even though we’re a retail powerhouse, our SEO resources won’t allow us to manage all 30 physical locations — plus our online hotspots — across the US, so we'll cut that number in half. And because we’re not a real business and we aren’t privy to sales data, we'll pick at random.
From east to west, we now have a solid list of 15 US cities, primed, polished, and poised for our next step: surfacing the top performing keywords.
Step 2: Uncover your money-maker keywords
Because not all keywords are created equal, we need to determine which of the 4,465 keywords that we’re already tracking are going to be spread across the country and which are going to stay behind. In other words, we want the keywords that bring home the proverbial bacon.
Typically, we would use some combination of search volume, impressions, clicks, conversion rates, etc., from sources like STAT, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics to distinguish between the money-makers and the non-money-makers. But again, we’re a make-believe business and we don’t have access to this insight, so we’re going to stick with search volume.
A right-click anywhere in the site-level keywords table will let us export our current keyword set from STAT. We’ll then order everything from highest search volume to lowest search volume. If you have eyeballs on more of that sweet, sweet insight for your business, order your keywords from most to least money-maker.
Because we don’t want to get too crazy with our list, we’ll cap it at a nice and manageable 1,500 keywords.
Step 3: Determine the number of times each keyword should be tracked
We may have narrowed our cities down to 15, but our keywords need to be tracked plenty more times than that — and at a far more local level.
True facts: A “national” (or market-level) SERP isn’t a true SERP and neither is a city-wide SERP. The closer you can get to a searcher standing on a street corner, the better, and the more of those locations you can track, the more searchers’ SERPs you’ll sample.
We’re going to get real nitty-gritty and go as granular as ZIP code. Addresses and geo coordinates work just as well though, so if it’s a matter of one over the other, do what the Disney princesses do and follow your heart.
The ultimate goal here is to track our top performing keywords in more locations than our poor performing ones, so we need to know the number of ZIP codes each keyword will require. To figure this out, we gotta dust off the old desktop calculator and get our math on.
First, we’ll calculate the total amount of search volume that all of our keywords generate. Then, we’ll find the percentage of said total that each keyword is responsible for.
For example, our keyword [yeezy shoes] drew 165,000 searches out of a total 28.6 million, making up 0.62 percent of our traffic.
A quick reminder: Every time a query is tracked in a distinct location, it’s considered a unique keyword. This means that the above percentages also double as the amount of budgeted keywords (and therefore locations) that we’ll award to each of our queries. In (hopefully) less confusing terms, a keyword that drives 0.62 percent of our traffic gets to use 0.62 percent of our 20,000 budgeted keywords, which in turn equals the number of ZIP codes we can track in. Phew.
But! Because search volume is, to quote our resident data analyst, “an exponential distribution,” (which in everyone else-speak means “gets crazy large”) it’s likely going to produce some unreasonably big numbers. So, while [yeezy shoes] only requires 124 ZIP codes, a keyword with much higher search volume, like [real madrid], might need over 1,000, which is patently bonkers (and statistical overkill).
To temper this, we highly recommend that you take the log of the search volume — it’ll keep things relative and relational. If you’re working through all of this in Excel, simply type =log(A2) where A2 is the cell containing the search volume. Because we're extra fancy, we'll multiply that by four to linearly scale things, so =log(A2)*4.
So, still running with our Yeezy example, our keyword goes from driving 0.62 percent of our traffic to 0.13 percent. Which then becomes the percent of budgeted keywords: 0.0013 x 20,000 = tracking [yeezy shoes] in 26 zip codes across our 15 cities.
We then found a list of every ZIP code in each of our cities to dole them out to.
The end. Sort of. At this point, like us, you may be looking at keywords that need to be spread across 176 different ZIP codes and wondering how you're going to choose which ZIP codes — so let our magic spreadsheet take the wheel. Add all your locations to it and it'll pick at random.
Of course, because we want our keywords to get equal distribution, we attached a weighted metric to our ZIP codes. We took our most searched keyword, [adidas], found its Google Trends score in every city, and then divided it by the number of ZIP codes in those cities. For example, if [adidas] received a score of 71 in Yonkers and there are 10 ZIP codes in the city, Yonkers would get a weight of 7.1.
We'll then add everything we have so far — ZIP codes, ZIP code weights, keywords, keyword weights, plus a few extras — to our spreadsheet and watch it randomly assign the appropriate amount of keywords to the appropriate amount of locations.
And that’s it! If you’ve been following along, you’ve successfully divvied up 20,000 keywords in order to create a statistically robust national tracking strategy!
Curious how we’ll find our national ranking average? Read on, readers.
Step 4: Segment, segment, segment!
20,000 extra keywords makes for a whole lotta new data to keep track of, so being super smart with our segmentation is going to help us make sense of all our findings. We’ll do this by organizing our keywords into meaningful categories before we plug everything back into STAT.
Obviously, you are free to sort how you please, but we recommend at least tagging your keywords by their city and product category (so [yeezy shoes] might get tagged “Austin” and “shoes”). You can do all of this in our keyword upload template or while you're in our magic spreadsheet.
Once you’ve added a tag or two to each keyword, stuff those puppies into STAT. When everything’s snug as a bug, group all your city tags into one data view and all your product category tags into another.
Step 5: Calculate your national ranking average
Now that all of our keywords are loaded and tracking in STAT, it’s time to tackle those ranking averages. To do that, we’ll simply pop on over to the Dashboard tab from either of our two data views.
A quick glimpse of the Average Ranking module in the Daily Snapshot gives us, well, our average rank, and because these data views contain every keyword that we’re tracking across the country, we’re also looking at the national average for our keyword set. Easy-peasy.
To see how each tag is performing within those data views, a quick jump to the Tags tab breaks everything down and lets us compare the performance of a segment against the group as a whole.
So, if our national average rank is 29.7 but our Austin keywords have managed an average rank of 27.2, then we might look to them for inspiration as our other cities aren't doing quite as well — our keywords in Yonkers have an average rank of 35.2, much worse than the national average.
Similarly, if our clothes keywords are faring infinitely worse than our other product categories, we may want to revamp our content strategy to even things out.
Go get your national tracking on
Any business — yes, even an e-commerce business — can leverage a national tracking strategy. You just need to pick the right keywords and locations.
Once you have access to your sampled population, you’ll be able to hone in on opportunities, up your ROI, and bring more traffic across your welcome mat (physical or digital).
