The Happy Bohemian's view yesterday at the Sunday Market My second ever Urban Sketch What I've learned about this thing called Urban Sketching and myself. - the process is a fun way to look at your surroundings - everything you see doesnt literally get on the paper, it may be better to get quick, hint to images, put down splotches - I like drawing people, capturing their sassy selves, ;) - I love watercolor - tried a waterbrush, not totally sold on that over a trad brush, learning curve - I love half pan watercolor and am most at ease with winsor and newton paint - people love seeing their enterprise as your focus subject - people are facinated by art - am looking forward to the next one The waffle cart folks enjoyed seeing themselves in my creation. :) Mixed media paper, pencil underdrawing, pigma pen outline, watercolor splashes, all new to me from start to finish. #urbansketchng #urbansketch #watercolor #watercolorartist #watercolorsketching #art #wafflecart #kahuku #northshore #newtome #winsorandnewton #winsornewton #happyart #happycolors #findyourhappy #thehappybohemian #addingtohumanhappiness

Such happy colors! Got the palette sample on the box lid. Had to do it, even though I painted it out on paper too. Made some great vibrant pictures with it already. First run, my review is 5 of 5 stars The color is intense, washes out to blend evenly, for what I do with watercolor. Love the inky stage of this paint. They know how to do sumi-e style recipes. The pigment is walkable, it moves where I send it. The color stratus is still vibrant, not chalky. I've used Koi (I started with them), winsor newton, holbein, this may be My Paint for now, in my style and needs.
