Since I can't get into playing an accordion this year, (maybe next year if all goes well) I might dive head first into a hobby I've been wanting to get into for the past couple years but really haven't let myself in any capacty.
If you saw my earlier post this won't be a surprise, but it's film photography.
I can at least test it out for 20$ cause walmart has their own brand of point and shoot film camera, and they sell film now. So I can test this out for pretty cheap, and get film when I want.
#very much so#I have been off and on looking into it for two years now and my fondest childhood memories are times when my parents handed me a disposable#camera for family events. I don't even think a lot of the pics turned out most of the time#but the act of taking those pictures and the fun of it of taking a pic and rolling the flim and all of that? wow. love it.#so..... and thus a new old man hobby is added to the list#jk. most people into film it seems are people my age or a little older#I am. I am really excited but also I can feel they hyper-fixation coming on haha

#do better ppl#context: adding to the poetry journal and ive got nothing new in the tumblr repository#few things saved on insta reddit my camera roll and physical books w me but disappointing i havent caught anything here in a few months#im also going crazy now bc i swear TO GOD i wrote the port version of o poeta é um fingedor or however you say it in english#(thats the first line in port bc its what i remember atm) but its not in my book from that time period#possible i added a sheet and slipped it in with the english vers somewhere but i didnt see an extra sheet in that book#though i didnt go to the exact page w that poem#also had a ebook that returned to hoopla when i still had poems marked on it (doesnt let you screenshot) -- unforgivable#need to do better fr. start lugging this notebook w me again bc keeping it in the dorm has me adding like 3 poems every 2 months its so bad#also i unsubscribed from the poetry emails so 😭😭😭 have been reading less of those anyways its all connected
