My Pokemon OC!

I decided to bite the bullet and create a post here for my OC because Wynaut! (In the spirit of it being a Pokemon OC and my obsession with saying 'Wynaut' like a Wynaut, I have to make that pun.)

So here is my OC! Yes, I have my notes elsewhere for me to look at and read and revise etc. but I don't care! I want them here too!

(Also, my memory of the anime, manga and games aren't that great, so if I stuff things up I'm more likely to get told by others how incorrect it is compared to if I stare at my notes trying to think of when, what and how something happened.)

So! Bio time!

Name: A/Absolute (referred to by N) | X Odysseus (referred to by Team Plasma) | Alfie (referred to by Ash and friends) Age: 18-20 Gender: Nonbinary (TBD) Pronouns: She/Her, They/Them

Personality:

She is quiet, introverted and doesn't speak. She can communicate with Pokemon telepathically, and only hangs around Ash, Iris and Cilan. They're friendly but overprotective and will go to extreme lengths to protect her friends.[1] However, when they're under a lot of pressure or anxiety, they'll either run away or transform to protect themself.

Physical Description (TBC):

They're 1.6m tall, has brown hair with pink tips (for the style, imagine on the top it comes out like Mew's ears and ends in a ponytail like Mew's tail), blue eyes (like Mew and Zoroark), and has lightly tanned skin. She likes to dress in whatever they find prettiest or most comfortable, sometimes copying Ash, Iris or Cilan's style of dress although Cilan's would be a bit more practical? (Just thinking about how much running they would be doing although she might choose to only dress like Cilan when helping to prepare food, etc.) When she was younger and living on her own in the forest, their clothes were made by Leavannys either repairing what she already had or making them new clothes.

Transform - Using Transform allows them to become any Pokemon, person or thing. She is able to use the powers of whatever she transforms into. She can only transform for a set amount of time that shortens with each use of a move (e.g. after transforming into Pikachu they can stay in this form for an hour, but using Thunderbolt will shorten it down to 45 minutes) (TBD)

Telepathy - Their passive ability allows her to communicate with Pokemon and N. (They have the power to put her thought into others/peer into their minds, but she chooses not to as it disturbs them and brings discomfort.)

Pound - They can hit really hard.

Life Dew - She is able to heal herself and those around her (NOT LEARNED UNTIL LATER).

Backstory:

A was an experiment of Team Plasma. Having learned of Kanto's evil organisation, Team Rocket, and their efforts to create the most perfect and strongest Pokemon using Mew and Deoxys. This led Ghetsis, the leader of Team Plasma, and Colress, an esteemed and high-ranking scientist, to do their own experiments except they used a child instead of blood samples. This resulted in a fusion between parts of Zorua, Mew and the child - named X Odysseus - who had come to possess similar abilities to these Pokemon. Their plans for her weren't to be the strongest or most perfect tool for Team Plasma as they already had another child whom she would become playmates with: the Prince of Team Plasma, N. Before Anthea and Concordia became N's foster sisters, X Odysseus' role was to assist in strengthening the Prince's already incredible ability to commune with and understand Pokemon. It was from their friendship that N decided to give them a new name - Absolute - because of his dislike to her old one. With N, she was happy. But everyday she would return to her room in the labs and despite the experiments performed on them had become fewer, the pain of it all didn't go away. Although the scientists knew of N's ability to hear the true voices of Pokemon, they didn't take into account the child's emotions and thoughts to be picked up by N, so used to seeing her as more human than Pokemon. One day, he asked her about why she was so upset and why she was hiding the truth from him. Scared that N might reveal these things to the organisation or his father, Ghetsis, A finally escaped with the help from Pokemon within N's Castle and found herself in an untouched forest. They had planned to say goodbye to N but couldn't in their rush. Later, N was told by Ghetsis that she had run away to be with humans, knowing N's hatred towards them and using it as a way to make him forget about her. But N had his doubts and, when he had grown old enough to begin his journey as King, he also searched for A. The result of being kept in N's Castle for all of her childhood made them fear humans until the day they met Ash. When she first met him, they were shocked that he was scared of them and grew curious about why. With the accompaniment of Pikachu, they soon got to know each other, but A disappeared when Iris and Cilan came looking for Ash. Still curious about him, A bid her Pokemon friends from the forest goodbye and began to follow him on his journey, finding reasons to trust some but not all humans. They did their best to stay hidden from the group, her use of Transform helping somewhat, but Iris caught onto her and managed to corner them, demanding why they were following them. Before she had a chance to retaliate or run away, Ash stepped in and explained who they were and tells her how happy he was to see them again. Once he introduced everyone to each other - along the way, Iris and Cilan come up with name 'Alfie' for them - A felt calmer around them and becomes a permanent member of their group although always hovering near Ash.

1. Are there any characters in your fandom or faceclaims you refuse to RP with? Who and why? I don't really like RPing with people who use IRL faceclaims for their anime/manga/game muse, or people who use other anime faceclaims for their canon character (oc's are an obvious exception since its EXPENSIVE or extremely time-consuming to put all that work into making custom icons). Its more of an immersion break thing for me? Like, you're saying that you're Sasuke, but that image is of Sebastian Stan. I can't think around it as easily and it takes me out of my flow. No judgement, but I just can't do it.

12. What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to the fandom you RP in?

It's the way non-men muses are treated in this fandom ngl. Women and nonbinary characters are absolutely ignored in favor of the yaoi boy of the week, or villainized for the same traits that are seen as admirable in the men characters. It's a problem in all fandoms but good god does pokemon have it bad.

I HAAATE Ghetsis (not ppl who rp him? I just hate the character) so so much I hope he explodes. But man is he determined, good at manipulating people, and fucking strong as shit. I hope he dies in hell. <3

More Random Pokémon character headcanons except they’re mostly Unova and some are angsty

Ingo and Emmet are mirror image twins. Ingo has situs inversus(his organs are flipped, his heart is on his right etc.)(yes, mirror image twins are a real thing).

Melli(he/they) is nonbinary and omnisexual.

Cynthia, Ghetsis, and Lusamine(and by extension Gladion and Lillie) are all related through Volo.

Ghetsis’s(he/him) partial paralysis was caused by an incident where he was mauled by a Druddigon whilst trying to save N. He’s also missing his right eye.

Ironically, Cynthia(she/her) is completely blind in her left eye.

Drayden(he/him) is one of the twin princes from the Unova myth. He was granted immortality by Jirachi after a tragic event left his brother dead. 

Ingo, Emmet, and N are descended from Drayden's brother.

If N(he/him) ever has a child, they would inherit his ability to understand pokémon.

N and Lance(he/him) are related, though it's not known how close.

Lance also has the same abilities as N, just to a lesser degree.

To have psychic abilities, a trainer has to be born with “a foot in each world,”(ex. Very, very sickly, or nearly dead).

Adaman(he/they) is naturally a brunet. He’s also genderqueer and bisexual.

Wulfric(he/him) would beat Gaeric(he/him) in a fistfight.

Flint(he/him) and Buck(he/him) are biracial but have very light skin(this can really happen).

Cyrus(he/him) died of starvation in the distortion world shortly after he was sent there.

Wallace(he/they) and Lance notoriously do not get along well.
