Agatha Everheart had seen quite a lot in her years on this earth. Crazy people trying to wrangle cougars, shy children who ask for a candy, the average joe, she’s seen the whole spectrum. With all of these individuals, she usually sees them once or twice before never again.
There is one person she’s known for a long time, one who she has grown to care for and cherish as her own little sweetpea. This being Seth Greer.
Meeting him in his early twenties and her mid fifties, he was a rough and rebellious boy. He was mean and brutally honest. This turned most off from meeting or getting to know the lad, but not Agatha.
She knew what it took for someone to be like that, especially someone with such scarring, inside and out.
Inviting him inside, the woman offered him a small job by way of asking him to get something up high for her, tall as he was. Agatha continued requesting assistance until closing, and was pleased to see him return the next day to help again.
Over the years, her sweetpea warmed up to her and opened up, spilling tears as he explained why people usually veered away from him. It’d broken her old heart when he sobbed as she held him close, and she promised she’d always be there to help, even with just a cookie.
Then, Seth created a group. It was formed out of his supernatural interest, wanting to help people with their encounters. Agatha couldn’t be more proud.
People, youngin’s, joined. Sarah, Adam, and Jonah.
When her darling boy brought them for her to meet, she noticed the protective look in his eye, and so, she started to bake for her new grandchildren right away. They were much too skinny, Seth included!
Adam and Jonah rarely visited again, but Seth and Sarah still popped by regularly. Despite this, Agatha cared for her grandsons as much as she did her granddaughter, remembering their favourites and having Seth deliver them.
When one day, her son came in looking ragged, the woman turned the sign to closed, going to question and comfort the man.
Her heart broke again when he whispered Adam and Jonah were gone. He wasn’t as close to them as he was Sarah, but that didn’t mean he didn’t see them as family, no matter how much Adam seemed to dislike him.
Agatha comforted him, wiping and gently shushing his tears. Telling him she was there, and that she always would be.
It felt like the first time Seth’d opened up, crying and begging her not to abandon him. Though now, it was him questioning why the world kept trying to take his family away. So, she resolved to never leave her son on his own.
No matter the others he lost, God himself would have to smite her down before Agatha Everheart let her son not have anyone to hold and for anyone to hold him.
Her little sweetpea deserved the world. That didn’t necessarily mean the world deserved him.
[SHE *CLAPS* LOVES *CLAPS* HER *CLAPS* SON]
YEAHHHHH
MEEMAW LOVES HER ADOPTED SON-
#asks are neat#super cool fan stuff#it’s just. so nice for him to have a good mother figure#it just so happens to be the sweet old lady that runs a bakery in Bythorne.#meemaw Agatha. here to help

Confidence was never gonna be something that Adam would lack. He worked too hard for his spot to let anyone knock him off his pedestal. If that meant he sat higher than the others or held his chin up more than they did, so be it. If they wanted to get on his level, they would have to do what he did. If they wanted to stay on the ground level, that wasn't any of his business. He knew his trajectory was only going higher and higher.
"You won't be seeing anybody else up here. That much I can promise you." He knew the roster and though he didn't win every single match he was in, he won far more than he lost. He had a great success rate, and he wasn't about to let it fall by the wayside now. Looking at the brochure, Oscar could see that Adam would be going up against Joshua Alton. "Call me Mr. Hospitality. I can't have one of our most generous benefactors unsatisfied." He smiled and ran his finger along Oscar's jaw slowly while he not so subtly flexed his free arm. "Are you satisfied, Everheart? I can get whatever you need at the snap of my finger."
It was clear Adam had about twice the confidence as most men and probably some extra to spare. Not that Oscar could really judge, given his own confidence and the way he walked into most rooms like he owned the place. Raising his brow at the confident response that Adam would personally make sure he wasn't bored for even a moment.
"My, my quite the bold statement. So if I do get bored it means it's entirely your fault and your responsibility? Good to know" He hummed, smirk growing a little. He wondered if Adam's dismissal of who he was fighting was because he knew he'd win or he was underestimating his opponent and that could bite him in the ass. Either way Oscar would definitely be entrained by whichever man came out on top.
"Will you now? Well then don't dissapoint me with losing then or perhaps I'll be seeing the other man up here later instead" He remarked, glancing at his brochure in hand to see if the opponent was anyone of note or not. "But I am curious exactly why you're up here, just checking on your VIP guest or is there something you need?"

Hi :)
Thank you for building & maintaining this directory, it’s nice having a blog, where so many different games are collected ♥️
Yesterday I thought about a game I stumbled upon on tumblr a while ago, that had an asexual RO, but I can’t remember anything about it … besides a B (not hundert percent sure about that either), the first letter of their name. Maybe someone knows which game I’m talking about?
Was exited to discover a few games with a MC, who can be ace (thx for finding them!) – love it, that aro & ace folks are finally getting more rep in this medium 🥰
Hello!

June marks the commencement of LGBT Pride Month, a month-long celebration of both the honor of the 1969 Stonewall Riots and the stand against the discrimination towards lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. And there is no better way to start off this month right by reading amazing books that highlight LGBT themes. So here are ten great book recommendations that you’ll definitely take PRIDE in:
Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
Sixteen-year-old and not-so-openly gay Simon Spier prefers to save his drama for the school musical. But when an email falls into the wrong hands, his secret is at risk of being thrust into the spotlight. Now Simon is actually being blackmailed: if he doesn’t play wingman for class clown Martin, his sexual identity will become everyone’s business. Worse, the privacy of Blue, the pen name of the boy he’s been emailing, will be compromised.
With some messy dynamics emerging in his once tight-knit group of friends, and his email correspondence with Blue growing more flirtatious every day, Simon’s junior year has suddenly gotten all kinds of complicated. Now, change-averse Simon has to find a way to step out of his comfort zone before he’s pushed out—without alienating his friends, compromising himself, or fumbling a shot at happiness with the most confusing, adorable guy he’s never met. (Credit: Balzar & Bray)
More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera
This one was just truly amazing. It was beautifully written and gut wrenching at the same time. Highly recommend this one!
What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera
Arthur is only in New York for the summer, but if Broadway has taught him anything, it’s that the universe can deliver a showstopping romance when you least expect it.
Ben thinks the universe needs to mind its business. If the universe had his back, he wouldn’t be on his way to the post office carrying a box of his ex-boyfriend’s things.
But when Arthur and Ben meet-cute at the post office, what exactly does the universe have in store for them?
Maybe nothing. After all, they get separated.
Maybe everything. After all, they get reunited.
But what if they can’t quite nail a first date . . . or a second first date . . . or a third?
What if Arthur tries too hard to make it work . . . and Ben doesn’t try hard enough?
What if life really isn’t like a Broadway play?
But what if it is? (Credit: HarperTeen)
Passing by Nella Larsen
This book is not only about race relations in the 1920’s. The relationship between Irene and Claire has been read with homoerotic context, as well as the description of Irene’s husband.
If You Could Be Mine by Sara Farizan
Seventeen-year-old Sahar has been in love with her best friend, Nasrin, since they were six. They’ve shared stolen kisses and romantic promises. But Iran is a dangerous place for two girls in love—Sahar and Nasrin could be beaten, imprisoned, even executed if their relationship came to light.
So they carry on in secret—until Nasrin’s parents announce that they’ve arranged for her marriage. Nasrin tries to persuade Sahar that they can go on as they have been, only now with new comforts provided by the decent, well-to-do doctor Nasrin will marry. But Sahar dreams of loving Nasrin exclusively—and openly.
Then Sahar discovers what seems like the perfect solution. In Iran, homosexuality may be a crime, but to be a man trapped in a woman’s body is seen as nature’s mistake, and sex reassignment is legal and accessible. As a man, Sahar could be the one to marry Nasrin. Sahar will never be able to love the one she wants, in the body she wants to be loved in, without risking her life. Is saving her love worth sacrificing her true self? (Credit: Alqonquin Young Readers)
The Price of Salt by Patricia Highsmith
Arguably Patricia Highsmith’s finest, The Price of Salt is story of Therese Belivet, a stage designer trapped in a department-store day job, whose salvation arrives one day in the form of Carol Aird, an alluring suburban housewife in the throes of a divorce. They fall in love and set out across the United States, pursued by a private investigator who eventually blackmails Carol into a choice between her daughter and her lover. With this reissue, The Price of Salt may finally be recognized as a major twentieth-century American novel. (Credit: W.W. Norton & Company)
Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin
Baldwin’s haunting and controversial second novel is his most sustained treatment of sexuality, and a classic of gay literature. In a 1950s Paris swarming with expatriates and characterized by dangerous liaisons and hidden violence, an American finds himself unable to repress his impulses, despite his determination to live the conventional life he envisions for himself. After meeting and proposing to a young woman, he falls into a lengthy affair with an Italian bartender and is confounded and tortured by his sexual identity as he oscillates between the two. (Credit: Penguin Classics)
Goldie Vance Series by Hope Larson, Jackie Ball, Elle Power and Sarah Stern
This is one of my favorite graphic novel series! Goldie Vance is the Nancy Drew for the 21st century!
Orlando by Virginia Woolf
Virginia Woolf’s Orlando ‘The longest and most charming love letter in literature’, playfully constructs the figure of Orlando as the fictional embodiment of Woolf’s close friend and lover, Vita Sackville-West. Spanning three centuries, the novel opens as Orlando, a young nobleman in Elizabeth’s England, awaits a visit from the Queen and traces his experience with first love as England under James I lies locked in the embrace of the Great Frost. At the midpoint of the novel, Orlando, now an ambassador in Costantinople, awakes to find that he is a woman, and the novel indulges in farce and irony to consider the roles of women in the 18th and 19th centuries. As the novel ends in 1928, a year consonant with full suffrage for women. Orlando, now a wife and mother, stands poised at the brink of a future that holds new hope and promise for women. Harriet Price has the perfect life: she’s a prefect at Rosemead Grammar, she lives in a mansion, and her gorgeous girlfriend is a future prime minister. So when she risks it all by creating a hoax to expose the school’s many problems – with help from notorious bad-girl Will Everheart, no less – Harriet tells herself it’s because she’s seeking justice. And definitely not because she finds Will oddly fascinating.
But as Will and Harriet’s campaign heats up, it gets harder for them to remain sworn enemies – and to avoid being caught. As tensions burn throughout the school, how far will they go to keep their mission – and their feelings for each other – a secret? (Credit: Hardie Grant Egmont)
