I just realized that your Pines brothers are in the right time and place to have gone to the infamous Action Park in New Jersey when they were young.

THEY LITERALLY WENT!!! It is canon!!! XD

Ford and Stan almost drowned in the games, came back home bruised and in pain, while Seb watched them completely FURIOUS for being in a water park where he couldnt play ANYWHERE (fear of water). He wanted to go to Seven Flags but ummmm guess who chose the park 🥴🥴(filbrick when i catch you--)

He sat there sad and miserable, throwing a tantrum for being unable to play and being stuck as shermies babysitter

All of MCR grew up in the exact right conditions and place that they could’ve gone to Action Park on a family trip. I mean they were roughly an hour and a half from there so it’s not impossible.

The cannonball loop was a looping water slide in Action Park (New Jersey park). New Jersey residents jokingly called the park Class Action Park and it's wave pool, the Grave Pool.

The Cannonball Loop was only open for a month. Test dummies came out the other side without their heads.

People who went down the slide came out the other side with lacerations. When the cause of the injuries was investigated, it was found that teeth had become lodged in the inside of the slide.

A former Navy physician found that riders were experiencing as much as nine Gs of acceleration as they went through the loop.

As you can see, it was an OSHA nightmare (although technically slides and rides don't fall under OSHA regulation, so a lot of parks are just going nuts, hoping no one's head is removed from their body. Technically there is an oversight committee, but they didn't do a whole lot about the GRAVE POOL).

The slide inspired me to draw this, a Dune sandworm-esc slide with mismatched teeth and a wiry body. I wanted to portray the dread you feel before getting on a ride like the Cannonball Loop. I wanted to give it an almost snake-like body and to have a threatening aura, to better convey the dangerous nature of the ride. By giving it a curved body, I hoped to create a 3-D effect. However, this is my first horror piece, so I think there's plenty of room for improvement.

How do you think a horror game based around action park in the same way fnaf used to be based around chuck e cheese would go?

Kind of tasteless, considering actual real people died there. I guess you could make it a generic fake theme park ala Freddy's vs Chuck E Cheese, but at that point you've just made CarnEvil 2.0

Oh also I finally watched Class Action Park (the documentary abt the history of Action Park) earlier tonight after meaning to watch it for like the last 4 years and I really enjoyed it lol

Super well made and as someone from Jersey, growing up abt 45 mins from where Action Park was, it was a fun watch. I never got to go to the original park, it closed abt 5 years before I was born. I have been to Mountain Creek, it’s modern equivalent and it’s a fun place. I do kinda wish I could’ve gone to the original park though, just to see how bonkers it actually was. And how big the Cannonball Loop slide actually was in person aha
