9, 17, and 19 for Blackout? (We love Decepticon trines!!!)

9.How big is their role in the story? Do they make a frequent appearance or are they a character with little "screentime" but big influence? Or are they just a favourite background guy? Depends on the part of the story at the beginning, they lowkey are viewer insert for when the trine first meets up and gets to know each other. However, as time goes on they do kinda shift to more of a supporting role. I do like playing in their headspace a lot tho 17. Are there any motifs or symbols associated with the character? How are they represented, in their design, personality or in some other way? repeating/interlocking circles. Their in their design and also i just personally associate them with them and how they view their various relationship throughout their life.

19. What is your general favourite thing about the character? What is your least favourite? My guy is the most #normal one of the trine and is just vibing most of the time he's a steady rock and a good gauge for most situations/to use as a baseline. My guy is the most #Normal one of the trine and sometimes that cause conflict because he can't get why sunspot or retrograde sometimes do what they do.

[Hello, stardust~! How can I help you on this wonderful new loop?]

Welcome, everyone! This is the blog for the upcoming project, "Darkroom: an ISAT Fanzine". We are excited to finally announce our beginnings, and hope you will stick around to see what it is we have to offer!

Firstly, let us introduce ourselves. The mod team for this fanzine comprises of myself (@actingwithportals), as well as @voidedtea, @publiccmenace, @astrangeavenue, @sundimus, and @plasticteabag. Between the six of us, we have experience as leads, co-leads, moderators, and contributors on four individual fanzine projects, and are all excited to begin work on something new!

Now, let's get to the fun part, shall we?

[Darkroom: Negative Space, Long Exposure, Afterimage.]

The theming for this fanzine centers around the idea of distortions, how they obscure what we see and perceive, and how they can bring to light an entirely new perspective hidden behind the more easily comprehensible. In Stars And Time shows us throughout Siffrin's loops how the order of a carefully curated script can bring about a chaotic mental state, and how the chaotic breaking down of these self-imposed walls can bring about the order of accepting vulnerability.

Change is often destruction, and in the midst of that destruction can be found something beautiful, something to live for. This is the idea we hope to present through this fanzine.

[Fanzine Content.]

The Darkroom Fanzine will be a multi-media culmination of fanworks created by fans, for fans, and available for free download on Itch.io. Creations can vary anywhere from art, to writing, to music, to essays, to crafts, to whatever you can think of that you would like to see included in this project!

The only restrictions we will be enforcing is content that lies outside of the existing rating for the game, meaning no 18+ subject material.

However new you are to your Craft—whether it be writing, art, edits, collages, or anything beyond—your skills are welcomed here. From beginners to professionals, all are encouraged to apply! Once we hit an internally agreed upper limit of participants, we will lock the sign-up form should that limit be reached before the end date of the sign-ups occurs.

To kick this off, we are opening an interest check form to gauge interest for this project. The form will remain open from January 23rd through February 22nd, upon which the following day (February 23rd) the sign-up form will go live.

yeah 😭 I was part of the portal 2 community over on DeviantART when I was around 11-14, and i used to write portal 2 fics in my pass time during middle school computer classes. When I started uploading mine to ao3 I ended up looking around for other fics to read on ffnet/ao3 since I mostly read them on DA, and yours caught my eye and I swear I binged all the chapters that were out by march of 2016 one weekend on my phone and IMMEDIATELY came home to draw up a playlist cover and curate this.

I honestly entirely forgot ive made this playlist for so long because portal rotated out of my major interests, but Redemption definitely had an influence on my own writing and really got me to remember my love for portal 2! I need to catch up from the YEARS im behind still LOL

Who's your favorite cotl character? What first drew you to them, and what currently grips you about them most?

I like Narinder most, the lamb a very close second. I won't lie most of the characters in game are relatively simple, hence why folks are able to play around with them so much. But the bit of meat on Narinder is fascinating to me, along with what folks do with him. (I like the lamb A LOT as well, but also they feel more like an oc to me (both my own version and other's being their own thing) and a lot of my own personal headcanons along with other folks interpretations are why I like them, so that's what raises Narinder to the top. Again, like I said I think the base premise of Narinder and his story are just kinda interesting. Love me some self-fulfilling prophecies, family betrayals, revenge, lose of self identity/role and rebuilding. I really like playing around with it myself and seeing what other folks can do with him. He's the character with the most complex relationships with nearly everyone else in game, so you can do a lot with him in my option. On a more silly note; this cat has so much trauma and is also an asshole about it and I personally love that in a character So much. Yes bestie don't process your emotions, dig that hole deeper, revenge will definitely fix everything. That's currently what grips me about him, i like characters I can take and shake violently while playing around with themes and emotion (Narinder cotl, Loop isat, Whirl transformers, etc). I have a type of character I am drawn to, not sure what it says about me, but I'm sure someone could come up with something lol

Bumblebee + friendship

This man could probably make friends with Hell itself let's be real Friendship comes so easily to him due to many multiple factors like his magnetic personality, the way he chooses to try and see the good in everyone, his Taurus rising zodiac (/j), but maybe the biggest factor is that he's just fucking Round. he's so rotund. It's hard to resist being friends with someone shaped like an orb. Definitely one of those people who has like 1 or 2 actual close best friends but has 300+ distant friends/friendly acquaintances
