I really love to imagine that after Siffrin's party discovers that Loop is also Siffrin, the original one from previous loop cycle, Siff's party accepted having second Siffrin in their family and then Loop started to sob from utter happiness. Then everyone gathered around Loop and gave them a group hug, which made Loop regain their human body back as their wish finally gets fulfilled as they're together with them again 💖

Also started playing SASASAP recently and found out that Siffrin also knows origami :0c

Roisia has been balancing her moral compass (she must do right by the dead) with her pragmatism (she is penniless and far from home and what do the dead need the money for anyway) since she popped out of that mindflayer pod.

all the kudos in the world to the actors being able to pull this off but i just want to take a second to say that casting departments don't get nearly enough credit for what they do

these two are a prime example. they got about 5 minutes of screentime together in 4 episodes. yet regardless of if you know their story or not, you're actively rooting for them. and the show WANTS you to root for them. they cast the absolute perfect two people to make that happen, and because of that, their story will be more impactful to the viewers watching it play out

You know I've been drawing Loop as their Siffrin form so much that it's got me thinking. I've read and seen so many fics and artworks of Loop eventually getting back to looking like their old self, but I don't think I've seen any so far of Loop already being a mirror copy of Siffrin. So uh, yoink?

ISAT AU where the game plays out the same way (plot-wise at least) but Loop looks like Siffrin the whole time and while Siffrin is extremely perplexed that there's another him, he's still gotta accept their help because how else are they supposed to escape the loops? Good ol' Loop is here to help, helpful friendly Loop!

Siffrin is going through it still but Differently.

Thinking about the way noir and Hobie were most likely treated because of how they look and being severely underestimated because of it.

Hobie looks and acts like a punk. He is just unserious enough to not be taken seriously. The dude is smart enough to recreate a dimension jumping watch from scraps, that people WATCH him steal and go “ugh sorry about that, he’s always like that”. And they treat him like an instigative child. Meanwhile this man is staging an interdimensional coup and is essentially a rebel freedom fighter in his own world. He is incredibly strategic and a genius while also being kind and sticking to his guns. And as a reminder, without knowing Miles or how his powers worked for even two minutes he was able to accurately help him improve his abilities! Man is observant and a quick thinker! But he’s quiet about it!

Noir dresses and sounds like an ‘oldtimer’ bc he’s from the 1930s. People probably went “ah yes grandpa” with the assumption of a mild mannered, old, and jaded private eye. Probably thought of as behind the times and not as intelligent because of lack of experience with technology. But overall first impression was of a sensible hardworking guy, and at worst melodramatic. In reality, dude is more than mildly neurotic, has severe anger issues, and prone to getting into fights. A raised socialist activist, who has very little to lose, and has canonically burned down the Statue of Liberty, shockingly he is a bit of a wildcard. And more than likely got kicked off/quit the ‘elite strike force’ for those reasons. But he’s also resourceful, smart, and quick to adapt.

Both of these characters are going to be a force to be reckoned with when they get together. Very much house on fire that burns down the entire neighborhood type relationship. I’m very excited.

posting this slightly early but. isnt it really awesome & not like, agonizing how isabeau starts in front of the favor tree. in other words i was thinking really hard about isaloop the other day
