a. (HEAD)CANONS

1. they tease eachother constantly. but its intellectual sounding as FUCK. instead of going "youre short" they go "you appear to be vertically challenged, i love how it matches your mental state" 2. they do little study sessions together n they eat tea and biscuits n fake british accents 3. they have a pet snake together. his name is jerryl. fune has him on weekends. you will not recieve any other details. 4. fune spends most of her time staring at her drawing tablet n natsuki just spits out ideas at her which she WILL make into a poem later 5. fune has a litrle crush on natsuki (canon) but natsuki is oblivious n ir would be rlly funny in like acomedy show its like imagine phineas and feeb and that 1 girlypop 6. they are basically troy and abed(intellect edition)

b. STORYLINE

our story begins in a library.fune is reading n shit n natsuki comes up 2 her n is like "what book r u readinf" n they nerd out n instantly click and then they text and.hang out again n beckme best friends but.natsuki kept being distant n then they eventually moved in 2gether n every other nighr natsuki has someone new in the house n she has a weapon collection n her room is like not whag ud.expect it 2 be like at all considering how timid n shit both her n natsuki r yk?? they have a talk.ab it n irs resolved(hint hint nudge nudge) n anywayz fune keeps finding weird things n hearinf weird things like she finds a crumpled photo of tbem in the trash & sees a glint of like an eye in the closet door but she ignores it n it escalates n fune kicks her out but ir makes ir worse adn nqtsukis begging her to be let back in bur she doesnt and then.theg try to ralk it out in a public space and instead of talking ab shit natsuki talks ab books n her most recent poems n all tbe stuff she loves ab funes mkst recenr art n then funes walkikg to the bus n she thought natsuki got in her car n left already but she DIDNT and she's following her and natsuki taps fune on the shoulder n pulls out a gun but her hands all shaky ad shes crying rlly hard n instead of shootign her she shoots herself n theres a note that reads...."and i hold the gun in my handsand i pull the trigger but where does it point?i don't remember.i love you - natsuki"n funes confused and sad and grieving n then she finds out that natsuki has a bounty on her head bc when she was younger she did a bunch of fucked yp shit in a different country n she fled n didnt want fune 2 find out and couldnt figure out a better way to stop it bc she was worried fune would turn her in but she physicallt couldtn do it so instead yk........she.....yk... n fune is filled with all this regret & shit n js stops everything she xant draw anything other than vent art n cant get out of bed basically can only feed jerryl yk?? BUT then she does a sbit ton of research n stops the bad guys !!!!!! yay !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (aka i couldnt think of a better way to end it.sorry😓)

BAD ENDINF......natsukis finger is on the trigger, and she pulls. she shoots. it echoes. and she runs. she runs and runs far far away. she runs until her legs give out and shes in the middle of nowhere and shes dropped the gun a while back and shes scared and sad and shit because she wasnt supposed to do that n she sits there and cries until dawn n eventually she recollects herself n just flees again n eventually she dies in like some tiny country with like 50 different names following her

This yea brought us a slew of fun and unique comedies. The Lobster wins the top prize because not only was it humorous, it was innovative and thought-provoking. The rest of these nominees are far from traditional. From period piece films like 20th Century Women, Florence Foster Jenkins, and Sing Street, mockumentary Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, coming of age films The Edge of Seventeen and Everybody Wants Some!!,  a comedy about comedy Don’t Think Twice, superhero movie Deadpool, to Swiss Army Man, a film that transcends genres. 

Best Actor

Winner: Ryan Reynolds - Deadpool

Nominees:

Paul Dano - Swiss Army Man Colin Ferrell - The Lobster Seth Rogen - Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising Andy Samberg - Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping

Deadpool wouldn’t be Deadpool without Ryan Reynolds. Not only is he hysterical, he gives a kick-ass performance. Colin Ferrell comes at a close second for his lead performance as an introvert who is running out of time to find his mate in The Lobster. Paul Dano continues to prove that he’s one of the next generation’s strongest actors in Swiss Army Man. And Seth Rogen and Andy Samberg earn lots of belly laughs in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and Popstar respectively.

Sally Field arguably gave one of the most overlooked performances of the year in Hello, My Name is Doris. She stars as a sixty-something neurotic woman who pursues her affection for a coworker half her age. She’ll make you laugh and make you cry. Annette Benning gives her best performance in a past decade as as a aging single mom in 20th Century Women. Chloë Grace Moretz shows off her comedic talents as a feisty college student who starts her own sorority in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. Hailee Steinfeld gives a grounded performance as a teen facing an early-life crisis in the high-school dramedy The Edge of Seventeen. And Meryl Streep is brilliant as always in Florence Foster Jenkins. 

Best Supporting Actor

Winner: Daniel Radcliffe - Swiss Army Man

Nominees:

Zac Efron - Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising Simon Helberg - Florence Foster Jenkins Keegan-Michael Key - Why Him? J.K. Simmons - The Meddler

Daniel Radcliffe manages to give a lively performance as he played a dead man who washes up shore in Swiss Army Man. His now-infamous fart scenes alone earn him this honor. Zac Efron reprises his role as a total frat guy who’s now in post-frat life in Neighbors 2. Simon Helberg shines as a humorous pianist who holds his own alongside Meryl Streep in Florence Foster Jenkins. Keegan-Michael Key is a scene-stealer as Gustav, a wacky personal assistant in Why Him?. And J.K. Simmons goes lovable as Susan Sarandon’s motorcycle-riding love interest in The Meddler. 

Best Supporting Actress

Rose Byrne - Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising Tyne Daly - Hello, My Name is Doris   Greta Gerwig - 20th Century Women Kyra Sedgwick - The Edge of Seventeen 

Olivia Colman is brilliantly hilarious as the dead-serious hotel director in The Lobster. Rose Byrne reprises her role as a mother who tries to dismantle the sorority next door in Neighbors 2. Tyne Daly gives a strong performance as Doris’s best friend in Hello, My Name is Doris. Greta Gerwig gives a memorable performance as the free-spirit Abbie in 20th Century Women. And Kyra Sedgwick plays a hilariously controlling mother in The Edge of Seventeen. 

Best Director

Mike Birbiglia - Don’t Think Twice Kelly Fremon Craig - The Edge of Seventeen  Dan Kwan & Daniel Scheinert - Swiss Army Man Richard Linklater - Everybody Wants Some!!!

So many breakthrough directors this year, but Yorgos Lanthimos is a step above the rest for his work on The Lobster. He seized the humor in an artistically dreary aesthetic and helped give some of the the year’s best comedic performances from his fantastic cast. Mike Birbiglia captured the realism of what its like to be in an improv comedy troupe in Don’t Think Twice so well, it felt like a documentary. The Edge of Seventeen director Kelly Fremon Craig put together an emotional teenage comedy that would have made John Hughes proud. Dan Kwan & Daniel Scheinert have directed the beautifully strange Swiss Army Man that masterfully changes tone from one scene to the next. And Richard Linklater managed to create another comedic time capsule in the 1980-set Everybody Wants Some!!. 

Best Screenplay

Nominees:

Kelly Fremon Craig - The Edge of Seventeen Dan Kwan & Daniel Scheinert - Swiss Army Man Richard Linklater - Everybody Wants Some!! Nicholas Martin - Florence Foster Jenkins

Lanthimos and Filippou wrote a brilliant screenplay. In The Lobster, they combined a dark, original dystopic future with fantastic deadpan humor. Kelly Fremon Craig wrote one of the sharpest, coming of age movies in recent memory with The Edge of Seventeen. With something as original as Swiss Army Man, The Daniels had to be nominated. Linklater is one of the greatest screenwriters of our time and Everybody Wants Some!! is one his greatest works. And Nicholas Martin wrote a fun, music-filled screenplay for Florence Foster Jenkins.

Makoto went on with his shift. When it was over he went and got Daichi and put him in the stroller. He was also given a sling to help him with carrying the baby on the train. He thanked them and got Daichi bundled up in the stroller and made his way home.

It was surprisingly veey easy and everyone was very acomediative of him and the baby. He stopped by the grocery store near their home and got Daichi a few things since he was still with them. When he got home he sent Sousuke a text.

"Me and Daichi made it home perfectly safe. The daycare is letting me borrow a stroller and sling/carrier to hold the baby in. I did stop by the grocery store before we got home." He texted.

Makoto had heard a knock on the door. He thought maybe it was one of his friends. His eyes widened when he saw the basket and heard a light cooing noise coming from the basket. He carefully leaned down looking at the note that told him that they could no longer care for the baby. Makoto gently picked up the baby boy with golden eyes and black hair holding him close and adjusting the blanket around the baby making sure he was warm as he took the baby and the basket inside. “You poor little thing.” He said with a sad expression. He felt terrible that this baby was abandoned. He wasn’t sure how he was going to explain this to his boyfriend but he couldn’t abandon. the child. He needed a home and people to love him and Makoto wanted to be that for the baby.
