So I’m doing a “soulmates in every universe” series this year that is very similar to your firstprince first kisses series ~ one shots for fun! I take a soulmate trope and turn that thing on its HEAD.

This one is Ace!Alex in a universe where soulmates “fall in love at first sight”/ and immediately seal their bond via sex, except that’s kind of a sucky system for many isn’t it? I shared a snippet of this one on a long forgotten WIP Wednesday but here it is below (on mobile sorry for the formatting):

The system isn’t built for people who realize things slowly, who move towards love and forever in a plodding meandering way like a nice walk down a fall path. The system isn’t built for people who aren’t willing to immediately seal their fate via the sweet fuck of life or whatever else you want to call the coupulating of not so couples who start getting it on like rabbits hit with sex powder.

The sweet fuck of life. And wasn’t that the drag. Alex just wasn’t ever going to get to have a soulmate because he didn’t want to shove his parts into another person, or even really ever do anything that had to do with the whole sex side of the soulmates stuff.

Truly fuck the system and the normative horse the backwards cowboy position rode in on.

Alex doesn’t need sex and apparently the universe decided for him that he doesn’t get a soulmate.

I really love this one and I’m looking forward to writing many more universes with Ace Alex!!!

avila is also the typical pretty girl and she likes to use those looks to her advantage. she will make you give her your hw answers…… DONT SLIP YOUR GUARD!!!!!!!!

😭😭 also YEAHA ace definitely did their hair growing up and are the reason why their hairstyles are very. STYLED!!! as compared to normie girl ashi 😔

avila I think follows ashi mmmoooore and alex more ace? espec in the behavioral field!!! because avila always has a slight smile on her face like ashi and alex has a really wide range of emotions like acey 🫶
