Eddie slips through the front door tiredly after a long shift to a silent house - not unusual, but not exactly normal. As he hangs up his hat he gazes around confusedly. Frank usually meets him at the door with a kiss and tea, seeing all is well. So, he concludes, all must not be well.

With a nervous smile, he walks through to the kitchen, calling to his husband. "Frank? Hello?" He finds everything downstairs empty. Upstairs his calls still don't get anything, so he enters their bedroom. His panic melts as he sees Frank there on their bed, laying on his face on the pillows.

"Hey, hon. All well?"

Frank silently waves an arm at him, and Eddie suppresses a chuckle. He goes and sits beside him, which gets Frank to roll over stiffly onto his back, frowning so much it makes Eddie smile in amusement.

"You okay, sweet?"

"I'm fine." Frank speaks as stiffly as he lays, glaring at the ceiling. Eddie hums, and leans over him, setting a hand on each side of his head.

"One," he prompts.

"Two," Frank sighs.

"Three."

"Four."

"Five!" Eddie takes a deep breath, and Frank copies him, letting them out in unison. "Is it a 'too loud' day or a 'too quiet' day?"

"Too quiet," Frank groans, setting his own hands over Eddie's. "I keep trying to do things but none of them are enough 'thing', it's all so vapid!"

"Careful, sweet, you'll get your head goin'."

"I'm fine, Eddie. With you here I can find something or other to do."

Eddie's eyes flit around their room with a hum, until his eyes fall to a set of wooden toys on the desk, seemingly tinkered with earlier today. He smiles, and sets his forehead on Frank's own.

"Need a play day, Frank?"

Frank sighs, deflating. "That's definitely something to do, at least."

20 minutes later, the remaining distress in Frank is gone. Eddie and he are making magazine collages on the floor, Frank wearing much less professional clothing in the form of shorts with butterflies along them, and one of Eddie's sleep shirts. The wood toys surround them along with a few plush toys. Eddie peeks at Frank's paper - having told him to make a mood board of how he feels - and smiles to find a combination of specific species of beetles with a word cut from paragraphs of text glued next to each of them.

"What does all that mean, sweet?"

"Beetle and a word that relates to me... and to the beetle."

Eddie points. "The blue one is.... 'disdainful'?"

"Yes," Frank nods, his face scrunching up. "Does Gibbifer californicus not look disdainful?"

"Ain't that one called 'the pleasing beetle'?" Eddie smirks.

"I'm surprised you remember.... Being pleasing all the time is disdainful-"

Eddie cuts him off by rubbing his hair and laughing. "I think you're too small for big fancy words like that."

Frank's face pinches, considering it. "I'm not that small yet..." He meets Eddie's eyes, loving the happiness and peace he sees there. "Maybe being pleasant all the time isn't that disdainful."

"Uh huh," Eddie teases. "Well, the fella needs a new word now! I'll go get y' juice if you can work real hard on that for me?"

"Okay," Frank focuses hard on the pages as Eddie slips out. He stares so hard at the words, most of them stop making sense. He sets his mouth into his palms, propped on his elbows. This 'pleasing beetle' is difficult, wordless, and annoying.

He rubs his eyes hard. He feels so big, with all the worries and troubles, yet so small at the same time. He feels like a crowd of scribbles is filling his brain.

A large, gentle hand pulls him out of his worries, like a bright light clearing away fog. Eddie is smiling at him- he's always smiling at him. And sometimes, like now, he smiles back.

"Made some orange juice!" Eddie holds out a sippy cup with pill bugs and snails patterned on it. Neither of them remember what catalogue they ordered it from, but they're glad they did. It's Frank's favorite cup, actually probably his favorite thing he owns in general. He accepts it happily.

Eddie moves right beside him, sitting down and pulling Frank into his lap. Frank lets himself be held, tiredly resting his head on Eddie's chest. Eddie starts humming the way he often does, discordant and distant. He rocks the two of them softly, just the way Frank likes. If he didn't feel small before, he definitely does now.

He pats Eddie's cheek. "Cartoons, please Ed?"

"My, when did I go back to 'Ed' status, love?" Eddie touches his chest in mock disbelief. Frank pats his face repeatedly and Eddie guffaws under the onslaught. "Okay, okay, I'll get cartoons goin'!"

The two end up on the couch while the T.V. plays, Frank laying against Eddie's chest half asleep. Eddie rubs his back rhythmically, watching his face. Frank's eyes are closed, and for once there's no tenseness in his shoulders or way of holding himself. He just looks at peace, unbothered. Eddie hardly ever gets to see him unbothered, and is about the only one who gets to at all.

"Eddie? Why are you staring?"

"Because I love you∼" he says in the sappiest voice he can muster. Frank snorts out a laugh, that particularly happy one he does that's so ugly it's handsome. "It's true, I do!" He kisses Frank's forehead four times in a row before releasing him. Frank hides his face in his husband's shirt, stifling his embarrassed laughter.

"I love you too, of course I do." Frank yawns and relaxes again, drifting sleepily. Frank takes Eddie's left hand, their rings clicking against each other.

"Wanna play some more, hon? If things are still too quiet, 'n all."

"I think... I think I'm fine right here. I like this show."

"Uh huh, of course, the show," Eddie teases, but he sets his hand back on Frank's back and closes his eyes. They both settle again, clinging to each other sweetly. "I love you, my little baby."

"Love you, Eddie."

Cartoons play on through the hours, even when the pair are sound asleep. Even asleep, their hands stay latched loosely. I will be here for you forever, it seems to whisper where their skin touches.

Advent Calendar Day 11! (prompts by @raven-cincaide-words) Today’s prompts: Build a Snowman | Innocent Love | Next Step Fandom: Ted Lasso - Pairing: Tred 1.4k[Ao3]

It felt a little silly being out in the snow –  wellies on, winter coat on, mittens, hat, and all  – and just… playing. Without even a child as an excuse.

That is, if you didn’t count Ted Lasso as a child. 

“Trent,” Ted said, slightly out of breath. “Trent, help me push the big one!”

Because Ted Lasso had dragged Trent out of his house so Trent could help him build a snowman.

Trent rolled his eyes but freed his hands from his sleeves, ready to help Ted roll the base of their creation.

He had signed up for this. When Ted had come back to Richmond and Trent hadn’t been able to stop himself from confessing his feelings, he’d been asking for this. When Ted had not only miraculously accepted Trent’s feelings but returned them, he’d thanked God for this. When Trent had kissed him stupid and and Ted had answered every question Trent asked him with an excited and uncomplicated ‘yes’, Trent had thought that this might be all he’d ever wanted.

And it was. Even with Trent’s feet like blocks of ice and snow backed into the gaps of his coat, he didn’t regret for a second signing up for this.

“It’s a little lumpy,” Ted said, frowning under his moustache. “But I don’t want to try and smooth it out because that would make it smaller.”

“Lumpy is fine,” Trent said, clapping some of the snow off his mittens. “People’s bodies are lumpy sometimes, that’s normal.”

Ted looked over at him, grin bright. “Too right, All Might.” he caught Trent by the waist and pulled him in to kiss him on the nose. “It’s perfect.”

Trent smiled warmly at him before Ted scampered away. “Now we need to roll a torso!”

Trent rolled his eyes but started gathering the snow at his feet for a decently sized head.

The children were away: spending time with Roy, Jamie, and Phoebe. Phoebe had wanted to go ice skating and had been horrified to learn that Henry and Clara had never been. So Phoebe had volunteered Roy to take them all and Jamie had been brought along to make Roy less miserable and Ted and Trent were left at home in the snow and Ted had thought it would be so fun to build a snowman for their kids to see when they got home.

Or, er, got back. To Ted’s. Trent didn’t live there.

Ted needed Trent’s help again to lift the torso onto the base so it wouldn’t fall apart. Trent happily obliged.

“I already have a head,” Trent told him. “So I’ll put this on top while you collect the accouterments.”

“Acc-scuse me?”

Trent laughed, shaking his head. “The accessories. And face materials.” He crouched to pick up his perfect snow head, waving Ted off. “Go. Shoo.”

Ted pouted but went and shoo’d and by the time Trent had perfectly balanced his snow ball on the first two, Ted was back with a lot of stuff.

“Alright,” Ted said brightly, his arms absolutely overflowing with things. Trent rushed to take some stuff off him. “Didn’t have any carrots for a nose but I found a kazoo from Colin’s bachelor party that’ll work. We’ve got rocks from Miss Shipley’s garden for the eyes and mouth – don’t tell her – and then of course a Richmond hat and scarf!”

“Of course,” Trent agreed, smiling back. “Why don’t you let me do the face and you can stand there and hold my materials like a good work stool?”

Ted nodded seriously, holding his hands out to cup the rocks and kazoo and waited for Trent to construct a face.

Trent leaned in and kissed Ted in reward before he focused in on making their snowman beautiful.

He put the hat and scarf on when he was done and Ted insisted on taking a million pictures of them – both selfies with Ted in them and just pictures of Trent and their snowman.

“He’s beautiful!” Ted crowed. “Give him a big hug!”

Trent did, going so far as to kiss the snowman on his frozen cheek.

“Well, hey now, you might go making a fella jealous doing that,” Ted teased, taking the picture. 

Trent immediately ran over and put his frozen lips against Ted’s face.

“Gah! No! Cold!” Ted shrieked, giggling, and made a big show of pushing Trent away. He wasn’t trying very hard. “Now you’re gonna have me smooching a mug of hot cocoa just to get warm.”

“Ooh, well as long as you’re making it, make me some too,” Trent said, smiling sweetly. 

Ted rolled his eyes and cupped the back of Trent’s head so he could kiss him again, before pulling away and heading into the house.

Trent followed, not about to stay outside in the cold without Ted, and immediately started stripping his outer layers. He put his coat on the peg he usually used, mittens on the table next to his wallet, wellies next to Ted’s on the rack.

Trent tried not to stare too long at their boots nestled together. It felt a little too much like Trent had a place here, in Ted’s home. And if he thought about that too long he’d become sick with longing.

When he got in the kitchen, Ted already had milk on the stover, stirring it gently so it wound’t scald.

“I would be just as happy with pre-made mix with hot water from the kettle,” Trent said, fake casually.

Ted whirled on him, pointing with a grave seriousness. “I won’t have that kind of heresy in my house, Trent Crimm.”

Trent grinned, walking up to Ted and hugging him from behind. He kissed behind his ear in apology. “What would I do without your American elevation of hot beverages?”

“Still be drinking nasty tea, I’ll bet,” Ted grumbled, but he sank a little into Trent’s hold.

Trent felt Ted’s phone vibrate in his pocket and pulled it out for him, holding it up to Ted’s face for recognition before swiping open his messages. 

He hummed. “Kids on their way back. Jamie’s texted.”

He felt Ted stiffen in his hold and he stepped away, giving Ted space to say what was on his mind.

Ted turned, careful to keep stirring the milk, but looked at Trent. “Well I promised I was gonna do this before the kids got back so–” he cleared his throat. “So I guess I should do it then.”

“Okay,” Trent agreed, clasping his hands behind his back and trying not to show how suddenly nervous he was. “What are you doing?”

Ted sighed, moving to take a step toward Trent before remembering the milk. He instead held his hand out for Trent, beckoning him closer. 

Trent took it, stepping back into Ted’s space, hip leaning against the counter next to the stove.

Ted’s thumb rubbed over the back of Trent’s hand and up his wrist. Trent’s wrists were still cold from the snow that was packed in his sleeves and Ted watched as the pinked skin went pale with his ministrations.

Ted took a big breath – in for four, out for eight. Trent waited, his socked foot coming forward to nudge against Ted’s. A little comfort he could give back.

Ted swallowed and looked back up at Trent’s face. “Trent Crimm, will you move in with me?”

Trent blinked, his head jerking in surprise.

“It’s just–” Ted started again. “Henry and I. We love having you here. And I love having you here when Henry’s with Michelle. And we love having Clara here. And things are going pretty, well right? So I’m trying not to panic and think it’s too soon and–”

“It’s not too soon,” Trent interrupted, his free hand coming up to cup Ted’s face. “We’re men in our forties for Christ’s sake, how much longer should we be expected to wait?”

Ted laughed, his breath hitching a bit, and turned his face into Trent’s palm.

“I want that, too.” Trent told him. “All of it. With you.”

Ted smiled, kissing Trent’s palm before Trent pulled him in to kiss him for real.

They only had a good minute of making out before Ted pulled away, panicked. “The milk! The milk!”

Trent laughed, refusing to let go of Ted’s free hand and draping over his back to watch.

So when the others got back, Ted got to serve them hot cocoa and Trent got to tell his daughter they were moving in.

Roy called them names but he still drank the cocoa.

So, first thing first, now I'm in the middle of watching "Fushigi Yuugi", thanks to you. Now, I'm not really interested in the romance but I really love the story and worldbuilding. It's isekai but so good....Thanks for your rec, Neon....🌻🤩

I always love sorting characters to Hogwarts Houses, and because you said you don't mind, can I ask for : Miaka/Tamahome (classic trope done great), Narumi/Nifuji (cute couple), and Vash/Wolfwood (I'm depress after reading their story), Reki/Langa (just read BL that remind me of them)?

Last question (sorry for this long ask, feel free if you don't want to answer all), because you love Hermione, do you ship Hermione/Ron or Hermione/Draco or other? Why?

For it to be an older series, I'm glad to hear the worldbuilding holds up! I always loved Tamahome, Chichiri and Nuriko because they were so funny to me when I was younger. I feel like I should revisit the series with you!

Of COURSE I'm gonna address your whole ask in one go. Just remember, fuck TERFs!

ROMIONE vs DRAMIONE

As a smooth brained child, I didn't really ship Hermione until there was more obvious signaling that she and Ron were end game. The books were coming out when I was literally the age of the characters and kids are easily influenced and don't think critically. Not even going into comphet shipping at that age. I also loved redheads or maybe just the Weasleys? As an adult, Ron kinda sucked as a partner for Hermione. He took Hermione for granted, wasn't really supportive of things that meant a lot to her (SPEW, though clearly she changed his mind based on his later concern for the elves), was generally harsh with his words regarding her until the cruft of their adolescence was really broken away but, in my opinion, Hermione outclassed Ron and Harry in a lot of ways. In this pairing, it feels like Hermione made Ron better but Ron didn't reciprocate that improvement where Hermione was concerned. We can say he made her more approachable but that was him and Harry and just general socialization. It's been awhile since I've read the books so I may be selling my boy Ron short here. But also, as an adult, I see brilliant, amazing women end up with mediocre (but somewhat earnest) men all the time so I guess we were adequately prepared in our childhood.

As an adult, I'm not going to say I ship Dramione but I definitely see the appeal more. Especially where fandom fills in the gap because, contextually, we see them at odds and how Hermione is bold enough to challenge Draco. She (similar to Ron in the above), isn't the only reason the Draco undergoes his necessary character development we see through the story but her audacity, I think, humbles him in a way that's different from Harry. This dynamic is also more aligned with ships I tend to gravitate toward where they're a little antagonistic with a soft underbelly. I'm not saying this question justifies sharing this beautiful animation by @lyrablack1883 but… an excuse is an excuse. 👀

Onto the neon Sorting Hat, I guess!

Bear in mind, I'm largely of the mind that where the other houses are fixed, Gryffindor is open to anyone brave enough to ask/insist so, if you don't agree, that's cool, too. I give the primary i think they'd be in otherwise.

Miaka Yuki (Fushigi Yuugi) - Gryffindor with Hufflepuff underpinnings. It's important to note that the tenderness that Miaka exhibits is not without an edge. She may not be strong but she isn't powerless. She is kind and accepting of others and fair with a sense of purpose when chosen to be a priestess and rises to the occasion. She's still stubborn and, in fact, the flaws that more prominently make her a Gryffindor is what endears her to others (and sets her at odds with Tamahome because she's a brat, let's be serious). Still, with the whole world on its head, Miaka doesn't shy away from her duty and grows a lot along the way.

Tamahome (Fushigi Yuugi) - okay this is a bit of a toss up but only because it's been so long since I've seen Fushigi Yuugi that I'm torn between Ravenclaw and Slytherin, for obvious reasons. Tamahome is loyal to a cause and is subsequently very logical about the means to satisfy that end. Character wise, I just can't determine (or recall, rather), whether he could justify any means to that end. I'm leaning toward Ravenclaw with the loyalty to his family and then the Suzaku Warriors but I'm open to your interpretation as someone who may have seen it more recently.

Narumi Momose (Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku) - Ravenclaw. Intuitively, Narumi had a goal in mind and creatively deduced camouflage would be the best means to be successful socially and at work. It's a little dishonest but with earnest intentions. But Narumi is a Ravenclaw in the daffy way the Luna Lovegood is a Ravenclaw. That's not to suggest neither lack intelligence but their focus tends to be elsewhere. Whatever the special interest, they know it all, you know? Good luck trying to be a normie, Narumi.

Hirotaka Nifuji (Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku) - Bear in mind I have one season of Wotakoi under my belt. But the biggest indicator for my determination is that Hirotaka managed to hide his crush on Narumi for the full duration of the season. Cool, and nonchalant but the frenzy when his brother almost blew his cover? Slytherin. Mans had a goal all along and while Narumi seemed to fall in line with that out of convenience, it suited his purposes all along and we only see an aberration in his behavior when that was potentially jeopardized. Harmless as the circumstances were, it's giving Slytherin.

Vash the Stampede (Trigun) - Hufflepuff to a fault with sympathy for the devil. He will do what is right, damn the consequences and the risk of personal injury to himself. He was given a life and seeks to protect the lives of others at all cost. This sunshine boy isn't without shadow, driven to offset his brothers' misdeeds, for sure. But Rem, I think, is a stronger guide in how Vash lives his life. He doesn't do it for the glory, it's simply what must be done. He certainly doesn't go looking for trouble the way a Gryffindor might. It just finds him and he tries to resolve it as amicably as possible with a moral compass always pointing due North.

Nicholas D. Wolfwood (Trigun) - SLYTHERIN. Hat's barely rested upon his head and definitively we know that Nicky D will do whatever's needed to get his desired end. Not saying Vash won't make him question himself but, ultimately, Nicholas will do what Vash can't. His morality rests upon a razor's edge and he's learned that the only way to protect the people he love's are by doing the dirty work necessary. With Vash's influence, he may be tortured about it, though.

Reki Kyan (SK8 the Infinity) - Gryffindor with a strong Hufflepuff alignment (is this why Miya warms up to him?). Not only is he earnestly hardworking and kind, the glue that brings everyone together. But he's also brave, punching well above his weight class to stand up to Adam and protect Miya and, ultimately, to triumph over him because of his own brilliance and ingenuity.

Langa Hasegawa (SK8 the Infinity) - Gryffindor with a spice of Ravenclaw. ✨ Naturally skilled and adept skater (after some serious hard work as a boarder), I think Langa wouldn't have wound up pursuing skating at all had he not gotten swept up into it through the series of events as outlined. But, in the new environment, he's able to leverage his previous expertise critically and playfully and ascend to awe inspiring heights. Doesn't mean he's not still a bit of a himbo. Affectionately, Reki and Langa at their core are idiot 🤝 idiot and we love them for it.

hi!! don’t worry about being a bother, I love getting asks (I hardly get them anyways) I love doing headcanons but i don’t really post a lot of them (not so confident in my writing tbh) BUT, that being said I love both of this ideas and if you don’t mind, I’d like to do both of them!

ok, so motley at a doctors visit would probably go something like this:

with mick, you’d actually have to drag him there. he HATES going to the doctors and would try to excuse any sort of symptoms he’d have. he could be suffering the worlds deadliest cold or something and he’d be like “nah im fine, i’ll just take some cough syrup or something!” like it would get to the point where you’d have to trick him into going that’s how stubborn he is (“oh hey wanna come to the store with me don’t say no pls.”). i wouldn’t say he’d have an irrational fear of doctors but more so a irrational distrust of them.

vince would go to the doctors at the drop of a hat. it could be raining in oklahoma and he’d claim it’s affecting him and that he desperately needs to get checked out. he’s so dramatic he could bump his elbow on a doorframe and insist it’s broken and that he needs to be taken to the emergency room asap. would exaggerate his symptoms to really drive the point home. doctors would make signs warning other doctors about him. he’d try to gaslight the doctors as if they don’t have a degree.

nikki would also be dramatic but in a way where almost everything is a sign he’s dying. has webmd bookmarked, constantly googling “why does my stomach hurt?” (or, if you want to be time period accurate: always in the library trying to look through medical dictionaries) doctors constantly have to reassure him nothings wrong with him. (he’d come in thinking he had lung cancer and come back out with an asthma diagnosis and an inhaler)

now surprisingly, tommy isn’t as neurotic as his bandmates are when it comes to a doctors visit. he usually just goes if has concerns or for a check up. I don’t think he takes anything seriously. He’s the type to joke around even during checkups. you know he’s asking the doctor if they can record his heartbeat so he can use it in a song.

Now if the crue had to take you to the doctors…it’d probably go something like this:

while mick is very stubborn about his own health, the one thing he doesn’t play about is you. if you had so much as said you were feeling a bit lightheaded, he’d have 911 on speed dial. likes to be stubborn about his health but HATES when you are. like he is dragging you to the car and driving you to a doctor himself. loves to act nonchalant but when it comes to you he drops everything. (also I can see him coming with you and holding your hand during the appointment…even after you told him you were fine going in alone).

vince would fight a doctor for you. if they try to beat around the bush or tell you you’re fine when you’re not vince would demand more testing or whatever it is to figure out what’s wrong with you. can be seen as overbearing, but what can I say, he is dramatic. he’d leave the office complaining about how much he hates doctors and that this is “an injustice!” while it can be seen as annoying, it just shows how much he cares about you.

nikki would probably make things worse. you know why you made the appointment and what you think is wrong, but here comes mr.dictionary coming up with at least fifty other diagnoses and problems you don’t even have. I think the doctor would have to throw him out the room at some point. I think it would also get to the point where you stop letting him come with you because he starts to make you panic as well…he’d be a mess, let’s just say that.

tommy would also panic a bit. unless it’s a routine checkup, he’d worry a bit. (I can see him nearly speeding to get you there in time too now that I think about it) you can’t let him in the room anymore after he nearly squeezed your hand off because he heard the word “flu.” instead he just takes to pacing around the waiting room hoping you’re alright. would make the people in the waiting room annoyed by his incessant pacing. once he’s heard good news he calms down, but it makes you want to leave him at home or in the car the next time you go.

i think i finally understood why reymas grabbed me by the throat so much and refuses to let go.

not only because i have soft spot for gay ships (duh) and this specific dynamic (double duh since i'm the one who spins it in the ship) but also because of the narrative possibilities it carries in the world it resides in

granted, those can be applied to i think basically any ship in DD, but we're granted those two redemption husbands at the start, we get the achievement for pushing with them till the very end, and hey, it's a reymas post, who else was i supposed to use as an example?

in games and narratives, death is mostly a punishment for failing too many times - you fail to understand the challenge or the mechanic, and then you're set back because of it to re-think your approach and try again. alternatively, it's a "fair thing" to receive for the things the character has done in the narrative, depending on the level of the author's cynicism (fates worse than death notwithstanding).

what i mean by this, applied to DD narrative, is that it feels *fair* to bitchslap the Ancestor into the oblivion he crawled out off. it feels *fair* to give some conclusion to the character arc of the two heroes you start with. it feels *fair* for wanting them to receive some nice retirement after what they've been through, well, if you engaged with the narrative at any point of it and paid half an emotion to all the yells and sobs and wailing your heroes do as they crumble.

hell i'd argue it even feels *fair* when the weak link or some unlucky hero who got targeted during a run and started all of what can be liberally called ACC, "a cock cascade" if you will, dies squirming and crying and calling for their parental unit of preferred gender. for all my surprisingly bleeding heart (i mean i've clocked 1860+ hours in rimworld, and raider skin hats are my go-to to build the initial wealth of the colony) and being squeamish for killing heroes who did me no wrong, i can be maniacally pleased and audibly glee as i see the giant "deathblow" splashing on my screen since i'm not mourning the unfortunate sod - i'm already calculating whether i can push through the remainder of the expedition like that and counting my losses that this lame "adventurer" had caused and maybe grieve the money i've wasted on them and their trinkets more than the character themselves.

but what if this is the opposite? what if you're emotionally invested in those sobbing sprites and bite your knuckles each time a mob lands a crit on them?

i think you know where i'm going.

so reymas, right? a heroic knight turned out to be not quite heroic, and a lowly angry rat who turned out to be not so ratty. a tale of uneasy acceptance. of seeing human in a class (both in the in-game sense and in a societal sense) that most likely wronged you before on so many levels and maybe even caused your personal downfall one way or another. of wanting to be better, to do better in the face of the world that all but *needs* you to fail, as last dungeon spoilers would imply, if we take Dickcestor's words for honest ones and without a Salar de Uyuni's amount of salt. of giving a chance to others where you won't even give it to yourself.

reymas, whether we see it as romantic or platonic, implies finding humanity in yourself and in your companions in the circumstances where both of those can be beneficial and detrimental in equal measure and you have better odds in the casino than guessing which one you're betting on in every situation.

and you can fuck up not because you didn't believe hard enough in your friends and the literal power of friendship (or boner, depending on the relationship in question) hardening one's death defiance that DD2 canonically implies exist in this universe - you might just be unlucky and get hit as help was on its way. or maybe you did believe in your friends and those friends turned out to be mercurial fucks and they backstabbed you. or maybe they even weren't fuckers who wanted to stab you but they stabbed you regardless because of unbearable things they were put through and the targeting system in their heads going haywire in a botched attempt of self-preservation. the game provides such experience in spades.

and it's *unfair* because you want those characters to succeed. it's *unfair* because you are invested in them being okay and finally pushing for redemption after all the fucked up things they did (save for Leper; Baldwin is his own spherical horse in a vacuum and should be tackled some other time). it's *unfair* in how sometimes you have little to no saying in how the cocks cascade and what you can salvage after they're done falling on you.

it's *unfair* in how real it feels. because in reality while we'd like to think that "we get what we deserve", it's much more complicated than a string of those words. and because of how *unfair* it can be, it always carries that feeling of tension. you can never be too sure that they'll get their happy ever after, even if they are the main pairing of the plot - hell, i, myself, am a perpetrator to that feeling with my writing. and methinks, it adds to the experience. it adds to the gravity of their connection. because in most stories that i've read about them they, too, are well aware of how unfair the death thing is in DD universe. and sometimes it drives the whole thing and sometimes it's the spice on top of it, but it's there. you can love your spouse to bits and be the purest human alive - you'll still die, in the end; or if you're simply unlucky and the fate rolls nat1 on you. you still have limited time to be with the people you care about. sometimes it's decades, sometimes it's minutes but it's there, this hard limit. DD just pushes this to the forefront and cranks up to 11 with constant expeditions, eldritch horrors, and different levels of Heir(ess)' dickery and disregard for their mercs.

the core of reymas, to me, is "we're different, and we're flawed, and we have limited time together, but we have this time, and we want to spend it together despite the unfairness around us"

and to me, it makes it much more human.

it was probably a good ten minutes of you there with all the cats n here comes minho bursting in, panting bc poor baby ran hella fast inside

he gets the bags without even talking, looking at his lil baby on the sofa kinda scrunched up in tears n in pain he feels so fuckin bad for leaving u today

he lets u hold onto him n he just rambling on about how sorry he is and about how everything is gonna be okay

upon arrival to the hospital, u and minho argued literally the WHOLE way

it was a good fuckin distraction from the fact that u were early + u were bleeding n minho decided to keep up the bickering because u seemed occupied and less afraid

then the dreaded, “c-section”, was what you needed

they assured u everything would be okay but this was a precaution they needed to do and that the baby was mostly likely okay with being delivered

minho crying 🥺 he was rly scared at the thought of anything else going wrong

they have the sheet up and hes so nervous while holding ur hand, goin up on his tippy toes trying to watch :(

there wasnt any cries 🥺 ur hearts dropped n u two just looked at each other waiting for the cries

suddenly u two heard cooing and then loud cries, the doctor rubbing their back to get the blood flowing and to help warm them up

u both had the biggest smiles and tears coming down ur faces while she slowly calmed down and u both carefully touched her

minho later watched you from the chair next to the bed, trying to feed her like the nurse taught u to do

he looked at u, silently asking you if he could help, you nodding and his hands slowly and carefully helped guide her to latch on

she looked so comfortable n he was just amazed at you he couldn’t believe you created something so perfect, this tiny little girl was your person

Endeavour Theory: Has Morse Already Crossed Paths With Nemesis Hugo de Vries?

Warning: contains spoilers for Endeavour Series 7 and Inspector Morse episode ‘Masonic Mysteries’.

There’s a beauty to mystery that could hardly be lost on fans of Endeavour, a series with playfulness in its bones, as evidenced by its regular tips of the hat to pop culture and Morse creator Colin Dexter. The show’s viewers understand that ambiguities deliberately positioned as such should be allowed to stand, unaccosted by any fun-sucking need for certainty. We’re not here to unweave rainbows or clip angel wings.  

That said, Endeavour does love a game, and its fans love to play along. So while appreciating that some things are destined to rightly remain in the hazy hinterland of maybe, let’s play. The name of this game? Find Hugo de Vries!

Played by Ian McDiarmid in Inspector Morse Series 4 episode ‘Masonic Mysteries’ (1990), Hugo de Vries is a fan-favourite villain in the world of Morse. Erudite and cultured with a love of classical music, he has much in common with the detective, as is fitting for any two nemeses. A great difference of course, is that de Vries is a diabolical killer utterly without conscience.

In de Vries’ one and only Inspector Morse appearance, Morse finds himself framed for the murder of a woman from his choir, which is staging a production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute. After the murder, Morse finds almost £100,000 transferred to his bank account from the charity administrated by the victim. Morse’s personal file on the police computer is hacked to insert a fictional past event in which he supposedly attacked a woman, and his guvnor – McNutt at the time – covered it up. His home is set on fire, he’s pulled over and breathalysed after an anonymous complaint is made about his erratic driving, his Jag is vandalised with masonic symbols and McNutt’s dead body is discovered in his bathroom. All of it, realises an increasingly unhinged Morse, is the work of de Vries, who’s borne a grudge against Morse since his sergeant days.

Endeavour being the story of those very days, Inspector Morse fans have been watching the prequel closely for a cameo by the younger Hugo de Vries. After another ‘Masonic Mysteries’ character, Marion Brooke, turned up in Series 3’s ‘Arcadia’, Endeavour writer Russell Lewis was asked in this 2017 interview whether Endeavour would one day bump into de Vries. Lewis replied, “Each thing in its season. I shouldn’t be surprised to see him sooner or later.”

Jump forward four years to a post-Series Eight finale exchange on Twitter when Lewis is asked the same question. The writer’s answer this time is more playful. “Ah, Hugo. Who can say if he hasn’t already crossed our path? He might well have done, of course. On the other hand… ‘Now you see him, now you don’t. That’s de Vries all right’.”

In the spirit of investigation, let’s assess the evidence. Is Lewis just teasing or has Hugo de Vries already crossed our path in Endeavour, namely in the form of Ryan Gage’s Series Seven villain Ludo Talenti?

That name alone may contain all the clue we need. Not only do Hugo and Ludo bear more than a glancing resemblance, but the latter in Latin is the first person of the verb ‘to play’. ‘I play… many talents’ would be an inelegant translation. A better one might include the possible allusion to Patricia Highsmith’s famous conman Tom Ripley, given the epithet ‘Talented’ in his first appearance. Like Ripley, both Hugo and Ludo are master manipulators who charm and inveigle their way to wealth, leaving a trail of bodies in their wake. 

To jog the memory, Ludo recurred throughout Series Seven, initially presenting himself as a university contemporary of Morse’s who ran into him after Morse’s wallet was lifted at a garden concert (almost certainly a ruse designed to engineer the ‘accidental’ meeting). Ludo befriended Morse and the pair bonded over a shared love of opera. Ludo’s family is in shipping, he tells Morse, and he travels around raising money for their charitable fund, driven by a pursuit of music and beautiful women.

When Morse asks him which country he’s from, Ludo is coy, preferring to say he is a “man of the world.” He later tells a childhood story about life during Nazi occupation, which throws up various suggestions but like so much Ludo says, that could well be fiction. For what it’s worth, the saying he cites as from his country, “Do not praise a day before sunset,” is Polish. And what of Hugo de Vries’ nationality? Ian McDiarmid’s accent in ‘Masonic Mysteries’ is difficult to place, though the name is Dutch (borrowed from a famous botanist), and he faked his death in prison in Sweden. (Ludo incidentally tells Morse that he posed as a Swedish policeman on the phone once to track the detective down.) Ludo’s name, it’s revealed in the Series 7 finale, was taken from the gravestone of a 16th century priest on Venice’s San Michele cemetery island.

To tot up the similarities so far, that’s two criminals, of indiscriminate European origin, around Morse’s age, fluent in the language of classical music and opera, living under assumed names. Both also share a snobbish disdain for the police. Ludo expressed surprise that a man as cultured as Morse would be “a lumpen, plodding petty official” while Hugo sneered at Morse’s colleagues going about in pairs “like low comedians.” They also share a similarly rarefied, Bond Villain-ish way of speaking (Every man has his price, every man, I shall make it my life’s business to find yours,”), and express the same nihilistic attitude. “Life, death, rich, poor, it’s all a roll of the dice, Morse, there’s no reason to any of it,” says Ludo, foreshadowing Hugo’s words when he forces Morse to his knees at gunpoint in ‘Masonic Mysteries’. “He was clever, you see,” Inspector Morse tells Lewis in that episode, “he took one look and knew your weakness right away.” In Series 7, Ludo jokes to Morse that he will find his weakness and exploit it without mercy to his own ends.

What else? The nature of their crimes. In ‘Masonic Mysteries’ Morse tells Lewis that his past encounter with de Vries saw him con Oxford University out of millions of pounds. His scam had a kind of poetry to it – posing as the heir to a Swedish armaments manufacturer, de Vries proposed the building of an institute for peace studies. His later scheme involved stealing money from Marion Brooke’s charitable foundation to frame Morse.

Ludo’s Series 7 scheme was less poetic, but of a similar flavour. He bought up life insurance policies of people looking for a quick pay out, killed them, cashed in, and disguised the deaths as freak accidents. One such victim was poor Carrie Bright, the cancer-suffering wife of ACC Bright. (In a rather baroque twist, the initials of the locations for each murder spelled out the name L.U.D.O.). Both men wore disguises to do their evil work – de Vries posed as a homeless man to murder Morse’s former guvnor McNutt, and Talenti posed as a healer to gain access to the Bright home and sabotage their Christmas lights, causing Mrs Bright’s death by electrocution. Note in the image above the name of the Executive Director of Ludo’s fake company ‘California Amenity Redemption and Disbursement’ (or C.A.R.D, perhaps another game-play reference…) in the signature on one of his victim’s letters: E. De Vere?

Hugo and Ludo didn’t work alone on their devilish schemes, they each had a female accomplice. Hugo’s was the aforementioned Marion Brooke, a devotee who shared his revenge obsession (Hugo’s the kind of man who makes women kick off their shoes and men open their chequebooks when he enters a room, Morse once told Lewis). Ludo’s was Violetta (played by Stephanie Leonidas), who started a passionate affair with Morse during his holiday in Venice. In the Series 7 denouement, Ludo says that he picked Violetta from the streets when she was 15 years old and “gave her the world,” forcing her to become his co-conspirator in the life insurance murders and the plan to make Morse his “pet policeman”. 

On the subject of having police officers in your pocket, Hugo de Vries’ association with Morse’s longstanding adversaries the Masons mustn’t be forgotten. De Vries taunted Morse with his masonic connections, through Mozart’s freemason-themed opera The Magic Flute. There’s no evidence that Ludo Talenti was involved with the freemasons yet, but Endeavour viewers know that they’re in full operation in Oxford at the time.

Endeavour and Violetta met at a performance of ‘La Sposa del Demonio’ in Venice, an operatic work by Endeavour composer Matthew Slater, which translates fittingly as ‘The Demon’s Wife’. Demons come up a great deal around Talenti and de Vries. “There speaks a devil sick of sin,” Ludo says to Endeavour. “There may not be a devil, but there’s devilry alright, and de Vries…” says Inspector Morse, walking away from Hugo’s burial and doubting whether or not he’s really in the coffin. (De Vries’ name, cryptic crossword fans can’t ignore, shares its first three letters with ‘devil’). And perhaps it just suited his complexion, but Ludo wears deep red numerous times in Series 7, perhaps in echo to de Vries’ burgundy shirt in his sole appearance. 

Speaking of that Venetian denouement, did Ludo not die after being shot by Fred Thursday and falling into a canal, putting the kibosh on the ‘Ludo is Hugo’ theory? Well, he was certainly shot, and he certainly did fall into the canal, but did he die, or did that devil live to return and torment Morse under a new name in future adventures? You’ve heard the evidence. What’s your verdict?

i didn’t think i’d be making a part two to this but hey i’m idea-less. @aliarosella i hope this lives up to your expectations 🥺🥺. this will contain spoilers from the manga so please proceed with caution. He is an obsessive yandere

Obsessive in a way that he always have her safety on his mind, wonders if she messed with the wrong apparition, imagining her bright smile once more, or reminiscing of her warm hands that reminded him that she’s alive

He is obsessive in that he cared for her so much that he wanted to protect her from the dangers of her new reality

However, he could not protect her from that accident

“Kid, please!” Hanako begged. When Yashiro didn’t come to school, he didn’t think much of it. Until another day passed, and another one came. The apparition floated beside the young exorcist, shaking his shoulders.

“Senpai made me promise not to tell you.” Kou rubbed the back of his neck. It was one thing to promise Yashiro not to speak of the incident, and another to not speak of who did it. He already broke one. When Kou explained that Yashiro hit her head and suffered a severe concussion, Hanako could barely register the words coming out of his mouth. He assured the apparition that it would take a day in the hospital. He had to keep reminding Hanako that she isn’t dead.

Kou didn’t have any intention of breaking his promise. Yashiro specifically said not to tell anyone what really happened in the cooking room. Yet something inside him wondered if it was a good idea to keep it from Hanako.

“It was a guy in third year. They say he had disciplinary issues and acted like a delinquent.” Kou was hesitant. Who wouldn’t be? He looked down, waiting for a reaction from the ghost. Hanako’s eyes darkened.

“I don’t think Senpai told me the whole truth. Only that she was at the wrong place at the wrong time.” Kou muttered. He didn’t think it was loud for the ghost to hear, but Hanako could already envision what happened. His mind replayed a scenario where Yashiro was struck by a blunt object. It was on purpose, wasn’t it? That boy did it to provoke him, didn’t he?

“I’m sure it was just an acc—“ Kou stopped. When he looked up, he saw Hanako’s expression grow cold as shivers went down his spine. A dark shadow cast over the apparition’s face as his hand twitched in anger. Kou’s heart started to beat faster as Hanako lifted his head to meet his eyes. The look that he gave was unearthly and foreign. Kou didn’t know how much trouble he caused for the apparition. His brother’s words rang in his head. A troublesome ghost that goes unstable at the drop of a hat...

He is a resentful yandere

Resentful in a way that he can no longer put a facade on, that he has brought hell to the academy, except no one knew that he declared war

He is resentful in that he didn’t need words to express the feelings bottled inside

However, he’s walking the line between stability and insanity

He never thought too hard about it. Really, he didn’t. He didn’t. He thought that he didn’t. His mind always dirfted back to that delinquent that hurt Yashiro. What if that killed her? What if she died there, while Hanako didn’t know? What if he came too late? It killed him, thinking that way. Nothing good came out of it, but he can’t stop. He fell into despair while she was in the hospital.

Thoughts plagued his mind. He stopped smiling. He no longer had a carefree tone in his voice. He wasn’t the teasing and playful No. 7. No, he changed. There was no more joy in his eyes. There would be no more butterflies in his stomach. There would be no warmth to remind him that all he does is for Yashiro to live. All he felt was numb. Pain. Resent.

Resent for that boy. That insolent fool. He wondered if Yashiro would be better off without that kid. In fact, everyone would be better off without him, right? Hanako twisted his mindset. His head grew heavy as his heart turned bitter and harder, almost stone. It hurt to smile, too. But this sick and twisted grin, Hanako found himself adapting to this new look.

It didn’t go by unnoticed. Akane, Vice President and Clock Keeper, would often see him wandering the halls. He didn’t do anything out of the ordinary, just passing by. What caught Akane’s eye however, was the look on his face. It always seemed like he was looking for something beyond him. Akane fixed his glasses, heading to the Student Council Room.

Kou didn’t know what to do. For the most part, Hanako stopped talking at all. Not that he didn’t mind it, sometimes it was nice to not hear his perverted thoughts. But he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. Worried, he looked for the apparition in the girl’s bathroom. He reached out to knock when he heard a giggle. It sounded like Hanako. It’s been a while since he heard him laugh. No, this is different. It wasn’t a pity laugh, nor did it stem from joy. The distant voice of his brother called to him. He harms the living at the slightest provocation...

He is a distant yandere

Distant in a way that he wouldn’t meet with anyone, preferring to isolate himself from people and apparitions

He is distant in that he won’t let anyone come near him, not that anyone approached him

However, he found himself longing for something to distract him from his loneliness

The 7th Wonder didn’t know when he started to isolate himself. For 3 days, he already seemed accustomed to it. Like second nature. It terrified him, how easy it was for him to adapt with the new reality he has. Yashiro is still in the hospital. He wondered how she’s doing, as he always does. He found himself at the school rooftop. He missed it when she made him donuts. Or when they came up there to talk about anything. He missed teasing her and seeing her face flush. The mokke came and went, offering him food they stole found in the cooking room. The cooking room. Where the accident took place. He shook his head.

“It’s not healthy to keep your emotions to yourself, you know?” Hanako turned his head and found Tsuchigomori, giving him a concerned look. Hanako sighed and went back to staring beyond the school gates. Perhaps if he was taller, he could get a better view and find the hospital. “Are you even listening to me?”

“I don’t have to.” Hanako crossed his arms. He looked at Tsuchigomori, glaring at him. The fifth mystery remained unfazed as Hanako continued. “There’s nothing you can do to change the fact that she’s hurt. And I’m not there with her.”

“We’re all hurt when we heard what happened. You’re not the only one suffering.” Tsuchigomori sighed as he went back the stairs. Some of the mysteries were uncomfortable with how the Honorable No. 7 was acting. Maybe he was acting out of self interest. Only doing what he felt like he needs to do. By himself, like he always did. Maybe that’s what Hanako is. Self-serving and violent...

He is a dependent yandere

Dependent in a way that he can’t see himself do anything without Yashiro, or yearn to brush her hair and feel the gentle touch when their hands intertwine

He is dependent in that he didn’t want to lose the solace he found in his arms

However, he found himself facing this temporary but painful reality

Hanako found himself rocking back and forth in the girls bathroom. God, how he wanted it to be over. He wanted Yashiro back in his arms. He wanted to talk about daikon, just to see her face turn angry. It always brought a smile on his face. She was his salvation. The only good thing in this world to him. The only thing that mattered in the world to him. The only thing that meant something to him.

Three days felt like hell. No, hell was kinder than this reality. Any day without her, left alone to his imagination, it didn’t do any good. The mokke sensed his distress and pain. The other mysteries noticed it, too. Without Yashiro, they’re left to wonder if Hanako would disappear from the near shore, because what is his world without her?

Kou’s mind wandered back to when his brother nearly exorcised the apparition. Hanako had said that he still had things to do. What things? The life of a murderer could never atone for anything. There were things that needed to be done. But this was a punishment for Hanako. Something worse than being released from the near shore.

Hanako found himself unconsciously reaching for the mop that Yashiro always used. He found himself unconsciously touching the door to the third stall. He was torn. He grew worse every day. His mind went to a dark place. A grim and lonely mindset that no one should ever go into. That boy... He caused his heart to turn cold. He wanted to snap, oh God, what he would do to snap. Release all the emotions. Like he did with Tsukasa. Tsukasa... He took his brother’s life. Taking life from another...

He is a taunting yandere

Taunting in a way that he didn’t see anything wrong with it, only acting on what he believes is true

He is taunting in that he’s trying to see how far he could go before something happens

However, he found himself slowly losing his grip on reality

Was this his punishment? For God to give him his haven, only to take it away once more? What more could God do? What other cruel fate is planned? His heart started to beat faster. Nothing could hurt him any more than this. His head hurt from all the thoughts that raced through his head. There would be another time to think about what happened. Another time to ask why Yashiro was hurt. Another time to ask why it had to be Yashiro.

Hanako could remember Teru’s words when they confronted each other. Maybe part of it was true. Maybe is a troublesome ghost. Maybe he would harm the living for what they did to Yashiro. Maybe it’s of his own accord, serving his self interest. To take away that delinquent’s life for nearly taking away Yashiro’s. He could disappear now, yes, but what if Yashiro got hurt? His days without her felt like it happened for forever. Maybe when she dies, they could be happy. Happier without the pain in the world. Happier without the pity that came too late. Yet he clings stubbornly to the near shore and refuse to accept his own death...

He is a quiet yandere

Quiet in a way that he didn’t need words to convey what he’s feeling, denying his delusions, and found solace in a gloomy place

He is quiet in that he kept his dark fantasies to himself, never letting anyone ask what was going on in his head

However, he didn’t know if what he did next was real

Night is about to fall. Something about today felt different. There was something in his eyes.

Maybe the joy of seeing his blood splatter in the kitchen room. Maybe the thrill and excitement that rushed through him as he held the knife. The happiness he felt when the boy’s heart slowed its beating. His eyes glowed with hunger for more, his smile growing wider every time he choked out blood. The look in his face never faltered, only growing darker as screams echoed in his head. The delinquent’s face started to lose its color, eyes drained of life.

Slowly, he closed his eyes, no longer witnessing the apparition’s murderous gaze. Panting heavily, he dropped the kitchen knife.

The night was quiet.

There were no screams.

Blood stained the floor, the walls, smeared on his face, on the countertop. The entire room would be a crime scene. Hanako looked out the window. The moon shone brightly, the smell of blood no longer filling up the room. Did he imagine killing him? It felt so real. It didn’t matter then, because his heart started to settle down. Whether he made it up or put it into action, he allowed his mind to reach the deepest and darkest pit that demons fear to enter.

It was fine.

He was fine now.

When Yashiro came back, he gave her the biggest hug and cuddled her like a koala. He refused to let go of her, even as she went to class. She didn’t mind, she missed him too. Her mind wandered as class began.

What was Hanako doing without her? Was he alright?

It’s been a few days, but she can’t help but worry about how lonely he must have been. Hanako stood behind her, twirling her hair in between his fingers. She reached behind her and touched his hand, which would seem like she was touching her hair to most people. He missed her soft touch and let out a small smile. But something lingered in his mind, making the soft look on his face falter.

He still can’t comprehend what happened. Whether he really did kill the boy. He couldn’t bear to tell Yashiro. He stared at the back of her head, lifeless eyes looking for a distant memory where he satisfied his bloodlust.

To be perfectly honest...

We put a bunch of cc ideas (hair and clothes) in a discord server we have together and then work on the stuff together on call usually so each item is the way we both want me. Like for example i’ll be meshing the Ivy top while he works on texturing the ribbed version.  We also only do collabs when they happen, we didn’t plan AxA 2019 or this new set, mainly just made cc starting in May and wrapped it up in July to release in August. Then this time we started making stuff late December and got most of it done by the time I got done with my break. Having a planned collab/deadline makes stuff less stressful and the stuff usually turns out better imo

omg noooo ;n; yeah Litten is a cutie... incineroar is... well I got used to him tbh and kind of like him now? I absolutely hate scorbunny’s evolution (and most of the SWSH starters final evolution) so I think that made incineroar slightly better in my eyes. I really really wanted to have all my 2019 hairs updated by 2020. It was only January 2019-April 2019 that needed updated (thumbnails and display indexes). But I just lost motivation for doing it. I will focus on it next time I have a big break from school. Also planning on updating select stuff from 2018 and 2017.

this is a late as hell reply i’m sorry. I think that you have texture where the glasses texture would be. Hair texture should only be in hair section or hat section (if you don’t want it hat compatible). Here is a UV map layout that I use for making hair textures. It shouldnt have anything to do with weights

I do use reshade when I take cc previews. It adds a bit of saturation to my sims and gives them some shadows under their chin/clothes. Nothing major. Also, myself and @imvikai came up with the tropical punch palette together.

This is a rant about my crappy life so maybe u might not want to spend your time on this.

I have observed this pattern with me that I get really obsessed with something and end up doing that thing all day everyday without any kind of break. First it was obsessing over my crush and then boyfriend(it was sooo exhausting because he was an asshole) then it was watching shows( I watched Grey's anatomy, the office, parks and rec, etc etc), and now it is my Instagram page for dark academia... it's ALL I DO....and I really don't know if all this took a toll on my mental health because I've been feeling like this for years now..I remember when I used to do all kinds of different things like painting going outside( yes I never went outside unless necessary even before covid19) etc I have no REAL friends ( maybe that's my fault too maybe I come off arrogant mean just a bad person) but I swear I try to seem a good person and personally I think I'm not that bad but maybe other people just don't like me because I'm just a person who everyone hates no matter what..I always talk so kindly to everyone but no one seems to want to be my friend...I have 2 friends but they're a little problematic as "they're not into feminism" but I really feel strongly about feminism so that's a problem... I asked a feminist page on insta about this ( my only 2 friends being problematic) and she said I should make some online friends so I created a dark academia account on instagram to find some friends ( I have another tumblr acc but I never really talk to any of my mutuals or anyone because I like them a lot and I'm afraid they might hate me too) and I tried to talk to some ppl there but they seem so uninterested so yeah I don't know what to do...but anyways I think I'm addicted to the internet I just can't go long without checking my phone or laptop. I really don't know what to do. I've researched so much I've watched videos, wikihows etc.but I just can't seem to study properly.i know I'm not supposed to wait for motivation and inspiration but I really really need it because the way I see it I only have to study to get a job and get money. I don't want to study out of desperation. Everyone says I'm a bright student ( this sounds braggy and if someone is reading this ( who am I kidding no one's gonna read this ) u probably hate me too now) and I really liked study a few years ago. And I want to get hat old me back...the me who used to study and read for pleasure. Now I just have to study or else my parents are gonna get mad and disappointed if I dont and eventually I'll have no qualification no job no money and a crappy life. But anyways I have to do something. Because THE MOST IMPORTANT EXAM OF MY LIFE IS SO CLOSE AND I AM DRAASSSTICALLYYBEHIND tbh I know literally NOTHING NADA. So I'm gonna 'suck it up' and try to get obsessed ( like I said in the beginning) with studying and just study how much ever I can before my exam. I'm gonna study all day and at the end of the day I'm gonna take a test on whatever I studied or what I was gonna study( regardless of whether or not I studied. Then I'm gonna post what I've studied and how I did on my test here so I'll be embarrassed when I perform poorly.i think this will last like 5 mins in the morning and I'll go back to being obsessed with my insta page.( It's not even good it's just stupid idk why I'm doing this but that's the link to it?

I know there are a lot of people who have worse problems but I just feel very crappy.

Anyways consider this a rant or a cry for help or whatever.I'll start tomorrow.

I'll put some tags so maybe someone might read this.
