Favourite colour: green! many shades of green, tho mostly natural forest-y ones

Currently watching: nothing much apart from occasional stuff on youtube, but I'm listening to Milkman of St. Gaff's rn, recently finished the first season

Sweet/savoury/spicy: why must I choose one... I'm a type of beast that gets occasional cravings and all of these are on the list at some point. I got a sweet tooth and a-okay spice tolerance, but savory might be the most reliable option, can't go wrong with that one

Relationship status: blissfully maidenless :3 I'm on aro and ace spectrums so I'm not interested in pursuing any romantic relationships

Current obsession: grasping at last straws of my trigun obsession so I can finish my multi chapter fic... I'm still in the sauce it just shifted from hyperfixation to special interest. and I made a deal with myself to finish that wip before plunging into new fandoms (tho I can FEEL the next big thing for me is gonna be dungeon meshi)

out of non-fandom stuff, I recently became obsessed with filterless water tanks. I actually set one up on my desk and it's thriving! if all goes well, I can get cherry shrimp next week, which I'm super excited about (I don't plan on any fish for now, but it's full of different invertebrates that are even more interesting to me). also I got really into knitting sweaters and my current wip is almost finished

i think almost every stampede complaint can be batted away by saying “yes if this was a 100% completed product it would be a bad adaptation of trigun, but as it’s an incomplete series/reboot/prequel and hasn’t had time to delve into that plot point/character arc yet and/or is addressing it differently but hasn’t actually had time to finish that storyline yet, you may be being a little premature in your judgments”

there are a handful of legitimate complaints to make and i’m sure i’ve already made them, but most of them i do not have the time of day for and “but milly isn’t there :(” certainly ain’t one of ‘em

Summary: Months after the events of July, Wolfwood hears about a monster lurking in an old ship out in the desert. The townsfolk want him to kill it, but a young girl says it's her friend. Wolfwood knows that there are monsters and there are monsters, so he'll check it out decide for himself.

I'm honestly not sure how I stumbled across this particular fic (maybe ace Trigun week?), but it caught me up pretty quick. It starts with a mystery we're pretty sure we know the answer to and grows into a story of doing one's best to care for the strong when they are at their weakest. Despite some of the dark themes hinted at above, this story is gentle and loving. It's a got a bit of a "found family" dynamic, and as much as it's about caring for others, it also seems to be about learning to be cared for.

It also brings in something we haven't yet seen much in canon: interactions between Lina and Wolfwood, and it's great watching them bond in their own way as the story builds. They're two of my favorites, so getting a bit more of them is definitely welcome.

I look forward to the next chapter, whether that's next week or next month or a year from now.

What is it about Trigun that appeals to Ace Attorney fans? I swear every AA blog I follow has been overcome with Trigun fever. (not complaining I just find it interesting)

oh for me trigun’s a nostalgia blast bc it was one of the first anime I watched in middle school (but I only read the manga last september so I was normal about the series until then) but I think it just happens to be the right time for trigun to make a comeback since—and I hate to say it like this even though it’s true—his reboot design makes him look more appealing to a wider audience

and now we use “babygirl” to describe pathetic men, and vash is like. the babygirl of all time (and if you like phoenix or klavier, for example, you’ll like vash). and that’s how stampede gets you into trimax

also wolfwood’s tits probably have something to do with it. anyway
