the thing about april may ace attorney is that her gender presentation is not really an accurate reflection of who she is but rather a kind of emergency drag because she is in a position where if at any point she ceases the performance of april may, the character, the flirty the pink the hyperfeminine, shes at real risk of being fucking killed And i personally i think she has been performing for so long that whatever original personality she might have had was completely buried

these come from this reddit post by user JC-DisregardMe. while no official statements have been made, these do seem pretty authentic, though for obvious reasons, this post will be deleted if conflicting evidence is revealed or anything like that.

edit: these screenshots have also previously been posted to what appears to be a French Nintendo fan(???) website that contains various other leaked screenshots, which adds some credibility!
