Thanks a lot sis. Well i am a salafi now alhamdulillah haha 😁☺️ well pls give me the links of salafi websites. More salafi like you said. Lucky you cz its easier for you to learn about salaf and the sunnah cz of your parents and families .. its just hard for me cz im the only one who want to learn about salaf. My parents arent salafis and still hard to accept it. Tbh they arent really practicing 😭 thats why i feel like impossible for me to be a salafi especially i sinned a lot already 😭

youre welcome, im glad i was of any help 😊 weell, i dont know. maybe easier in the sense that i was taught about Islam when i was a kid, but not all of my family is practising (yet…). and my dad isnt around that much, so it does feel like being the only one for me too, actually. but that doesnt make me worse and it shouldnt make you feel worse either. nor should it make you feel like its impossible to be a salafi. and dont despair of Allah’s Mercy, you havent done a sin that He can not forgive. just make tawbah in shaa Allah and try to do better from now on (and if you make a sin again, dont go back into thinking you cant continue upon the path of the salafs, rather just repent and try to do better again). “Say: “O ‘Ibaadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (39:53)Allaah said “O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. Imām al-Barbahārī رحمه الله (died 329 AH) stated:

“Know that Allah’s Messenger (sall Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: “My ummah will divide into 73 sects, all of them will be in the Fire except for one, and that is the Jamā’ah.” It was said, “And who are they, O Allaah’s Messenger?” He responded, “That which I and my Companions are upon today.”

Assalamualaykum. I was wondering, what if a tasbeeh or a counter is used simply because it helps keep track of how many times you have read? What if a person does not believe it existed during the early years and oh it’s a part of Islam etc etc and they simply use a tasbeeh, counter, beads to keep track? Why would that be bidat? Isn’t bidat adding new innovations to the religion? But, in this case, nobody is saying it’s a part of Islam etc but simply it’s a way to remember? I don’t really get it

... because in the deen you are already given an alternative. You don't have to claim that something is part of the deen for it to be a bidaah (for example birthdays and anniversaries) but these things are part of ibadaat and when it comes to matters of worship we have specific guidelines of what to do and evertthing that doesn't fit into this guideline is considered a bidaah. (Paraphrasing ibn taymiyyahs words on the matter).
