If you want to feel true joy you would watch Absurd Planet on Netflix

i'm gonna be real with you, I don't even think Cortes fits earth's criteria for "living". She can mimic cells, but she's not built with 'em. She doesn't grow, she appears to be capable of reproducing, but progeny are likely just clones of the partner. Our girl likes to take vacations to the bottom of the ocean so that she can feel nice and compressed for a while. Can she survive the vaccum of space? My money is on yes, though I think she prefers very very dense/heavy atmospheres. All speculation, Cortes is kinda unknowable.

I actually have favorite anti meta posts because some of them really do fuck in a literary analysis kind of way, but mostly because some of them are literally free therapy they’re just so funny. like that’s my comfort clownery

Okay so I "inherited" this from my mother:
It's a pretty incredible. It's weird. My grandmother (who is just a whole heap of unbelievable stories and shit) apparently got four or so of these, each a different style, when my mom was younger, and gave one to her and each of her sisters. She thought they were "charming."
They are cocaine rings.
"Now hold on, Lily!" you might say. "Couldn't those be poison rings or something?"
Well here's the thing about that: there's an imprint on the ring that we did some googling about. The imprint tells what sort of metal it is, and we know from the metal and the imprint describing it that these rings were forged in peak cocaine times, baaaabyyyy.
So, yes, it's a cocaine ring. My grandmother got four second-hand cocaine rings to give to her four daughters because "she just thought they were so charming."
Like they had been chosen to summon the coolest fucking Captain Planet you have ever seen.

Honkai: Star Rail.
At first glance, he looks like a completely normal person with a penchant for suffering misfortune. At second glance, he still is an ordinary, unassuming guy… But he’s from a different universe, an entirely separate branch on the Imaginary Tree. Makoto isn’t exactly sure how he ended up in this cosmos, and eventually joined the Nameless aboard the Astral Express with the hope that exploring this universe would help him learn the circumstances surrounding his predicament.
