Maddox being Red's best man because when she's told she needs to pick someone, anyone she wants to stand by her side at her wedding she can't think of anybody but this mad hatter from her home realm because he had been her support system before she got to Auradon

Maddox being her best man because he is Red's mentor, longest friend, her adoptive big brother and when she had nobody else, in a cold and lonely palace that held no love for her, he was there like her beacon with his top hat and little inventions

Maddox is her best man because he talks her through her first date nerves, telling her that she deserves love, that she above everyone deserves to be happy and to chase this happiness with chloe. He talks her through proposal nerves too, he designs the box the ring comes in to make it more personal, and he gifts it to her with a smile

Maddox being her best man because he is her BIGGEST FAN (other than chloe and her mom) and has stood with her through thick and thin, in this timeline and the next and she wants him to know how much he means to her

I'm so down bad for Maddox and Ashlyn that my three favourite scenes are:

3. The Redlyn breakup - the chillest break up, Red supporting Ashlyn going after Maddox and the most insane storyline of Red realising he's bi because he kisses Seb

2. Just the entirety of Maddox during opening night - having an existential breakdown over your love life that you break the sound controls and then just give up on your stage manager duties and disappear (probably to help quinn)

1. The confession - a scene I want on repeat: the explanations of how afraid they are of how much they like the other then the "should we just stay friends?" Before having such a love induced make out their just completely ignore Carlos being there. (Also Maddison giving up and telling Maddox to stop coming back to her when she clearly likes Ashlyn... my baby just needed that push)

I love all my queer children but these two are the wlw so I love them just slightly more.

Headcanons I've been cooking;

-the paradise theater doing a mystery science theater 3000 bit most days (I'm like 90% sure that its basically the equivalent in their multiverse anyway, oops)

-frank and clementine still tries to keep contact and make visits if even possible anymore. June likes to receive letters and postcards as a loose penpal relationship as proof of their "mad lib situation"

-I feel robbed that June and Ava didn't interact much, they'd have so much fun and nobody would be able to handle these bar buds. Never mind theres probably a reason why these two aren't allowed in a bar together, but I love their raw chaos and hijinks would definitely go on

-Gloria makes the storage closet her room at first but when Caspar gets back, he gives her the main office since she's da b0ss now, she still spends a lot of time camping with her bts wolves making stew for them, its her own therapy

-Leif putting together a game console for the gang when theyre bored, Caspar is the best at retro games surprisingly aside from the fact hes been asking for a pinball machine forever, everyone cracks old man jokes. Mostly David and Ava, his biggest hecklers <3

-eventually they begin to cultivate a small arcade, leif fixes up a few machines for the diner (its free) kids across the cosmos go 'you mean you have to play the game with your hands?? Its like a baby's toy :/" caspar is flabbergasted, Leif just shrugs and goes "i warned you bro" and does more Leif shit

-David plays cod on their designated staff console in the office space in their down time between shifts. Feet kicked up and the lazy fan blowing, do you see my vision? this is the most important highlight so far

-David used to stream sometimes on earth in LA for funsies now and then during lockdown when he wasnt up for running out at night vandalizing the blank canvas known as the streets

-he still talks to his mom and plays catch up even from space despite the time it takes to send messages. David continues to find her drunk calls entertaining (canon anyway) Caspar doesn't really drink alcohol and is worried about the loss of control, I think hes just anxious and insecure about it.

*I don't really think caspar was much of a dick when he drank raising david, he probably was a rambling annoying dad with a shitty attitude that was hard to tolerate. like, okay, old man, we get it the world sucksss stop being so sad and let's play legos and not roleplay the state of the economic decline about it (shh, I'm not projecting gay son and drunk well meaning dad dynamics)

-Ava peer pressures Caspar *only* for celebrations anyway

-micheladas for everyone the next day, some sweet hair of the dog when the various drank theyre able to get their hands on is too much to cope with the next day if they still even have moonshine to spare left

-Leif stocks up on so much fucking hash whilst in Pasadena (as one does stuck in shitty corners of California for hangovers, generalized depression, and dread. hence all the alcohol mentions I'm not promoting alcoholic diner dwellers I swear-) which tbh parallels the way Ava stocks up nicotine from ye old moonshiner imo

literally so infuriating how in next gen season 1 tasha yar calls data “more human than the rest of us” basically smacking the audience over the head with the main thesis of data’s character and then almost every Star Trek writer after that went “uhhhhh but is data really human? yeah he’s almost exactly like an average guy but it’s so hard to tell! what an interesting moral quandary!” like fuck off!!!

only listens to three kinds of music: chemlab style electronica, video game soundtracks, and classical orchestral

favorite soft drink is cream soda

plays the saxophone

works at a fictional video rental place called Videomania

in addition to being the leader of the computer science club he considers himself the head of the charge in the "war" between geeks and jocks. gets away with so much bullshit at school because he's kind of a teacher's pet and more tech savvy than over half the school staff. uses this privilege to watch violent movies on the projector during club hours and sneak parts of his knife collection into school

totally no joke bisexual (takes him 'til college to realize this though). also jewish.

of course!! (thanks for the ask btw and i'm sorry i only got around to answering it today!)

he's baiano and only made it to night city because his dad dragged them halfway across the continent in pursuit of money (that he ultimately earned off maddox's back).

because of that he knows his way around gangs and fixers, and he's just as handy with a gun as he is with a wrench. he also worked as a joytoy for a while. on the side he picked up an interest in netrunning, although he didn't really have the means or the time to do much with it at that point.

he ended up doing a gig for a nomad called murdoc, and upon its completion, he was invited to join the bakker clan, where murdoc helped him sober up and started to teach him about netrunning. after the clan fell apart and merged with the snake nation, they split up, but still remain in contact.

the relic set him back a bit, but he's hellbent on surviving whatever soulkiller has in store for him and after running with the nomads for so long he might just end up pulling it off, ya know? he's resourceful like that. and once arasaka's dealt with, there might also be the founding of a schaeffer clan on the horizon. 👀

his primary love interest is takemura, but also this outtake doesn't just exist for the fun of it (i'll talk more about this soon, for now i just have to get the feral brainworms out so i can form coherent sentences)
