I fully believe the drive in rebels is just there also having no idea what's going on so everyones saying it knows what must be done and the light side is like "I do?" Whilst the dark is "WHEN THE FUCK DID WE KNWO WHAT WE'RE DOING" both are freaking out heavily and it's the most hilarious thing to me imagine the supposed all powerful force freaking out with its own two sides also freaking out

Have you thought about Daemons that come from people who died from Mind Control?
This is someone I thought of just now so it’s not that polished.
They have a type of demon made from mortals who used mind control in their life but what about mortals who died while under a Aboleth psionic Will who forced you to work yourself to death to build their lair or was under a charmed spell and you wasted away.
Cognitiodeamons as a name I just made up are deamons made from the souls of those who died because of mind control. From a wicked enchanter who ordered them to die to a bunch of corrupt guards who where ordered to kill themselves in self defense, to a enchanted bridge that when they tried to pass they feel through.
Cognitodeamons are skilled in the same mental dominion as of what lead to their demise when summoned they gather meat puppets to kill as many as they can and then themselves their souls going to the CognitoDaemons to devour.
They also have the ability to “steal” a mindslave from someone else’s thrall.
As many of them died to Aboloths and other Aberrations they have a cold hatred towards the hidden ones and delight in using the Aboloths own thralls against them. A Aboloths soul can be sold for a great deal to a Cognitodeamon. The same thing can be said about Enchanters and Memerists.
Ooooooh, yes, yes, that's a good one! I like it! The name's also got a nice ring to it, too! Tells you perfectly what it is and what to expect... though you may still not be prepared for it. I like this concept! And it fits nice into the niche of "psychic daemon."

I think Star Wars writers should just start putting Legends characters in places where they absolutely should not be.
In the post-sequel movies I want to see Trachta inexplicably on Exegaal mopping up the dead Snokes.
I want Aboloth to fight Clone Wars Anakin.
I want the NULL Clones to kidnap Andor.
I want Starkiller to wage war against the Old Republic.

Really dark headcanon about Aboloth
I think she kills her "avatars" the moment where she takes over them, then uses the force to inhabit their bodies. She is better able to take control of force sensitives but they will still start to decay.(nonforce sensitives will start much quicker) The avatars don't breath the way they should. We know about how they resist pain, it's because they've been dead for a long while. Aboloth alone is hurt when they are injured. All avatars are connected to Aboloths mind after ... their body was taken. This has been a dark headcanon

"You know....”
Your voice cracks as light turns to night. Finding yourself in darkness....
”This is just fine. As long as there are no Aboloths or an Illithid....we should be find right? Just an outside underdark....Right?”

Quotes from our Party’s Tiefling Cleric 29/?
“Lugh, do you wanna wear the dead person’s clothes?”
“You want us to get you some beignets my guy?”
“Although, can you imagine, us going around with six skelly-tones.”
“I’m not even from this plane, homie!”
“How top secret? How about a bottom secret? I can switch.”
“I mean whenever you see a big beefy woman swinging an axe, how can you say no to that?”
“Normally I talk first, but that doesn’t make me the face of the group, I’m usually the ass.”
“That’s all right, sometimes gods can be assholes.”
“There’s paperwork, and we don’t have the attention span for that.”
“We got to meet an aboloth which was sups cool.”
“Most hearts bleed if you rip them out fast enough.”

1 Random Character
Aboloth A middle-aged (~474 years) non-binary demonkin with garnet eyes. They are quite fond of roots, cabbage, and dumplings, but do not care for climbing and distilling. They are frightened by lettuce and ketchup. They feel unhappy with their life and have a cowardly, scholarly, but enigmatic demeanor.

Have I stated what I think about what Aboloth is?
We're talking about a creature who absorbes souls(Force presence, whatever, it's creepier to call them souls), bends planets to suit her, and effectively controlled a group of Sith without their knowledge. She melted a city because she was hurt. At the end, I don't remember if she was ever called a demon, but I'd say she's the Star Wars equivalent. It's said that the Son and Daughter (aka the FORCE) needed help to INPRISON her. (The kiliks (or however you spell it)) They didn't destroy her. Does it ever say why? Could they? But that doesn't make sense look at all the times someone killed on of her bodies... but she still came back... Keeps coming back... If one avatar got away... Luke himself doesn't believe she's gone. A Demon is growing in power, multiplying, waiting. I doubt they'll write what happens when she returns, but it won't, couldn't be like the story told before.

Okay but what happens if Aboloth had one of the avatar things, and it was captured and put in a force void? Like does it deteriorate over time, does the original person start to take back control, does nothing happen? Idk. How does that even work? Could, theoretically, when Aboloth does her whole creepy mindsteely thing, someone resist? Is it possible the repel the attack... wait Vol did. Are there other ways to do that?

Skykhai monster AU :)
The current would not remain steady, she would escape again. The Force knew this, and with its Avatars gone it made other contingencies.
Tyro Vestara Khai had gone from loving her reflection, to disliking it when the beast took a piece of her face in its claw, and from disliking it to hating it. The moment Jason Solo decided to turn the course of fates sent a ripple through the Force that only one felt. The Tyro fell to her knees and vomited at the power of it; to the concern and disgust of Tyro Raas who escorted her home. The mystery illness lasted four days. The physicians were certain she would die, they were dismissed immediately when the girl in question exited her room to ask who was dying.
The sickness was not a sickness, but only she knew that, only she could. The others could never know the monster she became, the monster she was. Reflections were the crack in her masterful illusion. No matter how hard she tried, she could not stop it from dissolving under scrutiny. Instead she warded it, making it unnaturally uncomfortable, making others want to look at something else. None could explain this phenomena, none would admit their discomfort, pride was her ally. Her power increased rapidly, too rapidly, the Tyro exercises were no longer challenging and there was only danger for one who became a threat too early. She clamped down on her powers perhaps even stunting her climb of rank, it did not matter. No one could know.—She felt an inexplicable kinship to Aboloth. She’d only just met the woman, it didn’t make sense. But as the days numbered, Vestara no longer wanted to leave this unnatural world. The plants were easy to control, though she only did so when alone or within Aboloth’s bubble. The peace she felt was unparalleled to anything she’d ever experienced.
Vestara would climb the volcano that housed their cave-homes. Despite desperately missing the flight Tikk could add to it, the wind whipped through her hair and she felt free. Aboloth’s feelings were mirrored as the below-creature entered the waters.
—When Rhea sank beneath the waves, Vestara followed, but she never touched the vines. Instead her ordered them back with a thought, and after a moment of conflicting orders the plants obeyed the closer of the two. Instead of feeling disgusted at Aboloth’s true form, she felt hope.
Only when she confronted the monster of the maw, she was met with a creature whose only regret about the encounter was that she’d “attempted to take what was not hers” the implication that Vestara held some sort of possession over the Sith angered her enough to free Rhea and the others from the enchantment. —More in tomorrow’s rb of this post, I wasn’t expecting my family to decide to paint the house so I’m a bit winded.
