heyyyy so this is sort of kind of low-key a little bit of a continuation on beloved butch abby, the premise of the au and personality is the same. i got a request asking for more and i was thinking about this anyways and thought they worked well together

ೃ༄ abby is (unfortunately) a retired soldier, she's got a kid to look after, she runs a cafe downtown and she's got two dogs. all at like, 22. did we really think she has the time to go online for anything more than 🔍 thirty minute dinner recipes your vegan teenager isn't going to kill you over

ೃ༄ just kidding. she doesn't mind lev trying out new things lol. he is her whole fucking world, she's more than happy to spend time with him cooking something he remembers from home, giving each other grossed out faces when they fuck up the tofu again, and giving up and going to target 15 minutes before close to piece together some random junk food.

Manny will come over and cook with them sometimes, and that's always a fun time. he's got abby drunk before nine and she's just a laughing mess.

ೃ༄ she just loves being around Manny in general. they meet up for lunch a lot, go on runs together in the morning, work on each other's trucks, etc.,

now that she's living a normal life, she's able to take a serious Spanish class, and he's very supportive about it.

ೃ༄ definitely takes the dogs into the cafe with her. whenever someone complains about the pandora radio she puts on, she blames it on the dogs.

ೃ༄ she's such a planner. she's got a huge chalkboard in the kitchen for the week and the month with both of their schedules drawn on it down to the hour if needed. hers is written in orange and lev's is written in green.

only watches tv once a week, and it's for a designated show that's so laid back, like the great British baking show.

ೃ༄ she's definitely the type to limit screen time, and lev himself isn't like partial to brain rot, but sometimes he says something that has her turning around like what did you just say eyes wide and everything

lev tells her to touch grass one day and she goes on a hike

ೃ༄ her favorite evening activities are taking the dogs on a sunset walk with lev, and then when lev's gone up to his room for the night, she will pack him like a little bento-type lunch. she'll cozy up in her lazy boy by the fireplace with Alice at her feet and journal away, sometimes until she falls asleep.

she's got BUCKETS of journals. it started in therapy after her dad passed, as like a coping mechanism to at least attempt to correct her thought processes, and it's always stuck. it's always made her feel like she's putting herself in order again.

after therapy, i feel like abby spent a lot of time thinking about religion. she never really found anything that clicks, but she reads a lot about buddhism and really appreciates the perspective.

ೃ༄ definitely has a weird phone setup going on. she's either got a really old like iPhone 7 with maybe 6 apps on it or one of those CAT flip phones lol. can you imagine flip phone selfies from her

ೃ༄ writes her grocery lists on a little piece of yellow paper that she'll tuck into her front pocket. carries specifically one of those bic ballpoint pens, has like 5 year old reusable grocery bags and a keychain for her Aldi quarter that she thinks is so clever and fun.

she definitely uses one of her favorite coins from her collection as her Aldi quarter.

ೃ༄ gets the paper delivered to her house. she prefers to read it that way, but she pays for lev to get a digital subscription to his kindle or something

ೃ༄ keeps her dads beat up, decaying quilt as a topper for her bed. she folds it up neatly every night and sets it in a rocking chair in the corner of her room, just to preserve it a little longer.

ೃ༄ knows how to get throughout almost the entire west coast without a map or gps or anything

ೃ༄ reading is HUGE in her house. lev's reading log was NEVER forged not once. she spent a whole summer building ceiling to floor bookshelves with a gorgeous trim and a mahogany stain. she loves to swing by the used bookstore after work every once in a while, the one where she can get a book for 25 cents or a big bag of them for two bucks.

every birthday, lev gives her a bag of books, and he always puts one in that he loves but isn't sure she will like. it's usually not her style, but she likes learning more about his interests and she thinks they're always very sweet books.

always secretly surprises lev with little books with transmasc characters or about real trans people. she will just leave them on his desk in their shared office or something with a little sticky note with a heart on it

ೃ༄ makes friends with the lanky manager of the record store with a weird fucked up tattoo when she's looking for more cassettes for her beat up truck.

"dude, you're the only person who has looked through this crate in like, six months. you can just take what you want."

ೃ༄ speaking of girlfriends, I feel like abby really goes for opposites attract. she's so mild in appearance, that she loves someone that's a little over the top. maybe a little frilly, or adds odd little details to their outfits. she loves funky hairstyles and creativity in women.

ೃ༄ she loves making her own coffee. working at the cafe wasn't just convenience for her, abby loves the slowness of it. she loves packing the espresso, she loves checking on her sourdough every morning, she loved crafting her own tea blends. she definitely has a beat up metal French press, but she probably invests in her own espresso machine to keep at home too.

ೃ༄ i feel like eventually abby would coach for a sports team at lev's school. maybe he joined gymnastics or like, made the soccer team, and abby's packing-coolers-full-for-the-team and carpooling and excessive volunteering eventually takes her to leading after school drills and a best coach ever mug for the middle school boys soccer team lol.

I mean, he started a bar fight with a fucking chair, and he fights in street fighting rings, let's be real for a second.🚩 - He's incredibly quiet and reserved a lot of the time, and sometimes you just assume that he's listening to you when you talk, but a lot of the time, he's lost in his own thoughts. - Will do everything anyone asks him to at the expense of his own free time and energy, and sometimes he works himself to exhaustion just to try and please everyone.🚩 - In doing so, he sometimes doesn't have time for himself at the end of the day. It also seems like you spend time together less and less as the days go on. - If he ever got himself hurt and you tried to help him, he'd decline any help with anything to save his own pride. Not necessarily a bad thing, but she can sometimes be super overbearing.

Harvey:

You thoughy he worried avout your health BEFORE you got together, oh boy oh boy. He's alaays asking how you feel, bringing you snacks amd water while you work the farm. He cleans you up after the mines (while he lectures you about the dangers). He likes the domestic moments. The days it rains and you stay inside together with warm cups of coffee, snuggled up in the bed. Hes a classica kind of guy. He leaves roses on the table and brings you breakfast in bed. Since hes a doctor, you're both awake early. Every morning is filled with sleepy kisses and coffee. He never leaves the house without a kiss and a 'see you later'.

Shane:

This man is ANXIOUS. Hes a bundle of self doubt and insecurity. He spends his hours thinking how great you are and how itd a matter of time until you leave him. Reassure him, please. He absolutely loves every minute you're with him. Hes acrually a surprisingly good cook. He also is so good with kids. He definitely wants kids after seeing you with Jas. Hes not big on saying how he feels, but he's working on it. Instead he helps out here and there, feeding the chickens (he actually loves doing that), cleaning the house, cooking a meal when you get home late. Little touches when you're alone. His leg agaisnt yours, his hand gently in your hair while you sleep. He loves you more than anything (except the chickens. Knoe your place.)

Elliot:

He is down SO BAD. Carries a picture of the two of you everywhere. He shows you off whenever he has the chance. Hes just so proud of his sweetheart. He cooks well, but he hates cooking so you two agree to split the chores. You're his muse ans you best believe he makes it known. He leaves you poems; post-it notes on the mirror, on a napkin on the counter, written on the bavk of th grocery list, a torn out notebook page in your coat pocket. He loves when you do his hair. If you don't know how, he teaches you. On slow days on the farm, you leave the front door open for some air and you can hear him playing piano.

Alex:

His love language is tackling you (physical touch). You walk through the door and hes hugging you, kissing your cheeks, picking you up and taking you to bed. He can't cook, but he can bake. Evelyn taught him and he treasures the skill. For every anniversary, no matter how small, he makes a treat. He loves helping you around the farm because its an excuse to walk around shirtless and flex for you. He also has a weirdly green thumb. The crops wont sprout and the season is almost over? Send Alex to water them. The next moening you have a bounty like no other.

Sam:

He has ADHD so he does that peguin pebbling thing where he finds random objects and brings them to you because 'this reminded me of you.' He can't cook. For the love of yoba don't let him cook unless you want to remodel your kitchen. He still tries to be sweet though. Hes not a morning person, but when you wake up early he stumbled put of bed, hair messy, eyes closed and follows you like a sad puppy. Hes so clingy. Like SO clingy. Personal space. Gone. He talks to you through the bathroom door, holds you while you sleep, wants to be next to you all the time. He also loves your animals, especially the chickens. He has one favorite, but he won't say it (he might hurt the others feelings). Sometimes you come back from town and hes sitting outside on the porch talking to the chickens, who look strangely invested.

Sebastian:

He loves you so much, but he hates that everyone KNOWS he loves you. You gush about the sweet things he does to your friends and he goes bright red in the ears. The townsfolk ask about you so he tries to avoid having to talk to them. When you're alone though, he's the total opposite. Hes quiet, sure, but he does whatever he can to help you out. A kiss on your cheek before he goes to water the crops for you. Makes you a cup of coffee after work. When he was little, robin taught him how to carve and widdle. He makes you cute wooden figures, usually modeled after your animals. He takes you to the city for weekend date nights. He asks you to go on rides just to feel your arms around him.

Leah:

She treats you like the most beautiful painting shes ever layed her eyes on. When you're sitting with her on the beach, she'll paint dancing swirls up your arms to your hands. (Maybe you get it tattooed one day and she cries). All the paintings in your house are made by her. Much like Elliott, youre her muse. She makes you sit so she can paint you or practice sketching. But she can never get enough of you. When you lay together, she meticulously traces the shapes of your body. Your hands, your nose, your hips. Everything about you is perfect to her.

Emily:

She's a free, creative person. She wakes you up late at night to look at the stars and dance by the river. Shes been making a quilt out of scrap fabric for your bed. She tries to tesch you how to sew it so you cam be a part of it. She helps you with the crops and picks fresh vegetables when theh grow so she can make you beautiful dinners. She loves to cook for you because you always have something good to say about it. She could be on food network, you swear it. Every day when she gets ready, right after putting on her lipstick, she kisses your cheek to leave a little mark. You leave it there while you do your chores.

Penny:

Penny is naturally an early bird. She wakes up each morning with you. You two share a few minutes of quiet before stsrting coffee. You take turns making breakfast. Penny is so used to keeping the house up by herself after living with Pam, so being with you is a breath of fresh air. But she still likes to help you out. So before going to teach the kids, she helps out in the garden. You pass by in town while shes walking the kids home. You join them on their walk and Jas starts asking you for that princess story again. As you tell it, you see Penny's cheeks go pink. Its only the story of how you met. But to you it felt like a fairy tale. You walk home with your wife every day, sharing stories of your day while settling down on the porch.

Abigail:

Shes high energy. She heard about it, she wants to try it. Take her to the city to a nigt club and she'll dance circles with you all night. She makes you matching bracelets and you never dare to take it off. When you go down to the mines, she wants to come with. She doesn't fear them, but that scares you. You have to convince her to stay with the farm every time. But you always bring her a beautiful gemstone back. You think the amythest brings out her eyes. Shes a decent cook, actually. Contrary to what Sam and Sebastion may say. Her recipes are odd, but somehow, they always work out. Shes not a morning person, she won't get up even if you shake her. But somehow she knows if you forget to give her a kiss on your way out the door.

Haley:

She takes a million pictures of you. She loves to. You hide your face, she tells you how much she likes your smile. You're working on the farm and hear the shutter click. She likes the ways your arms look when you roll up your sleeves. After a long day in town, you bring her flowers. Shes always waiting up for you. She likes to slow dance in the living room and hear about your adventures from the day. She tells Alex about how great you are. Everytime you walk by and catch her off gaurd, she fixes her hair so she 'looks nice'. You just kiss her and tell her she looks nice all the time.

Maru:

She loves to help you out on thr farm. Just not... conventionally. She is her father's daughter, so shes always making you new inventions to make the farm run smoother. Better fertilizer, fresh feed thst produces better eggs, though she was banned from tending the animald after one of her feeds turned your chickens eggs bright pink. She loves to walk around town with you, always with your hand in hers. She's not a cook, but she still tries to learn from you. Shes learning, but she mostly just likes getting to be near you while you cook.

This is a random thought. Was playing sdv and found Sam's Christmas shopping list. I noticed that Abigail wasn't on the list.

So I have a headcanon that abigail and sam don't actually like each other and that the only reasons they even hang out is between being best friends with sebastian and their mothers are besties too.

I imagine sam and Abigail to have a Tuck and Ming Ming type relationship and Sebastian is Lenny. (If you know who I'm talking about kudos to you, shout out to multimedia animation)

It kind of makes sense I kind of feel that abigail kind of forces herself on Sebastian and it kind of at times makes him feel even more trapped at Pelican town. Meanwhile Sam is a ball of sunshine who's super extroverted and, as a fellow introvert that can get extremely tiring, but Sam also seems to be the type to know when to stop pushing.

When I first saw Abigail and Sebastian, I thought oh yeah that makes sense. But the more I see how much she's near her house and got her heart events, albeit unintentionally, I started wondering if she was using seb a bit.

What if Abigail is using sebastian as an out. Imagine if you will...

Abigail wants freedom same as sebastian. But Abigail is more daring and doesn't know when to stop pushing. Abigail would a 100% date the new farmer and/or Sebastian just to piss off her father. She's wild because she knows it pisses her father off. Don't get me wrong Abigail I have a like/hate for her. She sets me off and not in a good way. When I dated her in a save I felt used, like I get you want to do the same things as me but are you actually prepared for that type of thing?

Do you really want to leave pelican town and find a better life for yourself or do you just want Pierre to get off your back so you can have breathing room to do as you please?

Sebastian just wants to feel more appreciated and wants people to see that he really is just introverted and not emo or goth. He's not trying to rebel he just wants to feel heard and listened to.

Sam is actually a good listener which is why Sebastian doesn't mind being around him. He knows that if he asks Sam to stop pushing, he will. They hang out a lot more together without abigail and I feel like abigail kind of forced her way into the group.

Something tells me Sam and Sebastian had been best friends for a while and maybe Penny was apart of they're group. Sebastian never seems to mind Penny and Sam obviously likes her. I imagine that Sam was so used to having 2 introverted friends and being the one to lightly push them out of their shell but respecting when they aren't comfortable and letting it go.

People Sam is childish and I definitely get that but he does genuinely care and when the situation comes to it he will step up to the plate. He's spoiled but not stupid or rotten.

The last few headcannon posts have been about SDVE (Stardew Valley Expanded) so I wanted to get back to the vanilla version of the game.

SDV bachelors/bachelorettes and the likelihood of them dancing with you.

Batchelors first!~ Elliott: This man LOVES to dance, especially if it's with you. He'll put on fancy music on a gramophone or other older tech. He'd love to sweep you off your feet and take charge and dance the night away. He likes to be close to you when he's dancing. The closer the better, for your chests to touch, one hand on your side, the other holding your hand and staring into your eyes. He 100% sounds like the type to dip someone while dancing.

Sebastian: I'm a bit torn on this one. I know he dances in the Flower Festival every year but idk if he enjoys it 100%. Like it's kind of an expectation type thing so he's like "Ughhh alright". He always dances with Abigail unless you ask him but if he didn't dance with someone he knew he would be having even less of a good time than he already was. But just dancing with you alone, Idk if he'd be into it. Just sitting next to you watching a movie or playing a video game sounds a whole lot more fun to him.

Sam: I feel like there's a type of music he'd like to dance more than others. Like rock or something, definitely not classical or slow music. If he did want to dance he'd want some high-energy music. Something fun to dance to. The kind that'd make you two a little tired by the time the song ended. Or at the end, you two would just fall onto his/ your bed laughing and a little out of breath. Harvey: Harvey sounds like the kind of guy to dance sometimes. He'd play music on a radio or his phone and hold his hand out all gentlemanly like and you to dance. I feel like he'd have to work up the courage to ask you just a bit. He'd have slow music on and dance slowly. You two being close and looking into each other's eyes. I bet he'd really like it if you rested your head on his chest and you two just danced slowly.

Shane: Not sure if he's a dancer either. He does dance at the flower festival, but otherwise, I'm not sure he'd want to. You might have to be the one to initiate it. He'd probably be too nervous or thoughts of how you might think it's dumb or not want to do it. That alone would make him nervous and shy away from the idea. He does like being near you. So maybe if you catch him in the right mood, when he's at his happiest he'd dance with you.

Alex: Again, not sure if he'd be a dancer. He might ask sometimes, nervous and a bit red-faced like at the flower festival. Or maybe at home. At first, he'd take the lead but also be kind of worried that he might step on your feet by accident. Not the most graceful at first but he's trying his best.

Harvey: I feel like he'd be into dancing, especially if it was with you. He seems the kind of guy do dance slow, to jazz or some nice piano music. He'd have it on the radio or maybe a cd player. (he also might have a gramophone like Elliott.)He'd invite you over one day (or maybe you stop by the clinic) and he'd be a bit nervous, you'd ask what's up and he'd ask you to go upstairs and dance with him. He'd make sure to lock up the clinic before going upstairs in his room to dance with you. Not really a high energy dancer, likes a good slow dance. Probably rehearsed it by himself or watched some videos online so he could do it correctly and doesn't step on your feet by accident.

Bachelorettes!:

Emily: 100% loves to dance and dance with you too. Her dancing style is definitely different and also high energy similar to sam. If she did dance with you she'd turn on some music and either hold out a hand for you or pull you into a dance. She'd smiling and happy the whole time.

Haley: Likes to dance too but not as much as her sister Emily. I feel like she'd have to be in a dancing mood too. I also feel like she likes to dance to music, in her room or (maybe) in her photography/dark room. LOVES dancing at the flower festival, as anyone has seen if you go to the flower festival. She seems like the kind of person to wrap her arm around your neck and if you both just slow dance and enjoy the moment.

Abigail: Also not sure if she's a dancer, you might have to pull her into a dance. I feel like she'd like more high-energy music like Sam. She might try and turn it into a competition. But it'd end with you two just having a lot of fun.

Penny: Slow dancer definitely, like jazzy music, enjoys dancing calmly with you. She does go to the flower festival but prefers dancing with you alone. More at your house than the trailer she shares with her mom. Your house is definitely more private and also a lot bigger.

Leah: Definitely could enjoy dancing. I feel like she could dance to slightly fast or slow music, more on the side of slow. I bet that she'd dance while making art, like letting the music help her creativity flow. If she'd really getting into art she might invite you to join her in dancing. Just getting really excited about being able to express what she is feeling with you.

Maru: I'm not sure how much of a dancer Maru is but if she did dance with you it'd be more slow music and less fast music. She also, like all the Bachelors and Bachelorettes, dances in the flower festival. But also if you two did dance outside the festival she'd want it to be more of a private thing. Like in her room or maybe in the room where she keeps her secret projects in. Just a nice place for you two to be together and enjoy the moment.

Abigail:

Her time as a prostitute. A little iffy about that. Especially in front of her kid. The kid doesnt need to know about that kind of adult stuff and hardship. Just a mention of anything roughly related, like about her 'body count', kind of gives her a certain ick. When uncomfortable, she does her best to admit her feelings but if no one cuts it out, she might just get a little more assertive about it.

Mary-Beth:

Sexist conversations where women are repressed and men are considered top line. [Sadie also hates this] It bugs her a lot more when it's relating to her work as an author. Only men can write novels? That isnt true to her. Though, when she's uncomfortable she's quiet for the most part. Occasionally she'll voice her opinion and discomfort but she often gets mocked.

Sadie:

Shares the same topic as Mary-Beth but will absolutely not be affraid to put a man in his place. When she sees others feeling uncomfortable she will get defensive for them, telling the instigators to shut the hell up.

Also gets a bit uncomfortable when someone brings up her dead husband. Specifically those she doesnt know. She's quickly defensive and wanting to know why they're so nosey.

Tilly:

Another person who doest like talking about her past. Gets a bit snappy when people pry. It's none of their business what she went through or what she did. And if you keep prying, you'll find out but it wont be in a nice way.

Also hates sexism and racism. That gets her all worked up.

Tbh I think that Sebastian's favorite DnD class is warlock....He loves to play as a Warlock

And my Farmer Franco Loves to play as a Druid but he always plays as Cleric so the party can survive (Because Sam, The fighter/Barbarian, takes the worst Decisions every Session and the party ends up fighting every monster)

Abigail Probably Plays as a Rogue...Or maybe a Paladin? I dont really sure, but I see her playing as Rogue because she thinks they're cool

I feel like Ophelia from Brütal Legend and Abigail from Metalocalypse would potentially get along really well if they met outside of their universes. Like Abigail would totally give Ophelia advice on relationships and they could just have general girl talk with each other. Plus they’ve both been traumatized in some way.

so I’ve always loved the headcannon Abigail is the wizards daughter but Caroline says she dyed her hair… so work around … Abigail is the wizards daughter but she inherited Caroline’s hair. She dyes her hair purple because she knows she’s the wizards daughter and she wants to feel connected to him.
