Sev, after being left on Kashyyyk, gets yeeted into Visions, sees all the children in need of help, and has his Mandalorian "adopt-anything-left-unattended-for-fifteen-minutes" instincts go into overdrive.

Jedi Padawan fleeing Order 66? M-I-N-E.

Twins made from the dark side? Don't care, sign the adoption papers.

Force-sensitive droid? He's joining the family.

Rabbit girl with a dysfunctional relationship with her sister? Prepare to be adopted a second time.

Children being forced to work in a factory, with one being grabbed with a creepy Sith lady? Shoot the Dark-sider and grab the kids.

Twi'lek girl -- Oh wait, she does have a mother. Now she also has a scary uncle.

Boy and his sister fleeing the Empire? His, now.

Girl working in a pit? The adoption papers are coming out.

Bird girl who likes singing? She now has two dads.

When Sev returns, it's less a tearful reunion and more him stomping up and going "Here, babysit."

dude i'm working aau tournaments this summer doing shot-clock and score book and it just makes me miss wcbb dude, like genuinely. i love the w, and i'm watching the finals for luka, but LIKEEEEEE the moment i get my college hoopers back i am going to be GNAWING at my enclosure.

do you mess with aau? as someone who played it for over five years (i think i played seven? in total?) it's NOT for the faint of heart. i always joke that because of… certain things they do on the court (the sass usually) you can easily tell cc and madison played aau

yeah after the nba, the women’s college game is my bread and butter it’s so underrated and i’ve loved it for so long, i’m just glad it’s finally getting the attention it deserves

i never played basketball myself tbh so i don’t really have an opinion on aau, but i played club volleyball for a lot of my life and we are bitchyyyyy as hell so i feel you on the sass

but i have siblings who play aau basketball so i’m pretty accustomed to it (a lot of driving, flying, early mornings, etc.) , i always appreciate a good aau sprinkling in mixtapes too because those kids be going AT it

The idea of the cutest, most innocent Jedi younglings ending up being protected and looked after by Sev, who has Been Going Through It, is darkly hilarious.

Kai, Lys, Nubs, and Nash: We're learning important lessons about friendship and having adventures! 🥰

Sev: I love the smell of burning flesh in the morning.

Jon, Toko, and Bree: We're learning to overcome our fears with Master Yoda and Burryaga!

Aau and T0-B1: We're going to become great Jedi and help others and make our father(figure)s proud!

Sev: If anything happens to any of the kids, they'll be finding parts of you for four months...and you'll be alive for three of them.

*Jon, Toko, and Bree are from a young readers' book called The High Republic: Jedi Brave in Every Way. It's aimed toward the same demographic as Young Jedi Adventures and it's cute. Not for everyone, considering it's for preschoolers, but it's a nice companion to the TV series.

This particular part in chapter three is so so funny to me <says this as if the scene isn’t gonna be played completely straight and serious when it happens

just watched the newest season of star wars: visions and I have so many thoughts, but especially about the last episode!

Aau's Song was an amazing episode and I would honestly watch 10+ seasons of Aau and her journeys, especially with this stop motion style.

I love the idea of her being able to sing to and harmonize with kyber crystals, and the fact that she can restore corrupted kyber with just her voice is just so !!!! I'm speechless

Aau also just seems like such an interesting character. she's clearly faced problems in the past due to her abilities but is still filled with wonder and curiosity around what she can do. and with what she can already do completely untrained, I'm curious to see what she could accomplish as a fully trained jedi please star wars give me more Aau

it's already 3am so I'm too tired for more complex thoughts, but I just have so many about Aau and the other episodes this season so I might write some more later!
