I was replaying the Twilight princess game and I was observing the Links house and I noticed some details like this kind of napkin of the goats and I think its so cute. I was looking over the internet to see If anyone have the pattern to make a cross stitch and NOBODY even has like screenshots or something and that its so sad, so I thought to remake the design in high quality so here is it.

Throwing my Dark World form headcanons in the ring:

Hyrule: A rat. He’s a survivor, adaptable, can be soft and cute or rugged and feral, plus he’s still kinda on scale with Legend

Time: As much as I want him to be a monkey (like the ones from Majora’s Mask!) I feel like the gold wolf is effectively canon soooo can go either way. The monkey reflects his adventures, is playful and dexterous and how he looks out for his little troupe (that IS his circus and those ARE his monkeys), but the wolf ties him to Twilight. So yeah.

Legend: Sorry dude you’re a bunny and you’re adorable. (I wish you could be a hedgehog. But canon.)

Twilight: Sorry dude you’re a wolf and you’re also adorable.

Wind: I will die on the hill of Wind being a seagull. And also wanting so bad to fly that he has to basically be restrained (mostly by Sky) lest he try to dive-bomb monsters.

Four: A beetle! A shiny one with a multi-colored shell that reflects the four colors. Added bonus if Four is one type of beetle and the Colors are all slightly different ones (Red as a firefly y’all. Are you seeing the vision??)

Warriors: Warhorse all the way. Twilight is SO jealous. They all kinda are. In honor of something that actually happened to me with my BotW horse, he can, will, and HAS chased and trampled a Yiga trying to get the jump on the others.

Sky: Canadian Goose. A good flyer but also can be cute and cuddly or TERRIFYING depending on the mood. It’s a beautiful day and you are a sleepy godslayer—

Wild: A stag. I have a special love for the deer in BotW and rode them often because it was more fun than walking. Wild’s horns would be broken on the side with the scars.

I just realized something.

In BDPT2, Jasper arranges for J. Jenks to make fake passports for Jacob and Renesemee so that they could run away if the confrontation with the Volturi went south... but they bring both Jake and Renesemee to the clearing...

Demetri is *right there*.

He tracks the tenor of someone's mind. He now has both of their tenors, so running would be no use, and it was simply a waste of Jalice's time AND J. Jenks' time to do all of that.

On top of that, Demetri doesn't even need to meet the object of his tracking; he just needs to have interacted with someone who has interacted, no matter how briefly, with his trackee.

Even if they *didn't* bring Jacob and Renesemee to the clearing, Bella, Edward, the entire Cullen clan, AND all of the witnesses now bear Renesemee's and Jacob's tenor within their own. So again - a waste of time and a futile effort at best.

some notes: 1. xu da's blade here is the dadao, or the big sabre. i swear this isn't a pun, it's different da characters. 2. the background is refencing a specific early 13th century painting, ma yuan's 'scholar viewing a waterfall'. (go look at the original, zoomed in, at the met museum site). 3. the abacus and the suanpan coexisted historically across the world from each other, but if one inspired the other is unclear (according to my shoddy research)

fun facts i learnt while mapping this out:

1. this house has a skylight ! and its not even half covered by branches and leaves. this man's house is RUINED every time it rains

2. he has a wrap and sash/obi hanging on a decorative line that are in the same pattern and fabric as colin's ! so either colin keeps his spare (duplicate..) clothes in link's house, or link has a matching outfit

3. link has one mirror in his house, and it's in a corner in the basement (B1), and your reflection can only be seen when you're carrying a lamp and walking directly up to it (that's very out of the way for a mirror...)

4. the wall mount on F1 holds a big pitchfork, and what seems to be a whip wrapped around it

this was super fun and took way too many braincells out of me lol
