I saw someone post something saying "don't believe everything you see on social media. A lot of people are faking." That's true and because my job is to inspire, educate and entertain...here's the truth: 💪🏿I've led a blessed and maybe highly favored life. I've busted my ass to sustain it and be more than just good. I've given up all that was good just to start over in hopes of achieving an ounce of greatness. ‎ 💯I've missed weddings. Today on @Kiss104.1fm I discussed that with all the surprises, twist and turns of the Academy Awards…The Oscar’s, last night, reminded me of the Source Awards but not as hood. LOL. 1. I discovered that beautiful Robin Roberts has “junk-in-the-trunk”. She looked amazing in her dress. 2. You Had Gary from Chicago, my home-boi, had a bootleg wedding. LOL. 3. There was the Nate Parker vs. Cassie Affleck controversy and 4. Billy Crystal said it best: what a great way to end the night (Oscars). Wish the election had ended that way. But the biggest thing I discussed:  The amazing Viola Davis and while some thought her speech was AMAZING, I went to the streets and I am going to tell  why some people were offended. Today is my bday and I thought about the 13 things I learned or was reminded of this year. See below: 1. Just because you're good at it doesn't mean you should do it. Walk in your (Gods) purpose. 2. Misery loves company and recruits others to join them every single day. Stay positive @ all cost and don’t join the misery group. 3. Drink plenty of water, eat right. 4. Let me contradict myself: drink red wine, cognac, whiskey to make life fun…in moderation some of it is actually healthy. 5. Faith + Commitment is all that matters…passion is irrelevant without these two. Passion alone is simply false enthusiasm. 6.  Friendship Is truly essential to the soul. Only time can truly determine who is, who was and who will be a true friend. 7. Peace of mind is imperative. 8. Never grow up and always ask “Why?" We love kids so much bc they represent innocence and naïvety in a good way. They see things and ask why? Vs accepting what society says should be 9. Never chase a check, love or anything that is suppose to come to you organically. You risk the chance of losing YOU 10. Have great sex, if you’re not, you’re probably part of the misery group as stated in #2 11. Happiness requires constant work, growth and exploration. Misery requires noting. 12. Be Humble! 13. I feel everyone needs to hear/watch this! This is the 3rd episode in my "AaronVs__" series. This time it's "AaronVsPurpose".

I re-committed to being uncomfortable, this year, bc that's how one grows!  So I bought a camera two months ago and teaching myself to shoot, edit. It's amazing how things come together when one continues to walk in their purpose.

This episode was inspired by "One Strange Rock" on Netflix hosted by Will Smith. It'll make sense when you watch it. “It is mental slavery to cling to things that have stopped serving it’s purpose in your life.” said Chinoye Chidolue.  

The second episode  AaronVsTheKids   I went one-on-one with 5th graders and first episode AaronVsEntrepreneurship to (re) defining and dispelling the myth of Entrepreneurship.
