Short Ghostf**kers first impressions

-I say this as a Moxxie fan.....it is cool to see Millie go on a job without him. I think it helps her character, and will silence more of her haters. I've always said this about Millie - she's not flat, she just needs more focus episodes. Here's another one. Thank goooooood.

-Millie and Blitzo's backstory is surprisingly heartwarming? Here I thought that it'd just end at "I like your spunk", but the fact that he taught her to be more than she thought she was capable of.....it's really sweet. I never knew that about Millie, that she used to think so lowly of herself, but seeing how imps tend to be treated outside of Wrath, it makes SENSE, and.....It really goes to show how I.M.P being an imp-run business in Pride is so unusual! The fact that Millie met Moxxie through Blitzo is extra sweet. Aaaaaand, admittedly, it does also explain more why he tends to, uh.....n-not take their romance very well. He met them before they hooked up. Then they hooked up...while working for him.....Yyyyyyeah, knowing Blitzo, he probably had some feelings about that....

-The fact that Moxxie fell first and probably simped for a while is adorable, and it's just another way I relate to him. XD We both love powerful women

-F for the "Millie was Loona's babysitter" headcanons, tho.

-Now we have the full "first meeting with Blitzo" flashback collection! Yaaaayyyy! Gotta catch 'em all!

-Ghosts being really "infestor demons" is....interesting worldbuilding? But....why are they so much more powerful? All the powers this guy had are CRAZY. Are they only able to be that powerful on Earth? Are they another kind of demon who can freely go to Earth? So many questions.....

-I know it was only played for laughs, but what Blitzo did with M&M's money really bothered me and I hope he fixes that, cuz....yeah, no. Thankfully, he makes up for that in the same scene where he flat-out admits that he and Stolas were never really......dating. He's not in denial about things, which is good.

-That scene with Tilla huuuuurt! Why is THAT how we first see her face!? Uggggghhhhh!!

-I WOULD be annoyed at Blitzo in the first half of the episode, but wanting to go out and have fun after what he's been through....I-I mean, it's understandable, right? I don't think either he or Millie are at fault here. Good conflict.

-I like Millie's role as the "straight woman" of I.M.P as the one who's got her crap together and doesn't have any trauma, but adding this new layer of "grew up thinking she wouldn't amount to much" is a pretty good way of giving her another dimension. Again, I already liked her before. XD

-Millie having trust in Blitzo and not believing the infestor's (don't remember his name) words, then punching him saying "Blitzo can take this" is freaking AWESOME, she's so cool

-Heck yeah with Blitzo implying he's done stalking M&M, and heck yeah to him learning the importance of platonic friendships!! Now Stolas has to learn the same thing.....Stolas has never had the CHANCE to have real friends....Having friends to talk to can really help you, and he's been denied that cuz of his lifestyle, which is why he comes across as unintentionally insensitive sometimes and why he hates himself and uggghhhh, hug the bird, hug the bird but also knock a lil bit of sense into him first cuz both sides need it but HUG THE BIRD

-Didn't really laugh all that much. The humor in this episode was too over-the-top and most of it was just one joke (wanting to be screwed by a ghost) that I didn't really find that funny. I DID, however, laugh at the Scooby Doo door chase parody. XD

-Oh, and the songs were.....there, I guess

-Overall, a good and VERY NEEDED episode, 8/10, Apology Tour was better tho

There are three things in the next room, all labeled "Hellfire Watcher." I'm not sure if these are what Toobin was talking about.

The room is also lined with a great deal of the same pulsating flesh material that marked the oubliette at Moonrise.

In the back of the room is a large steel sphere that I suspect is our target, as its lined with both mechanical cabling and fleshy nerve lines, and is connected to something labeled "Neural Switchboard". I'm guessing this is the control mechanism for all of the Watchers in the city.

Quite scared of this fight but there's no way out but through. XD

Aaaaaand as soon as the fight started, the platform in the center of the area lifted up and revealed...

My opening strategy was the brute force that Team Juggernaut is very good at, and our team are such forces of nature at this point that we got the titan below half health before it was able to get a shot off.

I also opened with putting having Jaheira toss both Freedom of Movement and Shield of Faith on Hector before going owlbear, since the most scary thing about the Watchers is not actually their damage but their crowd control and Hector is the squishiest of the group.

At this point the fight's Exciting Gimmicks kicked in:

OK, that all seems... fine. O.O;

Investigating the various status effects, we learn that Hellfire Curse has given everyone disadvantage on STR/DEX/CON saves, and Defensive Protocol: Bulwark makes the Titan "Unyielding" (ignores attacks under 15 damage) and gives it access to "Repair Matrix" (a self-heal), "Repelling Protocol" (a damaging knockback), and "Hellfire Missiles", which it just used, which is an AOE attack that does...

...ahem...

96-576 DAMAGE.

OK, let's get everyone out of that fucking red circle RIGHT NOW. The bright side here is that while bulwarked it doesn't seem to take opportunity attacks, meaning we can all scatter like the terrified rabbits that we are.

I had Jaheira summon a dryad to get some more bodies on the field and it was IMMEDIATELY, like literally instantly, completely obliterated by one of the Hellfire Watchers. So that's a fourth level spell slot wasted.

Interestingly, the hellfire missiles never actually went off; I had Hector do a full round of attacks on it with the intention of booking it after he was out of actions/bonus actions - but it just stopped and came out of Bulwark during his last hit. I'm actually not at all clear what happened here, even looking at the combat log; it seems like Hector might have staggered it, but also maybe it just dropped it after taking a certain amount of damage? Unclear.

Regardless, it meant that Minsc was able to finish it off before it could make another attack! Jaheira (whose background is Soldier! I hadn't realized!) got an inspiration for this:

This is hardly the first one we've destroyed so I'm not sure why she only got this now. :P

It didn't explode when it died, either, which was a nice change.

It's carrying, for some reason, a legendary level bow which looks dope as shit:

The fight unfortunately did not stop being scary at this point because there were still three Steel Watchers on the field. But we're starting to get fairly practiced at dealing with them and are also bolstered by the fact that these are probably the last ones we'll have to fight, thank the gods. Tossed Jaheira into owlbear form and let her smack the shit out of one of them which was very satisfying.

In the end, I managed to time it out so all three were in detonation phase at the same time and went off one right after the other. Let's fucking goooooooo!

Neither have lasted ^^; I have tried writing Rouge the bat but I guess I wasn't clicking with her as I thought I would.

Tumblr Plays Pokemon White 2 - Part 8

((So i actually had to go back and fight a bunch of trainers to get money for more pokeballs to try and catch pokemon with.))

Well hanging out in the lot was a lot of fun but now I think I'll head back down into the sewers and get to the pokemon center. I need to prepare.

Yeah I think he's feeling a little... frustrated. Look its this whole revenge thing, I don't really wanna get into it.

Iris then asks what I'm going to do now, and honestly? While I'm aiming to fight in the gym I think I need to train some first. Get a gas mask, complete a bit more of the pokdedex. Yada yada.

Also I'm actually nearly out of the pokeballs. I've only got, like, four. And three of those I dont wanna use yet.

Guess that means one thing. I gotta fight some trainers for cash.

I start in the sewers. I opt to not use healing items like potions. I'd rather not spend money trying to buy more so instead my team and I are just going to have the train the difficult way by healing at the pokemon center for free. Once we have enough money and balls saved up we can try to fill out more of the pokedex.

Besides I wanna make sure I'm strong enough to beat Burgh and this as good of an excuse as any to train up.

I actually try to avoid most of the wild pokemon, saving up our energy for the trianers.

Turns out one of the trainers I beat is a doctor so i was able to get my pokemon healed up! And immediately after that I found a scientist who gave me a super potion! Dang things are looking up! I found a few items in the sewer I might be able use or sell as well.

Place still reeks though.

Getting curious I choose to check out that gaping hole in the sewers and find myself in a cave system (relic passage) rather than explore further I opt to leave it alone for now and return later.

((I actually completely forgot about Relic passage when making the poll. XD I think I'll include it amongst the potential places to catch mons after we get our eevee encounter once we get enough money for more pokeballs.))

What shall I name him? I mean he was the first pokemon in this whole thing to win, more or less, by a massive landslide. So I feel like I should incorporate that in the name.

I asked my sister what I should name this Eevee and she suggest Pollemachus in reference to him winning the poll. That sounded werid so I was considering Champ but while we were discussing it and even seeing if Pollemachus would fit into the pokemon nickname section (it did not) we wound up coming across the name Pollux. Which apparently means "very sweet" some sources claimed it also meant "crown"? I'm not sure but given this pokemon by a Poll that was absolutely no contest I think it only seems right to give him a name in reference to it.

So after a LOT of debate the little Eevees name became Polux.

And now for the moment of truth.

Oh boy... You know... with him, Rufus, Chrow, Rean, Van and Agnes we will have our hands full in this game. Full of idiots, that is...

You know... even with those two introduced we are still missing out on some Enforcers and some Anguise, I have no idea how in hell they want to wrap all this up in one more arc after the next game. Not to mention that not all Enforcers story are quite finished yet so some of them have to return eventually. So its not like the games can throw in only new ones from now on.

Well, that is a problem for another game I guess. For now, lets focus on the Enforcers and Anguise we have here, as they will certainly give us plenty of stuff to do ^^'

And with that we FINALLY have reached the opening, after roughly around 4 hours or so.

Meaning ths Prologue was slightly shorter then the ones from the first two games.

So at the beginning of every chapter, we get a quick look at a certain Enforcers live stream. Yes, we do have an Influencer among this already wild mix of people.

I honestly don't know why she is hiding her eyes. I mean... its not like its that hard to recognize her if you would see her on the street, even if you do not know how her eyes look ^^'

You get banned from her live stream after watching the video tho. But the experience is so surreal. "Like and Subscribe" ^^' I mean... I started the Trails-Series with Cold Steel, which was already way more modern then Sky was but still I would have never in my wildest dreams imagined that we one day have a freaking Influence in the Trails-Saga...

He just said the jacket has a great ventilation but its supposed to be somewhat bulletproof at the same time? Who came up with that bullshit?

Sometimes I feel sorry for him. Constantly they demand from him to compliment the girls that like him, even tho he tries so hard to be not available. Sure, every girl would like a compliment from the man they like, but in Agnes case especially (but really in any case were he would reject their feelings for one reason or another) I would prefer they would not constantly force him to say something nice to her.

His compliments still really end up mostly practical, but you can see with Agnes reaction that they always hit the spot despite that and I really would prefer for that not to happen, given what's coming.

The last two times I was working with fan-translations I was playing with the SSS-Rank in mind and did almost all side-quests. With the state this translation is in (tho I can not complain so far) I think I will do that with NISA Version this time and only do the necessary stuff and use the Garten for some Grinding to still be strong enough for the fights to come.

Sorry I was slightly irritated at some new information and forgot to take a screenshot but apparently...

This guy managed to get the leading position as General in Mille Mirrage and even managed to overthrow the ones who wanted Cassius in that position and I call that absolute BS! First of all - no I do not like Cassius, BUT who would oppose having the guy who turned the tables in the 100 days war that was specifically chosen by Musse the leader of Mille Mirage as the General for that operation? ALSO we got directly introduced to Cassius in that role in Cold Steel 4 and you would assume with Musse being the one pulling the string we would have gotten the information that some Calvardian General took over in Cassius position, especially with Cassius being there at the night of Promises which was LITERALLY one night before the beginning of the war. What kind of bullshit is that Falcom? I get that right now you want to make Calvard bigger and better and all that stuff but don't change your own freaking information 4 damn games later and hope we wouldn't notice. Even all those years later we are not that dumb!

(Okay! Everyone pause! That could have been an error in translation as a few sentences later the old man said that the man in question was meant to replace Cassius in case he fell in battle, which would lead to the assumption that he was only the vice general and not the actually general. So he didn't take over Cassius position, it was likely meant to say that there was an opposition to Cassius being the leader that wanted that man to be the leader. But the translation was really not sounding like that. I guess to figure out if Falcom really fucked it up this much we have to rely on NISA for giving us the right information - or anyone who played the game already maybe able to clear that up? Maybe I just missread it?)

There was a swallow flying past Van at the end of the opening, which gave us hope for a nice ending, but... as you will see... Falcom was making fun of us as per usual ^^'

There is some foreshadowing in here...

I wonder if I should skip on those so that they won't get boring in the English release... but I feel like I would be missing out on some important things. So I guess we do them anyway.

Yume wants to make a photo album for Agnes birthday which is coming up soon. Knowing what I know... it makes be a bit sad.

Yumes connect-events are always who wholesome ♥

She wants to keep her memories in her heart forever and she saw what happened to Agnes while under some sort of influence. Many people assumed it already and after seeing this I kind of have to agree, it is very likely that Yume is the key to gaining back the lost memories and possibly saving Agnes... and Zemuria as we know it, for that matter.

I thought it was odd that Tausend was back at Verne - tho I appreciate the information he will give me later - and wondered if he was just... you know... forced to take like a break for 6 months or so, like a suspension, but I could have sworn he actually got fired. I guess Falcom was too lazy to replace him and had to paddle back on it. However I think the explanation is okay enough. We find out later that multiple companies have been involved in the Startaker Project by providing parts and it is likely that Tausend was managing all that and getting someone new into the job, especially with the Präsident rushing things was probably too much of a hassle and I think that explanation (or something along the lines of that) is solid enough to be accepted, especially with the characters themselves acknowledging how odd it is.

I love to have Renne with us but I think her family and best friend really miss her, so it is about time for her to return home. I hope she will be with us until we have finished the Calvard Arc tho.

btw, everyone else walks normally in this show (or like, as normally as you can in ballet shoes), but he stalks. he always has an incredibly deliberate pace with the graceful dancing stalking steps and it really sets off something in my hindbrain, i'll leave what that something is up to interpretation because the answer to any guess will be "yes"

oh heck there's no slow almost teasing horrible seduction at all in this one, it is all out and violent from the get-go

Ooooooh, this is a really interesting question - essentially headcanoning my own character! Lol! I'm trying to think of what Play Nice Shigaraki headcanons I can reveal without spoiling anything/that hasn't already been revealed. Most of my Dust Daddy Bible (LOVE this btw, lol), is backstory that I can't totally reveal yet.

Alright, maybe I'll expand on/clarify some points that have shown up in the series.

Shigaraki didn't go straight from his birth family to AFO's care. He spent about three years in the foster system between then. He had a rough time in it (like many kids do), got in a lot of fights in school and at "home", faced a lot of bullying and abuse, and spent a lot of time on the streets. More details to come in story.

AFO is very aware of Shigaraki's initial extortion of MC - it was, in fact, AFO's intention for MC to be a little hookup for him. He didn't really care how it happened, if she'd be wow'd by money and status or would need to blackmailed, etc - and to be honest, he didn't really care. He could tell that Shigaraki needed an outlet and had tried to hire him hookers/take him to soaplands before, which Shigaraki vehemently rejected. So he figured an arrangement like this would work better.

His insomnia, night terrors, and memory loss are driven by PTSD and to be revealed mental illness. He's cycled a lot of different medications, but very little therapy. The reason for this is, also, to be revealed.

He and Spinner are the same year in college, but Spinner is actually two years older. Dabi is also older, but has a few overlapping GE's with Shigaraki. Shigaraki did know them both before college however, through circumstances that are still to be revealed. (¬‿¬)

Aaaaaand, I guess here are a couple of little fun ones too xD

He hates Hollywood blockbusters almost on principal, especially superhero movies (of course lol). He thinks they paint an unrealistically optimistic view of the world that makes people stupid. The same applies to rom-coms. He's a horror guy, through and through. And while he'll never admit it, MC definitely gets him into reality tv.

He's primarily a PC gamer. His Switch was actually probably his least-touched console pre-story. But since it was MC's main console, he got a lot more into it.

Writing is his worst subject. He has particular trouble with argumentative and creative essays. His best subject is, predictably, math.

While he has a lot of distaste for "popular kids"... he's super into cheerleading uniforms. That whole corruption kink thing. He wanted to go to MC's Sports Festival this year (about a month after they met) until he found out that she was not going to be part of the cheerleading demonstration (she was participating in main events with her club), and got kind of pissy about it.

Eirika paralogue!

Looks like this one is based on the SS Endgame. Eirika remembering Lyon is sad :(

Eirika’s paralogue took forever and it’s mostly just fighting because holy shit there were tons of enemies. Guess that’s all you can do with a Sacred Stones inspired map.

Heh, Celine gives Byleth a flower at her A rank bond with him. Nice callback to gifting in Three Houses.

Celine Alcryst A: Alcryst provided Celine special tea leaves from Brodia said to be a sleep aid. She admits her nightmares have only gotten worse due to the war, but Alcryst vows not to let anything happen to Alfred or Diamant. He tries to pull his usual self-deprecating move, but Celine reassures him it’s good to know someone as skilled as him will protect her brother. Both agree to work together to protect their older brothers.

Celine Louis A: She apologizes for leaving the B support so abruptly. She stresses that he doesn’t need to endanger himself for special things for her and that simple gestures are enough to make her happy.

Ivy Hortensia C: Ivy’s happy to have Hortensia back since they’re the only family they have left. It turns out Hortensia and Ivy actually has different mothers. It seems something happened between their respective mothers that Hortensia finds awkward to talk about.

Seadall Alcryst B: Alcryst is a little envious and awe-struck of the experiences Seadall had in the caravan, but Seadall explains that he joined the caravan because his parents died when he was young and he had nowhere else to go. He had difficulty speaking, so the man who taught him how to dance did so so he could express himself, a gesture Seadall remains forever grateful for.

Seadall Rosado C: Seadall asks how Rosado remains so good-looking, and is skeptical when Rosado says he has no particular beauty technique XD

Fogado Yunaka B: He apologizes for dragging Yunaka to a party. She evidently ran off, and she admits she’s uncomfortable being in a crowd for fear that someone might want to kill her. Fogado catches on but doesn’t pry, but he says Yunaka would be able to enjoy life more if she was more trusting. She promises to take it to heart.

Fogado Rosado C: Fogado upsets Rosado when he says that while Rosado is very cute, he’s not the cutest he’s ever seen XD

Fogado Alcryst C: Alcryst wonders how they can be so different, but Fogado says he likes Alcryst just fine, which just upsets him.

Alcryst Saphir C: Alcryst helped Saphir hunt, so Saphir offers to teach Alcryst how to fish. His outlook improves when she offers to teach him how to cook fish as well.

On to chapter 20!

Zephia and Griss are furious that Mauvier and Marni lost two more rings. Zephia even hits Marni when Marni insists Sombron won’t punish them. Anyways, Mauvier’s upset that Zephia already did her magic on Veyle, then she blasts Marni and Mauvier with magic.

Seems I’m fighting Griss next. Fork over Celica’s ring, you feral wretch!

Unlike the cathedral, Alear’s more adamant that they should retreat at the first sign of trouble. There’s no guards. They probably got turned into Corrupted.

Griss flashes Celica’s ring and tries to bait Alear into a fight. It’s a pretty obvious trap but it’s not like we can just run from this.

Holy shit, Griss actually attacks THEN warps in this map rather than the other way around, that’s great! Evil, but great, lol. Issue is he’s on a +avo tile so I probably wanna get him to warp away anyways. Hmm.

Lol this chapter is something else. Thank god I had Corrin on Alcryst and Alcryst had a longbow.

The devs definitely knew how annoying a map like this could be so there’s plenty of terrain to use and though there’s thieves who try to nab treasure and run away, you don’t have to chase them since they have to return to their spawn point to escape.

Griss kinda... loses it when Alear summons Celica. Ah, it seems Alear somehow confirmed they’re Sombron’s kid by purifying Celica. Aaaaaand yeah, this is something people guessed before the game even came out, lol. Like from the moment we saw Red!Alear in promo stuff.

Ooohhh, I DID notice that Lumera didn’t say the invocation to summon Sigurd way back in chapter 2, but I didn’t really make much of it at the time. I also noticed Sombron said the chants for each ring back in chapter 10 but I thought that was more an ironic echo kinda situation.

More importantly I got Celica back, so who’s the real loser here, Griss? That’s right, it’s you.

Evidently Griss was buying time for Sombron and Veyle to go somewhere.

Despite what Griss said, the party doesn’t just take his word as true. Poor Alear though :(

Evidently Alear dreams in third person lol. Seems Sigurd’s the leader of the Emblems in Marth’s absence.

I guess now that’s the real reason why Lumera pumped Alear full of her Divine Dragon juice: Alear’s not naturally half-blue. Ah. Emblems summoned by the Fell Dragon power can’t talk. So Alear uses the Fell Dragon method but she has the power of a Divine Dragon.

Ah, yeah, Lumera gave Alear her power so she could have the powers of a Divine Dragon.

Again, Alear’s voice actress is top notch. This was actually a pretty sweet scene, I really hope for a flashback or two between Lumera and Red!Alear? We’ll see i guess.

Oh hey it’s Mauvier. Seems he thinks Alear can save Veyle now that he knows she’s Alear’s sister. Sombron’s going to Lythos.

Back to paralogues for a little bit.

Alear calls Byleth “Professor!” in their B Bond, which is hella cute XD

Chloe Louis A: Pretty sweet and simple support, mostly it’s just them being nice one another and giving each other snacks, showing they pay attention to one another’s preferences.

Yunaka Citrinne A: Yunaka talks about how her master fell ill. On his deathbed, he explained he trained her to be his successor and “hired her” to put him out of his misery. Though she had conflicting feelings for the man, she killed him, but then immediately discarded her old life as an assassin. What made Citrinne suspicious of Yunaka was that Yunaka was nosing around in the Brodian assembly, but it turns out she was trying to propose a fund for underprivileged children so nobody had to experience what she did. Citrinne apologizes profusely, but Yunaka reassures her she understands the suspicion. Citrinne still feel terrible and offers to do everything she can to support Yunaka’s attempts with the assembly.

Holy shit, I did not expect Yunaka to turn out to be such a great character!

Alear Ivy A: Ivy had a hard time growing up - Elusia castle was a den of treachery, especially because of her mother. Only her worship of the Divine Dragon kept her sane. She chose to worship Alear initially out of defiance against Elusia, which worshiped the Fell Dragon. Really cute support.

Alear Yunaka A: Yunaka wants to tell Alear about her past. Alear reassures her she doesn’t have to after seeing her struggle. Yunaka thanks Alear, and says she believes she’s found her place in the world at Alear’s side <3

Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction - This is probably my second-favorite R&C game, as it leads up to A Crack in Time. Still, I didn't find it quite as fun or compelling, story-wise.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Both of the Galaxy games were really good and really fun, though if I'm being honest they kind of blend together in my mind, and I can't remember what was in which game ^^' Was this the one where you could reverse gravity and walk on the ceiling? That was fun.

The Last Express - Aww, has nobody played this? :( It's a classic! A mystery on a train! Reminiscent of Murder on the Orient Express! Using time travel and set routines of the characters to figure out the mystery! A plethora of colorful characters who all have their own stories and suspicious motivations! A specimen of rarely-used rotoscoping for animation in a video game! Made by the guy who made the original Prince of Persia! I thought it was fun, anyway.

Reading Blaster 2000 - This is one of my main childhood favorites <3 Set in the same universe as the Math Blaster games, but about reading instead of numbers...I mean, what's not to like? You play in a competition to see...who's the best reader, I guess? You have to complete various challenges that test your reading abilities, whether that's a matching puzzle, following clues, or even making a commercial that you'll get to watch later on in the game. Ike and Rita, the two-headed host of the show, have so many memorable lines that my siblings and I still quote to this day, like "It's exciting...aaaaaand educational!" ^_^ Best of all, at the end of each competition, you unlock a chapter of a choose-your-own-adventure book featuring the main characters going on one kind of adventure or another. The "dun-dun-DUNNNN!!!!" sound that would play when it said "To Be Continued" used to terrify me, though XD

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - What a fun game! I have to admit, I went in with low expectations because I was underwhelmed by Twilight Princess, but I ended up pleasantly surprised both by how fun and colorful it was, and even by how challenging some parts ended up being. Some things were still a little too weird for me (*cough*Ooccoo*cough*), and I would still rather have gotten around on horseback than on a huge pelican-lookin' bird, but overall it was an enjoyable experience. Especially because the MotionPlus allowed for such better motion-sensing, so it really felt cool to swing the sword around. Also, the final battle against Demise is probably the most epic battle in the whole franchise <3

The Witch's House - Whoa, I'm surprised anybody else has played this! It's an RPG Maker puzzle/horror game where you play as a girl who ventures into a witch's house in the middle of the forest and has to try to make it out alive. You might not think that a pixellated RPG Maker game could be that scary, but it actually was! There were several times I felt the hair rising on the back of my neck and my heart pounding. It's a very atmospheric game. It also had a compelling story that slowly unfolds as you go deeper and deeper into the house.

Xenogears - Huh, I didn't expect this one to win! It's not really unknown or anything, but I don't generally come across people who've played it, even if they're fans of JRPGs. Xenogears is such a mixed bag for me. The first disc was really good (with the usual caveats of mid-90s JRPG nonsense XD), with a compelling story full of twists and characters I really liked (I especially liked Fei's particular brand of angst, because it reminded me of a character of mine I was writing at the time), beautiful graphics, and gorgeous music by Yasunori Mitsuda. But then the second disc just kind of dissolved into barely-intelligible complications and really lazy shortcuts like the developers had run out of time or money. On top of that, the anti-Christian sentiment that is unfortunately common in a lot of Japanese storytelling became more noxious than just about any other game I've played, and I lost patience with it, using cheats just so I could see how things ended :/

Warcraft 3 - Actually the only Warcraft game I've played ^^' I adored this game back in the day, and still quite like it. Sure, you can say it's derivative of LotR and Warhammer. No, I don't like what they did with Arthas' character or how no one is allowed to be very happy for very long because you have to keep on having wars or there's no franchise anymore. But there's just something I really like about the setting, the feel of Azeroth. The art style is fun, the music is great, and the developers have a delightful sense of humor that's present throughout the game. Also, I played this game right at the peak of my LotR fandom, while the movies were still coming out, so to me what they did with the Orcs was completely revolutionary. I was astonished when I realized that Thrall was my favorite character, when normally I would think of Orcs as being 100% evil and gross. And, while I can't say they're high literature or anything, I really like all of the tie-in novels I've read, especially Lord of the Clans.

Oof. I like longer fics, but I don't like the amount of effort they require. Ironically, though, as much as I wish I could commit to shorter pieces, I can never actually seem to keep them short.

Depends on the fic, I guess? If I'm going for like, wump or total angst, then I like to go for bittersweet or pseudo-open endings. I like to try and make them hopeful when I can, though.

Otherwise I shoot for happy endings, because as much as I love angst, I need that 'comfort' to go with the 'hurt' part, you know? Otherwise it's too heavy.

I think I'll never get tired of these 3 (from left to right : Leïla, Destiny and Renji) . They are the true main characters of DH and I still didn't show you a lot about them yet >< I love that, just like us, they're growing and changing through time and learning from their mistakes. Each of them is also a part of me : Leïla is basically my own reflection as a witch girl, Destiny is the hero I'd love to follow or the black lead female character I'd like to see more on medias and Renji represents my dark thoughts/depression side as well as my gay part. They're also all métis as we're not used to see métis characters in stories and that I'm métis myself so I wanted to have a special stories for all métis around the world I guess XD

27. what’s the farthest you’ve gotten in a challenge?

I only tried one challenge which was @bugsims Mini gaming legacy challenge ! You can find what I did here but I didn't finished it as I lost my save for it and all the sims I created for the challenge :/ I might get back to it one day though as it was fun (the GTA part was stressing me so much, @castawavy's Allette Haleman from DH was actually supposed to be this gen wife but she was so perfect I didn't want to kill her and used her on DH instead after the save disapeared ^^). I recently saw the Globetrotter challenge and this one looks awesome to do ! So far, I've seen people (you and @hula-zombie actually ♥) starting it on my dash lately and it looks fantastic ! Striker blushed as he kissed Blitz's forhead. "Well I ain't ever bern fucked like that before,"

Blitz smiled and kissed Striker's chest in return. They sat silently for another few minutes.

"No more week long jobs. It's too long."

"Agreed."

With no other commentary Blitz purred as Striker gently rubbed circles below his spines. Soon enough they passed out, sleeping deeply in their lover's embrace.

If it hadn’t been for Piers grabbing him around the middle for support Leon would’ve certainly fallen down on his knees. As it was, he waited for the flash of pain to subside, and once he could breathe easily again he gave Piers a weak smile. “Luis better hurry up with that medicine he was talking about,” he said, shuddering again with the last dregs of the pain.

After beating the Rasputin-look-alike in the barn, Leon had doubled over in pain and coughed up blood, and he didn’t think it had anything to do about how he’d gotten thrown into one of the ceiling beams. He thought he could feel the parasite inside of him, but it was impossible, right? They’d only been injected with eggs, it wasn’t plausible that he could feel those wriggling somewhere below his sternum.

love: lol does not appear in a single one of my wips. so. the same au these all others are from has half of the word, tho, it's the best i can do.

But he’d learned the hard way that trusting strangers wasn’t always the best of ideas. Hell, trusting people you thought your friends, your lov— yeah, trusting wasn’t always the best of ideas.
