Hi, I'm a homeless trans man, seeking help for a room to sleep, tonight or maybe a few days. I've been homeless almost two years now- alone by myself the past year after leaving an abusive relationship. Donations have dried up + I understand why- I've been begging a long time. It's getting cold out + that scares me.

I've had homophobic (+otherwise negative) experiences in men's shelters before. The big local men's shelter included abstinence from public homosexuality in their employee rulebook, before they were legally forced to change it, just a few years back. Trans shelters/housing around here are all part of "women + trans" programs (reviews filled w transmisogyny fwiw).

I have a case manager + applied to all available housing lists, but yet to hear back, which isn't unusual (it can take years to find a place).

I've been applying for jobs for a long time as well, but having difficulty, especially being on the street every day, it's hard to come prepared + look professional- I do badly in interviews, am obviously homeless, the gap in my resume grows wider.

Appreciate any help so I don't fall further please.

Needs (far behind on all):

Room (~$85/night)

Food (EBT lasts 1st week of month)

Phone service (40/month, needs renewed soon)

Bath/hygiene/cleaning products (stuff @ homeless centers limited, expired, gave me rashes numerous times)

Hi Im a homeless trans man seeking help with a room for the night if possible please. I slept outside last night + I'm desperate not to again.

All the trans resources in the area are "women+trans," meaning trying to access anything involves nonstop subtle misgendering leading to a dead end. I've dealt with homophobic harassment at shelters before, which is why I've avoided them since. I have a case manager but things are moving very slowly.

Rooms are around 80-90/night.

Appreciate any help with a place to sleep, or some hygiene products, or anything for some hot food/a place to sit inside when the library's closed, please.
