FINALLY! A good title! XD
I think he is really, really hurt.
Uh... I mean... I guess that would give him the happy family he wants but. Do you know how awful being pregnant is and how much giving birth hurts? And how fucking annoying just one child is? Are you sure you should not have said "3" instead? ^^'
I get that this will make him part of the family, like Hades wishes. BUT think about it! You are not even 14 yet. To be old enough to bear children you should at least be 16 and this is being generous. And then you need to get pregnant and then the child has to come of age. Risteard will be a middle-aged man by then XD
We need to change the plan to Hadis "siblings" children marrying Hadis children, but all in all the plan wasn't that bad XD
The age difference has its benefits it seems XD
My... did we really have to go that far and turn the mad man into a monster? But then again, now its justified to kill him.
The final fight was relatively nice tho.
Poor guy ^^' But it wasn't his fault. Its not like he forgot it, he just didn't know when her birthday was. (She is eleven now. ELEVEN. It will certainly take a few more years for her to bear him ten children XD)
This better not end with a cliffhänger. There is no second season for this one and I do not have the time for another light Novel ^^'
Oh no... with this short amount of time we have left this will end with a cliffhänger.
Could they stop doing this on a show which has not gotten renewed for another season yet? It sucks! And yes, I know it is supposed to make you want to read the Light Novel or Manga or whatever... but I do not want to finish an Anime by reading a Light Novel!
XD At least they didn't end it with a full cliffhänger but a nice scene at least.
I do not really like that this Anime has no real full conclusion but that was to be expected. Hardly any of the short animes have these days. Otherwise, this Anime was really nice. I would recommend it!

In case you were worried that Jíll was burned alive... the title tells you that she is not XD
I think Jill "fell" into the Dragons nest.
Hadis must have imbued Jills teddybear with magic and her Chick used it to protect the Knights.
That is why you should not have carelessly thrown that thing away.
Jill just pissed off the Dragons Egg XD
It is by the way not this Dragons egg, it is actually her future husband inside that egg. The egg just... appeared, as the Dragon said.
I can confirm that chicken and bear are only lightly bruised but alive! Very important!
Nice save from Hadis brother.
I guess here comes the big but absolutely unnecessary plottwist of the finale Episodes.
And yet he is the one who received the Dragon Emperors power... how does this make any fucking sense?
So... the reason why for so many generations no prince who could see the Dragon has been born was because they weren't the real original Dragon Emperors descendants? And by pure coincidence Hadis mother so happened to have an affair with the man who actually had that Dragon Emperor's blood inside of him? How... convenient ^^'
Okay. It ends here and we move on to the next and final Episode of the Do-over Damsel.

I guess having a second chance in live doesn't automatically make things easier, huh?
Haha ^^' At least they almost never fail to change the mood.
We are likely running into a trap but these two are sleeping peacefully while holding hands. So cute ♥
I had a feeling and the show wasn't really hiding it that much but I still hoped Hadis family would not betray him any further...
Hadis has recovered an immense amount of mana in that short amount of time. It speaks for how much he really seems to have.
Jill stopped him from killing her. He has been apologizing a few times now I do believe the sister really was left with no choice and would have wished to avoid it, if she could.
That took a turn for the worse real quick. The bad uncle threw Jill of the Dragon and now I think his dragon wants to kill her?
Of course the Episode ends with a cliffhänger. Two Episodes left. So we certainly have reached the finale.

What the fu** is that title?
Jill, what the hell are you and your people doing? And against Hadis will no less!
Oh look! We have a small army of mighty dragons! Mona likes Dragons!
I think the Title of this Episode was a bit misleading...
W-Wait! Aren't we talking about the Sister of that Prince that Jill was supposed to be married to in her previous life? You know... the one who had an incestuous affair with her brother?
It seems so weird to speak about Hadis getting engaged to someone while we have been treating Jill like his wife for so many episodes now ^^'
I get that this is the best and fastest way out of this dire situation but... ARE YOU NUTS?!
He would NEVER!
Was it really necessary to shock us like this and THEN give the plan about the deception away?
She acts like he WANTS to be close to the princess but it was HER plan all along and against his will no less!
This is their love-language I guess XD
These two are really ridiculous... it is almost not cute anymore at this point.
In the end, even tho he doesn't look the part, they are both just children.
And the Episode is over. Only 3 left. I think they drag this on a bit too much at this point.

Usually I would commend the anime for beeing so realistic to understand that within a month, obviously the chick must have grown, but I am a bit sad, because it was cuter as a chick XD
I wouldn't want to be hated by a dragon either... for multiple reasons, really ^^'
I feel like we will need to know that eventually. I do believe we will meet a black dragon eventually.
So a black dragon with golden eyes is stronger than a black dragon with green eyes? Geez. Anything else? The color of their tongue maybe? ^^'
There is a little bit of a plothole here. Dragons hate her magic, because it comes from the Godesse do to were she comes from. HOWEVER right now she should be without magic so the Dragon should not react to it. But you could see in his eyes (and the title of the episode XD) that it does.
See? She said it herself, she does not have her magic right now.
He was willing to kill that Dragon and made a meal out of it because it had hurt Jill and the only way to make her happy is by making it into food and the thought of that really made her happy. She is - as she just said herself - easy to please. But its very cute ♥
She wants to ride a black dragon with golden eyes because it looks like him and... I can totally get why this is so embarrassing for him ^^'
He also fought by her side in Jills previous life.
So this is one of Hadis brothers?
He calls Hadis an idiot... but I do believe this runs in the family ^^' (Or not... because I think I've heard somewhere that they are actually not really related? But that could have been a wrong spoiler... - regardless tho, they have similarities ^^')
Isn't it kind of ironic that she is the Dragon-Emperors wife but Dragons do not like her?
Appearantly they see her as a thread... not per se dislike her. Which, as Hadis brother just pointed out, has only happened once before and that was with Hadis himself.
They are really cute ♥
Uh... well... we... play "little house on the prairie" and... uh... you know... hid because our magic was stolen and uh... yeah... that's about it.
I mean... it is a more peaceful life than being an emperor, so you can hardly blame him, right?
And thus ends this Episode. Lets move on to the next.

We are back with Episode 7 and it seems like in her previous live Jill actually took one of Hadis siblings as a prisoner of war.
I guess she is getting bored ^^'
Is... this thing headless? O.O
Nope. He was just hiding it XD
Pretty! Although thinking about it now... it is kind of weird that we spend half the season with not being in the capital ^^'
Have we've been hurt?
This was a huge ass slash! How can it not be severe? Also? How could you allow her to land on the ground first? If you want to catch someone's fall, you should be the one to crash first so you take the brunt of the fall. Geez.
Well... its a displeasure to meet you, Mr.George.
(This is appearantly his uncle...)
And here I was, imagining them living happily in the castle. I guess that was naive of me.
I think we are currently powerless in terms of magic. Which is bad. Really bad.
It was about time we've got some shippiness.
They have to hide for like half a year and no one is complaining?
Ah... I knew she wouldn't last that long XD
I... have one? ^^' You look like a child. Strength or not, who in his right mind would take a little girl into their army?
Weren't you supposed to hide at home? ^^'
She certainly doesn't seem like someone who feels sorry for the way her brother has been treated ^^'
Oh, she is the captain of the knights who Jill wants to join.
It seems like she did care in her previous life tho...
Awwww. He previously gave her this bear so it can sleep with her when he as the emperor is to busy to sleep by her side. How cute ♥
The Episode ends here. Lets move on to the next.

Those titles XD
Okay... plottwist.
Gee, this is getting rather deep now...
So he chose her because the godess can not use her as a Vessel, but ultimativly would attack her which would make it possible for him to seal her away, but he needed to sacrifice Jill for it. HOWEVER he ended up caring too much for her to let her die... so now he needs to protect her but has no protection for himself from the goddess. However our Dragonfriend needs to save him so he actually needs to kill Jill when the time comes. But... uff!
Because he believes no one would want to save him, because he thinks he isn't worth it. Poor guy.
I don't think this is the right time to find this endearing... but beggars cant be choosers I guess XD
We are bold today XD Well I guess after she noticed she has started to develop feelings for him she might as well go all out.
He called her by her name for the first time, that should give her strength! (He called her "amethyst" so far, which apparently was to not get the goddesses' attention on her or something...)
She killed her and then she turned back time. But why? I mean, killing her without Hadis having feelings for her already makes no sense but why turn back time?
Why doesn't he even care that she so "effortlessly" destroyed that Spear? Really, the fight was amazing but the way she just cracked that thing with her bare hands like it was nothing was very anticlimactic.
They are both at their absolut limit. But he still managed to gather enough power to save her.
Awwwwww ♥
Yeah... we still need some more time I guess XD (She had a hard time telling him she loves him and ended up starting with that she wanted to leave him and now his soul has left his body XD)
But they are really cute.
Anticlimactic defeating the goddess aside (they explained it tho, she defeated her with love...) this Episode really was a nice mid-season-finale.
He did it again XD
Okay. I am getting tired so I end this here for today. But it was really nice. So far this Anime is Mona-approved.

As per usual, the title makes sure you know what to expect from the episode ^^'
My I think we are jealous...
D-D-Did he just kiss her? Even the guards were shocked XD
Yeah... he might have crossed the line a little bit here ^^'
That slap was kind of well deserved XD
It really is fascinating how quickly this Anime can switch the tone. This is almost scary. And to think just a few minutes ago we had that ridiculous "lovers-quarrel" to say it with Hadis words.
And there is the plot all of a sudden.
Plot and seriousness aside.... its hard to see past how funny it is that she mistreats her pillow while calling Hadis her husband XD
My... isn't it too early for the heartbreak arc? ^^' Its Episode 5, so we have not reached the midseason final just yet.
NOW that this Episode has ended we will start the midseason finale!

This title totally ruins the seriousness off the ending of the last episode XD
He might be an overall a bit odd character but I feel like he is not so bad at being an Emperor.
I thought so.
Normally even I would oppose to this, given their current relationship status. But... knowing that Hadis will be a cuddly teddybear with no dirty intentions whatsoever... I think we can let it slide XD
I think the best part about this is how pure his intentions are.
Babysteps Hadis! Babysteps! First you are just a loveless fiancee because of mutual interests, then you become a brother... and some day you may become the love-interest. Patience!
Haha... they still have a long way to go XD
But they are certainly cute ♥
I guess he started to take it as a challenge XD
Maybe he should figure out his own feelings first ^^'
I still don't get it. If he wants more from her then just hiding his affair with his sister, then it makes no sense whatsoever that he ended up killing her. Or... did she already do what he needed her for when he killed her? I mean, there must be a reason why he insisted it has to be her. If it would be her powers, getting rid of her later hardly makes any sense, even if she found out the truth. I am sure he could make her stay quiet somehow.
And there ends episode 4. I found the switch between fun and serious really entertaining... even tho also slightly weird XD

You know what to expect now. So lets get to it! XD
I mean they have all seen what she can do but it must still sound so weird for her, given that it comes from a little girl that technically speaking should be weaker.
She is very cool. (So far I like that weird but certainly entertainingly different direction this anime takes... compared to most other Isekais.)
To think that is what he wanted... I guess Jill can save his life from becoming what she was in her previous timeline.
This... uh... might be... a problem? ^^'
Ah... of course.
And now all of a sudden Episode 3 Ends. On a cliffhänger! Not nice! Lets move on to the next!

Every crown prince died until the King was left with no choice but to make Hadis his heir, then the King just vanished and Hadis mother killed herself. And the older brother that is supposed to support him actually eventually will betray him? Poor guy. And all that while he did nothing wrong.
Three years? And why did he need a wife for the curse to be calmed and why did the Dragon look like that this wasn't exactly true but he couldn't bring himself to tell Hadis? Should we be worried?
Don't worry Hadis. The place were I feel most at home is a place were getting brother-zoned is only the begging of your love story XD
He might not know much about love but he does know how to be threatening ^^'
I think these two worked with Jill in her previous live or something like this.
I think she just found her resolve. She wants to protect all that she loves and cares about. There is no better motivation than that.
And this is were Episode 2 Ends. Still not bad. Lets move on to the next!

They certainly are both crazy and immensely naive. But I am still glad for Hadis.
I seriously think he doesn't even have any idea of what intercourse even is XD So I am not surprised that he is fine with a marriage in name only.
Yep. Very likely he has no idea what he misses out on if "in name only" will last even after she came of age XD
So since he has his knowledge only from books... that will certainly turn out quite fun, given how most books over-romanticize romance XD (It sounds weird but you get what I mean, right? How many man do give their girls hand kisses even in medieval times? ^^')
She even gets a pretty ring - no diamond tho, but we do not have to be so extra expensive I guess XD
Ladys and gentlemen, we have an opening!
That opening is gloriously funny XD
As they all do...
T-They weren't kidding when they said she has immensely strong magical powers. She just picked up the ship and stop a huge canon-ball only with her fist and it only left a few scratches.
What kind of name is that? And who is she?
Uh... why would he believe he can't be loved if he is loved already? O.o
So she is supposed to become his arranged marriage-fiance. I see... but... I feel like we have nothing to fear from her ^^'
Oh... maybe she is in fact more dangerous then I thought.
Right?
^^' He certainly is special.
I fear saying that they will be a couple bound by Croissants was a bit... uh... too much ^^'
He certainly has a lot to learn.
Certainly an important question you need to ask before you get married to someone.
First of all: How do these deaths suddenly get from horrifying to ridiculous? Also... how many princes were there to begin with? This is like the fith or so.

I like that she came to realize that what she was doing was just what her fiance did with her. Using her until she was not of use anymore and then throwing her away regardless of her feelings. And also that she said she would take responsibility. But... theoretically that would still mean to live the rest of her live trying to make someone happy she doesn't love. So... I have mixed feelings here. I would have preferred she would have said something along the lines of: "I will try to make it work and if it does, I will swear I make you happy." But oh well...
I just realized we didn't even have an opening yet. But it does make somewhat sense. Openings always spoiler so much XD
We do get a cute ending tho.
So this was the end of the first Episode. It certainly wasn't bad. Lets move on to the next.

So welcome our new love interest Hadis. Not sure if he is naive, stupid or desperate to accept that proposal from a little girl that hasn't even looked at him before declaring her love for him ^^'
Well... at first sight he doesn't look like a guy who would burn a whole Kingdom in madness - then again, that other guy doesn't look like a man who fu**s his sister and betrays his fiance either ^^'
That woman? O.o
Its fascinating what 6 years can do to a man ^^'
Looks like the perfect choice to me XD
That says A LOT about how her previous fiance treated her all these years...
It actually was an arranged marriage before... Jill was just too young to get it back then.
I-Isn't he rushing things a bit? He basically kidnapped her ^^'
Looks like he can win her over with food XD
I guess the way to a young ladys heart is through her stomach XD
H-He just said he would have liked for her to be two or three years younger ^^' Ooooookay...
Now I am not sure anymore. Is he even serious? I mean... did he see through all this and is just humoring her until she gives up?
Oh! He actually did believe it... now I feel sorry for that poor fool ^^'
That is... a god? ^^'
Huh? That is... quite an age-gape for sure.
Now I feel really sorry for him...
Feeling unworthy of anyones love is a feeling I know far too well.
Poor guy just wanted to feel loved and wanted by someone who truly wishes to make him happy.

The length of the title surely already gave it away but this is yet another Iseki where the main Lady unjustly dies at the very beginning of the first Episode.
Have you noticed that the princes or nobles or whatever that are usually responsible for the ultimate demise of our Hero Lady is usually blond? And even in non-Isekais where a prince IS the actual love interest they are blond A LOT these days ^^' Or maybe it feels just like that.
He proposed to her the first night they met? This is either really romantic or really stupid ^^'
Okay, you would be able to catch me on the first night as well if you had a blue rose in your hand XD
She was still a child when they first met. Even in medieval times no one would say "I saw you and knew you were the one" to someone so much younger than oneselve without at least an arranged marriage that forces them to say that in the background. But given her age of course she must have been naive enough to not doubt it. After all... at that age, every girl dreams about something like this ^^'
An adult would have likely noticed that his motives could not have been honest and that there was something fishy about him... but for her, he was her first love that she would do anything for, just so he could end up betraying her.
With long episode-titles like these, I am pretty sure I do not have to say much about what we have to expect in this episode XD
All this started so dark and serious... but this is actually a rom-com ^^' So... may I use this unserious screenshot to introduce our main Lady Jill to you?
Its like I am playing an Otome-Game XD So let me reintroduce Gerald, the bad prince that broke Jills heart in her last life.
Incest AND age gape. Nice. And bold.
In 7th time loop (we have not watched that Anime yet but I LOVE the light Novel ♥) small changes like going to the terrasse instead of staying at the ball or leaving through the main entrance have totally turned things around for Rishe, the main Lady there, but here, escaping has done nothing for Jill.
She hasn't even looked at him! She has no idea who she just sad she "fell in love with" because she didn't have a first sight yet XD Desperate times call for desperate measures I guess ^^'
I feel like the reason Isekais are so well received is that we all dream about a second chance sometimes and the questions of "what if I had done something different" is always in our heads. Seeing those characters in positions were they are able to change their destiny or make right what they did wrong and avoid their biggest mistakes kind of... makes you feel sympathetic with them, because you wish to would be able to do the same sometimes too. And I think the reason most Isekais start with the betrayal by the lover (7th time loop does this whole thing a bit different through...) is because a lot of us may ask themselves how their life could have been if they did not end up in an unhappy marriage or harmful relationship... and if we may would have ended up with someone who truly loved us and made us really happy.
(Speaking of happy marriage... we will of course watch season 2 eventually after its finished - same of course goes for an unnamed memory...)
H-He just immediately said he made her his wife XD Man like these seems to be drawn to her like moths to the flame ^^'
He mentioned that she has huge magical energie. So it seems like... uh... what was his name again? *checks quickly* Ah right! That Gerald guy did not just choose her because she was young, naive and easy to deceive.
OR he will fall in love with his far too young wife and she will be able to stop him from doing that? How does this sound? XD
Well... either way there is no getting out of this now XD

Well... guys I am still struggling with deciding what to watch. I really want to rewatch the old Animes with you. And now that both Sailor Moon and Ranma 1/2 have a Remake that I refuse to watch until I have rewatched the original Anime I really should get it over with. (And yes, I am ignoring the Digimon Remake on full ass purpose because IF I ever get though that again then it will be the original and and after I finish the aftermath of Adventure I will NEVER touch that Anime EVER again XD) In any case, as it was normal in my time, the old Animes are ginormous (And I am not even talking about Detective Conan or One Piece or Dragon Ball here) and the length of those Animes kind of scares me. It took me AGES to finish Card Captar Sakura with its 3 Arcs and one Movie and I am afraid with the 200 original Sailor Moon Episodes it will take even longer. Same for what Inusha has in store for me. So... yeah... I've kind of decided to still go with the silly 12 Episodes Romance (or so) Animes for a while longer.
This time, we will watch "The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor". (Why on earth are those anime titles getting longer and longer every freaking year? XD) I have a ton of other shorter Animes that I also REALLY want and/or need to watch but I find it hard to find the time for it. Right now, while I am on my short JRPG-Break I kind of prever to play Farming Games in what little free time I have. There are also chores to do and my friends book doesn't read itself. (And here I am, unmarried, with only furry children and a 4 rooms flat and a (mostly) 7 to 3 job - how do people with Partners, Kids and houses get anything done in their lives?) Plus, my mental health is struggling immensely lately, with it being the cold and dark time of the year not helping at all. Stealing what little motivation I have...
In any case, it is time to watch this Anime. I have been looking forward to it since it was announced because that Age-Gape is right up my ally XD
With a title that long I will tag it " DOD Mona Version " (Do-Over Damsel)

Episode 12... prepare yourself!
How and when did he even notice he timetraveled and also... how did he know where to find her?
Not for much longer... and how is that a way to introduce yourself to a 13 year old girl after breaking into her room and threatening her with a magic absorbing Sword?
Poor child... I guess I get why he couldn't stop himself from changing the past.
Ironically enough, YOU are actually the one who doesn't know Lanak at all.
We are freaking 14 minutes in!
Just a thought but... if Tinashas home country never gets destroyed, wouldn't that influence the freaking whole world? Might it not even delete Oscars existence, given that his mother clearly was at least a mage?
Also.... if the power does not manifest itself within her, will she even be strong enough to survive as long as she did? Without he will to free the spirits of Tuldarr that were entrapped... what reason to live would she have? But I guess being Queen of Tuldarr might just do the trick, huh?
Oscar... I get that this is your last chance and all... but... she is freaking 13 man XD No wonder that the fandom called this Episode "fucked up" that is far too much for the western fandom to swallow XD
It makes sense but... still...
I get that. I do! But you ruined everything!
I don't even know what to say at this point...
The Anime wasn't bad, tho far too rushed. Lots of questions left unanswered. The romance was nice tho. A bit unorthodox... but nice nothing the less. Its just... with this ending it all feels kind of... worthless? I think they got the okay for another season so I guess not all hope is lost but... what a way to end this Anime.
To be fair tho, I have been complaining time and time again that the endings of the 12 Episode Animes were almost always bad. As in the Episodes in itself were bad. I wouldn't say this episode was bad. The outcome just wasn't good ^^'
If there is a second season, I will certainly come back to it.
