The first comic takes place before the two started dating. Shrimpo is really really really bad at expressing emotions other than anger and frustration, so anytime he tries to express anything, he just blurts out his feelings without thinking. Then he gets second-hand embarrassment lol. Glisten was pretty aware that Shrimpo liked him before, but he's pretending to be surprised to make Shrimpo "feel better" (also to mildly embarrass him lol).

Also, I think that Shrimpo and Glisten bonding over hating Finn is very based and true. They need that autistic man to SHUT UP/silly

I think Shrimpo and Finn are very cousin coded. Not close enough to be siblings but definitely got some familial genes going on imo (plz don't shoot me Shrimpbowl shippers🙏🙏🙏) Doesn't stop Shrimpo from being violent towards Finn tho, and Finn does nothing to deter it lol (he finds it funny). Also, Glisten throws no punches bc he doesn't want to get his hands dirty.

On the other end, I've been thinking about Shimmer a lot lol. So here is a doodle of her with her "sister aunt" Toodles, and Pebbles.

They all get along super well. In this pic, Toodles is like 12ish and Shimmer is 4 (but her weird biology made her age up to like 7 here). Pebble is pebble, that's all you need to know.

I love you angst comfort. My sib pointed out while playing one day that Shrimpo looked traumatized as a Twisted, which like, fair, but it make me think.

Glisten: "They say you are not here anymore. But I think you are."

I had this silly idea that Twisted Shrimpo was infected by Dandy personally, and that whole conflict got Shrimpo's lower jaw ripped off. He is very violent and volatile, and very hard to calm down. But, when he runs into a twisting Glisten alone and scared, he comforts him (to the best of his ability).

Since Glisten is still able to be somewhat conscious, he realizes that the Twisteds are actually not completely gone like he originally thought, and it helps him keep his sanity longer, hoping for a way out for everyone.

Willpower is a crazy thing.

On the complete opposite note, I love you horrifying freak of ichor child.

Since Shimmer was made from the ichor itself with no sort of skeleton or solid foundation, her condition is very unstable. And the problem is that her body is affected by her emotions. On a bad day, she can suffer from lots of pain and her body literally melting away. That's when she hides out and waits for her body to stabilize again.

When she completely twists, her body completely falls apart, becoming a puddle of ichor on the ground. If she was an encounterable twisted, she would work like Sprout's puddle root things, but easier to maneuver around and avoid. Also, her antenna glow.

(Eventually, the two of you were at the door. No words were exchanged, but you knew you were both having a terrible internal panic.)

(There's voices downstairs, one, two. . . Oh stars they're ALL there. You couldn't make out what they were saying, but you could hear laughter, a squeal, and more. You can imagine what they were talking about. You squeeze Ramos hand, and walk forward, forward to the stairs. You weren't trying to be sneaky.)

(You hear people shushing each other as you walk downstairs, Ramos a step behind you, hands still together. And as you stepped down into the view of the front living room, there everybody was.)

(Bonnie was making a grossed out face, Nilles grin was wide and smug, Mirabelle was flapping her hands excitedly and Odile was giving you a very familiar look. Isabeau was, was, smiling? Yeah! Smiling, face a deep shade, excited? O-or, or nervous? Stars you hoped he was alright.)

(You and Ramos stood at the base of the stairs. They were squeezing your hand, threatening to break it. The silence continued for five, seven, ten seconds or more.)

". . . . . . . So." (Odile breaks the silence.) "Who said it first?"

(You, slowly raise your hand.)

(You watch, befuddled, as Nille, Odile, and Mirabelle all hand Isabeau over a few coins each- WAIT.)

(You let go of the kiss, gasping for air, and feeling light headed. You stumble back.)

"I Promise, we'll do it." (You respond. You don't need to check if it was alright with everyone else. This wasn't negotiable.) "Cross my heart, and hope to die."

So.. sun² created a paradise for himself and others, most likely suns but not every sun. Okay guys I won’t lie, I AM A HUGE SEBASTIAN STAN FAN SO THE WHOLE TIME I WAS FOCUSED ON BUCKY BARNES BUT BUT I HAVE A FEW THINGS TO SAY I SWEAR.

THIS TRAILER WAS SO GOOD. Let’s start off with Yelena’s line in the beginning. “There is something wrong with me, an emptiness. I’m just drifting, and I don’t have purpose.” THIS LINE like damn girl i feel the same. 😞☝️As Yelena says this line we get glimpses of John Walker, BUCKY BARNES💜 and Yelena. I feel like that sentence resonates with all three characters. We see that John feels hopeless, like he has no purpose as he scrolls through an article about him on his device. Each scene he’s in, it’s like he’s questioning his life decisions. Then there’s Bucky who is walking through a court room or something I have no clue what’s happening there BUT DAMN SEBASTIAN STAN IS LOOKING GOOD. (Come here pookie bear…🤤🫶)

So the next scene Yelena walks into this room with like stuff, it seems like she’s looking for something. Then she gets thrown off by John Walker, who shoots at her multiple times. They have a little tussle but then John gets pushed by someone else. Now here comes a few masked people who attack them BUT JOHN IS STILL FOCUSED ON TRYING TO KILL YELENA HELP. The fighting pauses only because they turn around and some guy named Bob is standing there looking like he just escaped a mental asylum. 😭 (honestly i have no clue what’s happening here.)

Asking Yelena, John and everyone else if they were sent by someone, I think this is when we learn this was meant to be a trap. Yelena says this line: “Everyone here has done bad things. Shadow Ops, robbing government labs, contract kills.” With this information and also them being all together as the room locks down—someone wants them gone.

ALRIGHT NEXT SCENE. We are now in a museum it seems like, AND HELLO CALLBACK TO THE FIRST AVENGERS FILM??

I've seen these all over Tumblr before and now that I actually went to a gig for a band I follow on here, thought I might as well right down my experience of the show so...

Thoughts from the show

Me and my bestie got to the venue and started queuing at about 3:30-3:45 or something and we were in the first like a hundred or so in the queue (we did not mean to queue that early, we were going to go after school had finished - so like 4 or 5, but we got let out at lunch cause of final year 10 exams so...)

Made a bestie in the line who was great and who we stayed with throughout the gig, gonna love them forever❤️

The sun was shining directly down on us so like next time I am making sure to bring an umbrella or something as it was super fucking glary (it wasn't unbearable though which was good).

Bought merch, the Victoria Is My Girlfriend tank top and the grey t-shirt with the pink picture which are both so slay.

The doors opened at 7:30 and we got in some time between then and like 7:40, we had to fast walk to our gates which was fun but then by the time we got to the floor we were only like five people from the front or something.

Made another bestie while waiting for the gig to start who was very tall and basically became like a guardian angel for me and my friend, they had been to a bunch of moshes before and stuff and ended up keeping track of us the whole time which was fun.

There were two girls in front of us doing coke while waiting for the show, they offered me some and I did not know how to feel about it.

Damiano was SO FUCKING HOT IN PERSON I SWEAR TO GOD!!!!!!! I am never going to shut up about how fucking FINE that man is. He was sweaty and so damn sexy and his voice was flawless and I strangely got the gut urge to lick him which is something I've never had before.

Vic CAME INTO THE CROWD during one of the songs (sorry I couldn't remember which one, I was very distracted), stood less than a foot away from me, close enough that I could see that she is shorter than me which I did not realise, and she made DIRECT FUCKING EYE CONTACT WITH ME I AM NOT OKAY!!!!! This was the first of FIVE TIMES that this happened, I am never recovering and she is fucking GORGEOUS in person.

Thomas was so slay up close (and I mean up close, we were so close that I could pick out his individual moustache hairs I swear), he's a fantastic guitar player, he had a couple of solos but the main one was the big one he did at the start of the encore, I also made eye-contact with him once as he was directly in front of us for like the entire gig.

I also locked eyes with Damiano THREE TIMES, he also looked at my friend, I swear to god that man is so sexy I want to die.

Ethan's hair looked fucking MAJESTIC in person, he is such a fucking amazing drummer I SWEAR.

I took my shirt off somewhere in Valentine I think as it was too fucking hot, but then I had the best time just bopping around in my bra.

Damiano, Vic and Thomas all crowd surfed, sadly not near me, but it was fucking awesome.

They did Trastavere and Are You Gonna Be My Girl acoustic on a little stage at the other side of the stadium, I couldn't see that very well but it sounded AMAZING.

Ethan and Vic did a fucking amazing solo while Thomas and Damiano were coming back across the stadium, I think the song after that was IWBYS.

Damiano's shirt at the start was HOT - only buttoned up at his waist, but him shirtless in person killed me.

Vic's outfit was so fucking sexy I swear to god (and I got to see it up close, AAAAAAAAAA).

Ethan started off the show in a suit, then went to just a shirt, and then just a tie, and my god that man is attractive.

Damiano had an Italian flag at multiple times and it was so slay, at one point he got everyone in the crowd who was Italian to put their hands up.

The encore was The Loneliest and IWBYS, someone made Vic laugh during IWBYS and it was the cutest thing ever, she was like right in front of us for that.

In the encore I couldn't choose who to look at as I had Damiano on my left and Vic on my right and I felt weirdly like this was some kind of metaphor for my sexuality turmoil but it was amazing.

I am fully in love with Damiano's hair again, now that I've seen it in person I promise I will never doubt again.

They did all of the new songs from Rush! (Are U Coming?) and they were AMAZING!!!!!!

It is morning now, I only got five hours of sleep or less, the ringing in my ears has only slightly disappeared, my throat is going to hate me all of today, but it was so fucking worth it.

The way they both went from being so distrustful and angry with each other to this IMMENSELY VISCERAL UNBREAKABLE TRUST AND FAITH between them. The way Kobb was the first out of ANYONE that Rezek told about Frifer. The way that Kobb was the first one it felt comfortable/safe enough with to hug [after they left Korok Forest way earlier on in the story] and probably just be that close with in general. THE WAY THEY STILL FIGHT AND ARGUE SOMETIMES BUT ALWAYS MAKE UP AND GROW CLOSER WITH EVERY MISTAKE. The way that in the last chapter Rezek was the one to stop Sledge from charging into the Lynels when they thought it had killed Kobb because it SO INTENSELY BELIEVED AND TRUSTED that Kobb would be okay, and how it knew it was still alive when they all teleported back to Akkala before it even sat back up. GOD YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THEY MEAN SO MUCH TO ME I LOVE THEM SO MUCH

I've been calling then stormshelter,, thinking of other names but I might just stick with that,, UGG HHHHH THEY'RE SO LOVELY THEY'RE SO IMPORTANT TO ME WILLNYOU COOKED SO HARD WITH YOUR CHARACTERS I LOVE THEM SO MUCH

God I could talk about Rezek and Kobb for hours it's unreal. One part that I really love about their dynamic is that usually when you see clashing within the party in fiction it's over misunderstanding and/or hearing the wrong parts of convos (which I can't stand which is why they will never appear here lol)

But no Rezek and Kobb are both "Oh, I understand everything. I just think you're wrong" lajhskdfasdk

I still remember back during the Korok Forest arc where I was like "okay who's going to be the one to get everyone to go back to Rezek". At first I was gonna make it Sledge since it had its whole first encounter with Rezek and knew it was hiding more than it let on. But I ultimately decided on Kobb because I was like "No. It would be such a good example of Kobb's character if it was the one to go back to Rezek instead."

I JUST GRAHHHHHHHH KOBB NEVER EVER GIVES UP!!!!!

I feel like it was THAT moment that solidified what I really wanted to do with Kobb. And then its dynamic with Rezek as consequence. LIKE REZEK THOUGHT ALL OF THEM WOULD GIVE UP ON IT WHEN THE INEVITABLE HAPPENED BUT THEY DIDN'T AND THE ONE IT CLASHED WITH THE MOST SPEARHEADED THEM RECONCILING AAAAAAAAAA

AND THAT LED TO KOBB BEING THE FIRST THAT REZEK OPENED UP TO ABOUT FRIFER LIKE U SAID YEA YEA

MY FAVORITE CONTRAST BETWEEN THEM, PERSONALLY, IS HOW THEY'RE EQUALLY EMOTIONAL/ANALYTICAL BUT IN OPPOSITE WAYS

Kobb's very emotionally controlled while Rezek has a tendency to let its emotions get the better of it. BUT THEN WHEN IT COMES TO COMBAT THEY'RE THE EXACT OPPOSITE. Kobb is often a little too eager to hop into battle (as seen in the Rito AND Lynel arc) to prove a point, while Rezek is EXTREMELY controlled and patient while in battle. (Exceptions notwithstanding Rezek was just being a little silly in its duel with Ire).

WHICH MAKES THE MOMENT WHERE REZEK GOES "I still believe" HIT SO HARD because it has so much trust in the combat-side of its brain when it says that Kobb is still alive it believes it 200%.
